My heart skips a beat in fear. Not for happiness or nervous, just a fear. I feel like something terrible is going to happen.
I don't even know why I'm feeling scared all of a sudden. I just hope this feeling of mine will be gone. ~Novilene Cruz
Reid heard someone whimpering, immediately grabbing his glasses to see Novilene is shaking back and forth. It clicks his mind she's having a nightmare.
"Lenny..." Reid called her name worriedly.
"No... please... I..." Novilene muttering and shaking in fear as her tears leaking out of her eyes.
"Lenny..." Reid was about to grab her shoulder. Novilene's instinct kicks in and holding Reid's arm. "Novilene!" He screamed to get her senses back.
Novilene gasped, opening her eyes to see she grips Reid hard enough to get bruises around his left wrist. Letting go of his wrist and sit up straight to gain her normal breathing. It wasn't her intention to break Reid's arm, especially the nightmare happened to be her mother's death.
"You're having a nightmare." Reid informed her and twisting his right wrist gently. "What did you dream about?"
Novilene turns on her lamp right next to her bed. She examines Reid's wrist gently and sighs heavily. "It's just a sprain and you shouldn't move your wrist if I were you." Dodging the question and Reid frowned of her sudden behavior.
"Lenny."
"Spen... please." She begs and closing her eyes. "It's hard to say."
Reid frowned and nodded his head. He knows Novilene is stubborn enough not to tell everything about her. He gives her enough space to tell when she's ready to tell everything to him.
"I understand, come here." Novilene didn't hesitate to cuddle her boyfriend. "I know that you're a former IMF Agent. I don't even know what you were doing on that job. I'm here for you... you have to know that I'm here for you."
"Salamat (thank you)." Murmuring and hugging him gently. "Sorry for almost breaking your wrist."
"It's fine. It didn't hurt much." He assured her and stroking her soft silky black hair. "We should get some sleep."
"Mmm... I love you Spen."
"Love you too, Lenny."

"So..." Morgan raises his right eyebrow at Novilene and she returned with a clueless look on her face while drinking her tea. "Are you pregnant yet?"
Novilene spits the drink right through Morgan's face and coughs heavily. Prentiss holds her laugh of Morgan's misfortune while Gideon just smirk. Morgan wipes the tea all over his face and glared at Novilene playfully.
"Mini Gideon..." He fakely growled and Novilene smiled sheepishly.
"You caught me off guard!" She defended herself and Reid handed a tissue towards Novilene then accepts it. "Thank you. For the last time... hindi ako buntis."
Morgan stared either Reid or Gideon to translate it for them. "I'm not pregnant. That's what Mulan said." Gideon answered.
"Mini Gideon, you only taught me Filipino numbers from 1 -20, older brother or sister, younger brother or sister, thank you and sorry." Morgan ratted out and Novilene blinks her eyes innocently. "Don't give me that look, bunso (younger sister)."
"I preferred to teach you simple thing because your brain couldn't handle much pressure anymore." Novilene pointed out and she received a glare from him. "Love you?"
"How did Maricar handle Alex and Kevin, Cruz?" Hotch asks Novilene curiously and she banged her head on the table. "I take it they don't get along."
"You have no idea." She sighs heavily. "It's like we're having a World War 3 when Alex comes by to visit. Throwing lame insults and heck, even Spen, Maricar and I almost became a victim by their pranks."
"Ohh... I bet Maricar wasn't happy about that." Morgan spoke up and feels sorry for the elder lady Cruz.
"She didn't. In fact, I decided to do a hard way for them to get along." She told them.
"You're going to use that, Mulan?" Gideon asks her daughter curiously. "You and Jay used that before because Maricar forced you to."
"Whatever your plan is, I feel sorry for them." Morgan feels sympathy for the two boys.
"Let's hope it works." Novilene commented and sighs as Reid patted her shoulder.
