Time Compression

They caught up with the others only to find Saxito himself in front of the dawn and twilight crystals continuously firing a beam of energy in the sky"Look familiar? This spot is where Ansem The Wise himself was vaporized due to his machine overloading and the false kingdom hearts was broken... I caught wind of Xehanort's true plan from the get-go. ... But Xemnas had a contingency plan... and used Raixihk's Seeress powers and warped my memories to the point to where i couldn't even remember major events..."

Riku grimaced"Yeah, I'm familiar with it."

Tidus shrugged"Let's quit the sob-story and just get to the point. Your twisted schemes are practically in the dump. Now all we have to do is take you and the crystals out."

Squall put a hand on his gunblade"Where's Rinoa?"

Saxito turned around"Look in the sky where kingdom hearts is. And the process of making Rinoa crazy is almost complete. In a few moments, Ultimecia from the future of Squall's homeworld will take her over."

Sora readied himself"Not if we have anything to say about it."

"You killed Yuel, Saxito. And you wrecked Yoran's hideout. I believe its time to settle the score" growled Caius.

"We will stop this, for the sake of everyone in the world order" piped Serenia.

"If Rinoa is taken over by Ultimecia, I will rip you apart" stated Squall.

Saxito scoffed"Says the emo who always rescues a useless, pathetic excuse of a woman who would use a pansy like seifer to get you jealous." He then looked at Caius"You see Yuel die all the time in every timeline. Her death was caused by Etro's petty curse that i slowed down by a bracelet I mixed with Weyard's Lemurian draught just to keep her alive with info I needed. And Yoran had it coming. I'm the reason he's even on you guys' side to begin with."

Glancing at the younger red-head, he smirked"And Serenia... How brave you've gotten. So close to actually accomplishing something, when you yourself hold back and hesitate. Unlike Taios here, you...heheheheheh. I don't even have to say it. Because being the damsel in distress is always going to be your forte."

"With the destruction of the crystals and your defeat, my redemption will be complete, Saxito" Yoran said.

Squall shrugged"I don't believe what you say about her and Seifer, nor do I care."

"I'm still an Apprentice, and from my perspective, you cheated with that Static trick of yours. Though, it was just me, Roxas and Taios against you at the time" Serennia said.

"We will no longer allow you to abuse the crystals' power, Saxito" stated Yoran.

Taios tensed"Saxito... just stop this madness-"

Saxito snapped while summoning Nothing to Something"S-SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!" he blasted Taios with a stronger version of the flare spell. Serenia quickly cast Cura on Taios.

Kairi frowned"There's no reasoning with him, guys, we have to fight."

"Sora, Serenia, Riku, Yuna, Tidus, while you hold Saxito here, I will use the Dawn Crystal to temporarily shut off the Twilight Eclipse and then destroy it" said Yoran.

Questa readied herself"I will help you destroy the crystal, Yoran."

Sora nodded"No problem."

Saxito pointed his keyblade at the group as light consumes them in a paradox illusional area where they were in a unfamiliar ruined city with one building looking more modern than the rest of the place as they were near it and the sky was lit up with twilight and the ground was glittering upwards with dark confetti.

Saxito slowly descended to them with a creepy smile"I am the light that destroys the darkness. Since you choose to protect it so much, i will purify your hearts so that light will remain for all time!" He blasted them with holy energy.

Sora cast Cura on his comrades and retaliated at Saxito with a Ragnarok combo. Kain pitched in with a jump attack while Yuna summoned Valefor.

Saxito barely dodged while brutally attacking Valefor with dark splicer"You know, I always thought Valefor was a weak Aeon. Try upping your game for once. But then again... I am dealing a doormat that ALWAYS apologizes for minor idiotic things!"

Saxito blasted Yuna with grand cross then casts decaying doom on Sora which felt like with each moment a bit of his health was draining as Saxito flew on top of the building with a creepy smile"Come to me, Sora."

Tidus healed Yuna with a Hi Potion while Tina shot up in her Esper Form to cast Flare on Saxito. Sora also headed after Saxito, hand on a green summon gem to summon Tinker Bell in case Saxito's decaying doom took its toll.

Saxito floated up a bit then chases Sora in a downward motion"Nothing will stop me from completing my goal!"

Sora avoided the assault"We'll see about that."

Kain, Ceodore, Riku and Cecil rush to help Sora. Sora whirled around and cast Thundaga on Saxito. Saxito groaned and casts painga at the group while firing a barrage of dark confetti knives.

"Argh! Alright. that's it. I'm done! I've just about had it with your pretentious bulls#it!" Taios used Timesplicer, dark drive, and lastly holy smite on Saxito, then cried"Now!"

Sora heale his group before attacking Saxito with a combo and Strike Raid. Kain and Ceodore attacked with Cross Slash Prime while Serenia cast Blizzaga on Saxito.

Saxito collapsesd in silence as he slowly gets back up and the area is returned to normal" ... Hmph. so you've beaten me... But wait. you're all too late now. I had hoped you all would fight me to buy time... And observe. The time compression finally begins!" He finished with a creepy, insane smile.

Sora looked around"No, it can't be too late."

King Mickey's voice echoed"That's right, Sora. You can't give up, now."

Sora bowed his head for a moment"I... no, we... We won't give up!"

"Now you're talking. Saxito, accept it, you pretty much lost. We can still stop this Time Compression" said Serenia, determined.

"Yoran, Questa, can you still get near the crystals?" Sora asked.

