"Are you alright, Archie," Violet asked the Slytherin Chaser. "I tried to go after the bulggur but it was like it was coming after you."
Archie wasn't the actual chaser, he was a fill in due to the other one getting ill. The whole arena was quite shocked how the buldger was chasing him through out the game, when it finally hit him. Sprout called for the game to stop and him to be taken to care.
"I know you did Violet, we'll beat those Puffs next time." Archie said feeling disoriented. It was then Madam Longbottom came in.
"I see you got injured, I'll fix that right up." She said in a hasty tone, ignoring everyone else.
"Can't believe those bloody Badgers overthrew us." Olivia complained coming in. "I would have gotten it if it wasn't cut."
"I know, well, I'm sure you'll get the Gryffindors." Madam Longbottom said as the entire Slytherin team instantly turned to her confused.
Violet couldn't help but fur her eyebrow, considering Madam Longbottom's husband was recently made temporary head of Gryffindor in Wood's absences and like everyone else, they figured Madam Longbottom for Hufflepuff.
"Now, this is a minor injury," She explain, feeling the back of Archie's head then taking a tissue to wipe the hair and putting it in her pocket. "Who are you?"
"Archie Narrow,"
"Yes, sounds like Achilles," she muttered. "You are thirteen years old, right?"
"Why are you asking these questions?" Violet asked.
"Young lady, let the professionals deal with this matter." Madam Longbottom snapped. "Now, this is a special kind of potion. In order to give it to you, I need a sample of your saliva."
"You gave that potion to me last week and didn't ask for that!" Violet pointed out.
.
"It depends on the case," Madam Longbottom cut her off. "You didn't have anything to drink now, right."
"No," Archie answered.
"Good, be a good boy and rub this around the corner of your cheek." He followed orders, looking at the woman confused.
Archie couldn't help but notice how Madam Longbottom stared at him, in such a deep and longing manner. He even notice a tear at the corner of her eye. As soon as Archie gave it to her, she put it in a zip-lock bag and then grabbed a needle and took a few blood cells from the cut. Afterwards, she poured alcohol on it and wrapped the injury around warmly, ignoring the others in the room. She then made Archie some hot tea.
"Who's that coming?"
"No one, I'll be in touch." she said, giving Archie one long stare and left.
It was then Hanna Longbottom came in through a different door with Professor Tonks.

"Harry, why didn't you tell me about my boss being your godfather's daughter?" Teddy asked as they walked to work the next morning.
"Because she didn't even know, Ted," Harry answered. "I haven't spoken to her since, she seems to be avoiding me. How is she taking it?"
"Well, I guess, she's been a bit more temperamentally demanding. Her co-workers try to bring it up but she ignore us."
"I see," Harry changed the subject. "What's this about you moving to Wales?"
"I'm moving in with my grandfather so I can take care of him. Grandma is engaged and happy. He needs me and I want to cherish as much time with him as I possibly can." Ted answered.
Harry nodded with pride. It was so unlike the last time when Teddy wanted to go live with his parental grandfather. After he found out Andromeda was romantically involved with his transfiguration professor, he stormed out and moved in with Lyall. Lyall of course, wouldn't deny his grandson a home but persuaded Ted to accept the relationship. Eventually Teddy went back to live with Andromeda. Lyall Lupin had a close bond with his grandson, there was no doubt about it.
Harry approached the office in the early morning to find a woman waiting for him. She wore a pea green coat and her hair was covered with a pink scarf only revealing the strands sticking out along with sunglasses to hid her identity. Harry recognized her right away.
"Harry," Pansy said rushing to Harry even before he ended his office.
"Morning, Pansy," Harry said opening the door for her, noticing her caring around a small handkerchief.
"Do we have a free moment this morning? I found more evidence for my son's case." Pansy said anxiously. "I got his hair."
"Already," Harry said, surprised as he took the elevator. He looked to make sure not a soul was around and lead her to the elevator.
"Of course, I wasn't going to sit at home and tittle my fingers. This is my son." Pansy pointed out. "I'm a Slytherin for gosh sakes."
Harry nodded.
