Chapter 36: Pitch Invades the Airwaves!

Jack POV

I woke up in my bed. A wet towel on my forehead. I must have passed out. But for how long?

"W-What happened?" I mumbled to myself. I rubbed my eyelids and template. My memory was blurry at first. But then my memory comes back in a flash. Pitch! He took my beloved Elsa away from me! "Oh no! Elsa!" I shouted.

"Jack?" Shouted Tooth from the living room. At that moment Tooth flew into my room. "Oh my god! You're awake!" She screeched in tears and hugged me tightly.

"Tooth! Elsa, she-!"

"I know." She nodded and frowned. "Pitch was gone by the time you became unconscious."

"How long?"

"An hour."

"An hour!?" I couldn't believe it. But it didn't matter at the moment. "Whatever. I have to save Elsa now!" I jump out of bed, but I cringe in pain.

"No! Not just yet, young man!" She grabbed me by the waist. "You're still recovering! Get back into bed this instant!" She motherly scolded me.

"I don't have time!" I yelled back at her. "Pitch is out there doing God knows what, and you expect me to sit!?" Tooth looked at me with fright. I suddenly calmed down and realized what I had done. "I-I sorry. It's just that…" I started to develop tears in my eyes. "Oh God! Elsa!" I start to cry. Tooth knelt down beside me and held me close.

"Oh, honey." She frowned. She two started to get teary-eyed. We were both in pain. All of us. Needless to say I did see Bunny, Sandy, Olaf, Kristoff and Anna came in to my room. Their faces filled with sorrow and regret.

Normal POV

North and Heart continued their pointless battle. Heart shot many arrows at North, But North just deflected them all. Heart's arrows in this case were ones that can temporarily reduce one's strength. North could tell Heart was serious in trying to save Jack and stopping Pitch. But his methods were all wrong. After awhile the two Guardians stop, catching their breath.

"Heart…" North spoke. "…why can't you see that Pitch is using your fears?" He tried to get through to him.

"Poppycock!" He snarled. "I am immune to Pitch's influence! It is you who has been used by Pitch all this time!" There was no doubt about it. Heart became more than a paranoid wreck. He became delirious and insane.

"Heart! I understand your motives! You care for Jack! You care for all of us, like a family! And the humans, you see them as your children! We all do!" North explained in a compelling and sympathetic tone. "But you've become to wrapped up in fear to understand the relationship between a human and a spirit! Please try to understand!"

"Shut up!" Heart shout. "You have no idea how I feel! Manny chose me to be a guardian of love to help people have courage and strength to get through any darkness and to fall in love with the one they love most!"

"I know, and I respect you for that!" North agreed. "But why do all this? Why include focusing on the opposite? I understand balance and all, but this is now becoming an obsession!"

"You wanna know why? Ever since Jack came to my office on his first day, I noticed him regaining his humanity! At that very moment, the memories of Night light and Elsa's past life came surging through my mind! I decided I would put an end to it and have Guardians cut all ties with humans that they fell in love with!" Heart explained. "Don't you see!? If Guardians become human again, Pitch will take advantage of that and will ultimately be victorious! Is that what you want!?" He shouted and North. North felt an aching pain in his belly.

"I do understand." North frowned in sadness. "I know the feeling."

"NO YOU DON"T!" He shouted. North went wide-eyed in shock. "You have no idea! You don't know what it's like to lose a fellow Guardian! Watching them die!" Heart explained, while also in tears. He was broken now. He was so sad and the tears didn't stop.

"Yes I do." North simply said. "When we lost Sandy I was torn up inside. I felt like there was nothing we could do to stop Pitch. But I kept going. Because I still believed." North explained. "And soon Sandy came back to life. And do you know why?" Heart looked up at him with tears still rolling down his face. "Because of Jack." North smiled. There was a moment of silence between them. North kept smiling down at his friend, while Heart stared back at North, with tears still rolling down his face. Suddenly they hear faint screams in the distance. "What?"

