36. Chapter 17 Church

Wow, Two updates, this is getting good for me lol! and now, for the moment we've all been waiting for, Here's Chapter 17! Yay!

Chapter 17.

Church.

Sunday Morning...

Time: 7:45 a.m.

Haruka hummed a gentle but beautiful tune as she had just finished putting on her golden heart-shaped necklace and was now putting on her perfume. It was now Sunday Morning and that meant, it was also time for Church as well. Due to working at Sci-labs, or going away on Conferences, the family had barely gone and would do it either once or twice a month and today was finally going to be their chance; especially for Megaman and Protoman also. Yuichiro was having difficulty with his tie until the kind Matriarch went over to help him who politely accepted the offer blushing in the process.

Chaud smoothed out his hair as he looked in the mirror carefully to see if there were no strands sticking out; luckily and thankfully, there wasn't as he sighed putting his brush down looking at himself from top to bottom in the suit that he had gotten from the mall last night. To tell the truth, he was quite nervous; today would be the very first time that he would go to Church with the Hikaris; he couldn't remember the last time he had been there but what he could recall was when he was just born to when he was just 4 years old with his mother and a few maids due to Shuseki being away most of the time. He made a low growl as he thought of the old man but quickly shook that thought away as much as possible.

The door opened revealing to be Lan in the tan suit with a pair of polished brown loafers that shined with every step he took. His hair that usually beared the blue bandana was not there this time and instead was neat, and tidy. Up close, he was like a miniture version of his father.

Chaud just stood there taking a mental picture of his rival right in front of him who looked just as confused wondering what was the matter with him? only for the other to shake his head to come of the trance as a blush slowly spread to his cheeks making his face feel hot.

"You look... Quite nice." He managed out trying not to let the stuttering get the best of him; he had never seen the boy without his piece of cloth before; he looked so different and so handsome as well. Feeling getting more heated, he quietly cleared his throat wiping the sweat off his forehead with his red handkerchief.

"Thanks, you too. So... Ready for Church?" Nodding then took place and the two became quiet once again.

Part 2 will be up hopefully by tomorrow night; Megaman and Protoman will be making their full appearances ;) take care! :)