JJ joins in and showed them the picture of ribcage broken bones. She sighs heavily. "1996." She spoke up. "The ribcage of a male was found in the Desert Rose National Park. It was never identified." Showing them another picture of a decapitated arm and torso been cut through the ribcage. "This morning, the remains of two victims were found in almost exactly the same area."
"Well, one year later is cause for concern, but 10 years?" Emily raises both of her arms. "That could be a coincidence." She commented.
"It would be..." Reid muttered and flipping through the folder. "If the unidentified male wasn't missing, a right rib bone." He explained.
"Not to mention... the torso found this morning is missing exactly the same bone." Novilene spoke up when she examines the picture then placing it on the table.
"Both of them seem to be surgically removed, and the advanced rate of decomposition on the male means that he died far before the female." He explained.
"Oh, Katherine Hale." JJ spoke up and showing them another picture of a woman. "They found a bracelet on her wrist. She ran away about two weeks ago from her small Colorado town." She explained.
"Unsub's crossing state lines." Hotch pointed out. "He's mobile."
"If the remains are related to the same killer, where's he been for 10 years?" Morgan asks a rhetorical question.
"Killing." Gideon answered and opening the brown box to reveal the cold case that relates to this case today. "Unsolved case files going back 30 years."
"That's a lot." Novilene commented and grab one of the files.
"Every case, the victimology is the same." He explained. "The unwanted. This box is just the tip of the iceberg. 13 cases spanning 30 years. Same M.O. Right rib bone is missing. It's him, Hotch. It's the same killer."
"All the remains were dumped in remote areas and always near interstate 80." Hotch explained. "And up till now, no remains this intact or this close to the actual time of kill have been found."
"Never two victims dumped at the same time in the same place." Gideon commented and Novilene analyzes the case.
"All of these killings the work of just one man?" Prentiss asks Gideon curiously.
"The most prolific serial killer ever."
Golconda Police Station ||Golconda, Nevada ||
Novilene, Prentiss and Reid went towards the Police Station whereas Hotch, Gideon and Morgan are at the crime scene. She noticed most of the police officers aren't happy to see them.
"Is it just me, or do you get the feeling that we're not welcome here?" Reid asks the two women curiously right after they showed them their badges.
"It's not us, Spen." Novilene answered. "It's what we represent."
"Ditto." Prentiss agreed with her. "Government's not all that popular out here." She explained.
"No, no! You can't make me go." The three Agents noticed the woman is struggling to escape from the officer's grasp. "I know what my rights are! No, don't make me go! No, I don't want to go home! I know my rights!"
"Come on!"
"What are you looking at, Princesses!?" The woman noticed their looks.
"Okay, okay!" The officers grumbled and held her shoulders. "If that's the way you want it, Jane, back to jail."
"Ok, ok, ok." The woman, name Jane immediately agreed then shoving the officer to grab Novilene's collar to pull her close. "He's coming. He's coming back, and there's nothing you can do about it!" Holding her tight that it started to form bruises around her neck.
Novilene remained calm and never show any sign of pain as she held her both wrist, to let her go. "Do you hear me!? Nothing, nothing!" Jane exclaimed angrily and Novilene handed her over to the Police officers. "Ah! Ah!" She was being dragged by the officers.
Prentiss noticed Jane dropped something on the floor and grabs it. "Excuse me, she dropped this." She informed the Police officers then receiving a look from him. "It's harmless."
Novilene fixes her collar and cough lightly. She didn't expect this woman could grip her that hard. Reid frowned seeing faint bruises around his girlfriend's neck and was surprised she didn't show any pain.
"You okay?" Reid asks her worriedly.
"Yeah, she grips hard-" They heard someone played the whistle.
"A psycho with a whistle." He commented and Novilene gives him a deadpanned expression. "That's not too weird."
"I wonder what makes her go crazy?" Novilene spoke up and looked curious about the woman while stroking her neck.
"How's the neck, Cruz?" Prentiss asks her worriedly.
"Bearable. She didn't grip it that hard." Novilene answered.
