Ace managed to fight his way through the wave of Order members, leaving a sea of lifeless corpses in his wake. With each swing of his sword he felt his anger rise and his patience lessen.

" Sabo," He said catching his brother's attention, " get behind me."

The blonde teen didn't hesitate or even bother to question but quickly managed to get behind his brother just as a ball of fire erupted from Ace. He felt an evil smirk appear on his face as the Order members ran for their lives.

He wanted nothing more than to chase them and use their bodies as human candles but he had something vastly more important to do.

Ai

He needed to find his Bride.

He needed to see her face.

To have her safe with him once again.

To hold her in his arms and to never let her go.

" If I were you Fire Fist, I'd hurry along down that stairwell there." A calm baritone voice said from his right. The fire prince looked over to see a a teen boy with short black hair and black eyes. Tattoos littered his exposed arms, his fingernails were painted black. On his chin was a small goatee bored face as he sat atop a large marbled statue.

" Law…" Sabo said calmly, acknowledging the Fae. " Why are you just hanging around? Shouldn't you be off fighting?"

" You're always focus on the oddest things, Sabo." Law smirked down at the two.

" Why do you want us to go down those stairs?" The blonde asked cautiously.

" Only because there is a certain blue haired princess locked away there in dire need of rescuing!" Law said noticing how Ace took a sudden step towards the stairs before Sabo grabbed his arm.

" How can we trust what you say is true?" The blonde asked.

" Why would I lie about a little damsel in distress?"

" You would lie for any number of reasons…if they led you to your goal."

" Well, I can assure your that she is down there in need of rescuing from a certain bitch and her monstrously ugly cat."

The Fae's words caused terror to surge through Ace, sending him practically flying towards the stairs.

" ACE!"

He barely registered his brother's shout as he continued. As he went he knew the Death Fae's words were true.

The farther he went the stronger his Bride's scent…along with the scent of blood. He all but leapt from the final ten steps and rushed down the hallway.

" AI!" He yelled rounding the corner towards a cell where her scent filled his head.

The sight before him caused his blood to run cold. Ai lay in a crumpled heap on the cell floor, her blood splattered everywhere.

Her lips currently matching her hair.

Her abdomen ripped open.

" NO!"

Ace hadn't even realized that he was moving as he was suddenly beside his small Bride, cradling her close to him. He bite deep into his wrist and pressed it to her cold lips. When she hadn't began to drink his heart shattered.

" AI! NO!"

He barely registered the break in his voice as he cradled her cold body against him. Tears pricked his eyes as he cupped her blood smeared cheek gently in his hand.

" No, dears gods, no!" Ace muttered placing his forehead to hers. " Ai please, wake up! Please!" He whimpered. " Wake up! Talk to me, please! Yell at me! Call me a bastard or a jackass! ANYTHING!" He sobbed desperately.

She couldn't be gone!

She couldn't be!

" Ai…NO!" He sobbed painfully. " Please no!" He gripped her tightly against him while he continued to sob.

He failed.

He failed the one person he loved most in this world.

She had given him her heart and soul and he had failed to keep her safe. He barely registered his brother's presence in the cell…or his supportive hand on his shoulder.

" Please gods…take me! She doesn't deserve this!"

Sabo felt his heart break as he watched his brother crumble into pieces…cradling Ai's broken body to him.

He couldn't imagine the pain his brother felt as this moment.

Ace had fought hard to rescue Ai all to have it destroyed. He had finally found happiness with him only to have it taken instantly from him.

It wasn't fair.

Ai was such a kind person.

She was the best person in the world to curve Ace's anger. She was the calm for his ever raging storm.

And now

now she was gone.

Gods only knew what kind of armageddon Ace would unleash upon the world now that she was gone. Now that she was ripped away from him.

Ai spun around in the darkness that surrounded her. " No…" She whispered softly as her fear began to seep into her very being. " What's going on! ACE!"

Panic now mingled with the fear inside her.

She hated the darkness.

More than anything she feared it.

" Ace…" She whimpered, tears now filling her eyes. Cold began to envelope her. Her eyes darted back and forth, searching for the person that made her whole.

The sole person who knew her past…knew her pain…knew all her fears…and still loved her.

Still cherished her over all things in this world.

The one person who made her feel safe and whole.

Ace…

She had to find him!

She needed to find him!

Her was her everything!

" Ace…"

" I'm sorry…"

Ai whirled on her heel to see a purple haired teenaged girl with golden eyes standing behind her. She seemed so familiar but Ai couldn't put a finger on it.

" I'm so sorry!" The girl whimpered as tears filled her eyes. " I-"

" Bedisa…" Ai said realizing that this girl was the Embodiment of Fate.

" I'm so sorry, Una!" The girl cried, trying her best to keep her eyes locked on Ai. " This is all my fault!"

" Stop." Ai said softly walking towards the girl.

" It's true!" Bedisa sobbed. " I did this to you both! To you and my brother!"

Ai reached up and cupped the girl's cheek, whipping the tears away as she watched the girl. She knew for a fact that the girl was being honest. She meant every word of what she spoke.

" First off, this wasn't your fault." Ai said comfortingly. " You had only done what your mother and father asked of you. You thought what you were doing was the best thing for your brother."

" He hates me!" Bedisa sobbed.

" I'm sure he doesn't hate you." Ai said trying her best to reassure her. From what Aviur had shown her he did love his little sister. They had a wonderful sibling bond. One that was similar to how things were with Ai and her own brothers.

Bedisa had worshipped the very ground her brother walked on. Aviur adored his baby sister. He cherished her as a good and loving brother should.

Yet he had been hurt that his family had tried to manipulate him the way they had. He had lashed out in anger and hurt Bedisa, who was just a pawn used by their parents.

