To Wake up Happy

Po's head was swirling around when he woke up. He first noticed the ceiling. He turned his head to the right. It seemed normal enough. Then he felt something on his belly. He looked down to see a little baby panda looking at him with red eyes. "Dada!"

"AHH!" Po exclaimed startled. He stumbled out of bed. "Ow!"

"Hehe," the panda giggled from the top of the bed.

"Po, what are you doing," Said a tired voice from the other side of the bed. Po quickly got up to see Tigress in his bed.

"Tigress? What are you doing in my bed?" Po exclaimed. Tigress sleepily looked at Po with a confused look.

"It's our bed, Po. We're married remember?" Po's eyes shot open. Then the little baby panda climbed on top of Tigress. "Hey Pogo," She smiled, taking the toddler in her arms.

"Wha," Po stuttered. His brain was swimming around. Married? Just yesterday, he could remember waving everyone goodnight and crawling to bed. Now he was married to Tigress? Po held his head. "This doesn't make sense," He said under his breath. Tigress, still holding Pogo, felt Po's head with the back of her hand.

"Are you okay, honey," Tigress asked, which threw Po for a loop. "Are you ill?" Knowing that him acting out would probably end badly for him, Po decided to go along with it.

"Um...Yeah...sweetie," Po said awkwardly, "I just have a little headache." Tigress smiled a bit and kissed him on the lips. Po grinned with a happy goofy smile as Tigress went to the kitchen. He slapped himself back to reality and started talking to himself.

"Okay Po, you're in some kind of world where you're the Dragon Warrior, you have children, and you're married to Tigress,"He said the last part in a dreamy state. He shook his head. "Focus man! Something's wrong. I must be having some kind of weird dream," Po suggested. That didn't work because if he was, he would have been awake by the slapping of his face. "Okay, what do I do. Wait," Po said as he rushed to a mirror in the room. Po looked a just a hair older and taller than he remembered. He didn't know how he got that scar on his eyelid. He looked at his hand to see a ring on his finger. Po breathed in and out. "Okay, I just need to figure out what I'm doing here and figure a way back. Maybe I slept too long and went forward in time." Po thought. Po started walking out the door. He passed the kitchen where Tigress was feeding Pogo. He noticed that the kitchen was much bigger and that the barracks were very quiet. Something was very off.

Then he decided to go to the Training Hall. When he got there, he saw a little white tiger boy punching the swinging wooden soldiers. Po thought that it may have been a new warrior to the Jade Palace. "Hello," Po said out loud. The boy stopped and turned around. He also had green eyes and a black vest with white pants. He looked at Po weirdly.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" He said, "Isn't it time for breakfast?" That surprised Po. Dad? Had Po a son? The panda's blank stare worried the white tiger as he waved his hand in front of his father to get his attention. "Dad!"

"Huh? I'm sorry...um...son. I... I'm a little out of it, today," Po replied. The white tiger smiled.

"Did you fall out of the bed again?" He asked. Po only shrugged. He assumed that he did this often. "And why are you calling me son? It's me, Jin-Ju."

"I'm sorry, Jin-Ju, my brain has been a little scrambled today," Po answered. Just then, Tigress came in with Pogo.

"Ju-ee," Blabbered Pogo. Jin-Ju instantly tensed up seeing his mother.

"Hi mom," He said nervously, but Tigress's stern face was unmistakable.

"Jin-Ju, what have I told you about practicing early," Tigress said.

"You use to practice early," Po mentioned.

"Not the point, dear," Tigress growled at him.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to practice the jumping kick that Master Shifu taught me," Jin-Ju said. Pogo reached out for his brother. Jin-Ju sighed as he took his brother in his arms.

"Jin-Ju, I don't want you over training yourself," Tigress replied.

"Why not?"

"Because I said-"

"Because your mother knows what it's like to over train," Po butted in. He maybe in a reality that he doesn't know quite well, but he can still help people. "Training is good and you should be determined to do your best, but you shouldn't let that blind you to also helping others. Never let yourself get so carried away that you don't remember what you're doing it for." Jin-Ju thought about it.

"Bu bu," Pogo mumbled.

"And it seems Pogo needs you, right now," Po smiled. Jin-Ju laughed as the little one moved around in his arms. Unlike most, he actually liked his little brother. That would probably change as he got older but for the time it was okay. Jin-Ju went away to play with his little brother. Po felt Tigress leaning her head on his shoulder.

"You're a great father," She whispered. Po nervously chuckled. They both watched in silence as the boys played together. "You know, you owe me something," Tigress said, bringing him some juice she brought.

"What's that?" Po asked.

"A girl." Tigress calmly said.

"PFHTTTTT!"Po spat up his juice.

"Not the reaction I was thinking you would have," Tigress smirked.