Novilene removes her blazer to reveal her light blue long sleeve because she couldn't stand the heat. Reid wanted to bang his head why is Novilene torturing him so badly knowing it wasn't her intention to do it.
"Early toxicological investigations of the victim's blood indicated high levels of Ketamine." Novilene explained while staring at the computer as Reid handed the paper over Hotch.
"Ketamine is primarily a horse tranquilizer." Hotch pointed out. "It's also used as a date-rape drug. In street Lingo, it's known as being stuck in a K-hole."
"So his victims were completely conscious when he killed them?" The town Sheriff, George Davis asks them curiously and Novilene nodded her head. "Imagine what she must have gone through."
"It's essential for this Unsub that he sees the terror in his victim's eyes." Prentiss spoke up. "That is what gets him off."
"He's either had medical training, or he's honed his skills over the years." Hotch explained.
"Look for a man in his mid to late-fifties, highly intelligent, methodically and obsessively clean." Gideon spoke up.
"His vehicle is most likely an RV, muted in color, neither old nor new, in perfect working order." Novilene explained.
"It will have a CB, radar detectors, and police-band radio." Morgan pointed out. "All these things have helped him evade you."
"And this vehicle is his killing room." Hotch spoke up. "It'll be soundproofed. Surgical instruments are on the walls. There's a stirrup chair or an autopsy table in it."
"All of his kills are recorded- if not on video, in a journal that he carries with him in his right-hand inside jacket pocket." Gideon explained.
"How could you know that?" Deputy Rick Siglock asks Gideon curiously.
"Tool marks on the remains indicated that he's left-handed." Sheriff Davis informed them.
"This man is void of all normal human feelings." Gideon pointed out.
"We have roadblocks on every interstate, track or laned in or out of this town." Deputy Siglock commanded his officers. "We'll shut down this state if we have to."
"Stop every RV, truck, and trailer." Hotch informed them.
Novilene noticed Sheriff's distant look and decided to approach her. "Something trouble you, Sheriff?" She asks Sheriff Davis curiously.
"You're too young to join them." Sheriff Davis spoke up with a smile on her face. "I shouldn't judge your appearance because there are more things from you aside from your beauty itself."
"Thanks... usually I end up getting judgemental looks from other people." She spoke up and smiled back. "It's nice for a change that I heard someone who didn't judge me back."
"It's their loss for thinking you lowly." She shrugged her shoulders. "That profile you gave, it reminds me of a story I once heard."
"From who, Sheriff?" Novilene questioned her curiously.
"There's someone you and Gideon should meet." She told her.
Sheriff Davis is taking Gideon, Novilene, Prentiss and Reid to meet someone. Novilene blinks her eyes to see the same woman, Jane, who chocked her an hour ago. She opened the door and smiled at the woman. "How you feeling, Jane?" Sheriff Jane asks her curiously.
"Siya? (Her?)" Novilene muttered and Gideon gives her a look. "Sorry, she almost chokes me and saying, 'he's coming and there's nothing we can do about it'." She explained to her father.
"Who?" Gideon asks her and Novilene shrugged her shoulders.
"No clue."
"Jane, these people are from the FBI." Sheriff Davis told her and Jane turned around to see three familiar people she met. "I'd like you to tell them your story."
"Why, so they can make fun of me, too?" Jane asks Sheriff Davis coldly.
"No." Novilene answered and Jane looked surprised to hear her answer. "Is that a handmade whistle? It's very pretty." She compliments her.
"Did you make it?" Prentiss asks Jane curiously as herself and Novilene approached her.
"It was a gift." Jane spoke up proudly and held the whistle that attached the string then handing it over to them.
"Oh." Prentiss and Novilene examined the whistle.
"What happened to you, ma'am?" Novilene asks Jane curiously.
