Third POV

The next six jumped into the arena. They stood in two rows, facing the other team.

"Team 3, are you ready?"

"Yes.

"Team 4, how about you?"

"Yep."

"Then, BEGIN!" He cough-shouted. Immediately Sakura and Ino shouted out that they would take on each other. Ignoring their teams responses, they started a taijutsu match.

Kakashi, who was watching, sighed. 'After all the lessons I taught, she still didn't work with her team.' Kakashi thought with a sigh. The other four shinobi looked at each other and chose their opponents.

The supposed 3 vs 3 had now turned into three matches of one vs one.

Ryuuko POV

I tried to watch all three matches at the same time, but then decided my eyes would hurt too much to do that. After using 'Eeny, meeny, miny moe' I focused on Sakura and Ino's match.

As I observed, I noticed that it seemed to progress exactly as it had in the anime. Bored, I looked at the next match. Kankuro and Misumi were also pretty much progressing the same way as the anime. Finally, I looked at Temari's match and smiled. Definitely different.

Temari had gained the upper hand, as she used her fan to keep Yoroi away. Unable to absorb Temari's chakra, he resorted to a different method. He punched the ground, and smirked. I frowned, not understanding what was going on, until I saw Temari freeze, and then later Kankuro, Misumi, Sakura and Ino.

He had done something, which had paralyzed everyone.

Taking advantage, he quickly ran up to Temari and started to absorb her chakra. Temari struggled, but with no prevail. I looked to a different match to see what others were doing.

Sakura and Ino's match caught my eye. Due to the fact that Ino was farther from Yoroi, the jutsu didn't have as much power on her as it did on Sakura. Using that fact, Ino had used her Mind Transfer jutsu on Sakura and then slumped down.

I watched Sakura. While her face showed nothing, I knew that a mental battle was going on right now. Sakura's hand raised up, and her mouth opened. My eyes widened. Did Sakura fail?

My answer was given as Sakura's body froze up, and Ino's body jerked. The two looked at each other, and then nodded. Standing up, the two charged at each other for a final blow.

Their fists hit each and both fell back. My mouth dropped as Ino stayed on the ground, but Sakura pushed herself slightly up. Did she win?

Once again, my answer was no. Sakura swayed a bit, then fell back down. I guess it could be counted as a win. In a way she lasted longer than Ino.

However, for now, she was done. Looking at Kankuro's match, he had won. Most likely it was the same way as before.

"The 10 minutes are up."

Kankuro, upon hearing this, manipulated his puppets and attack Yoroi, who dropped Temari. She pushed herself up quicker than she should have. I frowned, then realized that she had been waiting for a chance. The tired look was an act.

With the combined efforts of Temari and Kankuro, Yoroi was defeated quickly.

"Kankuro and Temari pass. Next teams!"

Yeah, short chapter. There really wasn't much to write though, most of the matches were canon. Therefore, I decided, if you guys could just watch the episode to see what happened, why write it when I could write stuff that happens only in fandom?
