Chapter thirty – three -

As the days flew by, Em got bigger. The boys had almost recovered. The distance between Sam and Emily grew wider, and Leah and Sam's relationship worsened.

"I finally figured out how the imprint works. It's not good," I told Jake over the phone.
"You mean?"
"If my guess is correct, we are bound together by violin strings. Once we break those strings, we'll become normal people, or so I hope."
"What do you mean?" he asked
"Only time will tell,"

I had to attend the college in the vicinity, because that was the only way to stay with Jake and Dad. My mother was not thrilled, but she was happy that I was moving on in life. Carlisle sent me a letter before leave.

Dear Bella,
I checked whatever you requested. The baby may change if vampires continue to be around. However, I will heed to your silent, unspoken request, I will take Edward and everyone else to another place. We won't return. I promise. Especially Edward. We'll stay in Alaska for a while. Call me if you need anything.

Love,
Carlisle

I sighed. Rose told me that he was still moping around, I rolled my eyes. He has to get over me. I did not want him around.

Alice kept calling me. I ignored her. I found her overbearing and did ever like her?

Rose called surprisingly.

'Your sister has been bugging me,'

'I know. She's coming to see you and Charlie with jasper.'

'She never learns. Just like her brother.'
And sure enough, the couple arrived. I had given Charlie a heads up, and he welcomed the couple. "Hi, what brings you two here?" he asked. " Well, it's about my brother." began Alice. "He really is depressed over Bella." Charlie sighed. "There's nothing I can do. Bella and Jake love each other. I'm pretty sure they'll get married in a few years. I cannot allow your brother to hurt her," Dad declared.

"Charlie, let Bella meet Edward once," pleaded Alice. "No, I have a boyfriend. I'm not meeting with him. Ever." I declared. "Unless you want Jake to kill your brother," I added.

"How can you be so heartless?" Alice demanded. I burst out laughing, and I saw Jake at the vestibule of my house. He was soaking wet. He was panting.

"That's rich coming from you," I said. I narrowed my gaze at jasper. "I know what you're trying to do, you piece of shit," I stated through my expression. "Your brother dumped me because of what your husband did to me," I growled. "Should we take a walk down memory lane?" I mocked. Jake walked in, startling Charlie. "Perfect timing," I voiced. I tossed Jake the towel.

"Your boyfriend almost killed me on my birthday," I stated, earning gasps from Charlie and Jake stopped drying himself. Jasper could no longer control my emotions. "Would you like to tell my father, the chief of police about what you did to me?" I asked him. "Bella, I swear I really didn't mean to hurt you," apologised Jasper. "What did you do to my daughter?" demanded Charlie, standing up. Jake grabbed Jasper's collar. "What did you do to Bella you leech?" he demanded.

Jasper tried to break free. "Fuck you," Jake spat. "I accidentally attacked Bella," Jasper replied, flustered. Jake let go, and Jasper steadied himself. "As I was saying, your boyfriend attacked me, then your brother left because he was ashamed. He didn't contact me. Neither did you. Foe months! And I moved on. That's what humans do, you dumb bitch," I snapped.
"It was my fault for welcoming you back when you returned. Jake was right. You are the enemy. Listen you feckless cunt, unless you want me to file a complaint with my Dad, you'll disappear with your family. Or else, I'll expose your demon of a husband," I hissed at Alice.

Within a second, Jake punched Jasper's face and I glared at Alice. "Get out," I ordered. Jake punched Jasper again, and dragged him out of my house, while Alice followed, protesting. Jake pushed Jasper out of the house, and he landed on the floor. Alice helped him up. Very realistic my dear vamps.

"And stay out." I bellowed. Jake slammed the door on them.