Meanwhile at Avenue of the Americans destruction was taking place. People panicked and screamed as they fled from a massive army of Nightmares and Fearlings. Pitch, mounted on his steed, led the attack. How is this possible? Around his neck is a Moons Stone necklace, but it was dark. He made his own Moon Stone called a Black Moon Stone. This Moon Stone was able to not only make a mythical creature visible but also show their true forms. Also absorbing fear. From right and left Nightmares and Fearlings were killing innocent people. Men, Women, and even children. It was those grotesque and horrifying thing ever scene and their fear only made the Nightmares and Fearlings stronger. They reached BBC Worldwide as they busted through the doors. Two-lady attendance at the front desk screamed in horror as Pitch slowing approached them on his steed. The two ladies quivered in fear at the site of the boogeyman.

"Would there be special cameras that are currently broadcasting live to a worldwide audience?" He asked in his low slithery voice.

"T-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-top f-floor. The main studio. You should try there." She pointed upward while quivering in fear. Her friend and partner held her close as she too quivered in fear.

"Excellent. Thanks for the help." He smirked. He snapped his fingers and his steed turned into a sand cloud. It lifted him up into the air while also drilling the ceiling. The other Nightmares and Fearlings set up a perimeter around the building.

The cops instantly came rushing into the scene. They too set up a perimeter around the building. Their guns pointed directly at the creatures.

"This is the police! We have the building completely surrounded! Put down your weapons at come out with your hands up!" Shouted the chief through a megaphone. Unfortunately their warning fell on deaf ears. One of the Nightmares dissolved into a sand cloud and flew into a cop car and making it explode. People screamed in terror at the destructive site. "Open Fire!" The chief shouts. On his order the police force opens fire on the Nightmares and Fearlings. But they didn't faze them. After the gunfire ceases, the police stare in disbelief. The Nightmares and Fearlings then attacked the police. They killed them. Ripped them apart, devoured them, consumed them. Their cries of pain and agony echoed through out the avenues. The people screamed in fear and panic.

Back inside the BBC building, Pitch drilled holes from the ceiling going up from floor to floor. Causing panic on each floor. The people and employees screams of fear was music to Pitch and his Nightmare and Fealring army's ears. People currently watching their TV's from across the world became scared themselves. The entire world was watching Pitch invade a broadcasting building and their fear was making the Nightmares and Fearlings stronger. Finally after terrorizing the BBC building and of course the entire world, Pitch made his way to the top floor.

"You're not the adaptor back up!" Screamed the news announcer in fear. "You are you!" But he was interrupted by Pitch grabbing his neck and raising him in the air.

"Is this or isn't it the top floor studio?" Pitch glared at him. The entire room was in a speechless quivering panic. Pitch dropped the man on the ground.

"Yes it is!" He screeched in fear. "Somebody get security in here!" He shouted in panic. But Pitch just made a black sand needle and stabbed the guy in one fell stroke, killing him. Everyone in the top floor screamed in terror. Even the people watching the TV. There were no commercial breaks, though most of the views turned off the TV's. Pitch then turned towards the cameras and smiled sinisterly. Pitch then came forward towards the camera men and the crew. He stared directly at the cameras with wide smirk.

"Don't touch that dial. We'll be right back." He chuckled. He snapped his figures and instantly Nightmares and Fearlings came rushing in and steeling the cameras. Everyone was in a panic. When they all got what they needed they left the room and building too. Pitch fallowed close behind.

At the empire state building the Nightmares and Fearlings set up a perimeter around the large towering building. The people didn't get near them, they were willing to keep their distance.

At the top floor Pitch walked through the hall ways past a few Nightmares and Fearlings janitorial staff cleaning up the building of all dead bodies. They killed every single employee, citizen, and tourist in the building. Children too. Everyone was dead, all except for Patrick St. Lucky, who was captured pretty easily.

"Pitch! You murderous bastard! They were just innocent bystanders!" Lucky shouted at him. Pitch just shrugged it off.

"Your point?" He smirked. "Oh and don't worry, I have no interest in your gold."

"Really? A Irish mythology tradition joke at a time like this!" Lucky snarled. He maybe a leprechaun but even he could tell the difference between a joke and seriousness.

"Can't blame me for trying." He chuckled. "Oh and besides, there's not going to be gold at the end of the rainbow." He then turned to the imprisoned and unconscious Elsa. "Just wait my dear. Today we are about to make our debut."

