Okay so before I begin this chapter I wanted to thank all of you readers who understood why I haven't posted in a while. It may seem like a strange thing to thank but honestly there was another story of mine that I updated and a few people were being rude and told me I should hurry up and focus more on fanfiction. Anyway in no way am I saying those guys are bad I'm just saying thank you guys for understanding when I have a problem. Like I said earlier I have a life outside of this and it's just a hobby but a hobby I love doing so again thanks to everyone for not getting mad. Anyway I hope you all like this chapter, please leave a review because I would really appreciate it and let's get started.
Chapter 36 Sora's Awakening
"So you're seriously all okay and alive." Riku said poking Xion a few times still unconvinced if she was the real thing.
After Roxas had met up once again with his sister, he and Xion both left and went to see Riku and Hogosha. Yet Riku had a hard time believing that Xion was the real thing.
"I already told you I'm real. And Riku cut that out it's annoying." Xion said growing annoyed.
"Okay then if you insist I suppose I'll believe you. But still to be safe I'll be watching you." Riku said nodding casually.
"Keep your eyes to yourself and away from my sister you pervert." Roxas said in an irritated tone.
"Now you're just being harsh. BEsides I'm kidding okay. Anyway let's celebrate by having a party. Hogosha you can create a few things that we can use to throw one right." Riku said
"Actually there's little to no time for that. No offense but I have no intention of turning my house into a party city. First up Roxas needs to rest a bit and then it's time to begin each of your training. And RIku your behind. Out of everyone here you are the only one who hasn't gained a twilight drive mode. Both Xion and Roxas already have done both." Hogosha said
"NO reason to be harsh about it. Fine then whatever. But still Xion you have a twilight drive mode." Riku said looking towards Xion.
"I'm pretty sure you guys already should've known this but yes." Xion said
"Sweet can you and Roxas show me. I know you guys have it but I want to see it." Riku said
"Well every form of it is different for example Roxas's twilight drive and mine are two different things." Xion said
Riku nodded at this. "YEs Roxas described it to me but I still haven't seen it. How about you show me it again." Riku said
"What part of once every three days don't you understand! I feel like I'm about to faint or something." Roxas said annoyed.
"Fine then you can rest but why don't you show me your twilight drive Xion." Riku asked getting excited
Xion simple giggled and put one finger in front of her mouth and shook it. "Sorry but it's a secret. Besides the boost I gain from it really isn't that much compared to Roxas's or Sora's because I have my armor mode." Xion explained.
"Anyway Riku I suppose I'll have to start training you first. Roxas you rest. Finally Xion, I'm going to open up a portal for you to enter the real world. I want you to go there and tell Yen Sid of the events that happened and why you three will still be in here for a few more days. Try to make it fast and he'll understand if you explain it to him. Also I'd like to meet Sora latter so tell him to come in here latter when these three leave. I can only train three at a time so I'll train him when you three leave." Hogosha said as she created a portal.
"That will be a problem. You see Xehanort did something to Sora and now he's in a deep sleep. I don't think he'll be able to wake up for a while." Roxas said
"I see well I have a small idea why." Hogosha said looking concerned but creating a small bottle. And tossing it to Xion.
"Um what's this?" Xion asked as she studied the bottle.
"It's a potion that will wake your little sleeping beauty of a brother up in a minute." Hogosha said
"And here I thought he would need a kiss from his true love to wake him up." Roxas said laughing.
"So Kairi basically." Riku said
"No you dumbass. Of course it's Kairi!" Roxas said in a sarcastic tone annoyed at Riku for stating what he believed was common sense.
"Please don't put that image in my head." Xion said looking away blushing
"Great now you're making your sister think weird things you idiot." Riku said
"I was only kidding anyway so Xion just has to give Sora this potion and we'll wake up." Roxas said
"Basically I don't care how she does it though I'd recommend forcing his unconscious body to drink it." Hogosha said
"Right sounds easy enough. Maybe I'll make Kairi do it. That'll be a cute site." Xion said giggling to herself.