"Aren't you too polite, pretty lady." Jane compliments Novilene and she shyly smiles. "My car broke down. The engine went out on me and... you know, in those days, they didn't have cellphones, so I tried to fix it myself. Then I felt presence, and then everything went white." Reid, Gideon and Novilene shared a look. "I was in a spaceship and I could see myself. It was like time was suspended. I could feel everything and there were strange maps on the walls- diagrams of all the stars. I was cold. It was very, very cold." She stands up. "And the alien, he did things to me. He touched me... very softly, and he stroked my hair, and he drew lines all over my body, and the whole time, he was standing there smiling down on me. And then I looked into his eyes... and I wasn't afraid anymore. I don't know why." She looked down.
"Then what did he do?" Gideon questioned Jane.
"And then I... was back in my own bed, and it was next morning." Jane answered while Novilene is taking down the notes to translate it everything one she gathers enough information about Jane's incident.
"How long ago did this happen?" Prentiss asks Jane curiously.
"I was 19." Jane answered and giggling. "It was 30 years ago."
"And did you ever see him again?" Novilene asks Jane.
"Oh, I see him. I see him everytime I shut my eyes." Jane answered.
"Thank you for telling us, ma'am." She thanked the woman.
"Please, just Jane... pretty lady."
"Sure." She closes her notebook.
They left the prison and Novilene couldn't help but feel sympathy towards Jane. Jane stayed the prison for 30 years because she's afraid that he might come and find her.
"The strange maps on the walls could have been anatomical drawings." Reid spoke up and Novilene nodded her head.
"Diagrams of all stars... means it contains surgical equipment that are hanging on the wall." Novilene spoke up while reading her notes as Reid leads her in case she bumps someone without watching her surroundings.
"What about the fact that she could see herself?" Sheriff Davis asks them.
"A mirrored ceiling." Gideon answered.
"So his victims could see themselves being dismembered." Prentiss explained.
Sheriff Davis shakes her head sadly. "Everytime I think it can't get any worse, it does." She told them with a sad smile on her face.
"Her subconscious mind..." Novilene spoke up and gently closes her notebook. "Has created a delusion that she was abducted by an alien."
"It's possible she's the only one who's survived." Prentiss pointed out.
"Why did he let her go?" Sheriff Davis questioned them.
"She said when she looked into his eyes, she felt relaxed." She answered.
"And in that moment, the one thing that he wanted... she didn't give him." Gideon spoke up.
"Fear." Novilene told Sheriff Davis.
Novilene couldn't help but feels like something terrible is going to happen. Reid noticed her distant look and patted her shoulder to come to her senses back.
"Is everything okay, Lenny?" Reid asks her worriedly.
"I feel like something bad will happen, Spen... it's not related to this case." She told him the truth. "I can't help but feel uneasy. How's the wrist?"
"It's feeling better now and your neck?" He questioned her well-being.
"It's fine as well."
"We set up a nationwide tip line, but all we've got so far is white male, mid-to late-fifties, tall, with a medium build." Hotch explained it to Deputy Siglock and Sheriff Davis.
"From the remains discovered this morning, we know he doesn't keep his victims long." Gideon pointed out.
"We've got more cops arriving by the hour to help find this guy." Sheriff Davis informed the Agents. "We also put out a nationwide A.P.B. "
"If he is still in this town, and we believe he is, he was absolutely no way out." Morgan commented.
"What are we waiting for?" Deputy Siglock asks them curiously. "Let's ho catch this S.O.B."
Morgan is partnering Novilene as they ask a question about the Unsub but they have no idea where he is. He noticed dark circles around her eyes and decided to ask her.
"Is everything okay between you and Reid?" Morgan asks Novilene curiously.
"Yeah, he is worried about me as usual." She answered and smiled.
"Of what?"
"I just had a nightmare and nearly break his wrist." She rubs her arm. "It wasn't intention he just trying to wake me up."
"That explains the bandage around his wrist." He noticed Reid's bandage around his wrist because Novilene almost breaks it. "Remind me not to wake up? Next thing you know, you throw my body while you were sleeping." Trying to light up the mood and didn't bother to ask her nightmare.
"I'll keep it in mind." She chuckled and both of them decided to join their team back.