Jack POV

We all sat in the living room watching the television for anything. Bunny was flipping through the channels. But then…

"Wait! Go back a few!" I noticed. Bunny did that and stopped at the news report. "Turn up the volume." I said.

"I am Sheryl. We're here at the BBC building were an unknown terrorist attack took place. This attack killed estimated up to 500 people, including the state police. Eye witnesses say that they saw black creatures that invaded the BBC building. They stole special cameras that can broadcast live worldwide then flew to the Empire state building." She explained. "Let's go to you Ed." The screen switches to someone else. They display the Empire State Building.

"Thank you Sheryl. We're here in front of the empire state building. Were we see what the eye witnesses described. As you can see these things are the black creatures they described to us."He explained pointing to the Nightmares and Fearlings surrounding the empire state building. We all gasped in fear of this.

"Pitch!" I snarled. Anna closed in close to Kristoff as he brought her closer in to him. They were scared.

"Oh Elsa." Anna went teary eyed. "My big sister." Kristoff held her close to comfort her. Then there was a knock at the door.

"That might be them." Tooth said scurrying to the door. She opened it and to our surprise it was Elsa and Anna's parents, Kai and Gerda. Well new parents technically. "Mr. and Mrs. Arendelle. Please come in." Of course we were wearing our necklaces, so of course they can see us.

"Where are they?" Gerda frantically looked around.

"Mom!" Anna squealed and ran to her.

"Oh Anna!" Gerda embraced her youngest daughter.

"What are you two doing here?"

"Jack's mother called us over." Kai said who also hugged her. He then turned to Pabbie. "Dr. Pabbie?"

"It's good to see you again my friends." Pabbie smiled. "I asked Jack's mother to call you here." Kai then turned to Kristoff and me.

"Where is she? Where's Elsa?" He looked worried and mad. But before I could say anything the lights flicker on and off, violently. We all looked out the window to see the entire city was on the fritz. "What's going on?"

"Guys, look!" Bunny said pointing to the TV. It was displaying a red 'P'. That could only mean one thing.

Normal POV

The Nightmares and Fearlings set up the cameras. Pitch stared into the giant Moon Stone housed int the middle of the room. With him were a group of people shrouded in hoods.

"Are you ready my friends?" He expanded his arms to them.

"We are." They all said in unison.

"Then let the show begin." He smirked turning to the cameras.

Instantly every TV around the world was hacked and broadcasting Pitch.

"Good evening, people of the world."He announced himself. Every single person on the planet was watching Pitch right now. "We interrupt this broadcast to give you special news bulletin. That is to say 'I' interrupt this broadcast." He smirked widely. "My name good people, is Pitch Black. And whether or not you're aware, you are familiar with me. Given of course you've been following the news about some ruthless black creatures stalking your cities for fresh victims. I am of course the Bogyman himself and I would like to take a moment to thank the human race for it's generous donations of fear. THAT and to ensure everyone that I've reached my quota." He explained in his announcement. "But let's move on. The people you see standing behind me are my followers. We are known as The Dominion! An organization of absolute darkness and chaos. As you can see we're now making ourselves known to the world. But the reason why we are here is to enlighten you on a little secret of the world we live in." He then turns to the Moon Stone. "This here is a Moon Stone. It is the very thing that creates a mystic barrier to conceal all mythical creatures from mythology to folklore. And if you still do not believe then let me show you the truth." He placed his hand on the giant Moon Stone and invoked his magic on it. The stone instantly went dark, becoming a Black Moon Stone. From steeple of the building a dark aurora waved all across Manhattan and instantly across the world.

Jack POV

The dark aurora spread quickly. Suddenly we all felt strange and different.

"What's happening?" Tooth wondered.

"Oi look!" Bunny pointed to our Moon Necklaces. We looked at them and they started to flicker. Then the flickering went faster. Until finally they shattered into pieces, like a firecracker. "Crikey!" Bunny jumped. After that jumpy display something else happened instantly.

"What the hell was that about?" I said. I look out and she the Arendelles staring at me with shock, except for Anna and Kristoff because she looked confused in awe. "What? What?"

"Um, Jack." Anna spoke up. "You guys might wanna look in a mirror."

