It turned out that no one was expelled, not because she couldn't know whose idea it was to save Adrianna, but, quote, "I should have expected this from Potters." Of course, either way, Abigayle didn't care. She was just happy that things were on their way to being back to normal.
Well almost normal.
Victoria would still glare at her, but no longer openly attacked her. Adrianna was jumpy around her. James continued to look at her funny. But, everyone else stayed rather calm and easy. They weren't going insane, at least.
Speaking of insane, that's exactly what Abigayle was thinking. She was going insane. he couldn't stand it. It was so loud. They knew she was there. They knew she needed quiet. But no, the moment she was out of the hospital wing she was back to being yelled at and pushed around by these. . . these. . . people.
She couldn't say they were her friends, but they were. She wasn't meant to have friends though. Which was why she was trying extremely hard to get away from them, but they just wouldn't leave her alone!
Abigayle looked up from her book with a glare to notice James still staring at her, which had started since she was still in the hospital. Her eyes then shot to the two girls yelling at each other. Rose and Ally, the two quietest people, who the hell would have thought?
I hate them. I hate them all.
It was the only thing she could think as she looked back to her book. She tried to read it, but the irritation of the staring pointed towards her was pissing her off too much for her to do much of anything. Her eye twitched slightly, but she continued with her attempt at her book.
It was a few more moments of staring and loud bickering that finally caused her to snap. She slammed her book closed, and stood, glaring at the people in the room, James the most.
"What. Are you staring at?" She nearly hissed it out. He continued his staring, and when he opened his mouth to speak, she interrupted. "No, I know what you're staring at, I just don't know why!"
Quickly turning to the bickering girls she sneered at them, "And what are you trying to do? Trying to become the new Lyn and Victoria? Trying to replace them now that Lyn is gone, and Victoria has no one to fight with? Get over yourselves."
She turned to leave when Victoria spoke up, "That was unnecessary. I thought you were Lyn's friend too."
Not turning back to any of them, she responded, "I am friends with no one. I'm not meant to have friends. It is not my purpose. My purpose is to carry out the plan that I'm sure you all heard Lyn say something about." Abigayle then slowly turned to look a surprised Victoria in the eyes. "My plan was the reason for her death wasn't it?"
With a smirk at the finally silent, probably from surprise, room, Abigayle turned back and walked from the room. Once out of the room, and making sure no one could see her, she leaned her back against the wall, and lowered her head as the tears sprang forth. Once she realized that she couldn't hold them back she began to run down the hallway, still crying.
The room stayed quiet after she had left. James was the first to say something.
"She can't just do that. Can she?" James continued to stare at the door, more worried for Abigayle than anything.
Ally laughed quietly, and with a smile looked to James. "Idiot. Don't miss the perfect chance She Who Must Not Be Named gave you. Go help the poor girl."
James just looked in confusion to Ally before realizing what she meant. With a sigh, he stood and ran from the room, hoping to find Abigayle soon. He didn't want something to happen to her.
It took him a while to find her, and when he did, he was glad to when he did. She was under one of the trees in the court-yard, shaking with the force of her tears. She was crying, but doing it silently. He wouldn't have thought she was crying at all, except for the way she was moving with her tears.
"Abby? Abigayle, are you ok? Look at me." He kneeled next to her, holding a finger underneath her chin to try to turn her to look at him.
Abigayle's eyes opened, and Jame's widened as she moved quickly, and pain exploded on the side of Jame's face with a loud crack.
