May 9th, at 2:45 pm, the students of Kuroshitsuji High were preparing to say goodbye to classrooms and teachers for three months, and it was almost time for Fangurl and her friends to officially be called the Seniors of Kuro High. "C'mon Madam Red, can't we leave early? It is the last day," Grell reminded.
"I'm sorry Ms. Sutcliff, but rules are rules," Madam Red apologized.
"Finally, three months of not having to deal with Vampires or that," Fangurl said before pointing to Trancy and Claude.
"So, what are we gonna do this summer Sebastian?" Justin wondered as he leaned over to his best friend.
"We, are not doing anything, you will be staying far away from me this summer," Sebastian replied.
"But Sebastian, I had plans for us to go do things," Justin responded.
Fangurl called Sebastian over to her desk. "Wanna make a bet?" she asked.
Sebastian grinned. Every time the two friends made a bet, it was usually entertaining, no matter the crazy circumstances. "Sure, what's your poison?" the Demon asked.
"Get Justin to come over to your house and spend the night tonight," Fangurl stated. "And he has to stay all night. If he leaves early for whatever reason, you can end the contract with him."
"Alright," Sebastian agreed.
"But, if he stays all night and even wants to come back, you have to keep the contract going even after high school," Fangurl finished.
Sebastian dropped his jaw. "You mean there's a possibility that I could be stuck with that Asian for the rest of my life as my 'best friend'?" he questioned. "Yet I could also end it as soon as tomorrow?"
"Is it a risk you're willing to take?" Fangurl asked.
"Fine, you got a deal," Sebastian said.
"And I'll be checking up on you guys periodically through the night," Fangurl replied. Sebastian stood and walked back over to his desk and began to talk with Ciel. Slyly, Fangurl slinked over to Justin's table. "Hey Justin, will you do me a favor?" she whispered.
"Yeah, what's up?" the Asian asked.
"I need you to make me a list of your favorite things," Fangurl requested.
"Okay," Justin agreed. He pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, and wrote down several things for Fangurl.
"Thank you," Fangurl said as she took the paper. "You will not regret this."
She walked over to Sebastian and handed him the paper. "What's this for?" Sebastian asked.
"You should be thanking me," Fangurl responded with a grin.
"Why is that?" Sebastian wondered.
"Because I had Justin write down a list of things he absolutely hates, so you can use this to your advantage," Fangurl said.
"Why would you want to purposefully sabotage yourself?" Sebastian asked.
Fangurl shrugged. "I don't know, got nothing to lose I guess," she replied.
Finally, at three, the final bell for the school year rang. Sebastian stood up and shouted "I am free!" He pointed to Trancy, the Vampires, and Angela while stating "Fuck you, fuck you, really fuck you, and you –" he stopped as he pointed to Justin. "I'll see you in the car; later bitches, I'm out!"
Sebastian walked out before Justin turned to Madam Red. "He's my best friend," he stated.
The rest of the class stood up and walked out to the parking lot. "Finally, summer break is here!" Fangurl shouted before unlocking her car. Rachel and Vincent had given Fangurl and Ciel new cars for their end of school year gift, and because they both were going to be Seniors, they needed their own vehicles.
"What should we do to kick off the summer?" Ronald asked as he unlocked his car too.
"I don't know, Grell do you have any suggestions?" Fangurl wondered.
"We could all meet up tomorrow and go to the water park," Grell suggested.
"Yeah, we could totally do that," Fangurl agreed.
Meanwhile, Sebastian got into his car and Justin climbed in right beside him. "So Justin, do you maybe wanna come over tonight?" Sebastian offered slowly.
Justin's eyes widened. "Really, I have permission to come inside your house?" the Asian asked.
"Sadly yes, I'll drop you off at your house, you pack a bag and be over around six," Sebastian instructed.
"Okay, this is gonna be so exciting, two dudes just hanging out doing dude stuff," Justin happily said with a big grin.
"Yeah sure," Sebastian muttered. The Demon dropped off Justin at his house before hurrying home to prepare for Justin's later arrival.
Sebastian looked at the list that Fangurl had given him and decided to get some of the things that Justin "hated", so that when he came over, hopefully he'd turn around and leave. While straightening up the living room, his mother walked in. "Sweetheart are you expecting company tonight?" Persephone asked.
"Yes, sadly the Asian is coming over to stay the night," Sebastian stated.
"Was he the boy that came over in the middle of the night asking for milk?" Persephone wondered.
"Yep, that's him," Sebastian confirmed.
"Oh wonderful, he seems sweet," Persephone said. She turned to her husband, who was entering the room. "Hades, your son is bringing his boyfriend over tonight so make sure to behave."