Yoran nodded"Yes, but we'll require a distraction."

"You can interrupt the process... but that doesn't mean Kingdom Hearts goes undamaged" sneered Saxito, pointing his keyblade at the crystals as a beam of nothingness fires at them, increasing their power like a lightbub"hahahahahaha! Just like with Ansem's machine, the crystals will overload! And no one can stop it!"

"NOOOO!" Taios slammed into Saxito, and the crystals begun to shine brighter than anything they've seen before. Despite the beam stopping. reality started to distort and warp as they all hear the sounds of multiple clocks ticking faster and slower at the same time

Sora looked around"What's going on, now?"

"He's up to something" stated Yoran.

Riku shook his head"Saxito is an insane fool."

"Be ready for anything, guys" Sora warned.

Saxito was pinned to the wall"heheheheh... it's starting~..."

Serenia cast Blizzaga on Saxito, followed by a Flare from Tina.

"Its over, Saxito" Sora said.

Saxito gasped"Maybe instead of focusing on me... You should instead focus on the witch from the future that just started to awaken with her powers!"

Squall cursed"Dangit!"

"Humph, then tell us where to find Ultimecia before she takes hold of Rinoa" said Cloud.

Saxito shrugged"alright. You go to this pharmacy, ask to get a drug called: V***, so it can help you go screw yourself!"

"That's it!" Tidus hurled Blitz Ace at Saxito.

"We'll deal with Ultimecia's time compression" Sora said.

"Heh... As if you even can stop Time Compression" Saxito said as a pool of of darkness was consuming him"Nothing is going to stop me from destroying kingdom hearts forever!" The dark pool consumed Saxito, and he vanished.

Serenia glanced at the spot"Is he gone?"

Sora shrugged"I don't know, but we have to hurry and stop Ultimecia and her Time Compression. Let's focus on that for now."

As they continued onward, the ruin and creation area was replaced with Ultimecia's Castle's foyer. Taios paused"oh great. Time travel incognito bull$#it."

Squall shrugged"I wouldn't expect anything less, we can't attack Ultimecia directly from our time, anyway."

Sora squared his shoulders"Let's check this place out, I guess."

Tidus nodded"Right, and hopefully Chaos' ilk will be out of our hair for a long time after this."

They headed on through the castle foyer where what looked like Yuel greeted them"Welcome, Taios... And Warriors of Cosmos..."

Serenia paused"Yuel... no... you're not the Yuel we know..."

"Remember, guys. Each Yuel is recycled again and again" reminded Taios.

Caius shrugged"I am hardly surprised by this."

Sora addressed Yuel"So, what are you doing here?"

Yuel turned around and pointed to the area to the left"The true Emperor of Avalon awaits you. Saxito interrupted the history that should've been. The timeline where the warriors of light and darkness were to destroy Elgo and return peace to its rightful glory of the past... Avalon needs to be returned to the past."

"But how can we do that?" Sora asked.

"Once Ultimecia is defeated, time should sort itself back out, and everything involved should go where they're supposed to be in their respective time periods" Squall explained.

Sora squared his shoulders"We already defeated all four Avalon Generals, though. But we'll do what we can."

Taios grimaced"our first target is Elgo... Let's go see em'."

As they went, The groups eventually made it to the basement to where it had a slightly long hallway, white pillars, and a throne. Elgo himself was at the throne, he had light brown hair, grey eyes, a brownish cap with a long white feather, a bluish shirt, and leather boots

Elgo greeted them"So all of you are the future of the human species... I can't say I'm that surprised."

Serenia was puzzled"What do you mean by that?"

"So, you're the one the original warriors of darkness and light from your world was supposed to destroy. I'm Sora. You're Elgo, right?" Sora greeted.

"You don't have to explain all of your names. I know who you all are. I've foreseen the events that have transpired throughout the ages, considering saxito came to... As you would say: "world." Tell me: how does it feel knowing that when kingdom hearts gets damaged the farplane gets consumed by the chaos?" Elgo stated.

Yoran frowned"So, even the Farplane won't be spared the chaos. Both the Sent and Unsent would be disturbed by this. I had hoped that I could take my eternal rest once I've put everything to rights."

Questa nodded grimly"Indeed, such news pains me to hear."

"We may not be able to prevent Kingdom Hearts from being damaged, but that doesn't mean we're gonna stand by and let it happen" said Tidus.

Sora shrugged"It really sucks, but what Tidus said."

Elgo smirked"Interesting. You all would risk your own existences to save something dear... I suppose time tends to repeat itself."

What do you mean?" asked Taios.

"Isn't it convenient that I know everything that has transpired and still find that I succeeded in my goals? I knew Saxito would come to my time through the means of Merlin's time spell. What better way to allow the world return to the way it was supposed to be by causing both light and darkness to fall? It's worth a try don't you think?" said Elgo.

Cecil griped his bladd"You and Saxito have no right to risk an apocalypse just to save the world order."

Sora summoned the Kingdom Key"If its at the cost of over a billion lives, I'd have to say "no."

"You all desire to challenge me, after everything that i have done to protect humanity from the tyranny of the puppets that are gods and their master, Bhunivelze? You would all be willingly serve beings who would eventually betray you and destroy you all in the end?" sneered the former Avalon Emperor.

Tidus scoffed"Saxito was just full of justifications."

Sora: We may not like what Bhunivelze will eventually do, but we can stop him. And without destroying the worlds.