They searched the entire park and the team thought the Unsub didn't use the RV but an American made truck instead. It all makes sense to Novilene why they couldn't find it because it's hard to look for it.
To make things worse, Sheriff Davis was kidnapped by the Unsub. The BAU are checking all over her place to see if they're still here or not. However, they have no luck of finding her.
"Clear!"
"All clear!"
Novilene places her gun back to her holster and showing no signs of any danger. She couldn't believe the Unsub barge in the Sheriff house to kidnapped her.
"Silo, Silo, don't touch anything." Morgan warned the Deputy Siglock. "We need to profile this room."
"Profile!?" Deputy Siglock asks Morgan with a disbelief look on his face. "You said the call was made 5 hours ago by the Unsub right outside this house!" He pointed at them angrily. "Now what's the profile!? He took George!"
"Why?" Gideon muttered and Novilene silently exhale.
"All right, we need to work fast." Hotch ordered his team.
"All right, she enters the house, and then it's habitual." Morgan spoke up.
"Ok, she drops her keys, hits the answering machine, takes off her gun belt." Prentiss explained and Novilene nodded her head.
"Then moves throughout the kitchen." Novilene spoke up and kneels down to smell the spilled liquid all over the floor in front of the fridge. "Dropping the grape juice and was about to grab a gun seeing an intruder invading her house... considering the gun is missing from her holster." She pointed out where the holster stayed then stands up.
"He's taken anyone of prominence." Gideon spoke up. "Why take the Sheriff?"
"And not her gun." Hotch commented.
"The Unsub used the Ketamine on her and didn't bother to take the gun with him as well." Novilene whispered low enough to hear by herself and realizes something. "Deputy Siglock, call your office. See if she was planning to meet anyone." She hopes her subconscious is false if the Unsub wanted Jane since he didn't kill her. The half-Asian is looking for the syringe to back up her theory.
"No way a cop would take chase without their gun." Morgan spoke up. "Definitely looks like she tried to make a go for it"
Novilene noticed her boyfriend found the syringe she's looking for and smiled. "He used the Ketamine against her." She told everyone and points at Reid direction when he held the syringe using the green towel.
"But she didn't make it." Reid spoke up.
"Guys..." Deputy Siglock called them. "George brought crazy Jane home with her."
"Why?" Novilene questioned the Deputy curiously.
"So, he takes control of George, then goes after what he came here for." Morgan answered.
"Crazy Jane." Prentiss spoke up.
"Umm... is it the 49-year-old woman we spoken with Sheriff and the one who almost strangled me?" Novilene questioned Deputy Siglock and he nodded his head.
"Those footprints. They got to be Jane's." Morgan spoke up and staring down the footprints. "They go to the back. She escapes. The Unsub knows the Ketamine's gonna wear off, so he got to act."
"No." Gideon replied. "He hasn't got what he came here for."
"So for leverage, he takes the Sheriff, which means sooner or later, he'll contact us." Hotch informed them his phone ring then accept it. "Katherine Hale's cellphone just came back on in the middle of town."
"Let's do this." Deputy Siglock told everyone.
"He thinks we have Jane." Gideon pointed out.
"He wants a trade for his Jane and our Sheriff." Novilene spoke up.
"Whatever he wants, we need to find Jane and the Sheriff fast." Hotch informed them. "You go to town, we'll go to Jane's."
Hotch, Reid, Prentiss and Novilene went to the porch as both women noticed the same whistle from Jane, wind chimes are hanging around in front of the house.
"Guys!" Prentiss called them. "These wind chimes are made of bone!" She told them.
Novilene cringed in disgusted and shaking her head lightly. This is the worst case she ever encounters. "The wind chimes are made out of human rib bones." She told them and feels like going to vomit seeing it.

Julia pleads to her sister-in-law, not to kill her as she steps back away from her, while she remains blank expression.
"Novilene, please... I'm begging you." Julia whimpered and but the woman who looks exactly like Novilene, showed no remorse of killing the Agents that been a sign up for her protection detail.