"Ted, when you go down to work, tell Carnation to expect a memo from the Unit of Missing Witches and Wizards."
"And she needs to come up to his office," Pansy added.
Teddy nodded and continued to meet his own elevator. The two made it to their elevator, Harry was somewhat scared to ask how she inquired samples of this random boy she saw in a picture of a crowd.
"Morning, Harry," Vladimir said with his usual cigar. "Hestia the translator's wife is here."
"Welcome back Hestia," Harry said as she greeted him with a handshake.
"Yes, Harry," Hestia entered the office, proudly, in her gray uniform. She stood up, worried
"Hestia, welcome back, how is everything in the Office of Domestic and Family Affairs?" Harry asked.
"Besides a mountain of paperwork, it's normal. I came to see you about Jeanette Maples, the fifteen year old squab that was murdered." Hestia explained. She then looked over and noticed Pansy standing right there. For a moment, Hestia compared herself, a new mother feeling heartbreak at having to place her new baby girl in daycare and the longing to see her. She couldn't even begin to endorse of not knowing what happened to your son years later.
She went into Harry's office, ignored the Elf, whom she assumed was Vladmir.
"St. Mungos sent back the reports of the fifteen year old squab girl. We have enough evidence to warrant a murder charge against her mother along with the child abuse charge. I would also like to have a warrant for her step-father, according to his mother, Jenette's step-grandmother he did nothing. I am also going to investigate my staff, apparently the step-grandmother reported the abuse as well as a few neighbors. He is being charged with accessory to murder and accessory to child abuse. They will both be awaiting trail at Azkaban. I was on my way to a meeting with The Department of Squabs, she has a record for an education, but the mother pulled her out of school after the teachers reported Jeanette to muggle authorities. Figg and I are going to see what happened that they lost track of her."
Harry scanned them, and signed the papers. Through working as a furor he had come across many children he thought be better off as orphaned. Harry signed the papers in hoping that Jeanette gets justice.
"Now, the reason I called you down here. Is there anyway I could get a file of Achilles Baslne. His mother claims to have new evidence." Harry said as he paged for Pansy to come in. Hestia, being the head of Domestic Affairs was aware of it.
"Will do' Hestia said, then left.
"Alright, Pansy, what is going on, how did you get this boy's DNA?" Harry asked, looking at Hestia to make sure she remained in the room.
"He goes by Archie Womer. I stalked Hannah Longbottom until I was able to get a hair sample, luckily, my son is on the team. I used a bulgur to cause a minor injury so that I could heal it. I then took the potion and snuck into the Slytherin practice room then I used it for a polyjuice potion. While I was 'healing' him, I took a sample of his blood, sylvia and hair. All of which I have with me now." Pansy then took out the samples in three separate bags.
"What!" Harry asked, shocked but not surprised.
"He's my child, he has the same birthmark and face." Pansy continued, ingrains Henry.
"But it's illegal to stalk someone, and to sneak into a school. It is also illegal to impersonate a medical professional, purposely cause an injury and give unauthorized treatment to a minor, as well as put jinx on equipment endangering a child." Hestia could have gone on.
"So is taking a little boy at a Quirdtich match and I haven't seen justice for that." Pansy argued. "Parent to parent, you would have done the same thing. I I deserve an answer. For years I have come to an empty house and quite room, knowing my child is alive while everyone treats him as if he is dead. He's my son, I want him back."
"The Longbottoms are my closest and dearest friends. What you did to them was wrong. But I am going to let it go. This will never leave the room, Hestia will find a loophole so this is never found." Harry looked over, and Hestia nodded. Vladimir, still going through his reports made a disapproving huff, Harry ignored him.
"Harry, Dr. Marinovia is here." The secretary came in and announced.
"Tell her to come in." Hestia said quickly. "She's a mother, she'll understand."
Carnation walked in, she was looking her usual self but this time with more of an attempt to tame her black hair. This was the first Harry has seen her since his house keeper publicly undermined her identity of a proud Muggle Born in front of press and her scientific peers.
"Yes," Carnation said in a professional manner.
