With Anzu

Anzu took a large swig of water as her dance practice came to a close. Practice had been brutal and that pig Johnny Steps was still there watching all the dancers. Anzu could not stand that guy although her heart did warm slightly when fifteen minutes into practice she saw Joey slip into the studio and take a seat in the front row. She didn't expect Joey to come watch her at practice and had only casually mentioned that she wouldn't be home until later because she had dance tonight.

And yet there Joey was, with his eyes locked on her as she moved gracefully across the stage. Anzu allowed her eyes to drift closed as she counted steps in her mind. Sometimes in practice it was just easier to allow the music to guide her motions instead of relying on her eyes. Plus it kept her from blushing by how closely Joey was watching her.

One, two three lift.

"Stop, stop stop."

The practice came to a stop, the male lead setting Anzu back onto her feet as Johnny made his way onto the stage.

"Do we not have an understudy for our lead dancer? One who is lighter? The male lead should have been able to lift our leading lady higher into the air. He cannot be expected to lift this tub of lard." Johnny sneered.

Anzu scowled in Johnny's direction. She was not a tub of lard. She was perfectly healthy. She ate well, worked out and didn't eat a lot of foods with fat or sugar in them. Just because she wasn't anorexic didn't mean she couldn't dance. Nor that she wasn't damn good at it.

"No, we do not have an understudy. Anzu is a perfectly capable dance Mr. Steps." The dance instructor said firmly. Anzu snorted, that was of course a lie they did have an understudy. Difference was the instructor refused to say so because Johnny would have insisted on the understudy dancing Anzu's part.

Johnny shot the instructor a glare before he took his seat once again, "Let's resume from the lift." The instructor had called. Practice from there went smoothly and Johnny had stormed out as soon as practice was over muttering something about dancing elephants.

"Ya did great 'zu." Joey said.

Anzu smiled, her cheeks coloring slightly at Joey's compliment. She worked very hard at dance and hearing that she did well was always nice. It might have been the shift in her and Joey's relationship but his compliment seemed different this time.

"An dat prick don't know wut he's talkin' bout. Yur light as a feader zu." Joey said.

Anzu chuckled, "I don't know about a feather Joey." Anzu replied.

Joey chuckled before he walked forward and bent down slightly placing one hand on Anzu's waist and the other on her inner thigh before lifting Anzu as high as he could into the air. "Joey," Anzu chuckled, "Put me down."

"See, light as a feader." Joey replied, his arms shaking slightly from the strain of hold Anzu above his head but he still shot her a smile.

Anzu laughed, "Alright my macho man, you've man your point. Now please put me down before you hurt yourself." Anzu asked.

Joey carefully set Anzu back down on the stage. Anzu leaned up and lightly pecked Joey on the cheek, "That was a pretty good lift Joey. Are you sure you don't want to try out for the show?" Anzu teased.

Joey snorted, "I'm no dancer 'zu. I jus watched da oder guy pick ya up fer a whole hour. Figure I could give it a try."

Anzu shook her head fondly at Joey before she walked over and flicked on the stereo. Joey rose a questioning brow. Anzu looped her arms around Joey's shoulders. "Dance with me Joey." Anzu playfully commanded.

"Zu, I can't dance." Joey whispered.

Anzu rolled her eyes, "It isn't that hard Joey. Just put your hands on my hips and we just have to sway to the music. I'm not expecting fancy steps." Anzu said.

Joey chuckled, "If dat is wut ya want." Joey replied as he rested his hands on Anzu's hips and the two began to sway back and forth. After a few minutes Anzu rested her head on Joey's chest.

"This I nice, isn't it Joey?" Anzu asked.

"Yeah, yeah it is zu." Joey whispered as he pulled Anzu a little bit closer to him. He really enjoyed having Anzu so close to him. It was very peaceful the two of them just swaying to the music in the empty auditorium.

After the third song had finally came to a close Anzu reluctantly pulled away knowing that if she didn't head home soon her parents would be worried. Anzu walked over to the back of the stage and picked up a duffle bag which she had stored her towel, water bottle and her sneakers in. She quickly changed into her sneakers before slinging the bag over her shoulder. She then headed back over and slipped her arm through Joey's, resting her head on his shoulder.

