Hey readers! Arctic Fox here! Sorry for the long delay of this chapter guys. With a combination of ACT and a Serious Halo RP server on Gmod, AlteredRP if any of you want to join me, I had no time to write this. Well now I had found time and here it is! I also have another request of you guys. You know the Cover picture of this story? I don't like it. It may be a Shadow Mew, yes, but it is not Ryu. I want to know if any of you guys are good with Photoshop or whatever you use if you can make a picture specific for Shadowed Destiny. I would very much appreciate it and would give you credit for making/ drawing it. Also, I found out that the warning I gave last chapter was not very much needed. I'll remember that for now on. Deep within Tainted land

POV: Ryu

Ryu, Shade, and Espeon have been moving on for a while since they last saw the others. They have been traveling for around a few hours now. They have been trying to avoid as much contact as possible, something that they immediately noticed is a lot easier with only 3 of them, and had made excellent success on that part. As of now, they were traveling along a road when Ryu put his paw up. The other two stopped moving and got down, Shade did at least, besides him. He looked back at them.

"Something is up ahead. Get to cover." He spoke, flying to the side of the road. Shade and Espeon nodded and each went to a different side of the path, the destroyed ground giving Shade perfect cover with her colors but not so much for Espeon. Shade picked up Espeon and surrounded the two in a dome of Shade's aura, making it so no one could see inside without having a powerful aura. Right when they three got into cover, they saw what Ryu detected a little bit ago. It was a group of tainted in a group, talking about something they did. When they got closer, Ryu and his group could hear them.

"What are we going to do with him?" One of the Tainted said, looking to his other comrade, a Flareon.

"I don't know. I think Shadowstorm is going to use his power to completely tainted every Pokemon on the planet." This got Ryu and his group very worried for their friends safety.

"Well. Whatever they do with him, Dialga will become tainted." By the time they said this, they were already out of hearing range. Ryu, Shade, and Espeon came out of their hiding spots and looked at each other, concern in each of their eyes. "That does not sound good." Shade said, looking down the way the group went. Espeon looked very nervous herself as that meant that she would become a Tainted soon if they did not stop them. She looked at Ryu.

"I don't want to be Tainted...we need to stop them and save Dialga!" Espeon said, hoping that he would help her. Ryu nodded and turned to Shade.

"Let's go. We got to help Dialga!" Ryu said, looking between the two of them. They nodded and walked forward slowly, going to follow the two Taints they found, hoping that they would be going in the direction of where Dialga was captured.

Deeper in the Tainted ground

POV: Ryu

Ryu and his group had followed the two tainted for a little while, still hoping that the two would lead them to Dialga. They did have to just to cover every now and again as the two would turn around and look at their surrounds, mainly out of protocol. Ryu and his friends took advantage of a flaw in the mind. That someone would only see what they expected to see. They never noticed how trees and grass were getting slightly ruffled as Ryu, Shade, an Espeon would jump to cover. They never saw this as they never expected it to happen. Eventually, the two tainted did lead them to Dialga. Once Ryu and his group saw the Legend of Time, they left the two unsuspecting Taints alone and went to observe the Legend. They were definitely shocked at the situation he was in. He was being changed down, weakened by some unknown force, and was slowly being tainted. He was trying to fight it but his mind was slipping. Seeing this, Ryu and his group moved in to help, making sure to stay out of sight. Ryu took command of the group as he usually does. He signaled for Espeon to wait to engage until the Tainted started to fight back. Ryu and Shade then went in separate directions, using cover to their advantage and staying out of sight.

POV: Ryu

Ryu went left while Shade went right. He made himself go invisible and floated around, looking for a Taint that was out in the open. Finding one, he went down next to it and put his paw over its mouth, pulling it back. The Tainted Weavile struggled as Ryu pulled it back to the tress, its eyes wide. Once Ryu dragged it into the trees, he formed a Shadow Claw and impaled it. It slowly stopped struggling before finally still. Ryu dropped the body, canceling the shadow claw as the body started to dissolve. Even though he did this before, it still upset him every time he had to kill one. He shook his head and continued on.

After a while of fighting, Ryu and friends managed to silently take out the Tainted. They never suspected anything. As of now, the group was standing in front of Dialga with concern in their eyes. Dialga was still slowly getting Tainted and he was losing. The Time Pokémon looked down at his saviors. He saw one of them was Ryu and then realized what he could do to save the world.