"Do you really think that I'm your sister?" She scoffs and smirked darkly. "I look awfully like her but... we're different, farewell... Julia Meade."
BANG!
She shoots Julia's head and stared at her men. "Destroyed everything, we're done here." The woman ordered them.
"Yes, ma'am!"
The woman covers her face using a ski mask and called someone on the phone. "Sir, Julia Meade is dead. What's your next step?" She asks her boss.
"That's it for now... come back to Russia, we're going to set Beatrice Wells free soon." The man explained his accomplice through the phone.
"Copy that." She walked away and let the men handle it everything. "This is the consequence for not giving us what you wanted, Novilene Cruz. The past bites you back and I wonder... what will Ethan Hunt reacts... if he thinks it was his stepsister who killed Julia but not me? This is getting interesting."
"She's not here." Hotch told them when he comes out of the porch to look for Jane and Sheriff Davis.
"Well, he's obviously been here before and left these gifts for her." Reid pointed out when he and Novilene are helping Prentiss to take off the wind chimes.
"It's a wonderful gift that Jane has." Novilene commented sarcastically. "It's sooo rooomantic. It is every girrrls drrream to have it." Rolling her tongue and placing it inside of the evidence bag.
"Couldn't agree on you more, Cruz." Prentiss and chuckled at her sarcasm.
"His version of romance." Hotch pointed out.
"Spen, if we're going on a date that freaks the hell out of me... I'm kicking you out of my house." Novilene threatens her boyfriend and he raises his eyebrow at her.
"Maricar will kill me first before you. When she wants to know where I'm taking you for our date." Reid spoke bluntly and Novilene smiled.
"I love her." She giggled. "He is coming back here because the Unsub is crazy in love with her." Changing the subject.
"Are you being serious right now, Cruz?" Prentiss asks her with a shocked expression.
"It is impossible." Reid denied the idea of the Unsub is in love to Jane. "A sexual sadist can't feel love."
"Well, define love." Hotch spoke up.
"Love is in the air~!" Novilene said it overdramatic and he smirked at her jokes. "Sorry... chemically, it involves surging brain elements called monoamines, dopamines, norepinephrine, and serotonin." Changing the subject and shakes her head lightly. "Did I say the right word, Spen?"
"You do." Reid assured her. "Love chemicals controlled by phenethylamine, also found in-"
"Chocolate." Prentiss cut him off. "I love chocolate."
"Peas, too! It's also found in peas!" He exclaimed and Novilene couldn't help but burst out laughing at his rambling. "Lenny!"
"Sorry, I couldn't resist." Novilene holds her laugh. "We need to focus the case. Right now, we're off the topic."
"Cruz is right." Hotch agreed with her. "Spread out, everybody. Keep looking."
"Hotch, can we see what's in there?" She asks him curiously and pointing where the abandoned barn is. "If we can't find anything in this porch, maybe we could find some clues over there."
They moved out and Novilene kicks the door with her gun. "FBI!" Novilene yelled and checking her surroundings. Silently moving as Reid pulls down the curtains to see an RV. 4 BAU Agents lean against the RV and Novilene silently opened the door to let Hotch through.
"Clear." Hotch told them.
Novilene gasped of what she's seeing right now. She couldn't believe the Unsub is creating the RV into a torture room. The way Jane describes her abduction, 30 years ago, is exactly what it looks like.
"I don't believe this..." Novilene muttered sadly and lowering her gun.
"I thought I'd seen everything." Hotch commented.
Novilene looked down and noticed something. "Guys, it's a coffin." Kneeling down and opened it to see a dead body of a woman that looks similar to her dead mother, her throat been sliced off by the Unsub. "Oh my gosh." Immediately closing it before she could have a panic attack.
"Hotch, there's another coffin over here." Prentiss informed their Unit Chief.
Hotch opened the other coffin to see Sheriff Davis is still alive. "It's okay. Don't try to speak. We've got you." He assured the Sheriff.
"Prentiss, I... need some air." Novilene told Prentiss and she stared at her worriedly.
