OKAY NOW HERE'S SOME PRE-HoO DEMIGOD POV FOR Y'ALL
(Also it's musical season again and I'm in it again so let's see if I can find time to update. My fingers are crossed and I s2g Brie you better fucking remind me to write.)
Dustin Emery's POV
Who would've thought that a great person like me would become even greater overnight? I'm already awesome, and now I'm the son of a Roman god?
Well, it's kind of expected, with me being me.
This wolf thing brought me to a place called Camp Jupiter. I doubt you've ever heard of it; it's kind of exclusive. Only people like me get in.
And now I'm here, standing in the back of a group of rows, a part of something called the Fifth Cohort. I mean, they're all losers, but with someone like me around, they'll become the best Cohort around... whatever a Cohort is.
As the centa-whatever is calling roll, I zone out (of course they'll know I'm here), and my eyes fall on an angel.
Well, not an angel, more like a female knight in shining armor.
She has long, braided brown hair, and tanned skin. She's wearing heavy-looking armor, and a purple cape flares out behind her. She's riding a pegasus of all things, and her back is straight and her head is held high and I've never seen a more serious person in my life.
Basically, she's hot.
I'm about to walk up to her and say hi when the kid next to me grabs my arm and pulls me back in line with a shake of his head.
I'll talk to her eventually; how can she say no to a guy like me?
THIS LINEBREAK IS OFFICIALLY UNDERTALE TRASH.
I don't see the mysterious girl again until a few weeks later during lunch. Now I know who she is; her name is Reyna, she's the Pray... uh, Pray-something, and she's not dating anyone. And apparently, there's a spot for Pray-something that's open.
My plan is really simple; get the job, talk to Reyna, watch as she instantly falls in love with my greatness. How hard can it be? Back home, I got all the girls; they all loved my amazing looks. And maybe my personality, too, but when they broke up with me, they'd always say that's the problem.
Oh, well; I'm sure she'll love me regardless.
I walk up to her, brushing my hair back and putting a swagger into my step. "Hey, babe," I purr, catching her attention. Her glare is something I've never quite seen; oh, gods, she doesn't have something wrong with her, does she? No social issues, right? "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"
She looks back at me and shoots me a death glare. "No, but I got a few scratches when I crawled up from Punishment. You're on probatio. Don't test my patience."
As she walks away, I find myself walking after her. This feeling of rejection is new, and I really don't like it. How do I handle these new feelings?
I don't like dealing with my feelings, so I run after her, grabbing the edge of her cape. "Wait! I know you like me, and you're probably playing hard to get, so why don't you just accept it? You've fallen, babe, and you've fallen hard."
Usually, when I say that, the girls give up and are all over me. But not Reyna; her glare just intensifies as she grabs the collar of my shirt and pulls me closer to her face. For a brief moment I think she's about to kiss me, but then I realize that the fact that she's towering above me and she's looking at me like I've just killed her sister tells me otherwise.
"Listen up, pretty boy," she growls, and I notice that the room has fallen silent. Everyone's watching. "Call me 'babe' again and Hannibal might accidentally step on you. Deal?"
I gulp and nod, and she drops me to the ground. I scramble back to my seat before she decides to come back and actually hurt me; that chick is terrifying.
What was I thinking?
Ugh I write way too many self-centered characters. But they're fun, so oh well.
I could've done better with this (AND IT'S WAY TOO FUCKING SHORT CRI), but it was mainly supposed to be for comedy. I hope I delivered.
Also, everyone go on my friend Brianna's story (InsertPhenomenalNameHere) and spam her Mortals Meet story with reviews calling her a copycat. And actually review; the story's really damn good for only being 3 chapters.
So, musical season. Rehearsals are gonna be more frequent this year, so... lucky me. I'm gonna do my best to find time to write, but I don't know if I can update that frequently. I promise you that I'm not going on hiatus unless I absolutely need to this time.
QoTD: Favorite side demigod? (Nico and Reyna don't count because they become main characters.)
Megan's Answer: It's always been Silena Beauregard, and I have no idea why. I dunno, I just always resonated with her, and I loved every scene she was in.