"I'm sorry, it's just. That was unexpected," Po said clearing his throat. "So where are Master Shifu and the others?"

"He's with Delia," Tigress replied. Po looked confused. "You know, the old red panda lady he married." Po's mouth dropped. His master got married? That's something you don't see every day.

"Wow," Po said amazed.

"Why is that so shocking? You were the one who joined them together," Tigress said. She was really wondering why he was so shocked.

"I...guess I hit my head a little harder than I thought. I forgot about that," Po answered, rubbing the eye with the scar on it. Tigress smirked and stopped his hand.

"Did you also forget where you got that scar from," She whispered next to his ear.

"Let's say I did," Po said. Then he felt Tigress lightly bite him on his neck as she emitted a low grumbling that sounded like a purr mixed with a growl. Po got the message. "Oh," He said with a dry mouth, moving away from Tigress. She still smirked at his blushing face. "So, where are the others?"

"Viper is down at the tailor, Monkey and Mantis are working for your father, and Crane's with his girlfriend," Tigress explained.

"Oh," Po replied. It was a lot to digest. He felt like he needed to sit down. Suddenly, Po felt Tigress pull him by the hand outside to the barracks. He saw near a different part of the barracks a little house. "Whose house is that?"

"That's ours, Po," Tigress replied with a naughty glint in her tone. Po looked at her smirking back at him. They finally entered the house and Tigress locked the door behind them.

"What if the boys need us?" Po asked, clueless to the situation present.

"Don't worry, I had Master Zeng watch over them," Tigress said. That made Po pause.

"Master Zeng? He's a master now," Po asked. Tigress felt Po's forehead again.

"You must have hit your head really hard," Tigress said. "Ah, doesn't matter. You have some work to do."

"What's that," Po stuttered, noticing her subtle advances towards him as he was backed onto the bed. With his back laid out on the bed, Tigress crawled onto Po, pinning his hands down so he wouldn't move.

"You owe me a girl. So, you need to get an early start," She said almost sinisterly. Po gulped. Tigress chuckled as she kissed him. This was the better part of this world for Po. Tigress kissing him. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and started to kiss back. If he had traveled in time, then he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Tigress's lips were warm and welcoming but also dominating and overwhelming at times. Po soon started back, trying to get her to open her lips a bit. She did as his tongue rolled in. She moaned into the kiss as Po's tongue fought against hers. Finally, when they parted for air, Tigress had a fun-loving smile on her face. This was an unusual change of pace. "Po?"

"Yeah," Po said, wondering what she was going to do next.

"Do you really think you slept and traveled through time," Tigress asked. Po didn't know what to say. Then it clicked for him.

"This is a dream, then?"

"Not really, think of this as a possible future," Tigress replied. Po sighed.

"So, I have to go back to reality then?" Po said dismayed. Tigress kissed him again to cheer him up.

"Don't worry, all of this can actually happen. You just have to make the first move," Tigress replied.

"What's that?"

"Ask the Tigress you know on a date," Tigress said.

"I can't do that. What if it doesn't work out or I mess up?"

"You will mess up," Tigress smirked, "But it is what you learn from those mess ups that make the difference. You'll be fine."

"But-" Tigress stopped him with her finger.

"Don't worry about what might happen. You've defeated formidable foes. You can surely ask a girl out," Tigress smirked. Po blushed. "Promise me you will."

"I'll tr... I mean, I will," Po promised. "But before I go, or wake up or whatever, can I get another kiss?" He asked with a childish grin. Tigress chuckled and kissed him again with the same passion as earlier. Then Po felt his head swirling again.

The next time he opened his eyes, Tigress was gone. He was in his room as he heard the next gong ring. He sat up and yawned. He suddenly remembered everything in the dream. Just then, Master Shifu opened the door. "Dragon Warrior, I'll be at an official meeting. You and Master Tigress will be sparring together and working together in the valley." With that, he went away. Then Tigress popped into the door. She waited until Po got out of bed to say anything.

"Ready?" She simply asked. Po paused for a moment and made a bit of a frown.

"No," He said. This confused Tigress. "I was actually thinking of asking something of you."

"What's that?" Tigress asked curiously.

"Would you like to go out? You know, for a meal or something. Just you and me," Po said shyly. He was nervously shaking and the sweat on his head didn't help any. Tigress was quiet for a while.

"Po, are you asking me on a date," She asked for clarification. She didn't show any signs of anger, disgust, interest, or excitement, so Po didn't know what she was actually thinking. He simply nodded. Then it happened. Her face slowly turned into a small smile. "Yes, I'll go with you on a date." Po's eyes widened as he simply smiled. "After we spar."

"Of course," Po quickly said, catching up to her.

"What made you want to ask me now?" Tigress asked. Po gave a relaxed and amused smile.

"When I woke up happy," He replied.

The End
