I got a kindle, a carrier for the kindle, Catching Fire movie cover, a new copy of city of ashes, the book thief movie cover, 60 euro vouchers for my local supermarket, The John Green collection, 2 pairs of pyjamas, a dressing gown and electric blanket (that doesn't even work) a watch earphones, a Robert Sheehan calendar and a TMI poster which I already had (Woops mam Haha.) I might also be getting tickets to wicked, fingers crossed I can go and the seats are ok.

Chapter 36: The announcement.
*CLARY'S P.O.V.*
* 3 weeks later*
Last week Jace and I moved back into the institute after Magnus confirmed that it was unlikely Jack would develop any serious illness, like we feared he would because he was born 2 months early, even though he was perfectly healthy we still thought something might go wrong.
Jace and I have gotten into the habit of taking Jack into bed with us when he won't sleep at night, now I'm afraid it'll be very hard to sleep train him when the time comes.
For a 3 week old baby Jack is very good and sleeps quiet well at night, it's only some nights he won't sleep.
He's a very giggly baby, he always laughs at Simon. It also seems dad is now his favourite, instead of Magnus. Jack loves it when dad's around and when he plays with him, you can see it by the way his little face lights up, it's so cute.
After the best night's sleep I've had since before I got pregnant with Jack, I wake up to the sun streaming in the window.
I reach for Jace but instead of wrapping my arms around him like I intended to, I feel the soft texture of the sheets. I open my eyes to see the bed is empty and so is Jack's mosses basket.
I see a note on Jace's pillow. I take it and unfold it.
'Clary, I woke up and saw you were still asleep and didn't show any signs of waking, so I decided to let you sleep. Alec and I are going to take Jack to the library and read him a few baby books. So I'll either be in the library or in the kitchen.

I smile and get of bed.
I decided to check the kitchen first.
When I get in I find Jace standing at the stove making something that smells amazing. I see Alec sitting at the kitchen table, with Jack in his arms bouncing him gently making him smile broadly and giggle.
Jace is the first to notice me. I walk over and kiss him.
"Morning, did you have a nice sleep?" He asks. I smile.
"Best night's sleep I've had since before I got pregnant." I say.
I walk over to Jack and Alec and kiss Jack's cheek, causing him to giggle. I sit down beside Alec who's smiling broadly.
"Did you give Jack a bottle Jace?" I ask.
"Alec did." Jace says.
"Oh thank you Alec, did he fuss?" I ask.
"No he took it straight away; he's in a very good mood this morning." Alec says.
"That's good." I say.
Just then Izzy- who is now five months pregnant- and Simon walk in, holding hands. They sit down beside Alec and me.
"Hey guys." Alec says.
"Hey." Izzy says.
"How's Lily?" I ask.
"She's good, I think she's gonna start to kick really soon, she's moving a lot." Izzy says, rubbing her belly.
"We have another ultrasound today; we get to hear the heartbeat." Simon says.
"We never heard Jack's heartbeat when Clary was pregnant." Jace says, setting a plate of pancakes in front of me. I Smile broadly at him and thank him.
"You were unconscious when we heard the heartbeat. It was when Clary was really sick and I took her to the doctors and they did an ultrasound." Alec says. Jace frowns; obviously upset he missed hearing Jack's heartbeat.
"Ok, there's no way in hell I'm missing hearing our next baby's heartbeat." Jace says. Poor Jace, I wish we had have gotten a video of the ultrasound instead of a picture.
Jack suddenly fusses in Alec's arms when he sees Izzy.
"Do you want to go to aunty Izzy?" Alec coos. Jack smiles, as if saying 'Yes.'.
Izzy smiles as Alec hands Jack to her.
"Hey sweetie, you're getting so big!" She coo's setting him down in her lap.
"Clary, Izzy and I have something to ask you." Simon says.
"What is it?"
"We were talking last night and we thought, since you asked me to be Jack's godmother, and you're our best friend that it only be right to ask you if you would like to be Lily's godmother." Izzy says. I'm shocked, I honestly didn't expect this, but I'm honoured.
"Of course I will! Thank you so much for asking me!" I say, standing up and hugging Izzy and Simon.
Being asked to be such an important person in Lily's life has made my day.
*JOCEYLN'S P.O.V*
I hold Luke's hand tightly as we wait for the picture of our baby to come up on the ultrasound screen. Neither of us can wait to see her for the first time. We're going to tell everyone I'm pregnant, tomorrow.
Suddenly a very clear picture of the baby appears on screen.
Luke gasps and tears of joy roll down my face as we see our little girl. Our perfect little girl, Abigail.
"That's our baby." I whisper to Luke, turning my head to look at him.
"She's perfect." He says, and kisses my hand. I smile and look back at the screen.
"Well you're a little over 3 months and you're baby is very healthy. Would you like to hear the heartbeat?" The doctor asks.
"Yes." Luke eagerly says.
"Definitely." I say. The doctor presses a button on the machine and suddenly the sound of Abigail's heartbeat fills the room. I gasp; it's like music to my ears.
"I haven't heard something so beautiful since Clary was born." Luke whispers.
"Me neither." I say.
A few minutes later while the doctor is off printing a picture for us, Luke places his hand on my bump.
"Remember when you found out you were pregnant and you handed me the pregnancy test saying 'I have a present for you'?" He says. I nod.
"Well I just wanna say thank you, because this baby is the best gift you could ever give me. I love you both so much and I can't wait till she's born so I can hold her." He says. Oh Luke, he's so sweet, it's no wonder I fell in love with him.
I softly press my lips to his and whisper
"We love you too."
*Jonathan's P.O.V*
I smile broadly as I play with Jack, who is lying on his play matt in the living room at mom and dad's. I feel so much better and my wound is healing really well. I love playing with Jack, it's an excuse to be immature and be the child Valentine never let me be. Obviously that's not the only reason I love playing with him.
Suddenly there's a knock on the door.
"I'll get it, if I can; I think I might be stuck." I tell Clary. She laughs and I somehow manage to get up.
When I answer the door I see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life.
Her brown hair is in two plaits either side of her head. She has a green, gold sort of eyes, they're beautiful. She looks about Clary's age.
"Oh hi, I'm Maia, are you Clary's brother?" She asks. I feel a blush rise to my cheeks, I don't blush! What's going on?
I find my palms becoming all sweaty.
When I try to talk to Maia I find my throat has become dry. I blush more and clear my throat. What's gotten into me?
"Uh sorry about that. Uh yeah, I'm Jonathan but you can call me John." I say. She smiles.
"Nice to meet you John." She says, extending her hand. I wipe my hands on my trousers and shake her hand, when our skin touches I get butterflies in my stomach. Seriously, what's going on with me? I've never felt like this before.
"Nice to meet you too." I say.
"Is Clary here? I heard she had the baby and I thought I'd come visit her." She says.
"Uh yeah, come in." I say.
I sit beside Clary on the couch and watch as she and Maia hug and Clary let's Maia hold Jack.
I think about what could be going on with me, but then it hits me.
I like Maia, I like like her.
*Magnus' P.O.V.*
Today's the day. The day I tell Alec the most important thing I'll ever tell him.
I take a deep breath as I sit beside him.
"Alec I have something really important to tell you." I say.
"What is it?" He asks. I take a deep breath as Alec takes my hands.
"Alright. I've thought this through for a few months now, and I have finally reached a decision I'm happy with, and when I say this, I really really mean it.
Alexander, I'm going to become Mortal."
