Sorry it took me so long to update, but her is the next chapter. Writers block is a pain, especially when you get it right before you finish a chapter, but I finally finished.

Stephanie's Pov

Okay, so I was in an unbelievable situation right now. Spring break had just started for us, meaning we got one week off from school, plus the weekend at the start and end of the break so it was more like nine days off, and Renesmee had come to me with a rather… interesting request. Oh, screw that, it was more like a bloody demand and I was staring at her in disbelief, wondering where the hell this demand had come from. Renesmee was currently nine years old, turning ten on September 10th 2016, yet looked my age and yet here she was, asking me to go to a club with her. I was currently wondering if she had lost her damn mind, because from how she was saying this, I was being to think she was.

"So, will you?" She asked and I continued to stare.

"Ness, what exactly have you been drinking or eating today? Or should I ask who have you been eating." I asked from my place on my computer chair, my arms crossed on the back of it. She slapped me for that comment, which I knew she would.

"Nothing bad smart-ass, and you know I don't eat people. I just want to go to a club and dance on a Saturday night." She said and I sighed.

"Which would be fine if A: We were the legal age to go clubbing, which we're not. Hell, you aren't even close to the legal age. And B: Even if we did find a club we could go to without it being illegal it wouldn't be here in Cleveland and we'd be killed by our parents." I said.

If I took Renesmee to a club, Bella and Edward were never going to forgive me. I mean sure, kids went to clubs all the time that they could go to and some snuck into clubs – there were places people could go just to dance. Still, maybe I should not have let Renesmee watch Buffy and see the Bronze, 'cause that might be were this idea came from (Funny how offended she was about that show though).

"Oh, come on, what happened to the fun Stephanie I've heard so much about?" She asked with a teasing smirk and I smirked back.

"A nine-year-old is asking me to take her to a club." I said and she huffed, pouting.

"If you're worried about Mom and Dad, don't be. I'm sleeping with Jake, so a club can't be so bad right." She said and I shook my head. That wasn't the point, and I couldn't believe she'd just come straight out and said that.

"You need to stop spending so much time with Emmett and me." I groaned. "And by the way, it's not like they like the fact that you are sleeping with Jake already – I think Edward would kill him if he could – so I can tell you now that going to any sort of club is going to be a very big deal to them, especially with alcohol and guys." I said and she just kept looking at me, making me sigh. "You're not going to give up, are you?"

"Nope, I learnt that from you." She smirked and I groaned in irritation. I mean, it's not like going to a club and dancing didn't sound appealing, 'cause it did; it had more to do with my vampire family. They were out hunting right now, had been since Thursday because they left early, and the two boys were out doing something too, but when they got back they weren't going to be happy if they found out.

"Fine, we can go as long as I can find a club that lets in underage people, but just remember that we're so grounded after this because we're not telling them." I said and she laughed happily before pulling me up and hugging me.

"I don't care." She sang before she ran out of the room, probably to get dressed. I just rolled my eyes and went to find clothes myself, waiting for her to return. I had barely started looking when she did, poking her head in "Um, I don't know what to wear."

"Get in here, you can wear something of mine since I doubt you have club clothes anyway, but I'm watching what you grab." I said and she smiled, coming in with fluid steps. Seriously, only a vampire or half-vampire could be so graceful all the time.

We went through all of my clothes and I ended up choosing black clothes for both of us, but only because that was what looked right and Renesmee wanted to wear a black dress that she had found that Alice had brought me at some point in time (I tried to black out most of the shopping I did with her because it took so damn long). It hugged her body, but not too tightly, and went just below her knees because she was shorter than me, with straps over her shoulders and cross straps in the front – I was grateful that her breasts weren't as big as mine. She was also wearing black strappy heels and was going to pair it with a black jacket she owned – I had a feeling I was going to be fighting off perverted guys tonight, which made me wish she'd worn jeans and a nice top like me, but she wasn't gonna' listen. I was wearing black skinning jeans, small heeled leather boots that went to my knees and a black silk top that flowed and had small straps. I also grabbed my leather jacket since it wasn't exactly warm outside.

When we did our makeup, neither of us put on much since we didn't need or want to and we both kept out hair down, but I put a black headband in my hair. While Renesmee was doing her hair, I looked for a club we could go to and managed to find one that let in minors, it was just in Westlake, Ohio, which wasn't that long of a drive from where we were now, so that was good since I would be driving. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't know if Renesmee could drive since I had never seen her behind the wheel of a car.

"Did you find one?" Renesmee asked as she came back in and I nodded.

"Yeah, it's in Westlake, so we don't have that far to go." I said as I got off my phone, pretty much already memorizing what way I needed to go to get there the fastest. "Did you write a note or send a text or something so they at least don't freak?"