"It is inevitable. You believe power like yours comes as easily in a drop of hat? The burdens of sacrifice must be atoned for. Your keyblades, magic, and abilities must equal the price of those lives you desire to protect" stated Elgo.

Ceodore frowned"And yet, you and Saxito have sacrificed too much! we'll stop you, here and now!"

Two large orbs of chaos appeared above Elgo as he slowly rose and floated in the air"Then come, Warriors of Cosmos! Let us see which one of our beliefs is the correct one!"

Kain performed a jump attack on Elgo, followed by a Flare from Tina. Cecil and Ceodore attacked the Avalon Emperor with Vibra Plus. Elgo fired a meteor spell at them while casting holy.

Tidus groaned"Urgh, this guy doesn't fool around at all."

Sora and Ventus cast Curaga on their allies while Serenia attacked Elgo with Thundaga, Cloud struck with Meteorain. Elgo began to obsorb one of the chaos orbs as his spell casting was getting even more intense. Ceodore cast Shell on his allies to reduce some of the impact.

"If his magic gets too strong, we're finished. We need to strike hard and fast" said Yoran.

Yuna starts casting Auto-Life on her allies to be safe. Tidus attacked Elgo with Blitz Ace, followed by a Blasting Zone from Squall and a Double Jump from Ceodore and Kain.

Elgo fired multiple meteor spells"You believe that you are on the side of good. The cold reality is that there is no Good or Evil."

Questa cast Curaja on the group right after recovering from near-death once the spells hit.

"Auto-life saves the day. Yuna, recast it as fast you can. We're gonna need it" piped Tidus.

Yuna nodded"I'll try."

Sora rushed Elgo with Arc Arcanum while Cecil and Ceodore attacked with Vibra Plus. Squall lunged at Elgo with his ultimate limit break: Lionheart.

"Sora, can we summon Asteroth?" Taios asked

Sora shrugged"We don't know what that will do, but its worth a shot. Let's do it."

Taios nodded, then called ou"Asteroth! We need your help, here!"

Asteroth appeared in a small speck of darkness"You called? Oh, oh this is just perfect. Huhuhuhuhahahah!" The remaining orb of chaos were absorbed in the small hell butterfly as he transformed into his terrifying swordsman for"run you pathetic worm!"

"Everyone stand back!" warned Taios.

The group panicked in slight nervousness and fear as Asteroth began to mercilessly attack Elgo with intense hatred and malice. Elgo gasped with a look of pure terror"no... St-stay away from me!"

"You should've thought of that before being a dooshbag. Fluminous edge!" Asteroth cried.

Elgo: screamed in pain from the magic attack as Asteroth vanished"You believe that defeating me changes anything?" He was barely able to stand.

Sora shook his head"No, but stopping Ultimecia's Time Compression and sending Avalon back where it belongs will."

Tina blasted Elgo with Flare, causing him to collapse for a moment. Elgo gasped"I refuse to be defeated..."

"Elgo... Just stop. You lost. You have to accept defeat" said Taios.

Elgo grimaced as intense light and darkness started to transform him into the true Emperor"As long as gods exist, I will never stop!"

Sora tensed"Now, what's happening?"

Taios had a look of disgust"Oh great... He's gonna turn into a monster that switches light, darkness, and a giant monster of nothingness."

"Sounds disturbing. But whatever it is, we should be able to handle it" grinned Sora.

Elgo transformed into a giant grotesque circle-ish monster with pupil less eyes and a giant head that began to fire a beam of intense energy at them.

"Whoa!" Sora gasped, dodging the beams.

Serenia groaned"Ew! How can we fight this?"

Yoran, Questa, Aqua and Ventus summon their gliders and armor and flew up to combat the monster properly.

Elgo fired an intense diamond dust as he began to mutate into a giant creature of Darkness"I am Chaos Elgo! Your demise is inevitable! Pandora's box! Axion!"

Sora healed his allies and unleashe at Ragnarok Combo on Chaos Elgo.

"Dark flow!" Elgo growled as a tidal wave of pure malice struck them, but thanks to Ceodore's shell spell and Taios absorbing said darkness it was less harmful.

Ceodore cast Curaga to be on the safe side, while Tina and Kain attacked Chaos Elgo. Tidus attacked with Spiral Cut. A holy energy began morphing the monster an into a strange being. His head was still enormous, but there was Elgo's normal body hanging upside down.

Chaos Elgo fired a constant beam of holy energy at the group"You will receive Purification for your darkened hearts. Bathe in the eternal light of judgment!"

Tina cast Curaga on the group and retaliated against Chaos Elgo with Flare. Ceodore and Kain follow with Double Jump. Squall attacked Chaos Elgo with Blasting Zone.

"We need to finish him, here and now!" Taios shouted.

Tyler nodded"We need to unleash trinity limit again!"

Serenia shook her head"...no. We need to seal his power so that he won't be a threat to this timeline ever again."

Sora nodded"Serenia's right. Taios, Yoran, Questa, can you help with that?"

Questa nodded"We'll do what we can."

"Then let's hurry up and do it! I'm not sure how long it will take for him to change forms again and attack us!" Tauis cried,

Sora, Questa, Yoran and Serenia ready their keyblades.

"The sealing technique is difficult, but if we all execute this at the same time, it should work" Yoran stated.