"That would be funny. Now I'm a little jealous of Sora." Riku said laughing
"I thought you said you don't like Kairi anymore." Xion said
"I don't but there's no harm in joking right." Riku said laughing a bit.
"I wish he'd like Kairi compared to who he likes now." Roxas said sounding a little depressed and causing both Riku and Xion to laugh.
"Okay enough of the chatting, I need all of you to get going now. Riku we are starting training, Roxas needs some more sleep and Xion go give Sora the potion to wake him and tell Yen Sid what happened.
"Right I'll be back as soon as possible to continue my training." Xion said as she went through the portal and then came out on the other side in Yen Sid's office.
"Xion!" Xion suddenly heard everyone say and saw a worried looking Kairi, Namine, Axel, Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Yen Sid, and Mickey standing before her.
"Hey everyone nice to meet you. Who's this old guy?" Xion said pointing to Yen Sid
"Old guy!" Yen Sid said feeling slightly shocked by hearing this.
"He's Yen Sid the old person in charge of the school. But more importantly what happened to you." Kairi said
"Long story but to keep it short everyone is fine but there's this person who is training us and who will help us become super strong so you guys don't need to worry about a thing. We are all safe but since time works differently in the other world we have no way of knowing how long we'll be gone." Xion said
"I see well then it appears we have little to worry about. This is good for our sake." Yen Sid said sounding relieved.
"Some new top secret training. Sounds fun. Wish I could join." Lea said sighing stepping out of the shadows.
"Axel what are you doing here?" Xion asked shocked.
"Oh right I forgot you and Roxas always called me that. Look my real name is Lea. Axel was just a name I used when I was with the organization but I'm Lea now. Got it memorized." Lea said
"I see but why are you here." Xion asked feeling a little nervous because she remembered how her friend attacked Roxas the last time she heard of him.
"Xion you may not know this but Lea here was a double agent the whole time. Everything he did was for our side and thanks to him one of Xehanort's bodies have been destroyed." Yen Sid said
"Yea he was a great help indeed." Terra said
Xion almost couldn't believe all she heard. For a while now she thought her friend betrayed everyone for power. Although it would make sense seeing as how the last time she saw Lea, he was trying to stop the shadow Roxas.
"Hold on Lea before I ask anything else. What the hell happened to your hand?" Xion asked suddenly freaking out when she just realized that Lea lost a hand.
"Oh this, it's nothing. Just a scratch really. I suppose you could say someone disarmed me or something." Lea said chuckling to himself.
"This isn't the time to make jokes!" Xion said
"He lost it fighting Xehanort. Needless to say we won't be having him battle anymore. We can't even heal it back which Aqua can do normally." Terra said
"I see then I'm sorry Lea. But why did you join the organization if you were an enemy?" Xion asked causing Lea to look down.
"I did it to save Isa. Well you know him as Saix but we used to be best friends almost like brothers and I wanted to save him. Of course I failed there." Lea said
"Because of Roxas's shadow drive." Xion said growing worried that Lea would now hate Roxas.
"No Roxas may have killed Saix but Saix pushed him over the edge. I suppose I really couldn't save my friend. Now not only is he dead but his power went to Xehanort." Lea said annoyed.
"I see. I'm sorry about that. I never knew." Xion said
"Its fine, I suppose that's how life works. Sometimes we attempt to do things but I suppose there are just times when no matter what you can't save someone." Lea said
"So what are you going to do now Lea?" Xion asked her friend.
"I suppose I'll get a good education and get a job like a real human being. God that sounds boring, I liked fighting monsters a lot more too." Lea said laughing.
"What the hell are you laughing out useless piece of shit?" Everyone heard a voice say.
Most people signed but Xion, Kairi, and Namine all turned their heads to see a man standing before them. They had never seen this man before but he was far taller than anyone else in the room standing at almost 7 feet. This man was also jacked as hell and he looked like he could crush any of the people in his hands. He had short blond hair wore a yellow shirt and black pants that looked ripped on several parts of his legs.
"Just who the hell are you." Xion said annoyed.
"Tonitrus what on earth are you doing here. Don't tell me you've already completed assignment I gave you." Yen Sid said annoyed.