"You ready to head back home Joey?" Anzu asked.

"Yeah, I can walk ya home 'zu." Joey replied. Anzu shot Joey a pointed look.

"And you are going to be coming in with me." Anzu said sharply.

Joey sighed, "Zu, you an I are…dating, doesn't dat kinda change tings?"

"Why should it? I still trust you to be the gentleman you always have been." Anzu said.

Joey snorted, "Wut 'bout yer parents? Shouldn't we tell dem bout us?" Joey asked.

Anzu was quiet for a moment, "Well, we aren't telling the gang. Why would we tell my parents now?" Anzu asked.

Joey sighed, "Keepin' us a secret from da gang is one ting. Hidin it from yer parents is anoder." Joey said.

Anzu came to a stop and pulled her arm out of Joey's grasp before she dropped her duffle bag on the ground. She grabbed the front of Joey's shirt, tugging him forward before she kissed him hard. Joey grunted in surprise, his lips moving subconsciously with Anzu's. Anzu pulled away from Joey a few seconds later before the kiss could grow too heated.

"Joey, the only reason we are keeping this quiet is because I know you. You don't want us to make a big deal about this until you figure things out. You expect us to break up any day now and I want to prove to you that you are worthy of my time. We can tell my parents the same day we tell the gang. For now, let's just focus on you and me figuring out if we can work. Okay?" Anzu said.

"But, wut bout…"Joey protested.

"We aren't lying to my parents about anything and nothing is going to happen between us other than sleeping. I won't lie I slept wonderful cuddled up close with you. You just make me feel so safe." Anzu said.

Joey sighed, "Fine, 'zu ya win." Joey conceded.

Anzu smiled before giving him another peck on the lips before linking her arm back with his and they continued on their way. She loved Joey, she knew that. She had figured that out a long time ago. She also knew that rushing into things wasn't wise. In her overly romantic mind Joey and she would share their first time together at a resort on the beach in Hawaii while they were celebrating their honeymoon before they headed back to their home in New York.

Anzu knew it was a major long shot, but a girl could dream right? And what girl didn't dream about marrying her prince and living happily ever after?

With Kaiba

Kaiba was sitting moodily starring at his computer screen. Today had not been a good day. He had had to fire his secretary this afternoon after he discovered she triple booked him for business meetings tomorrow. When he'd confronted her about it she had just shrugged like it didn't matter and muttered 'people make mistakes. Lighten up boss.'

Which led to him pulling double duty and doing some of his secretary's work and calling to correct his scheduled meetings. He also had to take an unexpected break at 1 because the school called and apparently Mokuba had gotten into a fist fight and had been suspended until the end of the week.

This in turn made him work later than he normally would. Which was frustrating enough since he knew that today was the day Akunadin was showing up and wanted to be able to meet up with Yami. It was already 8 o'clock and he was still stuck at the office. Normally at least he had headed home and would be able to work from home, but he wasn't even at a point he could do that yet.

Akunadin Kesir's flight had landed at 6 and he wanted to stop by the Sennen place just to be able to support his boyfriend. And Atemu too, he guessed. But mainly Yami. After what that monster had put Yami through Kaiba wanted to be able to stand next to Yami and tell him that he was going to be alright and that Akunadin would never put his hand on Yami ever again.

But no, no of course that didn't happen. He was still stuck working. And he was going to have to get home soon so he could ground Mokuba for the rest of his natural life. The least Mokuba could have done was get into a fight about something important not Capsule Monsters is better than Duel Monsters. Kaiba understood Mokuba was ten but still even ten year olds should know better than to get into a fist fight over a stupid television show. Kaiba allowed his eyes to slip closed. He really wished Yami was here with him right now.

Scuba lessons had been going very well. They seemed to go better when they were held at the mansion when there weren't overprotective siblings hanging out not that far away. The lessons always ended at about 7 o'clock and Yami didn't head home until 730 or 8 o'clock.

The last scuba lesson they had had Mako had to leave early so they got done at 645. And Seto had quite probably used the extra time to give Yami a tour of the mansion. Ending in his room instead of a guest room like they normally ended up in.