Beams of light fire at Chaos Elgo from Sora, Serenia, Questa, Ventus and Yoran's keyblades.

and lastly, taios joined in causing Chaos elgo to change forms multiple times

Chaos Elgo reverted to human form and collapsed"For all your efforts... all your happiness, all your hopes, desires, hatred, compassion... It will all be meaningless. You can continue to denying it...but you cannot delay the future" He looked to Lightning"I truly hope you are happy with murdering your own family member, Lightning. Is the taste of death too great for her to bare?"

Lightning frowned in confusion"What the heck do you mean? She's a Seeress?"

Questa shook her head"Call me cold, Elgo, but what is one life when weighed against the lives of millions? You're pathetic."

Elgo shrugged"That may be so... however, since time immemorial... Avalon was always ruled by a tyrannical emperor... like a god among mortals. Gods are no different than tyrants. You don't even know if Cosmos herself is doing the right thing. Etro cursed Serah with seeing the future like Yuel has. The irony is that what you lot are doing now, is no different than being swayed into becoming puppets of gods themselves. Can you all live with yourselves after endlessly serving gods without an eventual will?"

Sora shook his head"No, but That doesn't justify a genocide, Elgo. Nothing does."

"Gods and Goddesses can't ALL be horrible" piped Serenia.

Lightning frowned"I may not forgive Etro for cursing Serah, but other people are at stake."

Elgo started to fade a little as sprinkles of darkness came out"One more thing: I believe a Warrior of Chaos about resurrect his god is in this very illusion of a castle...there is no other choice. For we are only pawns in their hilarious game of theirs."

"Elgo, I understand what you're going through... and to an extent... you're right. Gods are using us like pawns... but the way you're doing it is the stupid way" said Taios.

Elgo smirked as he faded completely"... then i suppose I leave it in your capable hands... Taios."

Yoran paused"Another Chaos Warrior..."

"Could it be Kuja?" Tina asked.

Cloud squared his shoulders"Its a possibility. But there's also Ultimecia."

They left the basement and returned to the foyer, seeing the stairway leading to the second floor onward was entirely made of orangish yellow crystal

"This looks familiar" Taios said.

Cecil looked around"By this, I suspect we know for sure who our next opponent is. Let's keep an eye out."

Sora begins to try and climb the stairs. Only to find themselves on a crude, yet pretty pathway of orange crystal trail leading to crystal world, and Kuja was walking until the heroes approched him.

Kuja"Hm? Well if it isn't Cosmos' warriors and-..." He paused to look at Taios in slight fear and gasped" ... oh-... oh of course... you're the somebody... I feel slightly foolish."

"It has been a while, Kuja" said Yoran.

Kuja snirked"Oh, and Yoran, I fail to recognize you. To see yourself stooped to teaming up with the opposite side, things must really be tragic."

Tidus shook his head"You're just a wimp, Kuja, why not just move so we don't have to kick your butt?"

"Ah, ah, ah, we mustn't judge by appearances, now. Now, shall we get down to business? Chaos' resurrection Is nigh, but I shall enjoy entertaining you all here for a while" Kuja sneered.

"Kuja, there's still time, you may have been no match for Saxito, but you could help stop his plan of destroying all worlds" Yoran stated.

Kuja shook his head"Sorry, Yoran, but I think I'll pass. The Time Witch does not interest me, nor would she be pleased to see me aiding the enemies of Chaos. How about a little spell?" he cast Seraphic Star at Yoran and charged at Serenia with a Flare Star.

Taios interrupted him with dark drive and was blasted by the Flare Star"Kuja. Kust stop this. You know that if Saxito succeeds in his plan of destroying kingdom hearts, then there would be no god for you to revive. Plus, even if you did managed to revive Chaos, he'll just kill you!"

Kuja paused"Oh? Ah, the worlds' destruction would be no good now, would it? And I don't suppose you expect me simply defect to the side of Harmony? I suppose I owe Saxito some retribution, though I am rather afraid of him now, sad to say."

Sora shrugged"Still, if Taios trusts you, maybe you could join us, then? I don't trust you, but we need all the help we can get."

Kuja glanced at the team silently for a moment"Well, I see that Caius is amongst you, with his power, you may not have need of me. However, I suppose I could play a part in restoring Harmony to time itself."

Serenia smiled"Thank you, Kuja. I'm pretty sure Zidane would thank you, too."

"Save it, this is only temporary. Let's deal with Ultimecia and Saxito, shall we? Yoran, Caius, pleasure to be working with you once again, I suppose" Kuja remarked.

Yoran nodded"Then let's move on."

Questa healed Taios while Caius addressed the Chaos Warrior"... I need not remind you, Kuja. i don't need you or yoran once saxito is gone.

Kuja smirked"Your opinion is noted."

They continued onward to the path as a shadowy figure in red witnessed them leaving as he silently flew with one large black wing as they made it to the planets core... and a single dark feather floated downward.

Taios paused"... something isn't right..."

Kuja frowned" ... If I hadn't known better, I would say Sephiroth has returned-"

"You are wrong. The eternal thorn in Cloud's side- or should i say, Zack's side shouldn't return... thus, I removed him from the tyranny of gods, by stealing what should've been mine to begin with" interrupted a voice.

Sora glanced at the speaker"Who are you, then?"

The man flew downward"My name is Genesis. I lost to the hands of Zack... and the remnants took my sleeping body away from Gaia for some time... until I had awoken to find the worlds in a brink of collapse... and thus i have found all of you."

Sora grinned"I'm Sora. So, what do you want with us?"

Cloud tensed"Genesis was a Prototype Soldier from the Shinra Corporation, not to be trusted, Sora. Yet, I have no idea why he's here."

