Hello everyone. I hope you like this chapter. From the earlier chapter ANaruto and Menma are the same in the past just to tell you incase you get confused.
Chapter 34
Naruto is walking through heartland city when he saw Yuma and Shark running towards Naruto.
"Naruto!", Yuma yells concerned if Menma took over Naruto.
"Are you Menma?", Yuma said stoping in front of Naruto.
"Of course not, Menma is gone remember", Naruto said smiling and the others sigh. Astral is staring at Naruto suspicious.
"Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to see Rio", Naruto said smiling and walking away. He turns a corner and stops smiling.
Yuma", Naruto thinks sadly.
EPISODE 118
"Rio... What do I do", Naruto says sitting at a chair next to Rio who's still in a coma.
"You still don't get it", someone said and Naruto turns and his eyes widen. He sees Menma, the guy from his first life. He's wearing armor but not a helmet.
"You're", Naruto said and Menma looks at Rio and puts a hand to her face.
"Merag", Menma says sadly.
"Why are you here, I thought we fused", Naruto said standing up and Menma looks at him.
"You fused with your Barian self not with me. But once we do fuse your power will evolve into a new level", Menma says and kisses Rio on the forehead.
"She's everything to me", Naruto said holding his head and Menma nods.
"I understand, she's our whole world", Menma says looking at the sun set.
"What is happening", Naruto said with his hands going through his hair.
"The time has almost come for you to see my past and once you do. You will have come to an answer whether to help or stop Barian world", Menma says disappearing.
"Naruto", Shark says at rye door behind Naruto. Naruto turns to him and looks at Rio sadly.
Shark walks next to Naruto looking at Rio.
"Rio, during that accident, did all three of us really lose our lives? But you, Naruto and I are here right now. Why would the crest from the legend of the ruins be at our home? I just don't get it... Just what on earth is going on-", Shark stops thinking and both notice that Durbe is in the room in human form and looking at them.
"You're...! You're Durbe! Why are you here?!", Shark says looking at Durbe.
Naruto has an annoyed look on his face.
Reginald, Naruto...no... Nasch and Naruto. It's time for your awakening!", Durbe says shocking Shark.
"What?", Naruto and Reginald said.
"You two must get your memories back!", Durbe said.
"Our memories?", Shark said.
"That's right. Nasch's and Menma's memories are sleeping inside of you two. Naruto only saw a memory", Durbe said seeing the duel against Obito and Naruto. Naruto looks away.
Durbe shows them an emblem and a green gem and they both glow.
"To me, you are not Reginald Kastle and Naruto Uzumaki! You two are the leaders of the Eight Barian Emperors, Nasch and Menma!", Durbe says and suddenly there at the water ruins.
"This place is...!", Reginald says shocked.
"That's right!", Durbe says behind them. They both look and see Durbe in his Barian form.
"These are the ruins where your memories and the girl's rest. Menma's memories are here as well and these belong to the leaders of the Eight Barian Enoerors, Nasch, Menma!", Durbe says still holding the gem and pendant.
"If this indeed belongs to you, it is certain to reveal the truth to you. Now please remember! Nasch, Menma!", Durbe says.
"Our memories...", Reginald said.
"I have no idea why you two and the girl ended up here on Earth. But we need you three! I want you two to comfirm this with your own eyes! Nasch, Menma!", Durbe says then Naruto and Reginald stick out there hands and touch the pendant and gem. Both hold there's. right before there eyes it happened.
Naruto is back in the memory with shark again and Naruto is a ghost and sees Menma. Shark is next to him.
Menma is on the ground and holding a dead Rio.
Menma is crying.
"Merag...! Merag...", Menma says and holds Rio closer to him.
"How could this happen, my dear friends...?!", Durbe says closing his eyes and looking away.
"Merag... MERAG!", Menma yells to the heavens.
TIME SKIP
Naruto is watching the whole thing saddened.
There now at a funeral with a dead Rio in a coffin and its still open. Menma kisses her forehead. Naruto walks to Rio and try's to touch her face but passes through. Naruto looks angrily at his hand.
"I lost Rio, I feel so much pain", Naruto said holding his chest where his heart is and looking at Rio's face.
"I will fight!", Shark yells drawing there attention.
TIME SKIP
Menma and Shark are on ships heading for vector.
"Sail out, my army!", Shark yells.
"Vector, I will not forgive you! Even if it leads me to hell, I will avenge Rio!", Menma yells enraged never feeling this much anger before in his life.
Above then is Durbe on his flying Pegasus.
"Do it! Burn everything to cinders!", Vector yells on his ship. His men fire arrows with fire on them.
That begin fighting like never before. The battle ended and Vector retreated like a coward.
"After him! Don't let him get away! Vector! No matter where you run, I swear you'll...!", Shark yells.
TIME SKIP
It's raining and there at a village vector destroyed when he passed through it.
"This is...", Shark says.
"So cruel... To think you'd actually destroy the city you fled to... Vector!", Durbe says angrily.
"So many people dead", Menma says.
