Its next day's early morning. Some are awake while some are still deep asleep. The others who are awake are sitting in the dining area, chatting about anything and everything.
"Yaar aaj match hai India aur Srilanka ka! Kash yaha par ek TV hota!" Abhijeet frowns while taking a sip of his hot coffee. Tarika shakes her head "Bas yahi reh gaya hai tumhari zindagi mein! Cricket and cases! Kabhi kabar apni biwi ka bhi khyal rakh liya karo! Shaadi se pehle toh bade aage-piche ghuma karte the. Aab sab pyaar kahan gaya?!"
Everyone hides their smile and tries to concentrate on their breakfast, tea and coffee while Abhijeet-seeing no one looking them, smirks, leans closer and whispers in Tarika's ears "Janeman! yahan se ghar wapas jaye baad me dikhaunga mera pyaar!" Tarika glares him and he just continues drinking his morning coffee with the same smirk.
Daya coughs a little and says "Waise Abhijeet filhaal toh hamein decoraters ke paas jana hai, so chale?"
"Haan haan chalo!"
"Daya!" Shreya interrupts "unhe apni coffe toh khatam kar lene do! Khud ne mug bharke chai pili auur Abhijeet sir ko ek cup tak khatam karne nahi de rahe!"
"Oh god Shreya! Kitna suna diya! Abhijeet! Bhai tu apni coffee khatam kar le! Teri bhabhi ko warna bura lag jayega auur meri band baj jayegi!"
Abhijeet thanks Shreya and drinks the rest of the coffee in one big sip. Daya and Abhijeet rushes out to meet the decoraters while chatting in dining area continues.
"Arre! Yeh ACP, Purvi, Rajat, Pankaj, Nikhil, Aashi, Vineet yeh sab kahan hai? Koi dikhai nahi de raha!" Salunkhe's eyes moves across the table to confirm if he was right and if someone from these people was present there or not!
"Aashi ke paas aaj pehenane ke liye koi dress nahi thi toh Vineet aur Aashi mall gaye hai. Pankaj ACP sir ke sath caterers ko milne gaya hai aurr Nikhil, Rajat sir aur Purvi abhi tak so rahe hai!" Shreya speaks her last word while smirking at girls! Salunkhe and other notice these and understand the thing. But Vivek asks in confusion "yeh Rajat sir aur Purvi ka toh samaj me aata hai der tak sona but Nikhil…?"
"Unka bhi toh banta hai!" Divyana laughs and the males are confused seeing this.
"matlab?!" Sachin asks with keen interest "Aur yeh tum itna has kyun rahi ho?" he raises his eye-brow. Divyana keeps on laughing while girls try not to see anyone or they will be bombarded with same questions. Salunkhe gets irritated if he doesn't get any answer so he orders Divyana to answer in a strict tone. She is taken aback by this sudden strictness in their sweet Salunkhe sir's tone but seeing just irritation due to curiousness on his face she laughs a little before answering " sir wo actually hamare devar sahab ko ek dulhania mil gayi hai. Kal raat ko hum ladkiyo ne use range haatho pakada tha uss ladki ke sath!" she laughs "uska muh dekhne layak tha uss waqt!"
Tasha also joins Divyana "aur wo toh ese darr gaya jaise ki koi bhoot dekh liya ho!" Tasha laughs while Vivek hides his laughter seeing Freddy's face on hearing the word 'bhoot'. Everyone laughs hearing about Nikhil and plan to tease him. Suddenly Sachin asks "lekin yeh ladki hai kaun? Kya hum log use jante hai?!"
"Jee nahi!" Tarika answers "who ladki nikhil ko ek reception me mili thi. Tabse dono ka chakkar tha. Ab toh uss baat ko, yani ki un dono ke relation ko teen mahine hone ko aye hai!"
"Teen mahine!" Sachin's eyes go wide "aur iss bare me aap mese kisi ko kano kan khabar nahi lagne di use? Abhijeet sir, Daya sir aur ACP sir ke rehte hue wo itni der tak yeh baat chupa paya wohi bohot badi baat hai!"