"Carnation, this is Pansy Zabini, the mother of Achillies Zabini, through other means she believes to have his DNA." Harry pointed out.
"How she obtain these samples will not be questioned by your staff," Hestia added, not showing any emotion in her voice.
"How old is the sample of buccal cells collected?" Carnation asked Pansy.
"Less than 36 hours," Pansy answered.
"I will take you to my office and run some test, it would be wise to contact his father to be more accurate," She said her eyes coldly staring. "Everyone deserves answers."
"Thank you," Pansy said rising to leave the office.
"Oh, Harry, I ran DNA test against the skeleton this morning with Sirius Black, we should have results in a few days." Carnation said staring straight at him. "I am waiting for results."
"Out of curiosity, did you find any other matches to Sirius's DNA?" Harry asked as Hestia's eyes beamed.
"I used my duplicate potion and preformed a Transaltum fator patriarch on a piece of my hair. I then compared it to Sirius's hair. It was a match." Carnation cut short before Harry could even inquire more. Pansy followed her to the lab.
"Not getting off topic, but one of the reasons she tracked down Erne when he returned from Botswana was because she wanted her daughter to know the identity of her father." Hestia pointed out. "She cares much more about this than she lets on."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Teddy asked, meeting his godfather for lunch.
"Because she didn't know," Harry answered. "Anyway, how did you find out?"
"Grandma and Aunt Nessie were having their girl's night, you know when they get together to drink and gossip. They still don't know I can hear them out my window when they were on the patio particularly when the sisters get drunk. Anyway, they talked about Carnation last night, while drinking on the porch and caring on. She knows the Malfoys, she was Astoria's maid of honor and Scorpius's godmother. That was the joke, Nessie was mad because wanted Andromeda to be his godmother instead but Astoria assisted her muggle-born friend and Lancelot Weasley to be Scorpius's godparents.
"I remember that," Harry recalled reading how his father-in-law's gay younger brother was in a picture of the Malfoy's christening.
"Well, to get back on track, Nessie was saying the joke was on her because Carnation's not really muggle-born and a Black, therefor from her side. She was really drunk."
Ted sighed, remembering the very strange conversations he has heard his great aunt and grandmother every other Wednesday from eight to nine, from men, to how Aunt Nessie met her future husband when she was three and threw sand on him, to hearing about tortuous abuse suffered at the hands of their parents and a third older sister who received the worst of it. They had stupid things to in-depth secrets. He also found out they both had a miscarriage the same year, something discovered when they approached Neville to comfort their co-worker. It was at the Malfoy Mansion, where Nessie convinced Andromeda to date again. There wasn't a topic those two sisters couldn't cover.
"How is your grandfather doing?" Harry asked.
"Well, I assumed. He has a girlfriend. This Jewish witch who doesn't stop talking and always wanting to feed me. Oh, and did you hear the news?"
"I heard your moving in with him."
"Yes, I was fourteen, when I found out that Mopus was moving in."
"It was bad enough my charms teacher was my grandmother, the school librarian was my aunt and now it was my transfiguration teacher, so I packed up my things and moved in with my grandfather. Grandma was upset with him for not sending me back, but he was firm and said he wasn't going to say his grandson wasn't welcomed because to live with him, but convinced you to back to your legal guardian."
"I love my grandfather, my father was his only child. Since he's not here, it's my responsibility to take care of him and pass on his legacy. He taught me so much, my patromus, and how to speak Welsh and bought me my first broom. I remember the summer between my third and fourth year. When he took me to Hawaii with him to help with the infested boggats. He introduced me to boggat hunters around the world, saved me from a nasty one and taught me how to catch it. I never knew he was a world known expert, he was my grandfather and he is going to die, I'll be a faithful grandson and take care of him."
Carnation came back into the break room, "Nice to see you Harry," she said in her usual tone as she ate her salad.
"You as well," Harry said, he couldn't help but feel awkward. "How are things going for you?"
She stopped for a moment and looked at Harry. "Ted, can we speak alone."
"Of course," Ted said and left.