"Why?" But then I turned to Tooth, Sandy and Bunny. Even Pabbie. They were all in their guardian forms. I felt confused at first, but looked at in the living room mirror and saw that I was too. I then turned to the Arendelles and then back to the mirror. I did this a few more times until it hut me. "Y-You guys can see us?" I stare in shock.

Normal POV

Much like what happened to the guardians, the dark aurora affected every single mythical creature that was disguised as a human or invisible to the naked eye. Their Moon Stones shattered like glass and painfully reverted to their original forms. Some that were invisible suddenly became visible. Even North and Heart were affected by this.

"What in the world!" North gasped. Even though he didn't require a Moon Stone necklace he still felt affected by it. He turned to Heart and almost gasped in surprise.

Heart was now in his Guardian form. He was still in his human size but he had angelic wings on his back. He looked more like an angel than a cupid.

"What is it, North?" Heart asked in his Italian accent.

"You… you're in your Guardian form." North stared in shock.

"What?" Heart was confused. But then he felt a little weight on his back. He looked both sides of him. North was right. "H-How… How can this be happening?" North didn't know either. But he then turned to the Empire State Building where the dark aurora came from.

"Pitch!" He snarled.

The instant all mythical creatures reverted to the their original forms and/or became visible, worldwide, people began to panic in fear. Their screams echoed throughout each nation. All news programs were flooding with stock footage of this out break. But this fear only added the final part in Pitch's plan.

"As you can see good people I wasn't lying."Pitch continued to stare into the camera. Now comes the part where he breaks all of humanity's spirits. "These creatures live amongst you as equals. But unfortunately you don't see that. Both physically and metaphorically. You don't see them as civilized beings, you view them as monsters. You view US as monsters! Anything you don't understand or is not human, you try to destroy. Because you think it doesn't belong. But just like in Marry Shelly's Frankenstein, YOU make US as monsters just to give you an excuse to try and kill us. Well if you want monsters, you have them. You know what they say. Got to give the people what they want." He snaps his fingers.

In Paris, France a large wave of black sand consumes the Eiffel tower. All of Paris was in a state of panic despite watching Pitch's broadcast. The sands caused the tower to crumble and fall. Destroying blocks of houses and killing thousands. The entire world was in complete shock, panic, and fear.

"Our attacks will continue, unless you submit to our demands!" He glared. "And don't bother sending in the military to stop us. You've already seen what we can do and what we are capable of. Of course the government is free try and nuking us, but that won't do either because conventional weapons have no effect on us. I now hold the entire world as my hostage and shortly after it will be mine to control. You're homes will not be safe, your schools will not be safe, your governments will not be safe, YOU will not be safe!" He snarled. But then he changed to a smirk. "And to my fellow creatures. As you can see humanity will not accept you. So I give you a choice. Join us or stay out of our way. Fallow me, or meet your fate."

Jack POV

All of us watched Pitch's announcement in great horror. I then looked around the background from the screen. Then I found what I was looking for. Elsa and Lucky were tied up tight.

"Look!" I pointed to the corner. "Elsa!"

"Elsa?" Anna stared frantically looked. She too found her. "It is her!"

"Oh my god!" Gerda stared in horror and dismay. Tears rolling down her cheeks.

"What does that monster want with her!?" Kai stared in complete sadness and anger.

"So enclosing I herby take the world by storm. I urge all the governments and people of the world to consider my demands."He then snapped his fingers again. Showing the world Big Ben. It too got destroyed by the black sand and caused people to panic. "Unless you got better things to do." He chuckled. He ended the broadcast. We were all in shock.

"I can hardly believe what I just saw!" Pabbie stared in shock.

"The whole world is at stake!?" Kristoof too was in disbelief.

This was bad. A dark cloud has suddenly been cast over an unsuspecting planet Earth. The relative calm and daily life has been replaced by fear and panic. As it was clear to anyone who witnessed Pitch's live announcement that no army in the world would be capable of defending against this menace.

Chapter 36 is done. HOLY SHIT! PITCH HAS TAKEN OVER THE WORLD! THAT'S IT, GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER! Read it, review it, and tell me what you people think. This is just here for people to enjoy. :)