Yami and him had had a wonderful time kissing and Kaiba even managed to get Yami's shirt off and got to kiss and nip along Yami's chest before Yami had pushed him off and said they needed to stop. Kaiba had of course allowed it but God damn it that boy should come with a fucking warning label. He was literally like a highly addictive drug and Kaiba had said it before he could not get enough of that boy.

Damn his secretary to hell for causing this mess. Yami needed Kaiba to be there for him and the time when Yami needed him the most Kaiba had to blow him off. Because of work. Stupid fucking work.

God I hate my life. Kaiba thought to himself as his phone rang again, it was his warehouse director according to the caller ID.

"Kaiba." Kaiba barked as he answered the phone.

"Mr. Kaiba, I'm sorry to disturb you this late sir but…"

"Enough with the pleasantries. Cut to the chase so I can get home sometime tonight." Kaiba growled.

"There's been a fire."

With Kisara

Kisara sighed as she walked into her empty hotel room. Her father was more than likely out for another 'work meeting' with Ishizu. As many meetings as they've been having lately she wouldn't be surprised if the two were secretly dating. Not that she had any interest in asking about her father's sex life or lack thereof.

She sat down on the perfectly made queen sized bed in the room. The cleaning staff had certainly been here earlier today. She really hoped her father would at least get an apartment or something lined up soon because she was really tired of staying in a hotel. Not to mention sharing room with her father.

School today had been interesting she guessed was the right word for it. Domino was a quaint little town with a quaint school to match. Domino seemed to have found the perfect imaginary balance between small town and big city where they had the vibe of both yet neither.

The classes had been interesting so far and she was very excited that she was taking chemistry. She loved mixing different chemicals together and seeing how they reacted. It was fascinating utterly and completely fascinating.

History had been a bore, than again her father worked for the Berlin museum so she had spent her life surrounded by history and her father always coming home to excitedly tell her about the museums latest acquisition. Over her short life she had probably attended more history lectures than the history teacher had.

She got off the bed and walked over to her suitcase sitting on the floor beside her bed. She unzipped the side and reached in, rummaging around for a few minutes before she pulled out a thin book with a lock on the front. Her journal. She too the journal before climbing back up onto her bed.

Dear Diary,

Today was my first day of school here in Domino. And the day was alright I guess you could say. I'm taking chemistry which is always good news. The fact I'm still stuck in history is something I've resigned myself to.

The only person I got to talk to today really was Honda which was really disappointing. I had actually kinda been looking forward to having study hall the last period and not just because I have a ton of homework. I was really hoping to be able to talk to some of my classmates and maybe make a new friend or two.

But then Honda got a couple of library passes and we headed up to the roof. Which was the same place we had gone to for lunch which meant I didn't even get to eat with his friends again. I mean, don't get me wrong Honda was being really sweet with the whole romantic lunch just the two of us up on the roof. I was just really hoping to have someone else I could talk to. I know, pretty dumb right. I get my first boyfriend and here I am wishing that he hadn't wanted to spend time alone just the two of us.

Anyway, as I was saying Honda took me back up on the roof and you could tell by the lecherous look on his face he wanted to goof around. He didn't have to say it, you could see if clear as day on his face. And I probably made a really bad decision. We had sex.

I know I know, how could you Kisara? You are daddies sweet innocent little princess. How dare you do such a thing? I just, I don't know. I'm sick and tired of daddy thinking I'm this fragile little bauble. He had Ishizu appoint her brother Marik as my protector. And well, since the only person I really know at school is Honda…I don't want him to decide he doesn't like me. So, I decided to put an end to the whole idea of me being an innocent little angel.

I started stripping him and then I decided to try something I'd heard about in sex ed before. I figured that Honda really likes things that are…I don't know…maybe a little bit more on the wild side I guess. So, I unzipped his pants with my teeth. Which, I will say is harder to do than you would think. Anyway, I took his part into my mouth. And oh my god, how can someone do that? I could hardly breathe. I thought I was going to choke. And the stupid thing kept getting bigger. I almost vomited. And that wasn't even getting to when he practically exploded in my throat. I mean who the hell ever decided that was a cool thing to try? It must have been a guy no woman would like a man's part and decide hey I wonder what it would be like to stick that in my mouth.