"Everything okay?" She asks the young woman curiously.
"I... need to get out of here... please.." She whispered and pleading at the woman.
"Hotch, I'm taking Cruz somewhere." Prentiss informed Hotch and she dragged Novilene out of the RV.
Novilene is trying to regain her normal breathing while Prentiss rubs her back gently. Prentiss could tell she's having a flashback seeing her hands are shaking.
"Do you want to count 1 - 10 with me?" Prentiss asks her worriedly and she shakes her head. "I was planning to buy a cat, can you help me to buy one for me?" Trying to lighten up the mood for her sake.
"I... I'm more of a dog type, Prentiss." Novilene spoke up and smiling sheepishly at her. "I don't think my Husky dog, Sky, is going to be happy if I smell like cat."
"Talk about jealousy..." She snickered and Novilene just chuckled. "Now, there's that smile I'm looking for. How are you holding up?"
"I'll be okay once we caught him." Novilene answered and sighs heavily. "Sorry about my semi-panic attack, it's just that... the dead body is a bit like my mom. It gives me a flashback."
"I understand.." Prentiss nodded her head in understanding. She looks behind to see Hotch and Reid are approaching them. "Hotch and Reid are coming."
Reid immediately goes to Novilene's side and caressing her cheeks. He didn't care if his colleague sees him being PDA towards her or not. All Reid ever cares is Novilene's well-being.
"She's a bit like your mom, isn't it?" Reid asks Novilene in a soft tone and she nodded her head sadly. "That almost cause you a panic attack."
"Yeah." Novilene whispered and leans on his touch.
"Do you need a break, Cruz?" Hotch asks Novilene worriedly.
"I'll be fine as long as I don't see her." She referred to the dead body.
"Of course, we should meet Gideon and the others." He patted her shoulder. "Let me know if you need a break."
"I will, sir."
Novilene is happy to see Sheriff Davis finally reunite to her husband. She could tell Gideon and Morgan find out who the Unsub is.
"He killed Tommy's teacher. I saw it." Sheriff Davis told her husband.
"Oh." Mr Davis murmured sadly while stroking his wife's head.
"Annie. She was just 40." Novilene flinches lightly of the dead woman, Annie, who looks like her mother, was surprised how Sheriff Davis knew her. "What's wrong?"
"They found the school bus abandoned just outside of town." Mr Davis told his wife.
"Tommy's supposed to be on that field trip. Where is he?" Questioning her husband.
"Safe. He's fine." He assured her but Novilene could tell there's more than that explanation. "He's with my mom. But that man, he also killed the school bus driver."
"How?" Sheriff Davis stared at the BAU Agents. "We had the whole town shut down. There's no way out."
"What was the one vehicle we weren't looking for?" Hotch questioned them.
"A school bus." Novilene answered.
"More importantly, where are the children?" He asks curiously.
They heard the siren and the police officer comes out of the car. "Sir, I found her walking the streets." He informed them.
Hotch hold Jane's arm to get off the car gently. "Jane, he's been coming back to this town for years to see you." He told her.
"All of those years? Why?" Jane asks Hotch curiously.
"He says he's in love with you." He answered.
"He's in love with me? Why!?"
"He hides out in your old barn, and he watches you, and when he leaves, he leaves this wind chimes as gifts." Prentiss explained it to Jane.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" Jane questioned Prentiss.
"They're not beautiful." Novilene answered. "They are the remains of people he took, tortured, and killed. He's not an alien, you were abducted by a serial killer."
"But did he come for me, didn't he?" She questioned Novilene. "Not George! He came for me, didn't he?"
"That's what he says." Hotch answered.
"You told me to run," Jane reminded Sheriff Davis. "But I didn't want to run. I wanted to see him again. To see his eyes and see his face. And I don't know- somehow it just felt like I was coming home."
Novilene couldn't believe Jane is being blinded by love to a serial killer. If she was in her position, Novilene is going to send him to prison despite experiencing a heartache.