"I left a note since I doubt they'll have cell service where they are and I don't want the boys offering to join us." She said and I rolled my eyes. Why did I have the strangest feeling she was going to get us in a shit load of trouble? Oh, that's right, she's nine and has never done this before.

"Okay then, let's get going. We can get dinner on the way." I said, grabbing my jacket off the couch and grabbing my clutch.

Renesmee and I headed downstairs and even though I really, really wanted to find out what she had written, I headed straight for my car with Renesmee right behind me. Well, if we got in trouble we got in trouble, can't be worse than how bad my parents got when I snuck out all night once.

We ended up having dinner at an Italian restaurant, since we figured going to a fast food place looking dolled up like we did would attract to much unwanted attention, and it went well… mostly. The food was good and so was the music and waiter, but there was a moment when a man who could have easily have been thirty/thirty-five approached us and asked us if we were a couple. Now, I have nothing against that same sex couples so that's not what got me. We told him no, that we were sisters, which then made him ask if we wanted to have some fun. Now I get that Renesmee looks a hell of a lot older than she is and beautiful and I look older than sixteen, especially when I dress up, but I had a feeling he knew we were young and that just made me sick (It didn't help that I knew he was technically hitting on a nine-year-old, despite how she looked and acted). He was just a pervert and I pretty much made short work of telling him that we weren't interested, so he better get his ass moving before I made him less of a man than he already was. Either it was what I was indicating or my look, but he scurried away like someone had lit his ass on fire, which caused laughter to erupt between Renesmee and I.

We headed to the club after that and payed to get in, and once in I was quite happy. The music playing over the speakers was actually really good and the décor of the club was too. It was a bit of a shame that there was no band, but I could deal with that. Renesmee and I instantly went and started dancing with each other; it ended up being like we were in our own little world. We didn't care what others were doing around us, instead we just cared about moving our bodies to the beat. Not so surprisingly, Renesmee was good at this kind of dancing, though I had a feeling she was following me a little too because I obviously knew what I was doing.

We danced for what felt like a lifetime, though it was about seven songs straight, and then made our way over to the bar where the bartender came over to us, wiping a glass with a cloth.

"Two cokes please." Renesmee said and he nodded, going to make our drinks. When he came back with them Renesmee handed him a ten, while I took my drink and took a big drink out of it.

"Okay, I'll admit that this wasn't such a bad idea." I said and she started grinning her head off, but it was then that I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and I pulled it out, looking to see who it was from.

Seth (8:36pm) – Hey, just thought I'd ask since Jake can't get Ness. Where exactly r u 2?

"Ness, what did you write on the note you left?" I asked and she shrugged.

"That we were going out and would be back later tonight, so don't wait up." She said and I sighed.

"Yeah well, you might want to check you phone 'cause Jake's been trying to get a hold of ya'." I said and then I grabbed mine. "I'm telling Seth we're having a girl's night out, since you decided to be vague."

"Just tell him where we are, by the time they get here we'll have been here long enough to have girls time. Plus, these guys staring at me are getting on my last nerve, so having them here would be nice. Jake would scare them off." She said and I shrugged. Well, I really didn't care if they joined us, though I wouldn't mind it. I didn't think clubbing would be their thing, but I'd let them know.

Stephanie (8:38pm) – We're having a girl's night at a club in Westlake.

A moment passed before he replied

Seth (8:40pm) – You're at a club.

Stephanie (8:42pm) – It's a club that let's in teens and the whole thing was Ness's idea just so u know. U 2 can join us; I'll send the link so you now where the club is.

I sent the message, I then linked the details of the club so they would be able to find it quicker.

Seth (8:45pm) – We're on our way; we might as well join u, though clubs aren't my thing. I'm not dancing though.

Stephanie (8:46pm) – We'll see if u dance or not. I can be very… convincing.

Seth (8:47pm) – I've never once doubted that.

I had to smile at that, until I felt a pair of eyes staring over my shoulder from the side and saw Renesmee looking at my phone. I playfully shoved her as she sheepishly grinned, turning off my phone screen.

"Don't you know you shouldn't read someone's privet messages? Go text your own boyfriend." I said in annoyance and she pouted playfully.

"But it's so fun watching you flirt with Seth via text." She said and I glared at her, but the glare was half-hearted.

"Shut up." Was my retort to that, which just made her smile all the more.

Renesmee and I had decided to stay sitting at the bar, drinking our drinks together and talking while we waited for the boys. Funnily enough, we talked about a lot we normally don't talk about because there were no vampires around to hear us. Renesmee was more relaxed talking to me here because she didn't have to worry about her family hearing her and she asked me quite a lot. She admitted that she enjoyed having a human friend that was actually still a teenager because she had someone to talk to about things she couldn't possibly talk to anyone else about.

At one point before the boys arrived, a fight had broken out, but security had quickly dealt with it. That led to Renesmee asking me if it was hard to learn how to fight – I explained that it was immensely hard and taxing, and that at times I had wanted to give up because I had learnt a few styles of fighting, but in the end, I had knowledge that could get me out of dangerous situations.