"Mom, for the love of Hell, he is not my boyfriend," Sebastian furiously replied.
"Son, there's no need to be so defensive about your sexuality, at your age it's perfectly understandable why you feel the urge to experiment with boys," Hades explained.
Sebastian felt himself fume at his father's words. "Can you two just act like he's not even here? That's how I cope with him," the teenage Demon requested.
"Is that what he wants?" Persephone asked.
"Yes, just act like he's a fly on the wall and you can't see him," Sebastian instructed.
About an hour later, the doorbell rang. "Oh that must be Sebastian's little friend," Persephone said excitedly.
"Mom, remember our talk, you and dad have to act normal," he reminded.
"Don't worry son, we'll be the most normal Demon parents ever," Hades promised.
Sebastian sighed before opening up the door. "Hey Sebastian," Justin said happily.
"Get in here," Sebastian instructed.
The Asian walked inside and noticed Sebastian's parents. "Hello, you must be Justin. I'm Persephone, and this is my husband Hades. You are all our son ever talks about," Persephone said.
"I feel special now," Justin replied with a grin.
"Mom, what did I say about talking to the guest?" Sebastian reminded through gritted teeth.
"Oh okay, well we'll leave you two alone now, but no sexual relations on the couch, I just had it polished," Persephone instructed before she and Hades retired to their bedroom.
"Your parents seem cool," Justin said.
"They think they're cool but they're not, they're embarrassing as fuck," Sebastian responded. "C'mon, you can put your shit in my room."
"Heh okay," Justin agreed. They walked up to Sebastian's room. "Wow, your room is so cool Sebastian."
"Yeah I know, please don't touch anything," Sebastian requested.
"What's this thing for?" Justin asked as he picked up a giant cutout of Super Junior member Yesung.
"Don't touch that!" Sebastian yelled as he sprung forward and tackled the Asian to the ground. After releasing him, Sebastian stood up and dusted off his Yesung cutout before placing it back in it's spot. "Don't you dare touch my angel!" Sebastian ordered.
"You like Yesung?" Justin asked.
"He's a Korean God, everyone likes Yesung," Sebastian stated. "I think it's manly as fuck to like an Asian God."
Justin started laughing. "I know Yesung," Justin stated.
"Just because you both are Korean, that doesn't mean that you know him," Sebastian responded. "If you dare tell anyone I have his cutout I will kill you."
"It's okay, I have a cutout of all of them, and they're autographed," Justin replied.
Sebastian narrowed his gaze before muttering "I hate you."
"I love you too best friend," Justin said.
"C'mon, I'm hungry, let's go get food," Sebastian instructed.
Justin walked downstairs with the Demon and saw that Sebastian had cooked spaghetti. With an evil grin, Sebastian hoped that Justin would flip out since the list said that Justin hated Italian food. "Sweet pasketti," Justin said.
"What did you call it?" Sebastian asked.
"Pasketti," Justin repeated.
"It's pronounced spaghetti dumbass," Sebastian corrected.
"I love pasketti," Justin stated before sitting down and starting to eat.
"Wait, you like Italian food?" Sebastian asked in a confused tone.
"Of course," Justin agreed.
Sebastian slowly sat down and started to eat in frustration. Plan A didn't work, so now Sebastian was going to have to go to Plan B. The Demon decided to move closer to Justin, because the list said that Justin hated it when Sebastian invaded his personal space. "What are you doing?" Justin wondered.
"Do you like your space being invaded?" Sebastian asked as he leaned in closer to the Asian.
"Um, if you invade my space it's fine, cuz we're best friends," Justin replied with a smile before leaning closer in to the Demon's face.
"If you kiss me I will make you sleep outside," Sebastian quietly threatened.
Justin backed away from his friend and continued to eat. Sebastian thought to himself, nothing is working. "Hey Sebastian, do I have to shower with my bathing suit on like you do in my house?" Justin wondered.
"Um, do what you please," Sebastian replied.
"Cool, are you going to shower with me or do Demons shower separately from their guests?" Justin asked.
"I will be bathing in another room while you shower," Sebastian informed as he stood up and walked upstairs towards his room. Pointing down the hall he instructed "You are to use the bathroom at the end of the hall; I will be downstairs in another bathroom."
"Okay," Justin agreed before Sebastian walked back downstairs.
He closed the door to his bathroom and took a sigh of relief. "At last I can have a few minutes away from that freak," he muttered to himself. Sebastian lit a few candles, poured soap into his bathtub, and watched the bubbles form. The Demon teenager lay down in the hot, soapy water, letting all the stress try and melt away from him. "This feels really good," he said.