"I AM...THANKFUL FOR YOUR HELP...BUT IT IS TOO...LATE. I HAVE ALREADY...BEEN INFECTED." Ryu and his group looked down, their efforts in vain. Dialga saw this and sighed before he continued.

"DO NOT WORRY...I HAVE A...PLAN." Ryu and his group looked up in curiosity, listening for what this plan could be.

"I SHALL SEND YOU...FORWARD IN TIME. THAT SHOULD...LET YOU HELP ANY...RESISTANCE. GOOD LUCK RYU. THE WORLD IS...COUNTING ON YOU." With that, Dialga roared as Ryu's, Shade's, and Espeon's vision changed to white.

Unknown Time

Same Location

POV: Ryu

As Ryu's and the groups visions returned to normal, they gasped. Around them, the entire forest was replaced with a destroyed, ruined replacement. Tress are just dead husks. The water is gone. Even the very ground they are standing/floating on is trashed.

While they were standing in shock, a voice rang through Ryu's head. Arceus' voice.

'RYU! Where have you been!? You vanished over a year ago!' Ryu gasped mentally and responded.

'Dialga sent us forward in time to try to help! What happened to Earth?!'

'The Taint happened. It spread across the entire planet. It's only Mewtwo and I left. Excluding you and your friends. Get up to the Hall of Origins! Now!'

'On the way!' Ryu responded before he looked over his shoulder at his friends.

"We are needed in the Hall of Origins. Let's go!" Ryu said, opening a portal. Shade and Espeon nodded before running inside, Ryu going last as the portal closed behind him.

Hall of Origins

POV: Ryu

When they arrived, Ryu found Shade and Espeon looking around in awe and wonder. He shook his head and grabbed them with his paws, one in each, and pulled them along.

"We don't have time to just stand around! Let's go!" He yelled. Eventually, they caught up and started running along side him. Ryu had to lead them through the Hall as he was the only one with experiance of the lay-out. He first went to the meeting room but didn't find anything. He then went to the location where combat practice was, a huge open field, and found the two survivors. He flew to them.

"What do you need?" He asked, getting the attention of the two. Arceus spoke first.

"I fear that the Taint will soon find a way into the Hall. I locked it off to every Legendary that fell but I fear they will get around it. Every lock has a key. You just have to find it." Ryu nodded and looked at Mewtwo.

"How come you aren't infected?" Ryu asked. Mewtwo looked at Ryu and smiled weakly.

"I guess the Taint doesn't effect non-natural Pokémon. You and the Lucario" Shade looked up at when she heard she was being talked about "are Shadow Pokémon which was made by humans. I am the same." Ryu nodded and was about to respond when a huge, dark feeling fell on the 5 of them. Arceus visible stiffened and looked out towards the combat area. He said one phrase that sent fear into their very souls.

"They are here."

Soon, a pure black portal, as dark as Ryu's fur, appeared, as big as a entire building. Soon, rows apon rows of Taint walked out, with Shadowstorm in front. There was so many. Thousands if not millions of them. Eventually, every single legendary came out, each and every one Tainted. Eventually, there was so many, they began to circle the 5 survivors. The survivors went back-to-back looking at them all. Shadowstorm looked at Ryu and laughed darkly.

"Ah. Nice of you to join us Ryu. I was hoping you would be here." Ryu looked shocked that he knew his name.

"How do you know my name?!" Ryu yelled. Shadowstorm laughed again, his laugh full of pure evil that made the survivors shake.

"It was simple easily. One of my top commanders told me." Ryu looked confused.

"Who told you?" Ryu asked. Shadowstorm simply laughed and yelled out.

"Commanders! Front and center!" Soon, 5 Pokémon appeared. When he saw them, Ryu's heart stopped as he fell to his knees. The other survivors saw them and felt pity for the Shadow Mew.

"No..." Standing in front were a Tainted Female Pikachu, a Tainted Umbreon, a Tainted Ninetails, and a Tainted Flygon. However, these were not what made Ryu upset. Standing in front of the others. Was a Lucario. This was not a normal Lucario, however. This Lucario had white fur.

"Winter..."