Menma hears crying and turns right to see a girl that looks just like a younger rio but has green hair and crying.
"That's...", Naruto said shocked seeing the girl again.
"R-Rio...?", Shark said.
Menma walks towards her and bends down to her level.
"Are you ok", Menma says and the girl sees him and runs and hugs him. Menma is shocked.
Menma looks and his eyes widen seeing a necklace with a red gem on it. The same one he gave to Merag.
"How did you get this?", Naruto said holding the red gem and the girl looks at him.
"My mommy gave it to me when I was a baby. My moms's friend adopted me and told me that I was endangered so I was hidden. That is what I was told", she says.
"It couldn't be... Wait a second", Menma says thinking of when he spent the night with Merag.
"She has to be", Menma says with tears in his eyes and smiling.
"What's your name?", Menma says looking at the girl.
"Iris", Iris says and Menma hugs her.
"Rio always wanted a daughter named Iris", Menma says and the soldiers eyes widen, Durbe and Shark are shocked.
"Are you saying", Shark said and Menma nods.
"She's my daughter", Menma says and Iris's eyes widen looking at Menma.
"Daddy!", Iris yells holding onto Menma as he picks her up.
"My daughter, I have a daughter!", Menma says happily finding a new light.
TIME SKIP
They set up camp.
"Here you go", Shark said handing her food.
"Huh?", Iris said looking at the food.
"You need to eat", Shark said and Iris takes the food and takes and smiles.
"Rio... I need you", Naruto thinks watching this.
Menma is watching Iris sleep and she's holding onto Naruto's hand not wanting her daddy to leave.
"You look so much like your mother", Menma says smiling and brushed her hair out of her face.
"Rio... We're you the one who drew us to this girl? Or... Are you...?", Shark said looking at the shooting stars.
TIME SKIP
Menma is riding with Iris behind him bonding into him. Naruto smiles.
Suddenly arrows come down on them.
"Go!", Vector yells Witt his men beside him.
Shark and his men sharge.
"Vector!", Menma yells angrily while protecting Iris.
TIME SKIP SUNSET
"Vector has assembled his army just over this valley. It is now we must mount the final battle against him! Our great King, we shall abide by ant decision you make!", a soldier says.
"We place our lives in your hands, our King", another said.
"The same goes for me! Me as well!", the soldiers start saying.
"I understand. Wait for my signal before launching an all-out attack", Shark said and the soldiers stand
"Sir!", they say.
They leave the tent.
"Are you doubting yourself? Vector muSr be defeated at all costs. But if we fight him now, there will certainly be countless sacrifices on our side", Durbe said and Shark closes his eyes.
"Please leave us...", Shark said and Durbe leaves.
"Na-", Shark stops seeing Menma's enraged look.
"I'll kill that man, he took the love of my life away from me, I'll kill him", Naruto said angrily.
"Naruto...", Shark said looking at Menma.
"He's been consumes by his anger, but Iris seems to bring him out of it", Naruto thinks.
TIME SKIP
Naruto is sitting next to Shark at a rock. Shark can see him now but the others can't.
"Reginald, Naruto", someone says and they both look up and see Rio above the water floating and you can see through her.
"Rio...", Naruto and Reginald said looking at Rio.
"This is our other past, Naruto, Reginald", Rio said looking sadly at them.
"We know...", Shark said.
"In this world, I have become a guardian spirit protecting my dear brother and my dear lover. Yes... I've been watching this entire time along with you two. Your lives, I mean, Naruto, Reginald. That is why I know", Rio said and in the reflection of the pond is Rio wearing her princess outfit.
"I know when you two are in doubt", Rio said.
"Rio... What are we supposed to do?", Shark said.
"Even when making decisions, you're always so kind... But you're always suffering", Rio said.
"Hatred gives birth to more hatred. There's a guy who taught us that", Naruto says and Reginald smiles.
"You mean Yuma, right?", Rio says smiling.
"But... What's happening here is definitely part of our memories! Durbe's right. All three of us have lived two different lives", Shark said and Menma is walking towards them with a flower in his hair holding a smiling Iris.
"It just means you two are a special chosen people, Reginald and Naruto", Rio says and both Naruto and Reginald turn. Menma lets Iris down and she runs towards Shark holding flowers. They see an image of a younger Rio wearing a princess outfit waving to them.
"You two are people who will determine the fate of this world, Naruto, Reginald. And you're staring right into that destiny right now. I am always here by your sides, Naruto and Reginald", Rio says disappearing and Shark picks Iris up and she puts a flower in Sharks hair.
They all look up at the shy and see the stars.
NEXT DAY
"What?! You can't find Nasch anywhere?!", Durbe says.
"Sir! We can't find the king anywhere!", the soldier says.
"Dine tell me he went to challenge Vector alone...!", Menma says angrily and leaves the tent then notices that Iris is missing. They check around camp and can't find her but found foot prints leading towards Shark's position.
"Oh no", Menma and Naruo said.
TIME SKIP
Menma and Shark's soldiers charge at the enemy.