Just before he could relax any further, there was a knock on the door. "Hey Sebastian, is it okay if I use the loofa you have in your shower?" Justin asked.
Opening his eyes, the Demon felt himself begin to fume. "It better not be my green one," he stated.
Justin opened up the bathroom door and asked "Is this one okay?"
Sebastian moved some of the bubbles around to cover himself. "Justin, you can't just barge in on someone."
"Are you taking a bubble bath?" Justin wondered.
"Yes, and if you ever tell anyone I do this, I will kill you," Sebastian threatened.
"I love bubble baths," Justin stated before unwrapping the towel from around his naked body and walking over to the tub.
"No, don't you dare get in," Sebastian ordered a little too late. As soon as he said something, Justin was about to sit down.
The Asian leaned back against the opposite end of the tub and said "Wow, this is comfortable."
Sebastian narrowed his gaze. "You have ruined yet another part of my life that is enjoyable," he muttered.
"Ruined or have I enhanced the experience?" Justin asked.
"I think I'll take my leave now," Sebastian said before Justin stopped him.
"Can't we just sit here for a couple of minutes?" Justin requested. Sighing, Sebastian reluctantly sat back down. He took the loofa that Justin had brought in and began to scrub his body clean.
"Do you want me to wash your back for you since you can't reach?" Sebastian asked before watching Justin nod. "Then turn around so I can reach better."
Justin slowly turned his body around to where his back was facing Sebastian before the Demon sat on his knees and began to wash the Asian. "This is nice," Justin muttered.
"You're being exfoliated with my loofa, what's so nice about that?" Sebastian wondered.
"This is the first time you've offered to do anything nice for me like this. It makes me happy," Justin replied with a smile. Sebastian stopped washing as he thought about what Justin had said. He thought about what life would be like if he ended the contract tonight, and also about what it would be like if Justin was around even after high school, and for some strange reason, Sebastian couldn't decide which option he liked better at this moment.
"Okay, I think it's time we get out and head up to bed for the night," the Demon suggested as he rinsed off Justin.
The Asian stood up and wrapped a towel around his body while Sebastian did the same. The two walked silently up to Sebastian's room and got dressed. "So what are the rules on sleeping arrangements?" Justin asked.
"You will stay on your side of the bed and I'll stay on mine," Sebastian stated.
"Okay," Justin agreed before the two climbed into Sebastian's bed. As they lay there in the dark, Sebastian heard Justin whisper "Thanks for letting me come over; it's been one of the best nights ever." Sebastian sighed, knowing that since Justin had enjoyed himself so much that that meant he would have to continue the contract with the Asian.
In the middle of the night, around two thirty, Sebastian awoke to the sound of something whimpering. He thought it was just his cat until the noise got louder. Opening his eyes, Sebastian switched on a lamp, and turned around. The Demon saw Justin shaking and whimpering in his sleep. "Hey, wake up," Sebastian said as he shook Justin's shoulder. The Asian opened his eyes and turned to look at his best friend. "Are you okay?"
Without a word, Justin clung onto Sebastian. The Demon wanted to push him away, before feeling how violently he was shaking. Slowly, Sebastian placed a hand on Justin's head, and felt his trembling reduce dramatically. "I had a bad dream," he muttered.
"Are you okay?" Sebastian repeated.
"Yeah, I'm fine now. Sorry, I know you don't like people touching you, but I always feel better when I hug someone after a bad dream," Justin apologized.
Sebastian suddenly realized that he wasn't as mad as he normally would've been if Justin had done this to him, which got the Demon confused. "It's okay, under the circumstances it's understandable why you would want to do something like this," he replied before wrapping an arm around his friend. He watched Justin relax next to him and fall back to sleep.
The next morning, Sebastian woke up and found that he was still embracing Justin, and wondered why he wasn't disgusted with the Asian being close to him. Justin shifted and opened his eyes before looking up at his best friend. "Hey," he said.
"Hey," Sebastian replied.
Suddenly, the front doorbell rang. Sebastian groaned before getting up and walking downstairs, with Justin following. The two found Fangurl on the porch. "Hey are you guys ready to go to the water park?" she asked.
"Yeah, we'll go get our suits on," Sebastian said before closing the door. He and Justin walked upstairs and got on their swim trunks before heading back downstairs, and getting into the car with Fangurl and Ronald.
"So Justin, did you have fun last night with Sebastian?" Fangurl wondered.
Justin and Sebastian looked at one another before Sebastian replied "Yeah, we both actually had an enjoyable time." Fangurl smiled before Justin felt himself also grin at Sebastian's statement and begin to lightly blush. Sebastian also knew that that meant that the contract would continue even after high school, yet for some strange reason, the Demon was no longer upset at that.
