Aurora's POV

"He's asleep" Dad said closing the guest room door behind him.

"He needs it since he came out of the book" Mom added. She then sent me a mischievous look. "He's definitely handsome"

"Mom! Don't tease me now!" I whined feeling embarrassed. I had changed out of my clothes and into more comfortable ones. Flame of Suzaku and Hotohori's sword actually made it through the book too. We were in our house in Tokyo which was where we stayed when Mom had a concert in the city. I felt my eyes get heavy and Dad noticed this. I didn't protest when I scooped me into his arms and he quietly took me to the guestroom where Hotohori was sleeping.

Dad thankfully had some extra clothes so Hotohori was out of his armor and in modern pajamas on. Once next to the bed did he put my me back onto my feet and I got into bed beside my mate.

"Thanks Dad I got it from here" I told my father in a low tone so I wouldn't wake Hotohori.

"It's good to have you back kid see you in the morning"

He kissed my forehead before leaving the room. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep and thankfully no nightmares plagued my dreams. I was the first to wake up before Hotohori in the morning and outside the bedroom I smelled coffee which made my mouth drool. I really missed that stimulant when I had been in the book. Hotohori groaned and I looked to see him opening his eyes.

"Morning love" I greeted him.

Hotohori flashed me a smile before sitting up.

"It will take some time for me to adjust to this world but already I like it" my other half said. "Did you sleep alright?"

"Like a rock and right now I need some damn coffee" I then climbed out of bed and Hotohori decided to follow. Dad and Mom were already awake and Mom had some muffins out for breakfast. Hotohori smelled the coffee and decided to try it and he liked it because he downed his whole damn cup which made Dad laugh. Afterwards we showed Hotohori how the 21st century worked and he was fascinated with everything.

"So this is where I came from" Hotohori said when Dad and I showed him the book.

"Yeah" I confirmed. "The others seem to be doing alright in Konan, Nakago decided to bail and Temeraire was able to defeat the white fox. The Kutou army didn't want risk being burned alive so they followed after Blondie"

"The nerve of that man" Dad hissed.

"Aurora told me you and your wife experienced a similar situation" my boyfriend said turning to Dad.

"Yeah when Fallon was Aurora's age my other half Krad also had feelings for Fallon, after the prophecy was fulfilled I gained a body of my own and was able to be with Fallon"

"I thought I had lost you when you became one with the Black Wings and Krad" Mom added and she stood beside Dad. She looked to him with love in her eyes.

"I'm still here babe" Dad reassured her and he squeezed her hand gently. He then looked to Hotohori and I. "I'm just glad you two are able to share what Fallon and I share"

"I love Aurora with all my heart and if I'm able to come here to her world then I have faith after everything is over she'll return to the book, to me"

"Hey don't get me crying in front of my folks!" I protested at my mate.

The emperor of Konan chuckled and he kissed my left hand. Since he was here it was a good idea to show my mate what the 21st century was like. I did an anime fall when I saw Hotohori in Dad's clothes. Hotohori wore jeans with a long sleeved dark red shirt and a black jacket. His hair was loose and I tried hard not to drool. I wore a black t-shirt with jeans and my black boots. I chose to wear my dark blue denim jacket and my hair was in a pony tail.

Dad and Mom decided to join us and we rode a train into downtown Tokyo. Hotohori was already having a good time and found the train ride fascinating. We went to various places and being out with Hotohori this way felt like a date. Eventually we stopped at a restaurant to have lunch.

"Man that was good" I said happily after we finished lunch.

"Agreed" Mom interjected. Dad and Hotohori chuckled nervously before we left the restaurant. As we walked under a bridge did I suddenly stop. Yui stood ahead of us. Dad and Mom noticed her and immediately Hotohori pushed me behind him as Dad made Mom do the same.

"I've been looking for you Aurora" Yui told me. "I'm surprised Hotohori was able to enter our world"

"So Lady Aurora we meet again"

Suboshi was leaning against a railing. He held the ribbon that was part of Yui's uniform.

"What the hell are you doing here Suboshi?!" I demanded.

But my answer was Suboshi using his weapon to attack and Dad was able to smack it away.

"You won't hurt my daughter!" he yelled at Suboshi. Dad then eyed me and Mom.

"I'll stay here and help your father fend him off Aurora take your mother and run" Hotohori said in a serious tone.

"Be careful both of you" I told them before I grabbed Mom's hand and we ran for it. Even without his powers Dad would keep Hotohori safe. As we ran I suddenly felt the same pain I had felt when Chiriko died. One of my warriors just died and I stopped running. An image of Mitsukake appeared in my mind and I knew he was gone.

I buried myself into my mother's chest and she kissed my forehead and hugged me back.

"There you two are!"

Mom and I looked up to see Dad and Hotohori running towards us. They looked slightly beat up but otherwise unharmed. They came to a stop out of breath.

"What happened to Suboshi?" Mom asked.

"Dark was able to use his magic to put him to sleep" Hotohori explained. He then looked to me. "You felt it too didn't you Aurora? One of the Celestial Warriors has passed on"

"Oh crap" Dad stated. He then placed a hand on Hotohori shoulder. "I'm sorry"

"It was Mitsukake" I admitted.

The four of us then had a moment of silence to remember Mitsu and it wasn't long until the sun started setting so we decided it was smart to head back home for now. Tomorrow I would try and talk some sense into Yui at her school. As we got closer to the train station was I suddenly wrapped in something and I screamed as I was pulled away from Hotohori and my parents.

"Now I can see where you gained you're fighting spirit from Lady Aurora" Suboshi taunted. He had me wrapped up in the coils of his weapon. Dad growled at that remark.

"Let her go!" Hotohori and Dad exclaimed.

"Not a chance this woman has caused me such misery for the last time and all of you will watch her die" Suboshi hissed.

Suboshi then pushed me onto the ground and proceeded to choke me. A snarl was heard and a wolf body slammed itself hard against Suboshi making him get off of me. The coils from Suboshi's weapon released me and I sat up to see my mom in her wolf form in front of me. Suboshi then sent his weapon towards her and I was quick to kick it away with my foot.

"Don't you dare touch my mother you bastard!" I yelled at Suboshi. He simply smirked before sending his weapon towards me again and I used my fist to punch the ball away before I charged at Suboshi and gave him a hard kick to the face. Suboshi was sent flying backwards and he landed on his back. He then got back to his feet and was stopped by the cops but they got injured by simply interfering. An idea came to my mind and as much as I didn't want to do it I would need to kill Suboshi. But I would do it with his own weapon so I taunted Suboshi and constantly moved around him.

He sent his weapon after me and when I jumped over him did his weapon go right through his body and his blood stained it. I landed on the ground and I turned to see Suboshi clutching his wound. Yui's ribbon fell to the ground and Suboshi picked it up. Then the Seiryuu fell over onto the ground and a second later he was gone.