Menma is looking around but can't find Iris anywhere.
"Where is sh-", Menma stops seeing Iris about to be attacked by Vector's soldier. Menma gets in front if her and stabs him through the heart killing him.
"Daddy!", Iris says happily.
"Why are you here Iros, its dangerous!", Menma says and blocks two sword strikes.
Menma knees one of the soldiers in the stomach and slashes him killing that soldier and grabs another's arm stoping him and stabs him.
"Daddy!", Iris yells and Menma looks and sees Iros on the ground and three soldiers above her about to stike down. Menma gets on top of her and blocks the three strikes with his back. Menma spits out blood.
"Daddy!", Iris yells and Menma looks angrily at the soldiers and grabs a sword on the ground and attacks with two swords. Faster then they can react he killed the three soldiers.
Vector's men fire arrows hitting all of them.
Menma is on the ground and about to pass out. There's seven arrows in his back. Menma and Naruto look and there eyes widen seeing Iris on the ground with an arrow through her.
Menma and Naruto become even more enraged and Menma is covered by red energy. Vector's soldiers back away and Naruto grows three tails and looks at the soldiers. There all scared seeing his eyes.
"Rawhhhhhhhhh!", Menma yells and changes at speeds no human can counter and begins killing them.
TIME SKIP
Menma got through the last soldier and runs to Iris's side and takes out the arrow.
"Da-daddy", Iros says looking at Menma with lifeless eyes.
"Daddy's here", Menma says holding Iris close to him.
"I feel cold", Iris says shivering and Menma's arms wrap around her more.
"Stay with me", Iris says and Menma is crying losing another precious person to him.
"Daddy will always stay with you no matter what", Menma says and and Iris's eyes close and her head falls to the side. Naruto then disappears and his eyes widen. Naruto has taken Menma's body and is holding Iris.
Shark exits the castle and sees them. He sees Iris.
"Iris...! Iris!", Shark yells running towards them. He stops standing right in front of Naruto and falls to his knees.
"I couldn't...protect you from this...! No, that's not true! I...stole it from all of you! The lives of my soldiers, my comrades, and my friends! Rahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!", Shark yells crying.
"I could have saved them, I could have saved them all if I had just used the power of the nine tailed fox within me, because of me I lost Rio, Iris. All these people died because of me!", Naruto says. Light begins shining through the clouds. The soldiers begin disappearing and turning into red energy heading towards the sky.
Iris turns into red energy and heads for the sky.
"No! give her back to me! I want her back! I want Iris back!", Naruto yells crying feeling pain at losing another important person. Naruto's right hand is extended towards the sky.
"All of there souls went...to Barian World. I remember everything", Naruto says holding his chest where his heart is remembering everything and still crying.
"Rio... Durbe... Naruto... That's right... I remember now", Shark says and behind him is Rio and behind Naruto is Durbe in his Barian form. There both see through.
"This is our true life", Shark said.
"I also remembered. My true memories...", Rio said.
"I understand now", Durbe says and looks at the sky.
"So that's why you were reborn as the leader or the Barians. The Barian World was originally very small, but due to all the souls involved in the battle between you and Vector, it grew in size", Duebe says.
"I...went to the Barian World?", Shark said with tears in his eyes.
"Reginald...", Rio says kneeling down to Shark's left and Shark looks to his left at Rio and then looks up.
"I'm...a Barian! Can such an ironic fate exist?! Yuma... Astral... Kite... The true enemy they've been fighting against... For me to be one of them...!", Shark says crying.
"Rio... What am I supposed to do?", Naruto says standing up and Rio becomes solid now. She hugs him. Naruto hugs her tight.
"Rio, if I lost you. I would have fallen to darkness and have been consumed by hate. Our daughter is in Barian world. I feel like I'm falling to pieces", Naruto said with tears in his eyes.
"Naruto", Rio said and Naruto looks up and his eyes widen. Rio kisses him.
Behind Naruto and unkown to them are two Menma's. Human Menma from his past life as a knight/prince and the Barian Menma who serves Barian World.
"The time has almost come for us to truly fuse, we have just gave him our memories. He will know that you lied to him", Menma wearing the armor of a knight says looking at Barian Menma.
"Yes but once the time comes the knights will become kings. He will soon make a choice and by doing that he will awaken a new power. Once he comes to a decision of who he will serve and protect, Barian World or Astral World. He must chose one", Barian Menma says.
"It saddens my heart seeing this but once we fuse he can use Zexal 3. Vector will regret the the choice he made in the past but because he did Naruto found even more power", Knight Menma says and Barian Menma nods.
"Ten tails and Sage of six paths, there blank cards and now Blue eyes shining dragon is about to become blank", Barian Menma said.
"The cards don't recognize Naruto as there master. Naruto hasn't truly come to a choice. But...his heart isn't truly in this even if he fights for Barian world", Knight Menma said and both disappear.
Naruto and Rio seperate. Naruto looks at his green gem and it glows bright. When the light goes down it looks just like Nasch's barian emblem necklace but has a green gem in the middle.