"Haan who toh hai! ACP ki ankh se koi nahi bach sakta. Patanai isne kaise kar liya!" Salunkhe wonders and the he asks suddenly "lekin fir tum logo ko kaise pata chala?"
"Woh sangeet ki raat ko jab purvi der raat ko lauti tab meri nind khul gayi darwaze ki awaaz se! Tab mein sone ki koshish kar hi rahi thi ke thodi der baad muje firse darwaaza khulne ki awaaz suni. Mene dekha toh Tarika apne bed par nahi thi aur pani ka jug bhi full tha. Muje kuch ajeeb laga isliye uske piche gai, puchne ke liye ke kya hua" Shreya smiles sheepishly seeing Tarika glaring her as she knew Shreya was following her because she thought that something was wrong with Tarika.
Shreya takes her gaze from Tarika and continues "jab mene usko follow kiya toh mene dekha ke tarika ne pehle ladko ke room me jhanka auur phir niche jakar, bahar nikalkar auto pakad ke kahin chali gayi! Mene use waha bhi follow kiya aur dekha ke woh koi ghar ke samne auto rukwakar andar chali gai. Mera dimag ulti jagah par daudne laga. Bure khayal ane lage. Itni raat ko Tarika ek anjaan ghar ke andar kyun jaa rahi hai? Auur bohot se sawal aa rahe the ke tabhi mene dekha ke Tarika ne doorbell nahi bajaya nahi darwaaze tak gayi. Balki ghar ke pichle wale hisse ki taraf chal di madam! Muje auur darr laga key eh Tarika kar kya rahi hai! Mene dekha wo ghar ke kisi window se kuch dekhne ki koshish kar rahi hai, naki ghar ke andar jaa rahi hai! Mere sans me sans aayi" she laughs at her way of thinking and adds "jab mene wahan jaker Tarika ko pucha ke woh kya kar rahi hai and all toh pehle toh woh shock ho gayi but fir usne muje who dikhaya jo dekhkar mere hosh udd gaye!" she shows an 'OMG!" look and all straightens up to hear more of this interesting incident.
She at first watches everyone with some unsure looks and then decided to tell everyone about what she saw in that house. So she sighs and says "Meine aur Tarika ne dekha ki hamare Nikhil bhai sahab jinko gaano ka ek antara bhi nahin aata who uss ladki ke samne, on knees romantic gaane gaa rahe hai! Auur to auur bhai sahab raat ke do-teen baje couple dance kar rahe hai. Aur dekhne se..." she coughs a little "esa lag raha tha dono kafi nazdik aa gaye ho! Kafi romance ho raha tha dono ke bich!" she digs her eyes on her breakfast, unsure of how to meet their eyes. Everyone present there had same expressions.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable and so Freddy decides to distract people a little bit from the word 'romance'. So he asks to Divyana "Divyana, tumhein kaise pata iss sab ke bare mein?"
She laughs and replies "kal raat ko jab Shreya aur Tarika ne iss bare mein bataya toh hamse raha nahi gaya! Isliye raatko jab purvi lauti toh usne hum sab ko jagaya aur hum sab baad me Nikhil ki girl friend ke ghar gaye. Thodi der unn dono ko khidki se dekha but fir darwaaza khat-khatakar andar ghus gaye!"
"Seriously, aap sabko usska chehra dekhna chahiye!" Tasha laughs and handovers her mobile phone to male groupl. They all gather around Salunkhe to watch the video. Before the video starts, tasha speaks "mene yeh khidki ke paas rehkar record kiya. Nikhil bichare ko toh pata bhi nahi tha ke uski recording ho rahi hai!"
They all watch and hear the video and when it ends, everyone bursts into laughter.
Vivek comments while laughing "esa lag raha tha jaise kisine shock diya ho use! Uska muh dekhne layak tha!"
Salunkhe also says "mene use itna embaressed kabhi nahi dekha. Itna lal, tamatar jaisa ho gaya tha bachha!"