"Jane!" They turned around to see Morgan and Gideon dragging the man, who killed both male and female.
"Oh!" Jane was about to go with the man he loves, Novilene held her back.
"He has the children, Jane!" Novilene informed Jane while holding her back.
"He has our children." Deputy Siglock reminded Jane.
"And we will find them." Morgan assured the Deputy and Sheriff.
"And if we don't, they'll die of exposure!" He threatened them. "He hasn't got Tommy, George, but what if he did?" Deputy Siglock asks Sheriff Davis curiously. "Hand him over."
"Silo." Sheriff Davis called his name in a warning tone.
"What choice do we have?" He asks them.
"Not this one!"
"Tell them, Jason." The man, Frank, the serial killer, spoke up. "Tell them I'm not interested in harming children. You've studied me for years. Have I ever once harmed a child?" He questioned Gideon. "It does nothing for me. Give me Jane... and they'll have their children back."
"Is she part of this with you?" Deputy Siglock asks Frank in a cold tone.
"Look at her, Rick." Sheriff Davis spoke up. "She's not a part of anything. She's as much as his victim as you are."
"With Jane in my life, I will never harm another human being." Frank assured them.
"Oh." Jane is letting out happy tears and was about to approached Frank, Novilene held her back.
"Leave her alone!" He yelled and glared at the young woman who held his Jane.
"Hey! Don't even think about it." Morgan warned Deputy Siglock and push him away from Frank.
"No matter what you do to him, he will never give you what you want." Gideon told everyone
Novilene hates to say this out loud in front of everyone, her father is right. Most of the criminals are determined not to give what you wanted. She happened to be one of the victims, who didn't give them what they wanted. In return, her mother was slaughtered right in front of her eyes.
"I'm telling you, Rick, they'll find the children." Sheriff Davis assured him. "Trust me."
"Take me with you, Frank." Gideon told Frank. "Just you and me."
"And my Jane?" Frank questioned Gideon as his eyes never left of Jane's face.
"You'll take me to where the kids are?" He asks Frank.
"Happily." He answered and stared at Gideon. "I couldn't have that on my conscience." He smirked.
Novilene leans on Reid while he strokes her head. It feels like all her energy been drained by that case. The whole BAU team are riding on the airplane to head back home. They failed to catch Frank, however, Gideon vowed himself he's going sent Frank back to prison when the hunts start again.
"I dreamed about my mom last night, Spen." She whispered and Reid looked down at her.
"What about to that dream?" He whispered and pulls her close.
"A memory... how she was being tortured and killed right in front of me." She closes her eyes to prevent herself from crying.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Kissing at the top of her head. "Len-"
Her phone rings and Reid let go Novilene. Novilene sits up straight and answered the call.
"Hello, Ma?" Novilene greeted her grandmother.
"Serenity..." Maricar is sobbing through the phone and Novilene frowned of hearing her cry. "How long are you and Spencer coming back?" She questioned her.
"We're going to land safely, Ma. What happened?" Novilene asks worriedly and Reid leans closer to hear their conversation.
"It's Ju-Ju-Julia... apo (granddaughter), she's dead." Maricar cries harder and Novilene dropped the phone.
Novilene feels like she couldn't breathe. Julia Meade, the wife of Ethan Hunt, is dead. She sobs and Reid hugged his girlfriend.
"No, no, no, no!" She yelled and everyone stared at the couple worriedly.
Reid grabs Novilene phone and talks to Maricar. "Maricar, it's me. Can you tell us everything later once we land?" He asks the elder Cruz.
"Su-sure. Ta-ta-take care of her." She stuttered and ends the call.
"Julia, Julia..." Novilene whimpered and hugging Reid. "She-she-she can't- I don't believe her..." Crying more into his arms as Reid rubs her back.
"Reid?" Gideon asks his colleague worriedly.
"Julia, Ethan's wife... is dead." Reid answered Gideon sadly and comforting Novilene.
They stared at Novilene in sympathy look. None of them didn't know what to say anything towards the broken young woman.