"Of course I did it was child's play. Still what's with the new group of losers we have here? Don't tell me everyone here is a keyblade wielder too." The boy named Tonitrus said.
"Most of them yes." Yen Sid said
"I see that means someone is here who cannot use a keyblade right." Tonitrus said
"YEs that is true."
Tonitrus looked almost disgusted by this. "Then what the hell is going on here old man. Why on earth are a group of plain losers here with Keyblade users? And even so what's with all of these idiots. We got a one handed red hair. Three little UN threatening girls and that unconscious idiot. The keyblade must be pretty damn desperate to have chosen such a pathetic group of people to be its wielder. Man it's not like back when I was younger, now every person and their mother is able to at least use magic and even become a keyblade user." Tonitrus said
Xion was really finding this guy annoying as hell here he was talking down on all of them and he had never even met them. Xion didn't know who this guy was but he really was pissing her off and before she knew it she had her keyblade out. "Shut the hell up. Just who the hell are you anyway!" Xion said furious.
Tonitrus almost looked insulted by this and simple chuckled as he shook his head. "Who am I, I thought that much would be obvious unless you're going to tell me that the stupid old man didn't ever tell a single person about me. How interesting. We'll let me introduce myself. My name is Tonitrus. I'm a year older than rocky and wet girl over there." Tonitrus said irritated
"Rocky!" Terra said irritated
"Wet Girl!" Aqua said madly blushing.
"I thought we told you to stop with the nicknames. They're annoying and rude to all of us so shut it leave us alone when it comes to that." Ventus said
"Shut it airhead. Anyway I'm older than everyone here and just to tell you like them I specialize in an element. Take a wild guess what mine is." Tonitrus said
Xion looked at him for a minute as if she was supposed to know. Tonitrus chuckled at Xion for not knowing which only made her angrier. Before she could say anything Namine spoke up. "Thunder. Your element is thunder." Namine said looking down.
Xion looked shocked by how Namine did this and turned to her. "You sure about that."
Namine nodded. "Well I'm mostly sure but it's just a guess. I mean Ventus's element is wind and his name means wind to. Aqua means water which is her element and Terra means earth which is his element. Tonitrus is Latin for thunder so I think it's safe to assume that he is a lighting user." Namine explained
Tonitrus appeared behind Namine and patted her on the head which she clearly didn't like but Tonitrus showed little caring about. "Brain girl here knows a few things that you should learn shorty."
"Brain Girl." Namine said looking down at the ground clearly not liking the name.
"Shorty!" Xion said even more annoyed.
"You look mad shorty. I can tell that look. It's of someone who wants to fight me right. Well let's see I can sense your power and it's definitely impressive. Way better then these three idiots were back when they were your age. I wonder if you got some special training. Still it doesn't matter. I've been doing this for years on years and unlike you I have experience with this crap. I've been being a Keyblade Wielder for years and I even mastered my twilight drive. But you probably don't even know what that is." Tonitrus said
Xion Smiled at this. She couldn't wait to prove this jackass wrong. "Oh not only do I know of it, but I can go it too." Xion said waiting for Tonitrus to reply with a shocked expression. However much to her disappointment Tonitrus Smiled and chuckled at this.
"You don't say well now you must've had some real special training shorty. Still it changes nothing. Here's some advice, compared to you're just garbage." Tonitrus said
Xion now lost her patience and almost jumped forward only to suddenly be held back by Aqua.
"Xion look I know he's annoying and a complete dick but don't fight him. He really is one of the strongest members of us. The only people better are probably mickey and Yen Sid himself so please don't even attempt to fight this guy." Aqua said
"And you stop acting like a bully and picking a fight with a little girl. You're supposed to be one of the good guys remember." Terra said
"Whatever you say Rocky." Tonitrus said calmly as he turned to leave but stopped right next to Terra and whispered something into his ear. "Don't act all high and mighty. Is the mark he gave you acting up again. I know you've been trying to resist it but I wonder how much more time you have. You can't keep this secret hidden forever." Tonitrus said whispering into Terras ears causing his eye's to shoot open.
