Warnings/Notes/Rating- Rated K+. Not really the Yusuke/Touya I wanted to try and write. No pairing this time actually. Just how Touya might have felt in the face of Yusuke unleashing the spirit cuffs… I forget which episode…. But during one of the Yusuke & Toguro Dark Tournament episodes. So a bit of noncanon framed within canon. I might come back later and flesh this out into something more. Not sure. Anyway, this is written for day 5 (2/2) of the YuYear 2017 event at tumblr, set to the prompt dull.

Drabble 34: Touya 3

Touya felt his heart shudder in the overwhelming silence of the stadium…in the wake of the explosion of Yusuke's emotions as the boy faced down the younger Toguro brother.
Yusuke's grief and power washed over them all—though there were many emotions he sensed from the boy, it was the conflict, the sorrow, the raw power that seized up everything inside the ice master as he sat there in the stands next to Jin. He didn't know how the wind master fared at the moment, but Touya was helpless, in the face of all that was Yusuke Urameshi.
He'd never felt anything like this in the countless years he'd lived, nor did he think he would again. And if he ever did, it was sure to be dull in comparison to what he was feeling and experiencing now…