" Shhh, little miss." Ai whispered rocking the girl gently in her arms. " There, there. Just breath."

" Una," Bedisa whimpered sadly. " Why are you consoling me now? After all these millennia, we've met every time…and after every death you've never once spoke to me."

" It's simple, I'm not Una." Ai said calmly. " I may be her reincarnation but we are not the same person."

Bedisa looked at her in confusion. " I'm not Una just like Ace isn't Aviur. It might be hard for someone like you, who has lived for millennia, but not every incarnation is the same. Something in each's life will cause some kind of change in the person's personality. Giving them something that makes them unique…like a fingerprint."

" I still don't understand why you're being so nice to me…"

" Because I know that you didn't mean for this to happen. You love your brother, all your siblings really. You love your parents…you try to please everyone you come in contact with. You want to make them happy. You wanted to do what you could to save your big brother from that evil heifer bitch." Ai said softly. " If I had the power that you do then I'd use it to save those I love as well."

" Your brother doesn't hate you like mine does though."

" One of my brothers had sold me as a blood whore to earn money." Ai said calmly. " If that isn't hate then I don't know what is."

Besida sniffled weakly as she whipped her eye sadly. " I guess I should take you now…"

" Take me where?" Ai asked cautiously.

" To the next timeline when you'll be reborn." Besida said calmly, standing and straightening her clothing.

" I'm sorry, what?"

" You died…you'll be reborn again and maybe that will be when you and Aviur can be together."

" I'm sorry…but no."

" What?" Bedisa blinking in confusion.

" I'm not going with you, Bedisa." Ai said calmly. " I'm not going to lay down and take it. Thana's not getting away with this bullshit anymore."

" But you died-"

" And I'm going to find a way to kick that bitch's ass." Ai snapped standing suddenly and brushing herself off.

" But-"

" She's hurt enough people over these years and I'm putting a stop to it now! She fucked with the wrong girl. She took my babies and I'm not going to stand by and let her hurt them. I'm their mother and Thana's never met someone raised by Whitebeard."

CLAP!

CLAP!

CLAP!

The girls jumped at a sudden clapping from behind them. They looked behind them to see a beautiful young woman with snow white skin and hair blacker than the darkest night sky. Her crystal blue eyes dance with excitement as her blood red lips were pulled into a mischievous smile.

" Mama!"

" Hello baby," the woman said lovingly pulling the girl to her in a protective hug.

" Mama, what are you doing here?" Bedisa asked worriedly.

" I came to see what all the fuss was about Una's most recent incarnation." Chaos said calmly, her eyes never moving from Ai.

" And?" Ai asked, her gaze matching the embodiment of chaos.

" It would seem the reports I received were correct. You are different." Chaos said calmly. " You are the one who has the best chance in stopping Thana."

" She took my babies." Ai stated firmly. " That bitch is done."

" And how do you plan on getting back in your body to end her?" Chaos asked, causing the blunette to pause and consider her question.

" I'm assuming that that is the reason you're here. To help me with that."

" My, you are a brave one." Chaos said smirking at the blunette. " Very different than Una was." The black haired woman walked calmly towards Ai, each step a wave of power and confidence wafted from her. " I like that."

It was then that Ai noticed that Chaos was wrapped in a deep green cloak, her arms concealed underneath it. Chaos laughed when she saw Ai take a cautious step backwards from her.

" Relax child, if I wanted you harmed you would already be gone."

Shrugging the fabric off the woman revealed a small red haired baby girl with shimmering emerald eyes.

" Asha?" Bedisa said curiously, tip-toeing to see the baby. " Why did you bring her, Mama?"

" My daughter, Asha, she is the embodiment of Life." Chaos said addressing Ai directly. " She has the ability of restoring you to your body."

" Really? She's so small for someone with so much power."

" Many people would say the same about you." Chaos stated cooly. " However, this is only one of her forms. Her forms depend of her ever fluctuating powers. At the moment, the backlash of your death along with that of the war the order has started has caused her to revert to her infant stage."

" I did this to her?"

" You inadvertently played a role in it, yes." Chaos said lifting her free hand and summoning several young women of various shades of blue hair.

" Who-"

" Your previous lives."

" Why are they here?"

" For you to come to an agreement. You wish to fight Thana and end this ever shifting battle. You may need their help in this."

" Their help?" Ai said, raising an eyebrow.

" Each have encountered Thana and each has had a different experience of their own." Chaos said. " They all are able to give you something to that may aide you in your fight."

" A-Alright…" Ai said turning to look at the women. It was odd for her looking at them, each one so similar that they could have been her twin. " What do you ladies have to tell me?"

" Ace…we need to get out of here."

Ace wanted to tell his brother to piss off. All he wanted to do right now was to hold Ai and never let go of her.

He didn't want to believe that she was gone.

She couldn't be.

Just yesterday morning she had been smiling up at him. Slightly irritated that their son had been so active that she hadn't slept that much.

Now both of them were gone.

He didn't know what to do.

He couldn't leave her here but he had to find their son. Ai would haunt him if their child were harmed.

Another wave of pain surged through him at the decision he needed to make. " Ai…" He whispered, his voice breaking slightly. He pulled her tighter against him, burying his face once more into her soft blue locks. " I'm sorry." He sobbed harder.

" You're so loud in the morning."

Ace thought his heart stopped at the soft female voice he thought he'd never hear again. His entire body froze, not sure if he had been imagining it or not. Not sure if the Order had an individual capable of imitating a persons voice.

" Ace..." Sabo said, his voice sounded as if he was in shock.

" A-Ai…?" Ace said fearfully before pulling back to see her seafoam green eyes begin to flicker open weakly. " AI!"

" That's my name, doofus." She smiled up at him.