"Shut up about that. We agreed to never mention it." Terra said
"Of course we did. It's just a memory from the first time you and I went on that mission." Tonitrus said with a smirk and then left.
"Terra what's that jerks problem?" Xion asked
"Like I said he's probably the strongest out of everyone on our side besides Mickey and Yen Sid. Still he is overconfident and cocky as hell. He also looks down on others and while most people get assigned requests, he always takes the hardest ones. There was one time when he and I suspected the organization of being up to something so we went to fight Xehanort. Of course it didn't go well and he threw the first punch so we couldn't even have said that Xehanort attacked us. Of course now Xehanort is working in his own sick and crazy ways but a while ago he didn't act like that. Like we said he was under an agreement that in exchange for allowing his club to exist and allowing him to live he wouldn't attack the school." Terra said
"But he broke that promise so why would you even trust him." Xion said
"That is my fault. Before Xehanort made so many people of darkness there was just keyblade wielders and heartless. Both he and I were on the same team. We were even close friends but he was always different. He always seemed like he was hiding something and I know now that it was his demon half. He would always wear a mask and appear as such an undetermined friend but that was an act. I suppose deep in my heart I wanted to trust him. Of course I was a fool and I should've killed him a while ago but I was weak." Yen Sid said
"I see so Xehanort was always evil but he just knew how to hide it. Makes sense I suppose. Still you think that Tonitrus guy is anything like Xehanort." Xion asked
Yen Sid simple chuckled at this. "Xion my dear, I am happy to say no. I am now able to sense it if a person is pure evil. Tonitrus is dangerous and he's terrible in teams but there's a difference between being a dick and being evil and he is not evil. Do not worry dear he is nothing to worry about." Yen Sid said
"That's right, if master Yen Sid said that we don't need to worry then I believe we should trust him." Mickey said happily.
"I see well then. Well I suppose I should give Sora the potion to wake him up now." Xion said
"Potion?" Kairi said confused
"Oh right I got this potion that can wake Sora up. Oh but only someone who's he's really close to who isn't a relative has to give it to him. So Kairi can you please give it to him?" Xion said
"Huh my why do I have to." Kairi said blushing.
"It won't work with anyone else. Please otherwise who knows how long Sora will be asleep." Xion said with a smirk.
"Fine" Kairi said sounding embarrassed as hell. She then took the potion from Xion and glared at her causing Xion to laugh. Kairi then walked up to Sora's sleeping body. "You better be grateful for this Sora and I swear you're treating me to lunch for this one day." Kairi said still embarrassed as she took the drink and poured it down Sora's throat. She then saw Sora groan a bit and then open his eyes and jump up.
"Guys get down Xehanort could be anywhere." Sora said as he drew his keyblade.
"Well he's awake but he's insane." Xion said as Yen Sid Signed and they all decided to fill Sora in on everything.
"What so you're telling me that Xehanort escaped, Riku fought some dark insane person and another guy who looked like me. And Roxas went shadow drive, killed Saix, accidentally sent Xion to the inner world and then he and Riku went in there to save her." Sora said
"YEs that's basically what we said with the exception of a few details." Yen Sid said sighing.
"I see and why was Kairi the one who gave me the potion?" Sora asked
"Xion said I had to. She told me that it would only work if I gave it to you." Kairi said
"Yea I did say that but it was kind of a lie." Xion said laughing as she got a death glare from Kairi.
"Anyway so we better start training." Sora said
"Yea you will in due time but for now please wait Sora. Roxas, Riku and Xion are training in the inner world and Xion is going back in there. After those three leave you, Namine, and Kairi can all enter it and train." Yen Sid said
"Me too?" Namine said sounding shocked.
"Why yes. I have reason to believe that you may have some skills in magic. You do not have the power to awaken the Keyblade but still do not worry you are not powerless. Keyblade Wielders just get stronger faster and have more stamina than non keyblade wielders. But still I know a few people without keyblade who have trained themselves to be just as strong if not stronger than some keyblade wielders." Yen Sid said
"You mean like Cloud and Leon." Sora guessed.
