pllfan(guest): Hi! I wanted to say, welcome! I love getting new readers. Here is the next chapter. Yes, I figured it would be better for them to live in one big house, instead of multiple hotel rooms. Also, don't worry, your English is just fine! :)
Guest (1): Glad this is your favorite. That means a lot. Thanks for the review. :)

*In the basement. Hanna's P.O.V.*
While I am in the basement, I think of my friends and how worried they must be. I can't stop thinking about Emily, and how much she must hate me.
I wonder if she convinced the others that looking for me and the kids isn't worth their time and effort. Then again, Caroline is here. Her moms are Samara and Zoe. They must be so terrified and worried about their little girl.
Maybe the girls convinced Emily that I am worth looking for. I mean, I have my parents, my grandma, Luke. Surely they miss me and would look for me even if the girls no longer think they should.
I hope, whatever they decide, that the choice is to, at the very least, look for the kids. The twins are only six, and they have their whole lives ahead of them. Madeline can go back to her parents, and maybe she won't be affected by all of this the way the twins and I will. And Caroline, well, maybe she won't be as affected as the twins definitely will.
I lay back on my bed. I have nearly two and a half hours before I can check the door, and hopefully, get myself and the kids out of here. As I lay here, I think back to a happier time. The girls and I were just shy of our twelfth birthdays, and we had just met Brittany.
Man, I think, she was so full of innocence. I remember how Mike's principle had to call Auntie Ella and Uncle Byron, and asked them to come down to the school.
We got to the school and there he was, all 9½ years of him. The kid next to him, a fellow fourth grader, (but really, a held-back fifth-grader) was looking worse than he was. The principle said Mike has gotten into a fight with the older kid.
I was outside with Spencer and Aria. We were at Aria's house when Auntie Ella got the call. We were too young to stay home, and dropping us off somewhere else would have taken too long. Aria said we could go talk to our art teacher while Auntie Ella and Uncle Byron talked to the principle and Auntie Ella had said that was fine.
On the way there however, we ran into a little girl. She was around 7 or 8 with long, blonde hair, freckles around her nose and cheeks and the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen. She was missing her two front teeth, and she smiled and waved at me.
I don't know what it was, but I just had to stop Spencer, who was closest to me, and ask her if she knew that little girl because something about her was just so familiar.
As soon as the little girl saw Spencer though, she ran over to her.
Flashback: October 2002.
Grades oldest to youngest: 6th, 4th, 2nd.
Big kids: 9-11 years old.
Brittany: 7 years old.
"Spence, hey Spence." Hanna calls out. The taller girl stops and turns at her best friend's voice.
"Yeah, Hannie? What is it?" She notices a little girl standing next to her friend. When the little girl sees her, she runs over to Spencer, giving her a big hug.
Spencer just looks confused, as she doesn't think she's ever seen this little girl. But the younger girl seems to know exactly what she's doing because she looks up at Spencer and crooks her finger until Spencer bends down to her level.
Then, she leans in, and whispers, "Mon nom est Spence. Ceci est Emmy, Ari, et Hanna. Au revoir mon amour." Spencer head snaps towards Hanna as her eyes widen and the blonde's dothe same.
Suddenly, it all comes back to them. Halloween of '96. A haunted house, a lost little girl no older than 2or 3. Blonde hair and the bluest eyes any of them had ever seen.
Spencer had whispered that exact sentence to her as she left, and she promised the other girls they would find her again because there was something about her that told them if they ever saw each other again, they would become best friends.
The littlest blonde throws her arms around Spencer's neck, and whispers, "I findedyou."
Spencer recuperates the hug and, sheas does,Hanna and Aria who had walked over to them earlier.
"Yes, you did, Brittany. You sure did." Spencer shares a watery smile with the other two older girls. They found her. No more wondering who she was. No more wondering what happened to her. And no more wondering if they would ever see her again.
About five minutes later, Mike comes out of the room with Ella.
"Mom!" Aria shouts. "Is everything ok? What happened?"
Ella comes over to them with Mike. She tells them that the principle needs to speak to Brittany. The little blonde takesSpencer's hand and the girls follow Ella back to the office.
"Hello, Brittany," Principal Jones says. "You're dad is on the way. When he gets here, I need to talk to you about what happened. Okay?" Brittany nods.
"Okay, just sit right over there," He points to a chair. "And your dad should be here in a just a bit." The girls and Brittany only wait for a few minutes. Soon, a man is showing up, and Brittany is running to hug him, yelling out "Daddy!" as she does.