"Listen, Harry," Carnation started slowly. "Your godfather may have sired me, but that's about it. He didn't even know I existed, I understand it wasn't his fault, but I had a wonderful childhood with a family who loved me. Fate decided you needed him more than I."
"Carnation, he would have been a good father to you, he would have cared." Harry said. "That was stolen from him."
"Harry, decades ago, I would've given anything to know my father, or at least his name. But then I decided to not let that define me. I am a mother to a wonderful daughter, I have a supportive family, well-rooted faith and an established science career. It's nice to finally have a name but that's all he'll be to me. I am glad he was able to be more to you though."
~X~.
Harry came home tired, as always but ready to enjoy an evening with his family.
"May," Harry called. "Could you please get me a cup of tea?"
"Mum's busy, you may have to get it yourself," July came though the door that lead to his mother's flat with a load of books.
"Where is she?" Harry asked.
"She's all worried that girl who technically should have inherited us, I then remind her we're not property and never where. Wizards only made us think that in order to keep us in oppression due to the human evolutionary natured causing a need for power. She then said not all humans are enemies and I said but they oppressed us for thousands of years." July answered simply. "Lily brought a friend over."
"Alright, July, you see I just got off a very long day at work." Harry explained.
"Tell that to my boss, should have seen the look on her face when I strolled into the interview. I had July Freelf on my resume who did she think I am. Now, that she found out she once owned my dad, she want's to give me a sympathy scholarship." July said, ignoring Harry's comment.
"Yes, Dobby would be so proud to hear that his son was offered a free scholarship to university and is considering turning it down on principal." Harry accidentally said out loud.
"I'm taking it," July rebutted.
"Good, your father would rise from his grave and slap you if you didn't," May came in with a case of books. "Are these the books needed for your term paper?"
"What are you going to school for?" Harry had to ask.
"History and political science, I plan to work in the ministry to improve lives of us elves everywhere. There is an unspoken rule in the ministry that the head of Werewolf Affairs, has to be a werewolf, that is why Ivan Ossupov was chosen over Hermione. I think the same should go for with elves. After talking with that Valdmir who works in your office, there is no reason for magical history to not include us."
"You spoke with Vladimir?" Harry asked.
"Yes, when he came to ask to court my mother. I spoke with him briefly about Elf history." July continued, going through books. "He said that elves need to be in power to make opportunity for more elves. We can't rely on the sympathy of humans forever."
"You shouldn't dismiss what Hermione has done for your kind," Harry said. "When the ministry was giving out money to those who lost parents in war, they shortchanged you and your sister. Claimed that your mother being an Elf didn't need it. Your mother took the case to Hermione and she made sure you two got double. When the bank denied your mother and grandfather a right to open an account, she represented her to make sure she wasn't discriminated against.
"We are aware that human aid for our fight to equality but the problem is the elves, after generations of oppression from society and among ourselves, it won't be like taking off a bandaid." May said coming in with a stack of books from her flat.
"Why are the initials MM on here?" July asked sorting through the box of old, well preserved books.
"The initials of the person who somewhat gave me my book collection." May said shortly. "A human, after she found out why we were steeling books and what we were, she not only let your father and I keep them but gave us more."
"Thank you," July said, finishing the apple. "Harry, may I use your office?"
"Yes, of course," Harry said, shaking his head as July snapped his fingers and left while Pumpkin came out to greet Harry in her happy tail wags.
"What's this with you and Vladimir?" Harry asked with a coy smile while stroking the pup's head.
"He's a single, handsome elf with a successful career that is interested in me. He can be arrogant but I love his accent." May answered. "July seems to like him.
"He is so different from his father," Harry commented, picking up the puppy as she tickled his cheeks with licking kisses. Harry kindly pressed his fingers against the puppy's head, as she smiled putting her head up, welcoming the touch.
"Both my children are different from Dobby and I. They are also different from each other, with their own personalities and ambitions. We wanted them to be free but sadly the world does not see them that way." May said before yelling up the stairs. "Lily, your tea tray is ready."
"Tea tray?" Harry questioned.
"She has a new friend over." May said. Harry nodded in remembering their nanny training the children to always have bake goods and a hot beverage with company.
