Anybody wanna take a guess on what Xehanort is talking about? On a side note, if anyone wants to suggest other FF characters (if you're going to bring up characters form spin-offs or sequels, I will require a brief rundown on the character), then I'd love to hear it. But there's no guarantee that I'll use the suggestions within this story, but I might consider using them elsewhere to sate the cravings of my dear readers. That being said, I hope you like!

I've noticed these past few weeks that you have been secretive. May I inquire as to what you are working on as of late? If you are willing to answer my question, then I would like to hear it.

Braig informed me that you are curious of my activities.
I am performing experiments of my own, and have found very intriguing results. Unique creatures spawn from the darkness of the heart, hunting like animals for what could sustain them. I call them 'Heartless'.
But let me ask you this: what reason are you curious about my experiments?

I have my own reasons. However, a shadow is cast upon my family, and I would rather not drag my brother into the suspicions against me.
Perhaps whatever experiments you are doing might be able to help me achieve my goals.
Xehanort's Message to Vayne Solidor
I see. You've been living in the shadow of another. I heard about the death of your father, and the suspicions on you.
Come and meet me at the computer room in a week. We will discuss your intentions privately in our laboratory, and find out what I can do to help you. Do not worry about your brother. I'll see that his attention is diverted elsewhere, and that someone is keeping watch on him.