"Yes them and their crew all have high power and even without keyblade they are far from weak." Yen Sid said
"I'm not so sure I want to train with those guys." Namine said realizing how strong those monsters were.
"Yes there training would be a little rough for you and I do worry about your wellbeing. Very well for now you'll train in basic stuff but latter on you can learn higher levels of magic." Yen Sid said
"Okay then I'll try." Namine said nodding
Sora punched his hand in the air and started getting excited. Alright sweet time for some new training. So then what should we do while we are waiting?" Sora said
"Just continue going to school I suppose." Yen Sid said
"Huh seriously we are fighting evil and I don't even get a get out of school free card. This isn't fair!" Sora said
"Schools still important young man. Now get back to focusing on school." Yen Sid said annoyed.
"Fine I will man you really are being a pain in the butt." Sora said
"I really couldn't care less." Yen Sid said rolling his eyes.
"And I have a test tomorrow too. Great like hell I'm going to pass that." Sora said
"Hey wait I have that too. Oh god I'm done for." Kairi said looking down.
"Oh right Sora I almost forgot. There is also this real jerk who's a keyblade user. I guess he's a good guy but you wouldn't ever guess that by meeting this guy." Xion said
"Seriously was he rude to you?" Sora asked
"Yea you could say that." Xion said
"Well then if I see this guy I'll be sure to kick his ass." Sora said
"Okay his name is Tonitrus and he's a real dick. You'll probably meet him eventually." Xion explained
"Okay then that's just another guy whose butt I got to kick." Sora said
"Are you guys stupid or something. I swear I told Xion that this guy is crazy strong. Both of you are just being reckless." Terra said
""You're not really the best person to talk Terra. How many times did you and Ventus almost get the three of us killed?" Aqua said
"Shut up about that stuff." Terra said
"Whatever either way don't go talking down on people like them. The best way to learn is through mistakes. Tonitrus is an asswhole but he won't kill them if they try to fight him. He'll just knock some sense into them like what he did with Ventus that one time." Aqua said
"Yea she makes a good point Terra and besides if you ask me Aqua can be way scarier when we piss her off and we all know we've done that before." Ventus said
"You two do it too yourselves." Aqua said
"True well then I suppose you're right. If you kids want to get beaten go ahead but the adults are trying to warn you of this guy." Terra said sighing.
"Go ahead we'll still handle it fine." Sora said
"Yup. Anyway I really should get back to training you guys. I'll see each of you latter." Xion said as she opened up a portal and left after saying goodbye to all her friends.
"Well then I wish each of you the best of luck." Terra said as designed and then turned and left.
"Terra before you leave I must ask, are you feeling okay." Yen Sid asked
"I'm fine." Terra said
"Are you sure Terra? You seem to be very stressed out today or more specifically ever since Lea came back you've been acting more and more annoyed and tired. Doubting and scolding so many young people isn't like you Terra." Yen Sid said
"You're absolutely right. I don't know what's coming over me. Maybe I'll go and get some rest." Terra said
"Yes I suppose that is for the best." Yen Sid said as Terra left.
"I hope he'll be okay." Aqua said with a concerned tone in her voice clearly worried for her friend.
"Aqua I want you to spend the next few days following Terra around everywhere he goes. This is important and I am worried that he's been hiding something from us. Starting tomorrow follow him and no matter what do not let him out of your sight." Yen Sid said
"No matter what? Come on that's a little much don't you think. I mean what if he goes to the bathroom or is sleeping. You can't expect me to follow him then." Aqua said
"Well obviously not. But I mean follow him and if you suspect anything either stop it or come to me. I worry about him." Yen Sid said
"Right that's easy, I'll just follow him around. And see what he does throughout his days when he's not hanging with me and Ventus. Maybe I won't even need to follow him; I mean we could always just hang out since we are friends that wouldn't be a weird question to ask." Aqua said
"A day hanging out alone with you. I pity the poor guy, something like that would make Terra go to the darkness." Ventus said
"I am worried that this may be the case Ventus. I truly am worried." Yen Sid said as he grew scared of his disciples' wellbeing.