It was then Lily and Orchid came tumbling down the stairs, talking in loud voices of laugher while their feet stomped the floor. "Come down the stairs quieter, be ladies." May said. "Lily, come with me to get your friend some thing."
"That's what my Daddy's elf says." Orchid laughed. "Hello, Mr. Potter."
"Hello, Orchid, does your Mum or Dad know your here?" Harry asked.
"It's my Mum's week, I called her at the lab. She says it's perfectly fine." Orchid answered.
"Orchid, stay and visit with Mr. Potter, while your hostess goes and get's the tea tray. Lily, come with me."
"I am not allowed to eat any nuts, here is a note from my mum," Orchid brought up. "I am allergic."
"Your father already informed me on my way home," Harry informed. "May, Erine told me that if we touched nuts to wash our hands and anything containing nuts is away so the fumes don't get in the air."
"It's a pleasure to stay at your home, Mr. Potter," Orchid said in a polite manner, that held similarity to her father.
"It's a pleasure to have your acquaintance, Miss Orchid." Harry sighed as Orchid sat on the sophia across from him, crossing her ankles. She glanced the around the room, observing what was around her. Her eyes glanced over at the pictures on the mantel.
"My Daddy and Uncle Dennis said they were both in your army. My uncle in heaven was as well. He broke the curser to help witches and wizards underage, how did he do that?"
"My brother-in-law, Percy aided your uncle, Collin in that, he'd be able to inform you." Harry explained. "I honestly didn't hear about it until after Collin died."
Orchid nodded as Harry took off the old photo of the DA. "Your Uncle Collin took this picture, that's why he's not in it. Dennis is there and your father is with the other Hufflepuffs here."
"Daddy looks a lot younger in this," She smiled. "I have his coin, he gave it to my on a necklace for my first communion. I keep it in my room at his house. He tells me stories during his week, about history and we like to dig old things up during the summer holiday. This is Mommy's week. She and I like to look at things with my microscope." She smiled, as Harry put the picture back, the child got up and glanced around as if she was looking for something. She then finally eyed the picture of the original order, the one given by Sirius years ago, now in a frame on the mantel.
"Is that from the first war?" Orchid asked as Harry nodded. "Which one is my grandpa?"
"What?" Harry asked.
"A lady on the street told me that my grandpa, my Mommy's daddy was in the Order of the Phonix. I know who they were, Daddy told me about them but he didn't know about my grandpa."
"When was this?" Harry asked.
"When Lily was taking us home, some man told us it make since we are friends since her grandfathers were friends. We shrugged and kept going."
Harry shook his head, wishing people knew how to mind there own business. He looked down at Orchid, with her wide blue eyes wanting to know more about her grandfather. For a moment, Harry thought of how much Sirius would have adored his mischievous granddaughter.
"This one, right here," Harry said, pointing to Sirius, she looks over, Sirius turned and smiled at the girl, she smiled back at him.
"Here is the tea and biscuits" Lily came in with May following behind her. Harry smiled, while the girls were drinking tea, Harry went to the black closet to where all the old pictures were filed. He found a box marked 'Sirius', which had the framed photos he once kept in his room. Harry opened the box and found a photograph of Sirius with his arm wrapped around the waist of an elegant blue-eyed, blonde with his arms wrapped around her waist. She was smiling back at him, while seated his motorcycle beside the railing of docks, with a sea gull flying above them. Harry grabbed the picture, figuring it belonged to Carnation more than him.
Harry walked into the kitchen, to see Ginny home.
"Hello, Honey," they greeted with each other with a kiss. "How was work?" Harry asked.
"Busy, went to at least three different games," Ginny answered. "You?"
"Awkward, with Carnation." Harry whispered, keeping in mind Orchid was in hearing distance. Ginny then peaked into the living room to see Orchid and Lily laughing as May entered the kitchen with the empty dishes.
"What did he know?" Ginny finally asked May, as she was helping Ginny unpack groceries along with Harry.
"What do you mean?" May asked, turning back with her hands still in the sink.