"Arre yeh toh kuch bhi nahi, uss waqt uska muh socho kaisa hoga jab ACP sir, daya sir auur Abhijeet sir usko iss baat ke liye chidhayenge!" freddy says these words and all again starts laughing hard. That's when they hear Rajat saying "kya hua? Itni hasi aaj dining area me?"
He sits and Shreya goes to take some hot coffee for her senior. She returns when Rajat was already watching the video with a smirk playing on his lips. When video ends he takes his coffee and says "Nikhil ke bachhe! Ab tu dekh! Bohot chidhane ka shaukh tha!" he says to Salunkhe "sir ab use pata chalega jab sab log milkar kisiko bakra banate hai toh kaisa lagta hai!" he sips his coffee while thinking about Nikhil and others also completes their breakfast while having a chat on how to tease and irritate Nikhil.
When almost everyone were done with their breakfast or coffee/tea, that's when Purvi also enters. Rajat's back faces Purvi so he was unaware of Purvi coming but Tasha, who was sitting facing Purvi saw her coming and shouted "Vivek, ankhe band karo Rajat sir ki!"
Vivek and others are taken aback by this but when Tasha pointed towards Purvi, Vivek understood and before Rajat could see what Tasha was pointing vivek covered his eyes.
"Yeh kya harkat hai Vivek!" rajat growls. Vivek apologieses but doenrt leave him "I'm sorry sir but Purvi aa rahi hai auur aaj ke din aapko hum purvi ko dekhna allow nahi kar sakte!" rajat frowns in reply "lekin who toh haldi ki rasam hone ke baad na! aabhi se kyun-?"
Salunkhe answers "kyuki esa mene kaha hai! Thodi masti hum budhe logo ko bhi toh karne do!" Rajat frowns furrther internally but doesn't struggle further to free his eyes.
On the other hand Purvi watches all this happening and recognizes Rajat from his hairs though all she could see was his back and his red t-shirt which he usually wore at night. She understands everything when Vivek covers his eyes. She sees others and that's when she watches Shreya coming towards her. She sighs as she knew that Shreya was coming to blindfold her too.
As she thought, Shreya blindfolds her while Vivek blindfolds Rajat. Rajat and Purvi are unable to see anything but they could hear, so they try to hear each other's voice. But all they could hear is everyone asking whether they could see through or not.
While Rajat is having his coffee with a frown, he hears someone sitting beside him and Shreya saying "Ek dusre ko dekh nahi sakte! Lekin sath sath beth toh sakte ho na!" Rajat could feel the smile forming on his lips and his heart thudding hard against his chest.
For some time, he doesn't do anything but soon his leg starts to slide down his left side. He removes his chappals and moves his bare feet right and left and up and down till he finds her feet. He smiles while sipping his coffee and when he hears everyone talking about haldi's function, he lifts his leg to move it up and down on her leg. He feels that leg of her sliding slightly towards his side and he smiles. He takes it positively and slides his other hand towards her. he finds and takes her hand in his and squeezes it when he hears a whispering voice "Sir, meri izzat matt utariye please!" his mouth forms and 'o' and he removes cloth from his eyes to see Vivek sitting next to him. His eyes start swiftly to move across the table and finds Purvi sitting with her back facing him. He glares Vivek while others laugh out louder than ever. He hears purvi laughing too and Tarika and Tasha murmuring something to her.
He is irritated and so scolds Vivek "itna ganda mazak karte hue sharm nahi aayi?"
Vivek is shocked seeing Rajat angry. He stutters "sir Salunnnkhee sir-"he keeps mum after speaking this and Rajat goes away from there without saying a word.
He is walking through the corridor towards his room when Purvi pulls him from behind a pillar. He is shocked and before he could recognize the person, he is pinned hard against the pillar. He watches her with an unusual expressions when she speaks "Salunkhe sir ne apni masti ko end kare diya!" he frowns hearing the name "Woh toh karna hi tha. Itna bhadda mazak karne ke baad agar woh aab bhi tumhe dekhne se rokte toh pata nahi mein kya kar leta!"