They go in and talk with the principal. It turns out, the other fourth-grader was bullying Brittany. He had found out, from his sister who is in Britt's class, that the little blonde can't do simple math, and has a hard time reading 2nd-grade level books.
The words in particular that he used, as told by Mike, were stupid…dummy…idiot. He also pushed her down and laughed in her face, drawing the little blonde to tears. How an 11-year-old could be so cruel to a seven-year-old, the girls and Mike and Ella would never know.
It was decided that, since Mike was sticking up fro Brittany, he would not be punished except for losing recess privileges for the rest of the week. The bully, later named Tyler McHanson, was suspended for bullying for five days.
All in all, it was a pretty good day. Brittany's dad, Thomas, thanked Mike profusely for sticking up for his daughter, a stranger up until that day to Mike. Then, he kindly excepted Ella's offer of meeting her and the girls at the park, so they and Mike could play with Brittany for a little bit.
Hanna smiles as she remembers that day. It was the start of a wonderful friendship, one that is still in place today. And it lightened up Brittany's world 10-fold.
Hanna and the girls helped Brittany with her math and reading in second grade, improving the little blonde's grades in those areas miraculously. In the third grade, she met Santana Lopez, who is now her wife of 3 years, and in the fourth grade, two more friends, Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray.
When she lost her dad to a horrible car accident at the end of the third grade, and then, due to her mother's neglect, was put into foster care throughout the fourth, being adopted right before the start of fifth grade, she has an unlimited numbers of friends behind her and to help her through that time.
Hanna sighs. She can only imagine what the blonde dancer and her friends from Glee are going through. She can't wait until she's freed from this hellhole. She wants to see Brittany's smile, and hear Santana's snark, and she wonders, briefly, if Quinn and Rachel's friendship survived throughout college. If Rachel is married to Finn, and if she has any kids. If Quinn has another son or daughter bedsides Beth.
God, Beth. A smile creeps over Hanna's face. The last time Hanna saw the miniature version of Quinn Fabray, she was just a tiny little thing, about 3 months, just beginning to sleep through the night, and no longer keeping Q and Rach up at all hours. Now, she be 8 years old, and would probably be in about the 3rd grade.
She rolls over, deciding to try to get a least a little bit of sleep before she tries the door, and hopefully can get her and the kids out.
*Dec. 6th, 2018. 1:15 a.m. Inside the house*
Caleb and JJ leave to go back to the station around 10:00 p.m. They need to listen to the recording Caleb has and get set up with the rescue team. They will be back around 8 a.m. sharp, after everyone gets at least 5 to 7 hours of sleep, taking turns in the bunks, while the others help with setting the SWAT team, and deciding which police officers will be going along.
Back at the house, Justin does a final sweep of the house. He mentally checks things off in his mind; the kids are upstairs, locked in their bedrooms -check. Hanna is in the basement -check. Robert and Lisa have gone home -check.
It's been just over two days since Hanna was given the medicine to help her heal. He frowns as he realizes he can't have Hanna pleasure him again just yet. He'll have to wait until she is nice and healed. Although, he thinks, he can always choose one of those brats to do the job for her. Yes, maybe he can even use them as leverage, threatening to kill one of them if Hanna tries to stop him.
He remembers that he caught Caleb doing something weird with the door to the basement earlier, so he goes to check. Ah! That bastard messed with the lock. Justin sighs angrily as he makes extra sure the door is locked. Then he checks the little hole underneath the counter and finds two keys, both to the bedrooms upstairs.
He angrily rips them from their hiding place and slams them onto the counter. Then, so he doesn't forget, he takes his burner phone from his pocket, dials a number, and waits.
"Hello?" The voice on the other end answers and he grins menacingly.
"Everything is set here. As soon as you are given the all clear, call me. I want to move as soon as we possibly can."
"Yes, boss. We will have clearance soon. The storm should be over by 5 a.m. sharp, and cleaning crews will be there an hour before hand. We can leave by 6:00 o'clock."
"Good. I'll be waiting." Justin snaps his phone shut, and takes one last look around the kitchen, and then grabs the keys, walking up the stairs to his bedroom. He takes the keys off the ring and puts them in the toilet. Justin then flushes them down, and watches as they go around and round and round, until they finally disappear.
He's going to have to remember to punish Hanna tomorrow. She did a bad thing talking to that man. He wonders if Steven is who he really says he is. And, at that, if Susan is who she says she is. Do they know Hanna personally? And, if so, how? Why would Steven try to mess with the door to the basement, and leave keys in the hide-a-way under the counter?
Justin just shakes his head. He goes to his room, changing and climbing into bed. He has just over three hours to sleep before he has to get that stupid slut and her brats up and ready to leave.