"A few days ago you shouted at a women the name of her father, telling us you knew something about someone very important to me." Harry finally said. "I would like some answers."
"I'm sure her more than you," May pointed out "Growing up, Sirius and I had some common ground in having mutual hatred towards the same family. He treated my father horribly, causing me to believe hew as no different from his parents. I am sorry Harry he will always be another Black."
"How did you know Sirius fathered a child?" Harry asked.
"Willburgah knew about her granddaughter, even tried to get custody, magical child should be raised by magical family. I honestly think the only reason she wanted her half-blood granddaughter was because she didn't have anyone else. Luckily, after the war, Moody was transferred to the Auror Department of Family Affairs and started going hard on domestic violence in pureblood families, claimed it was to break the cycle. He eventually founded the first Child Protection Unit among the Aurors."
"I know this," Harry pointed out. "He took a lot of the shamed half-blood orphan from their abusive pureblood guardians and placed them with muggle relatives."
"Anyway, once Sirius and Regulas's medical reports from St. Mungo was released to the Aurors, Willburgah wouldn't have been able to get a cat. The court gave absolute custody to the Marinovas, she tried to break in their house, just wanted to hold her. After that Moody placed a restraining order jinx on their household against the old coo Willburgah sent me to spy. Healthy little girl, well loved and cared for. Eventually Wilburgah got some good sense knocked into her and realized she was better off with them, she made sure Sirius didn't know to protect her from family crazies that try and prune the sweet thing.
"I thought Carnation grew up with her aunt and uncle." Ginny said.
"After the old hag croaked, the family honored her daughter's will. They wanted to make sure that woman was dead before sending her off to her aunt and uncles and don't blame her. Moody put a spell at that house." May went on. "Zinnia found this out after coming across Sirius's wanted poster while taking Carnation and Collin school shopping."
"But why didn't you say anything to Sirius?"
"Because Willabhrgah told me not to and I was terrified of her even after her death. It may seem odd, but when your put under generations of oppression and brainwashing it's hard to overcome with a snap of a finger. My story is not a happy one, like all elves. I try to hide my children from it, but when the world looks at each we are judge on a different scale.
"A free elf isn't free, it's just a subjected of oppression and poverty. Humans are able ride the wind till current ends, but elves stalk down narrow and can seldom see through the walls of our own cages with our wings clipped. We sing of unknown sings, and long for the distant. We know nothing but fear and tierndess. I was separated from my mother young, and growing up she gave more love and affection to your father than your sister and I. In the house Black we were abused, and they abused their children. Orion Black in particular was sadistic, with his children, wives and elves. When he died, from my eyes his wife was no different.
"Did Sirius know?" Harry finally asked. "That is the only answer I want to know? Was he away of his daughter."
"He certainly gave you a lot of attention, the answer is right there." May finally said and left.
"Alright, well, I am still going to offer her this picture at least." Harry suggested, however, Carnation denied it, he wouldn't say anything.
"I'm going to check on Lily and Orchid." Ginny said.
Harry observed the picture, he never thought much of it. Sirius kept it privet and wasn't discovered until years later. He knew it was Sirius with a muggle woman he once loved. He gazed down at the picture of the young couple. Sirius with his arm slung around Marigold, her holding his hand. Once in awhile, he'd kiss her head while her thumb brushed along his large fingers. The two looked at each other and started laughing, it was then the picture slipped out of his hand and smashed onto the floor.
Harry sighed, and went to get the broom and dust pan. He wore gloves, careful not to touch any glass and slid the picture from out under the broken edges. It was then, Harry discovered something hidden beneath the photograph.
It was an old clipping from the Hogwarts school paper, Harry's eyebrow furred in confusion as he unfolded it. There he saw an article of a young Hufflepuff student and her Slytherin companion, before the summer of '96. The two students both hand picked by Dumbledore to represent Hogwarts in the International Young Wizard Science Completion with an experiment the girls designed themselves. The article had a third year Hufflepuff, sat with her microscope, smiling with her acne and bushy hair. Harry's mind went blank, for discovering that Sirius had hidden a picture of his Carnation, his daughter.