Genesis smirked at the blond Ex-Soldier"the only reason I'm here, Cloud... is to challenge you. You are Zack's only living legacy. You hold all the shards of my former friends. Angeal... and Sephiroth... and the three friends are reunited once again."

Cloud drew his sword"Fine by me, we need to proceed onward, but I will accept your challenge. Sora, the rest of you should go on ahead with Tifa."

Tifa shook her head"You're not fighting him alone, Cloud."

Cloud smiled"Its okay, Tifa. The rest of you have a more important job, anyway. I can hold him here for a while, maybe even win if I'm lucky."

Tifa shrugged"... You always have to be so stubborn, Cloud. At least let me fight beside you, we might be able to overcome Genesis together."

Cloud relented"You win, Tifa. Genesis, we're taking you down."

Genesis smirked"Will you succeed Zack's spirit, I wonder? Or will you end up like Sephiroth? Only time will tell."

"Cloud... That man is what made Sephiroth crazy to begin with. make sure, that Genesis' defeat will avenge his honor" chimed Taios.

Cloud ... slowly nodded as he and Tifa took a battle stance"I will do my best. And I will not allow myself to become like Sephiroth.

"Do your worst, Genesis, we will beat you" said Tifa.

Genesis smiled"We shall see, won't we?"

"Come on, we have no time to waste" said Taios.

Cloud started off with a slash at Genesis, while Tifa darted to Genesis' side and punched at Genesis twice, followed by a kick.

Genesis cast apocalypse, doing minor damage to the two.

Tifa groaned"Urgh, this guy doesn't play around."

Cloud shrugged"I still have a few tricks." He unleashes Meteorain on Genesis and darted forward with a slash.

"Gah! Show me the true power of SOLDIER!" Genises let loose with a wave of Mako, blasting Cloud and Tifa back.

"Now you done it" Tifa rushed forward with a Beat Rush, Somersault and Meteotwist combo at the Genesis, backed by Cloud's Bladebeam.

Genesis collapsed"All I truly desire is the ultimate end." He got back up"and now that it has been fulfilled... you both shall taste my destruction!" he cast Supernova and was obliterated.

"Brace yourself!" Cloud covered Tifa's body. Ceodore rushed to cast shell to help the pair survive.

Serenia blinked"That was it, right?"

Cloud shrugged"Other than that supernova, he was all talk."

Taios frowned"... something tells me... that this isn't the last we've seen of 'em..."

They continued onward and came to Ultimecia's garden that had two fountins. The physical form of Taios' biological father, King Aaron was there, picking a flower from the grass and smelling it"Who knew this is the future that all worlds end... and the blame was ultimately my fault."

Serenia gasped"Huh?"

"Lord Aaron?" Questa asked.

"Your highness... Hm. Something must be off" Yoran remarked.

Yuna frowned as a hard realization struck"The Farplane... I have a bad feeling that its become unstable."

King Aaron turned to see the group"and you're right. It has. Forgive me for awakening Genesis. I just had to be sure that you lot weren't fooling around."

Taios was dumbstruck"Dad... really? Testing my friends?"

Aaron nodded"I know it sounds utterly cliche' nowadays, but you have to understand my position in all of this. If I hadn't awaken Genesis, Emperor Mateus would have taken his place... A minor distraction did utterly confuse him for a while."

Sora stepped forward to introduce himself"Uh, hey, I'm Sora."

Questa walked up to King Aaron and knelt before him"Sire, its an honor to meet you again. Please forgive me for not acting sooner to stop Saxito and the Twilight Eclipse."

"It is I who shares most of the blame for this. I worked from the shadows to obtain the Twilight Crystal and eventually the Dawn Crystal to dispel the Twilight Eclipse. I was willing to do whatever it took and couldn't anticipate Saxito's interference" Yoran bowed as well.

Questa bowed her head"I have failed as a knight of the Sacred Key Kingdom, but we are, as we speak, on our way to stop this Time Compression and end Saxito's madness, your majesty. And we will deal with Mateus if necessary."

Aaron crossed his armed"First off, Questa... There is little time to feel self pity. And for the record, I always valued the both you as my most trusted knights. But Yoran, no one blames you... because I'm the one who created the crystals in the first place..." He then looked at Sora and co."But I kind of suspected that you have gathered quite the crew with my son. I know who you all are... especially you... Kuja."

Kuja was flattered"Ah, that's unexpected."

Aqua nodded in respect"Its an honor to be known by you, your majesty. May I ask how you knew?"

"I've been observing Saxito himself. at the time, Vanitas was corroding his mind... And I didn't know that I was unknowingly making the situation worsen... but I did see all of his recent memories of all of you doing the best you could. But I'm here for one purpose right now."

Taios' curiosity was piqued"And what would that be?"

"For you to take my keyblade as your own" Aaron replied.

Questa was shocked"But sire, that is your most prized possession."

"Questa... you realize that my son is my living legacy... and Sakura is in britannia right now" Aaron stated.

Questa nodded"I understand, Sire."

"You won't be joining us instead, your grace?" Yuna asked.

"His majesty has his reasons, Yuna" Yoran stated.

"Yuna, call me Aaron. And I can't join you all. There's enough people on your team to stop Saxito. But i can't just simply give away my keyblade" King Aaron said, arms crossed.

Taios paused"You mean-"

Aaron nodded"You and I will have to wage battle alone."

"You guys go ahead" said Taios.

Questa nodded"Very well, my prince."