"aap kise bewkoof bana rahe hai? Sab jante hai ki aap hamesha apne senior ki respect karte rahenge, no matter what!"
"issi ka fayda uthaya unhone!" he hisses "tum batao, agar tumhare sab senior junior ke samne agar koi tumse esa mazak karta, tumhein embarrass feel nahi hota?"
She smiles "agar unhe embarrass karna hota toh vivek ko nahi kisi ladki ko bethate aapke paas!"
He thinks about this and realizes that it was just a joke and he should not have gone away from there like this. She watches the change in his expressions and says "Don't worry! Mein hoti toh mein bhi issi tarah react karti!" she pulls his cheeks sweetly. He smiles and turns her around. His hands circle around her waist and his face digs in her neck.
He asks while kissing and pecking her shoulders "Kya tum hamesha ke liye meri hone ke liye ready ho? Nervous toh nahi ho'ogi na kal?" she laughs and turns around to dig her face in his chest. He says "tum janti nahi kal ka din mere liye kya hoga!" she raises her head to meet his eyes. He smiles at her and cups her face saying "par tum dekhna yeh kal ka din jitna mere liye special hai use zyada yeh tumhare liye special bana dunga!" he leans and pecks her on lips before leaning back and saying "wait for the surprise!" he smirks and she couldn't help to laugh seeing him smirking.
They both move towards the dining area without any further romance. When they again enter the dining area where all usually talk after having breakfast, they hear all talking about Smruti. No one reacts on their entrance or they just show that everything is fine and normal.
Salunkhe watches Rajat sitting with a guilty face and eyes downcast. He smiles and says "Rajat ab bhul bhi jao. Mein tumse naraz nahi lekin haan agar tum mujse naraz ho to please maaf kardo muje!"
"sir please!" he shakes his head "aap sorry maat kahiye. Aapki galati nahi!"
Atmosphere is again uneasy so this time Shreya changes the subject "Purvi, Rajat sir! Smruti aa rahi hai aaj raat ki flight se!"
"Oh my god!" Purvi squeals "meine toh almost socha wo nahi aayegi!"
"Aese kaise nahi aati?! Hum sab khich ke le aate!" Freddy says confidently
All agree and continue their chatter for some time and then moves to their respective rooms for getting ready for the function.

It's almost the time when haldi's function should be getting started. Guests start arriving. People are chatting when bride and groom enter hand in hand in yellow outfits. Some compliments are heard
"kya couple hai yaar!"
"kitne ache lag rahe hai dono!"
"Purvi and Rajat are looking so beautiful together!"
They both hear some compliments and smile at each other. They are seated on bajoth and function starts. One by one everyone starts to apply turmeric paste on their body and wherever they find skin without the paste.
When the function ends, both bride and groom are covered almost fully with turmeric paste. They both stand up and they see Abhijeet and Tarika bringing a white cloth. They understand that this is the moment when they will be banned to see each other for one whole day. Their eyes meet. Without caring about guests and their team members, their seniors and juniors watching them, they keep looking at each other when they see the white cloth sliding in the picture and their eye contact breaks when they couldn't see anything except the white cloth in front of them. They reluctantly lower their gaze and teasing starts. People make all sorts of comments while Rajat and Purvi just stand with a smile, enjoying every moment as they knew this is also the best moment when they are not together but still with each other. The way they are waiting for tomorrow's beautiful day, they knew this waiting will end with a beautiful moment. They knew a new beginning is waiting for them after the end of this lonely life where all they had to do was wait for the end of life.
A/N-God! This was the hardest chapter I didn't know what to write! Anyway I hope this is not bad if its not good.
I think there will be two more updates before this story ends. I am not sure if I will be able to wrap everything in one chapter. So probably two more chapters and then it's THE END!
I know I am saying this almost 10th time now, but what to do yaaro! It's my first fic which is going to end. Thoda to emotional hona banta hai! ;)
And yes! Sorry for making you all wait. I was free but was not sure whqat to write. But I guess next chapter will be up fast, but don't let your hopes go high. I might not update chapter soon enough for you all. But ill anyway try!
