I don't own Bones. Sorry been slammed with testing and was unable to update for a week due to computer issues. I'll be slammed again late April early May. I wrote two light, happy chapters for you. Currently writing one with B&B post fight but I'm not good with love so it might take some time.

College Crushes

"Why are you guys so sad?" Lance asked as he sat down at lunch. It was a Friday and the weather was warming up.

"The school board going to redistrict the schools so me, Wendell, Zach, and Vincent can't come to Jefferson anymore," Daisy sniffed. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand.

"Oh stop crying. Jeez, you're such a baby," Allie said, "I won't miss you."

"Shut up," Daisy said.

"Baby," Allie sang.

"Allie knock it off," Lance tried to order.

"You're not the boss of me! I can do whatever I like and you can't stop me," she said.

"You're not being funny," Wendell said.

"I just don't get what's the big deal," Allie said.

"We have to go on a new school tour next Friday," Daisy said dejectedly.

"Where are you guys going?" Lance asked.

"Me and Daisy are going to Patton while Zach and Vincent go to Lincoln," Wendell said.

"At least you guys will know one person," Lance said, trying to put a positive spin on it.

"Patton's Jefferson's arch enemy and Lincoln is crap at sports," Lauren explained, "Not that sports are important but to high schoolers it's supposed to be."

"Well I got rejected from Penn if that makes anyone feel better," Lance joked. His friends commented on the suckiness of the administrators and the situation.

"Did you get any letters saying you're accepted?" Vincent asked.

"Well I was accepted in Toronto and Columbia put me on their waiting list," Lance admitted. High fives, fist bumps, and congratulations were passed all around.

"We need to do something fun this weekend to celebrate," Wendell said.

"Like what?" Lance asked.

"I don't know. Anything. What have you always wanted to do?" Wendell said.

"Well laser tag seems totally cool," Lance said with a growing grin.

"There we go!" Wendell said.

"There's this place near Patton called Gamer Complex that's a laser tag and arcade arena. My brother went there and he said it was sweet," Zach said.

"That settles it. This Saturday we beg our parents to take us," Wendell said.

"My mom could drive us there. She wouldn't mind," Daisy said, she was starting to smile and it made Lance's heart rate spike. Neither of them had said anything since their kiss and Lance wanted to talk to her about it but she was either too busy or she was with Allie or Lauren.

The plans were made and the lunch bell rang. The friends left, grinning ear to ear about their plans to go play laser tag at the Gamer Complex. They could eat pizza, play arcade games, and play laser tag obviously. That's why Lance wasn't expecting the phone call he got after school.

"Hey Wendell," Lance said after his mother handed him the phone. He was helping her unload groceries from her car.

"Dude! You're not going to believe this," Wendell said.

"What?" he asked.

"Daisy and Allie got suspended," Wendell said.

"For what?" Lance asked.

After Lunch

She found out just after lunch. Allie found out that Daisy Wick, the loser charity case she allowed to be her best friend had gotten with two guys Allie liked! Two! Well one not really but damn it they were hers. Padme told her that Daisy and Jared dated a little bit earlier this year when Allie was still plotting her revenge on Jared for breaking up with her.

The nerve of her! How could Jared like a wussy nerd like Daisy and not a fine looking woman like herself? It made her question humanity. It had to be a joke but then Donny Harrison, Jared's best friend and bandmate confirmed that they did date. Daisy would watch them rehearse and kiss Jared. With tongue! That bitch.

Then after she broke up with Lance, the freaky genius who was sadly ignorant of what she considered the finer parts of life. He looked confused whenever she did her sexy voice. The dumb bastard. He can skip four grades but not know that? The little slut kissed him in the rain! Who does that? This isn't some movie or some badly written drama.

She was going to get her back. No more rumors about her real dad being an alcoholic and a welfare leech. No more giving some poor wannabees cash to chase and scare her. This was going to be a direct confrontation. An in school fight.

"Wick!" she screamed. Daisy looked at her like she was insane. "Yeah Allie?" she asked.

"I know what you did!" Allie screamed. People were closing in. Good. Let them watch her kick her ass.

"What?" she asked.

"I know that you went out with Jared and kissed Lance! What the fuck man? You know that I liked Jared and that I just broke up with Lance and then you shove your tongue down his throat," she shrilled.

"Calm down Allie. I never did any of those things," Daisy lied. Bitch trying to outsmart her? Think again.

"I got two people who confirmed it!" she yelled.