Sora's group, minus Taios, begin to move onward. Serenia lingers behind to glance backwards at Taios in worry, but knew this was his test. So, she continues to follow Sora.

As they continued onward, they entered the area of Ultimecia's castle with all the gears, which sent an unsettling chill in the air, as if the chaos and darkness had mixed here and they've noticed 3 people. A man carrying a large katana in a sheath, wearing a military style clothing with a long cape, and a woman who had flowing long pink hair with slightly downward horns, wearing a white fighter monk with a hole of a heart insignia, and long leather boots and having dark demon glove claws which the two almost looked simmilar to Agaito and Karst from Weyard, and they were speaking to Emperor Mateus himself

The Emperor spoke"Oh, it appears events have taken an interesting turn."

The man turned to face the group"A bunch of children, and two traitors."

The girl turned to face them as well and giggles mischievously"How ironic."

Sora glanced at the Emperor"Mateus, again? No problem. But who are the other two, here?"

Kuja addressed the man"Oh, how you wound me. I don't even recognize you."

"It is not surprising, considering that we are of the newest generation of warriors that make beings and keyblade wielders like yourselves obsolete in comparison" stated the man.

The Woman gigglsd"and believe us when we say that everything will be over before it begins."

The Emperor smiled"but do not despair. All of you are aiding us all the same."

The man, Blados, looked at Serenia"you are the one that the great Blados will fight first."

The woman creepily licked her lips at Ventus"You are mine, big boy. My name's Chalis."

"Don't underestimate me" Serenia told Blados.

"Good look with that" Ventus readied his Keyblade.

Sora prepared himself against Mateus"Ceodore, Tina, Cecil, I might need a bit of help with this guy."

Tina nodded"We'll try."

"I have no quarrel with the Emperor... but i suppose it would be fun" Kuja remarked.

Chalis began blasting Ventus with a scornful caress, resulting in a mix of blind, and the dark aura. Albeit, weaker, but the status effects were still painful nonetheless. She then chuckled"Shadow shield!" A chaotic dark barrier encased the duo.

"Your punishment is neigh little girl" Blados pulled his katana out of its sheath and launches Serenia in the air, mercilessly attacked her with a move simmilar to Clouds limit break, but instead of an explosion of mako, it was a dark slam.

Ventus usesd a remedy on himself and retaliates with a tornado spell and strike raid at Chalis. Serenia collapsed for a moment and weakly casts cura on herself before counterattacking with Strike Raid and going for Arc Arcanum at Blados. Blados easily got up and threw the first Kunai Shuriken but wasn't aiming at Serenia, which was strange, while attacking her

Chalis chuckled as she pulled out some kind of purfume bottle as strange looking smoke came out. Serenia stumbled back and countered Blados with Blizzaza and Strike Raid. Ventus braced himself, but the smoke from the purfume bottle made the fight a bit difficult for Ven, and Serenia was busy fighting against Blados

Chalis's soothing yet unsettlingly calm voice echoed"Veeeennntus..."

Ventus shrugged"Sorry, but I'm not falling for that!" He used Tornado.

Chalis dodged and attacked from behind"Yeah... too bad I always have a backup plan when it does fail."

Ventus staggered and retaliated with a combo and Strike Raid at Chalice.

"Embrace your death at the tip of my blade" Blados threw the second Kunai Shuriken, but again wasn't aiming at Serenia while brutally slashing at her and smirking.

Serenia staggered some and was almost on her last legs. She cast Curaga and unleashed a Ragnarok Combo on Blados.

"Serenia!" Ceodore cast protect on Serenia and went to attack Blados, powering up using his latent Lunarian powers. Blados blocked as he threw the last Kunai Shuriken at the nearby wall, as electricity began to pulse through his katana.

"Ha! You both have fallen into my trap! Spark Shuriken!" Blados firesd a 3 way beam at the Shurikens that were impaled on the wall, and when they connected with each other, a shock felt like Ramuh's judgement bolt.

Ventus gasped"guys!"

Chalis giggled"You should pay attention to your opponent." She then blasted Ven with scornful caress.

Ceodore staggered, but withstood the blow. Serenia nearly collapsed, but manages to heal herself and Ceodore.

Ceodore grimaced"We can't let him do that again."

Serenia nodded"Right. Let's bag this guy."

Ceodore rushed Blados with a slash, while Serenia attacks Blados from the side with Arc Arcanum. Aqua healed Ventus and casts a variety of elemental spells at Chalis. But nothing appeared to faze the two.

Chalis giggled"hmhmhm. Do you honestly believe that abilities like yours mean a difference in the future?"

"We are the heralds of destiny. you can sprout insignificant threats, as well as complaints all you want" Blados stated.

Chalis gloated in a creepy yet cheerful tone"But don't fret. I'm sure you'll probably kill us in Weyard's future."

"and the most ironic thing of it is, is that the cycle will start all over again" said Blados with a evil smile.

Serenia shrugged"Boy, are you two dumb. If Saxito destroys Kingdom Hearts, there won't even BE a cycle."

Tyler beamed"Yeah... I bet you two don't even know how Ultimecia's Time Compression works."

Lightning shook her head"I don't think they care..."

"All right, we need a new plan" said Tidus.

Yuna nodded"Right..."

"Hm. Those are certainly are dark-elemental based, perhaps there's some sort of dark barrier shielding them from attack. If so, Questa and I might be able to dispel it. Though it'll mean absorbing their darkness, which only Prince Taios can do, safely" said Yoran.

