"But, Daddy, nothing I say will convince him to stop! What am I suppose to do?!"
"Maybe not you, but," As he looks down on your belly again, "But, someone else can. The one person that you two must put first now, is your baby." You turn around, you see something flash in the rebel soldier's helmet that you removed earlier. You pick up the helmet, take the object out. Your eyes widen at what it is. It's a picture of a woman and a little boy and little girl, siting on a picnic table. You turn it around and see a small note on the back, "To my Dearest Akito, we love and miss you. Come back to us. Love Kia, Maru and Yuki." You read aloud. This picture makes you realize that you need to stop Jin, by any cost. You arm is grabbed hard by your dad,
"We gotta go!" You two run towards the same staircase you wanted to go earlier. After going through the door, there is a choice of going upstairs or downstairs.
"Dad, got any plans?" He's observing the downstairs, looking like there's debris on the ground.
"Cadence, let's go upstairs." You two run upstairs, him first and you follow, hoping there is someone that is alive and willing to shed some light on what is going on. All you can think about is Jin, wondering if he is alright.
Jin's POV
Striking the last of the army, I sigh in relief. I get a message on my cell phone.
'We have a rebel solider in holding.' From Nina. I call her, "A rebel solider in holding, yes?"
"Yes, sir. My little cousin almost killed him."
"Cadence? I see." And yet, she doesn't listen when I said she can't be wreck less anymore.
"There's more. Seems like Cadence discovered your truth about bringing this world to darkness. You better do something about it. The only one she'll believe is you." I slam my phone shut, not wanting to hear anymore crap. I will convince Cadence MY way. She's my girlfriend, Soon to be MY wife, as she bears my child. No. Our child. My family is now whole.
"She only used you to have her on the palm of your hand!" Devil screams at me.
"No! You lie!"
"If she cared about how you feel, wouldn't you have said your thoughts on it?!"
"I'm scared."
"Scared of what!? You can't feel fear!" He hisses at me.
"I fear for Cadence and the baby. And tomorrow, we are getting married."
Cadence's POV
Finally, making it to the top of the staircase, is where the door leads to the top of the building. Your Dad opens the rooftop door, it's night and it looks like it's about to storm.
"Apart from being wet, we'll be safe here." You fall to the ground, in turmoil and in shock.
"A man was killed in front of me, Dad. How can I get up tomorrow, knowing how something horrible like this, will always be in my mind?" Your Dad is on the ground with you,
"Cadence, you have to get a hold of yourself. You're two months pregnant. You can't be stressing out on this. We have to go!"
"Answer me! You were an assassin with Uncle Richard before you two settled down. People died in front your eyes! How could you do it!?" He sighs deeply, "You killed those people just now!"
"I did it to protect you and your baby! You were gonna be kidnapped in front of my own eyes! That hurts more than killing strangers in the skyscrapers! I wasn't gonna allow you to be taken away from me like that!" He stands, scoffs and walks away from you, while you're still on the ground.
"Jin. Jin. I want Jin." Your Father turns, ready to speak, until a helicopter appears out of nowhere. It hovers above you two, then a person jumps and lands hard on the cement. Dressed in purple camo uniform and a vest, you're ready to run if you need to while your Father has his gun ready if he needs it.
"Well, well." Your eyes widen, you try to run towards your Dad to hide, but he steps in front of you. "It's been quite a few months, sweet, Princess Cadence."
"Do you know him, Cadence!?" Your Dad asks. Demanding an answer,
"Kazuya Mishima."
"Wait, this is Kazuya Mishima? The new leader of G-Corporation!?"
"That's not all. He's Jin's father."
"WHAT!? YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!?"
"Heh, heh." He chuckles evilly. "And, my Princess, rumors have it you have a little bun in the oven." Your eyes widen, as to how he knows that knowledge. You want to run, but as expected from Kazuya, "Don't even think about running."
"How do you know that!? How do you know that I'm-"
"Silly, girl. Have you forgotten what I am?" That's when alarms go off your head. You completely forgot about the Devil inside Kazuya. He looks at your Father. "Well, my Princess, should we show your Father the truth?"
'He's gonna transform!' "No, please don't!"
"Oh?"
"He doesn't need to know! I'll do anything!"
"But, my Dear. He's seen you as an Angel." You two look at your father he's trying to add two plus two. Finally, you can see it click in his head.
"That means you're a Devil!" Kazuya laughs, you turn your head away from your Father's gaze.
"Mr. Williams, what else does that mean?"
"That's enough, Kazuya!" Your eyes widen as your Father finally realizes what has been secretly going on this whole entire time. It went straight underneath his nose.
"Cadence, Jin Kazama is a-" You bury your face in your hands and fall on the ground, crying again. "Then MY grandchild-"
"I think I have done enough family damage for one day." Kazuya chuckles. The door opens from the stairway and it's Jin. You stand, running to him.
"CADENCE! STOP!" Your Father screams out to you. "CADENCE! STOP! I'LL SHOOT!" You keep running, wanting to go to Jin's arms and run far away from here.
"*bang*" You stop suddenly, you turn your head, wondering where you got hit, but like magic, Jin's behind you, taking the shot. You are facing his back, as he falls to the ground. You catch him, so he doesn't hit fully on the concrete. You're supporting his upper torso.
"JIN!" You could feel an evil heartbeat from Jin's heart. You look to find his wound, bullet went in his chest. You can feel his negative aura, waking the Devil. "JIN!" Blood is spilling, on his skin, shirt, your hands, your clothes. "PLEASE DON'T TRANSFORM!" You place your free hand on his chest, a small ball of light forms on your hand. A relaxing, tingling feeling travels all over your guys' bodies.
"Cad...ence."
"Shh. Don't talk now." You kiss him on the lips. It's been so long since you two kissed like this; feels like the first time you two kissed. Your Angel Gene activates, wings growing from your back, spread itself out like it's stretching. It moves to cover you and Jin in such a beautiful light.
"Cadence."
"Jin." Fast like lighting, you two are pulled back to reality as Kazuya grabs you by the hair.
"I let you save my wretched son."
Jin's POV
A once, peaceful moment, becomes a nightmare when my Father interferes and grabs Cadence by her hair. He yanks her away from me. I'm not dying, but I still feel numb.
"I let you save my wretched son." His other hand grabs her by the neck, lifting her up. Electricity comes from Kazuya, travels to his arm and like wildfire, spreads all throughout Cadence.
"AAAHAAHHHHAH!" Her screams agonizes my soul.
"STOP IT! IT'S ME YOU WANT!" She keeps screaming,
"Oh, no, my son. You see, before you came, she told me she would do anything to keep our devil form a secret from her Father." I look, Allen is standing with his head down, shadow covering his face, with the same gun in his hand.
"AAAHAHHAH!" My rage grows, but I can't move, let alone transform.
"And sweet Cadence, is to be mine. She's my bride now!" He drops Cadence in his arms, her wings disappear, he comes up to my laying, numb, broken body. "If you wish to come to our little, private ceremony, In Shadows We Hide, In Shadows We Rise. This Place Shadow Angels Ride, She Will Be My Prize." As his foot raises and coming on my face fast, knocking me out cold.