The boys arrived around the time they should have and we got up to greet them, instantly being able to spot them through the crowd. I will admit, I moved pretty fast through the crowd because some of the girls were looking at Seth like he was a piece of meat they wanted to devour and I was imagining them hit. I was just glad he didn't notice any of them.

"Well, you two sure as hell didn't mess around getting here." I said as I got to them and Seth came closer to me.

"To be fair, Jake's the one who was driving." He said loud enough for only me to hear and I had to smile. Why was the word whipped coming to mind when I thought of Jacob?

"I can easily believe that." I said back, before I turned to face him fully with a grin. "Now I believe we were texting about dancing before."

"I'm pretty sure I said I wasn't going to dance." He said and I smiled.

"Technically you messaged that you weren't going to dance, and I'm pretty sure that I replied that I can be very convincing." I said and he just shook his head at me.

"Steph, I can't dance." He said and I shrugged as I grabbed his arm with both of mine.

"Then I guess it's a good thing that I'm great at dancing, so I can guide you." I said and he sighed in defeat, which might have meant that we would have been able to dance, but of course fate had a grudge against me because right then my phone started ringing, which I only heard because it was in my hand. I looked to see that it was Carlisle calling, which made me look at Renesmee. "Carlisle is calling, I'm going to go outside and answer the phone and if he asks who wrote the note, I'm telling him it was you." I said.

She didn't really seem to care all the much as I started to walk off.

"Want me to come with you?" Seth asked and I shook my head.

"I'll only be a minute. Don't worry." I said as I quickly made my way through the crowd. I made my way through the club and headed into the back alley, since there was no way I was going to hear Carlisle talking inside and the front was just as noisy.

"Hey Carlisle." I said, because I knew I might not be in so much trouble if it was Carlisle I was talking to.

"It's not Carlisle dear. Where exactly are you and Renesmee, because this note doesn't say much?" Esme said and now I wished she'd called Renesmee.

"Okay, first of all: Renesmee wrote that note so that isn't my fault. I told her to explain that we were going to a club in case you came home." I explained.

"A club? Why shouldn't I ground you for going to a club with Renesmee?" Esme asked and now I was just going to admit the truth. Why the hell not.

"Honestly, if you want to ground me, that's fine. Renesmee wanted to go to a club and dance, so I found one that let in underage kids and we went. We even told the boys where we were, after we had a bit of a girl's night." I explained truthfully.

"Wait, it was Renesmee's idea?" She asked and I could tell she was shocked. Couldn't blame her there.

"Pretty much, but I agreed to it so…" I started, but suddenly I heard feet coming up from behind me and I turned just in time to prevent a guy from grabbing me, though he managed to knock my phone out of my hand. It smashed against the ground and I noticed that there was another guy in the alley.

The first guy tried to grab me again and I grabbed his arm, throwing him into the wall with a knee in his chest before I kicked the second guy in the chest as he tried to grab me. I didn't know what was going on, but obviously these guys were trying to get a hold of me. The second guy managed to wrap his arm around my neck before I could yell for help and I threw my head back into his, before I drove my foot onto his right one and slammed my fist into his nuts. You wanted a guy off you, one of your first targets should always be his family jewels. I then directed an uppercut toward his jaw, which connected. Unfortunately, I was suddenly grabbed from behind by the first guy and he placed a cloth over my mouth and nose that it didn't take a genius to realize was drenched in chloroform. I struggled against him, but even I wasn't immune to this sort of thing. Before I knew it, my vision started to blur and then…

Seth's Pov

"Hey, Carlisle is calling me. Why would he call me if he's supposed to be talking to Steph?" Renesmee asked and I didn't answer, I just started moving through the crowd toward the doors Steph had gone out. I moved through the crowd as fast as I could and made it outside into the alley pretty quick, but I didn't like what I saw.

Stephanie wasn't anywhere to be seen, but her phone and purse were both on the ground, her phone broken. I lent down and picked up her purse and phone, just as Jake and Ness came out of the club. I turned to look at them and I saw a strained look on Ness' face.

"What did Carlisle say?" I asked, because it was obvious something had happened to Steph.

"Esme was on the phone with her when it sounded like her phone was hit out of her hand and obviously it smashed." Renesmee explained and I gripped the phone in my hand. "It's worse than that though Seth."

"How can it be worse than Stephanie getting kidnapped or whatever happened?" I asked, because right now I had no idea where my girlfriend was.

"Sheriff Mercer called the house, John has somehow broken out of prison." Renesmee said and now I had a very bad feeling. I might not be a genius like my girlfriend was, but if her uncle had broken out of prison then he had to be behind this and that worried me. I didn't want to see Stephanie hurt.