"Who said anything about kingdom hearts being destroyed?" Blados said.

Chalis smirked"The heart of all worlds would continue to exist... but it would be unusable or even stupidly protected."

Blados smirked as well"And by the way, we can easily hear your conversation. We were just about done here, anyways." The duo vanished in light, then appeared behind them.

Chalis smiled"As much as we hate to slice and run, I do believe that there's a certain Palamecian Emperor you all wish to take care of."

"But rest assured, when the time is right, we will appear again. But when we do, we will be sure to end your minor primitive existences." Blados (said as the duo did a dragoon jump away.

Serenia shrugged"Well, those two are out of our hair."

"Serenia, Ven, glad you're both okay" said Sora.

Tidus turned to attack the Emperor with Blitz Ace"You're going down, Mateus!"

Tina pitcheed in with Flare.

Mateus narrowly dodged the flare spell and fires a starfall at the group"This shall not be like the previous times you all have defeated me from before." Multiple manakin versions of Blados and Chalis started appearing"This time, I have brought reinforcements of brand new manakins" he stated in an amused tone.

Serenia cringed"The real deals were bad enough..."

Ceodore and Tina cast Shell and Protect on their allies. Sora charged at the manakins with Rising Sun. Tidus, Kain, Lighting, Riku, Cloud and Tifa joined in the fight while Cecil fired a wave of light at Mateus.

Mateus gasped as he was hit"... hmph, to believe that insects like the lot of you are even capable of destroying me. I rule heaven and hell themselves. And once i eliminate all of you. I shall control Saxito, Xehanort and all that ally with him."

"Not if we can help it" Serenia stated, attacking with Strike Raid. Yoran cast Holy on the Emperor, followed by an Arc Arcanum from Questa.

"My reign is absolute!" Mateus unleashed his lmit break"All is mine to command!" A giant cyclone engulfed the group as light started to gather mixed with electricity"lowly worms."

Serenia frowned"I don't like this."

"Brace yourselves!" Questa warned.

The light gathered to the point to where it exploded on the group. Sora and Questa cast Curaga on their group while Tidus retaliated with Blitz Ace, Kain and Ceodore cross slashed Mateus.

Mateus cast Curaga on himself"Your defeat is inevitable." But as he cast Curaga on himself, a blast of golden light attacked him from behind

Mateus was surprised"what?!"

Taios stood nearby, holding a keyblade with white and golden feathers while the blade part had a dark demonic feel to it"It's over, Mateus."

"You believe that it is? It is never over." Mateus summoned more manakins of Blados and Chalis while escaping. Sora, Riku, Lighting, Squall, Serenia, Cloud and Tifa engage the manakins and fought them off.

"Flare Slash!" Taios cried. With each hit, there was a small yet intense explosion. Tina, Serenia and Kuja attempted to pursue Mateus and looked around.

"What a smarmy coward" Kuja remarked.

Serenia shrugged"I guess so."

Sora helped clear the remaining Manakins while Cecil addressed the Sacred Key Kingdom Prince"Right on time, Taios."

Taios smiled"Yep, I'm back. I kinda respect Mateus to an extent, but nowadays... He's gone downhill, like everything is moving on."

Tidus shrugged"No kidding."

"Everything go okay with your dad, Taios?" asked Ventus.

Aqua glanced at the new keyblade"Your father's keyblade looks like none I've seen, Taios. If I may say so."

Taios shrugged"It was fine... And he said to me after I got it... That this keyblade was created from the hard choices he made when he was serving a dark keyblade master without any memories."

Yoran was puzzled"A Dark Keyblade Master... Could it have been Exoduxia?"

"You know him, Yoran?" Sora asked.

Yoran shook his head"Could've been a different Keyblade Master. I don't remember much about what happened during the time of the Keyblade War."

Questa shrugged"Still, Yoran and I heard of it from King Aaron."

Serenia, Kuja and Tina returned to the group. Kuja spoke up"Regrettably, Mateus got away."

Sora hrugged"I guess that can't be helped. Let's move on."

Taios nodded"He said that we're close to Ultimecia's room."

Squall tensed"Ultimecia is here... I can sense it."

Tidus smild"Right, time to kick her butt."

They entered Ultimecia's room, where the Sorceress herself sat in her throne. Ultimecia glanced at them"Warriors of Cosmos, I expected this. And yet, I see but another traitor in my midst."

Kuja: grimced"You wound me, Ultimecia. I wasn't going to face you at first, but Yoran and Saxito's Somebody insisted otherwise. Say, why don't you save us the trouble and turn off this Time Compression?"

Ultimecia stood up"It is too late, Kuja. Even if Time Compression is halted, Kingdom Hearts may already be irrevocably damaged. Bhunivelze would soon bring unto us his wrath. Unless you all wish to be absorbed into the time stream? I can certainly grant you that."

"Saxito is using you and Rinoa, Ultimecia. But I know you won't listen to reason. I will take you down here and now and save her!" Squall stated.

"You may try, Seed. Now, which amongst you shall I exterminate first? Ah, beggers cannot be choosers." Ultimecia launched a volley of magical projectiles at the group, particularly Squall and Kuja.

Taios looked at Ultimecia with a smirk"tell me, time witch... why do you even want to cause time compression? What purpose would that serve? I'll tell you the reason. To be even MORE lonely. To rule others under your grip with hollow words of saying that they'd love you... But in reality, you'd still remain alone. Forever a god, unable to die. Unable to love. Unable to see your own depths of insanity. Forever."