"Okay fine. I kissed Lance and I went out with Jared for a month and a half. However," Daisy emphasized each syllable, "You knew that I was trying to get Lance to date me and you stick your tongue down his throat and get him to date you and Jared hates you and you two never went out together. Plus you used Lance."

"You're still a skank," Allie said.

"Am not! I don't spread my legs like you," Daisy said back. That made Allie see red. How dare she take her maturity and make it seem like a bad thing?! She'd show her. Allie screamed and threw herself at Daisy, scratching at her eyes. Daisy shoved her off.

"Allie get off!" Daisy yelled.

"NO!" Allie hollered and tried again. This time Daisy punched her hard. On the nose. Allie staggered backwards and fell to the ground. She did not expect that. She felt her nose and saw blood on her fingers. The red mist fell again and this time she charged. Instead of hitting Daisy she tumbled down the stairs. She groaned and heard the crunch of the bone in her wrist. God that hurt like hell.

Then she was in the principal's office. Her mother and her teacher boyfriend looked appalled as the principal told them of all her offenses. Daisy was looking at the ground as her parents were also told about what happened. Daisy was going to get it she thought smugly. Daisy got three days of out of school suspension while she got two weeks of it thanks to other kids admitting she has done shit like this before, putting hoes in their places.

"Get in the car," her mother ordered.

"Jeez Mom what's the big deal?" she asked.

"Big deal? You attacked and bullied your friend. For the past two years Mrs. Wick had been saying that you weren't being very nice to her at all. Bullying and belittling her and I yelled back that her daughter was a lying little bitch. I am horrified with your behavior and you're giving her an apology. A proper one," she ordered.

"No fair! It's her fault," Allie whined.

"Really? You have been bullying girls and harassing boys for dates since middle school started. So many kids started to speak up about your bullying when they saw that you could be punished. You've been suspended for two weeks. You're lucky you're not expelled. Me and Paul have made a decision," her mother said.

"You're taking me to the hospital for my wrist?" she snapped.

"Well we are and we're sending you to Catholic school," she said.

"What?! That's for religious freaks and preppy kids wound up so tight they're like drums," she howled.

"Do not question our decision. Hopefully they can rehabilitate you," her mother said. For the first time in a long time, Allie wanted to cry.

"Sorry," Daisy squeaked. She was in the backseat with her parents silently staring at the road.

"You're a little young to be dating," Dad said.

"I know but there's so much pressure to," Daisy admitted. Everyone wanted to grow up fast and she didn't want to be left behind.

"Daisy, no dating until you're fifteen got it," Mom asked.

"Yes Mom. It wasn't really serious with Jared, we kissed like three times and Lance it was just one kiss," she admitted hoping her parents wouldn't think she was easy, "How much trouble am I in?"

"None," her parents said.

"Well that's fair since I did get sus-wait what?" she asked.

"Screw that bitch," Mom said.

"Yeah I'm glad you broke her fucking wrist," Dad agreed.

"You're not supposed to condone this!" she squawked.

"We're not but in this case yes we are," Mom said, "I have been waiting for years for you to hit her."

"Besides you know that it was a bad thing to do and it was self-defense. Not your fault she fell down some stairs is it?" Dad agreed.

"So what do I do?" she asked.

"Fight only if it's self-defense," her mother replied.

"No during my suspension," Daisy said.

"Well. You're old enough to look after yourself for a few hours. We'll go to work, you do the work you miss, and after you're done your work, go to the skate park for all we care," Dad said.

"This isn't much of a punishment," she said.

"Do you want it to be?" Mom asked.

"Just figured that I would be punished," Daisy mumbled.

"Fine. Vacuum the house and do the dishes while we're at work. There you're punished," Mom said.

"Can I go to the Gaming Complex this Saturday? We're celebrating Lance getting accepted to college," she asked, trying her luck.

"Sure do you need someone to drive?" Dad asked.

"What college is he going to?" Mom asked.

"Probably Dad and Toronto University," Daisy said.

"Good for him," Mom said.

"So Daisy isn't punished at all?" Lance asked. The umpteenth time one of them has asked.

"Yep," Mrs. Wick replied, "Me and my husband felt it was justified."

"You're parents are cool," Vincent said.

"Thanks," Daisy beamed.

"So for redistricting, Wendell if you and Daisy do the Science Team for Patton I'd be happy to carpool. Just tell your mother," Mrs. Wick said.
