FrankElza: Thank you for the review. It is good that Ricky and her baby are back home. I'm glad you thought it was nice of Phoebe and Denny to congratulate her, I thought it would be nice as she never got a baby shower. I'm glad you found the scene where Casey did Ricky a card, cute, I liked writing it. I also liked the scene where Brax has a go at Casey. I'm glad the police got hold of Jordan too.

FrankElza: Thank you for the review and for checking the chapter over. Ricky's labour wasn't with having the surgery and then wake up, to find as you say, her daughter gone. I'm glad that Brax was able to get her daughter back before any harm came to her. Jordan and Andrew are both messed up as each other, it's no surprise that they are related.

Chapter 36.

The next day, after getting a little bit of sleep, Ricky headed in to the hospital and felt fear go over her as she headed in to paediatric ward, Nate and Hannah were surrounded by her daughters incubator. Had Olivia deteriorated over night? She felt vunerable, not knowing what state her new-born baby was in.

Nate seemed to recognize that she was there and asked for a word. Ricky nodded and followed Nate to his office.

"Olivia is doing well and we think it's time to let her go home"

"Really?" Ricky whispered.

"Yes, " Nate nodded. "She's hit her milestones"

"OK," Ricky replied, following Nate back in to the unit.

Hannah got Olivia out of the incubator and lowered her gently in to her mum's arms. For the first time, Ricky was able to see what her daughter looked like: She had blue eyes and milky skin, like her mums. Ricky gently ran a hand over her head, she had no hair at the moment, but when she did, would she have blonde hair like her or brown hair, like him. She pressed a kiss to her daughters head.

"I'll drive you home, " Said Hannah, she was on her lunch break.

"Are you sure you don't mind?" Ricky asked.

Hannah shook her head. "I'll just go and get changed, " She said, walking out of the unit after sanitising her hands and heading to the staff room.

Ricky waited for Hannah, sitting on the seats in reception. As Hannah come out, Ricky stood up, following Hannah to her car. She waited until Hannah had adjusted the car seat and then she put Olivia in before sliding in beside her.

As Hannah pulled up outside her house, Ricky suddenly began to feel nervous, this was it, she was on her own. She got out and went to get Olivia out of the seat, tucking the blanket around her.

"Thanks Hannah" She smiled.

Hannah waited until she was safely inside, before driving off.

Walking in to the living room, she lay Olivia in to the moses basket and put a blanket over her, but as soon as she did, Olivia wailed. Ricky picked her up and sat on the couch and pulled down the straps of her top, guiding Olivia towards her nipple and she sucked the milk from her mum.

"Come on, sweetheart, I've feed you" Ricky said, walking around the living room floor. Still, Olivia continued to cry.

After she'd finally got Olivia off to sleep, the baby monitor clutched in her hand, she sank down by the living room door. One thought was in her mind:

"I can't do this"

And checking, Olivia was asleep in her cot, teddy and blankets around her, Ricky ran out of the house, in to the dark night.