"Silence!" Ultimecia casts Blizzaga at Taios.

Squall attacked Ultimecia with Blasting Zone, only for her to retaliate with more magic projectiles. Serenia healed Taios and attacked Ultimecia with Strike Raid.

Taios attacked with Dark Drive as he said"That's just like you, Ultimecia. Always wanting to kill, but the one thing you will never have? is true love. The irony of it all is that you will remain forever alone. Wanting to get laid, but can't. That's just sad."

Ultimecia staggered and retaliated with Shockwave Pulsier and started casting apocalypse. Sora interrupted with Arc Arcanum, only for her to warp back and cast Shockwave Pulsier again. Taios began casting a flare spell, but when it hit the witch, the spell was more intense than she originally anticipated. As if his resolve was stronger.

Ultimecia staggered"Bah, I underestimated you."

"Ultimecia... Just stop. You've seen what we can do. You know what is going to happen to you, if you fight us. so really, what is the point to all this?!" Taios stated.

Ultimecia smirked"When I do the time compression... I will compress the god himself... and he will obey me... I will be a goddess who would control all life itself... and Xehanort will not take kingdom hearts for his own gain."

Tidus scoffed"You're just full of justifications."

Ultimecia snarled"That may be, I will not be so easily defeated!" She then transformed into a fusion of herself and the ultimate guardian force, Greiver.

Squall grimted"Humph, this won't be as easy."

Ultimecia started attacking with with Apocalypse.

"Damnit! we need to stop her, here and now!" Taios cried.

Squall attacked with his gunblade, followed by Arc Arcanum from Sora and Strike Raid from Serenia. Ultimecia staggered and retaliate with Firaga and Shockwave Pulsar.

Taios narrowly dodged and cast shadow breaker, then brutal blast, and finally unleashes Speed Wing limit break.

Taios: it's over! serenia, now!

Serenia nodded, and Attacks Ultimecia with Blizzard, followed by a Ragnarok Combo..

Ultimecia gasped"No... I refuse... to be erased... from time... I won't allow all of you to destroy me!"

"Time's up, Ultimecia. You're history" Squall said.

Ultimecia scoffed"You believe that, seed... but there is something I must do before that happens... and I will absorb the chaos to do it."

Taios cried out"No! You realize what would happen if you did that?!"

"But I must... and I will! hmhmhmhmh hahahahahaha!" Ultimecia laughed as the chaos itself began to engulf her and the area began to darken into what seemed to be outer space.

Sora looked around"Huh? What's up with this place?"

"Be ready for anything..." Squall warned.

Ultimecia appeared in a somewhat monstrous form and casts Ultima on the party"I am Ultimecia. time shall compress. all existence... denied. Bhunivelze controlled. I will be your salvation... for all time and beyond." She then firesd another Ultima spell as well as Meteor.

Sora, Questa and Yuna quickly heal their allies, while Ceodore cast Shell. Kain jump attackrf Ultimecia's upper-body, while Sora and Serenia zero in with Arc Arcanum and Strike Raid respectively. Cloud and Tifa used their limit breaks while Squall attacked with Lionheart and Kuja fired Ultima

Taios fired off with Shadow Breaker and dark drive"It's the end for you, Ultimecia! Guys! Trinity limit!"

"Gotcha" Serenia nodded.

"Understood!" Squall stated.

The three of them channeled their magic into a single spell"Light!"

Ultimecia's upper body was destroyed, and the illusion was turned into what seemed to be the Land of Discord, leaving the time witch herself barely moving, her clothes tattered and ruined, and her hair was frizzled. Without her accessories, she looked like a normal woman.

Ultimecia panted"... You... lot... are the most stubborn I've ever fought... If it even matters to you, I'll reveal your futures...before you face against the God of Discord himself..."

Sora was surprised"That's tempting, but why would you bother?"

"Because i used too much of my strength... and since I'm going to die anyways... I might as well tell you..." Ultimecia said.

Taios nodde"alright... what's going to happen to me in my future?"

"The world where you were raised in... Is going to merge with countless worlds for a time... centuries later... the people are going to forget and continue playing those video games...until all worlds in this universe fade to their respective timelines..." Ultimecia replied.

Sora was taken aback"Huh. That's interesting. And what about me, Serenia and Kairi?"

Ultimecia shrugged"... you two will die like everyone else... as for Serenia... Her future is unknown to me... weather she follows you, or marries someone will come on her own time..."

Sora frowned"Uh, still a bit of a uncertainly there."

"Okay, and how about Riku, Tyler and Master Aqua?" Serenia asked, trying not to flush.

"Aqua's future is far darker than she realizes. She will gain so much light in her heart, that she will forget about the darkness... and fear it like Eraqus had... and the tragedy will be greater than what tyler has witnessed. Riku will continue to battle against his own darkness, until he finds a wife of his own" Ultimecia stated.

Tyler whimpered a bit.

"Watch what you say" said Lightning.

"I'm sure most of the rest of us know our futures" Squall pointed out.

Sora nodded"True, but but what about Kain, Lightning and Tina?"

"Kain will be as he always has... a traitorous fool who will always cause change to the present... Terra will marry someone important to her... and Lightning... she will be frozen in crystal waiting the proper catalyst... after her death of serah..." Ultimecia said as she began to fade"Warriors of cosmos... may we meet again... in the past... or the future..." She then faded away, leaving Rinoa in her place as her old self once more.