So, yes we had sex. God it hurt. A lot. I mean I guess I always kinda knew that it would but it really really hurt. Honda was actually kinda rough with the way he was gripping me. I think he left finger shaped bruises on my hipbones. He even bit me once. And then he started jabbing into me and it just hurt. And it lasted forever. About four thrusts in I kinda wished I'd never done that. I mean it might have been better if he had gone a little slower. Pushed in a little softer if that makes sense. But, what's done is done.

I know, a little late for that, wasn't it Kisara? Plus now Honda is going to be expecting that kinda thing and what could I possibly tell him as a reason that I don't want to? I've already done it once and I have a feeling he's going to want to do that again next time we have study hall. And now I feel like I've trapped myself in that regard. If I told Honda I didn't want to do that again would he break up with me? If he did that then I really would be alone.

I guess that means I'll have to play that part of Honda. Play the part of his wild girlfriend. I mean I have some wild parts of me. I like setting fires. I like the idea of doing wild, unexpected stuff. But, I've never DONE anything super wild or crazy before. The idea of actually doing that is both thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

Is it sad that I kinda want to try and call Marik and see if he can talk? He's always been a pretty cool kinda guy when he isn't being way too overprotective. I mean he's nineteen years old so way way way too old for me but still he's kinda nice. In a tough guy sort of way.

Then again I also know if I told him about Honda and me up on the roof he'd flip his lid. I swear Marik is almost as protective of me as my father is.

Well, I guess this will conclude it for me from tonight. I've got to try and get some of my homework done before my father gets home. Good night.

Kisara then put her journal away and picked back up her backpack. She figured she might as well get her history worksheet out of the way first since it was probably the easiest. Other than that she would do her best to put what had happened earlier out of her mind. And cross her fingers that Honda would never bring it up again. Because if he didn't bring it up she wouldn't have to bring it up and they could forget all about it.

With Ryou

Ryou sat stiffing on his bed with his ankle propped up on a pillow. Today had actually turned out to be okay. He still could not believe that Yugi had actually asked him out on a date. Sweet, adorable little Yugi asked ME out.

Ryou sighed as he gazed out the window. The sun had set a while ago. He felt really guilty that Yugi had asked him out now. Because he was injured a lot of things they could have gone to do would really be more difficult. Instead of being able to go for a walk in the park, Ryou would be able to go for a hobble. He guessed they could go and see a movie. There was a new horror film that had just came out that was supposed to be absolutely smashing. Reviews said it was the scariest movie of the year. Problem was that if memory served him Yugi wasn't a huge fan of horror films.

Ryou sighed as he starred up at the ceiling. Back when he still lived in London he and Akefia used to watch horror movies together. Their mother had always said that they shouldn't watch those 'demonic movies'. But Ryou had loved them. He loved how jumpy they made him, he loved how he'd be sitting on the edge of his seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. Akefia would occasionally tap him on the shoulder and say 'Boo'. Just to scare Ryou, which was part of what made the movies so much fun. He'd tried to return the favor but Akefia always seemed to be expecting it. And the two brother would laugh their heads off at each of Ryou's failed attempts.

But that was all in the past. Back before Akefia went nuts and drove their family apart. Ryou remembered it like it was yesterday. He came home from a friend's house three days before Halloween. He and Akefia had had big plans for the upcoming holiday. They were going to go and visit a couple of the haunted houses after taking Amane trick or treating. And then they were going to engorge themselves on Halloween candy while they watched a classic horror movie marathon.

He came home to his parents arguing. He had heard them bicker before but nothing like this. They were screaming at each other. They kept mentioning Akefia's name. And then his mother had yelled that she refused to have that demon living in her house. His father's immediate response was that his mother wouldn't have to worry about that because he was going to go and take both of his sons with him.

His father had then yelled for him and Akefia to pack their bags that they were going to be staying in a hotel for a while. His mother had said something about not wanting her precious baby boy to be corrupted by the demon but he never heard what his father replied because that was when Amane had practically tackled his frozen form in the hallway, sobbing. Ryou had pulled her into a tight hug and whispered that it was going to be okay.

Turns out he was wrong. It wasn't okay and it never was again. His father loaded both him and Akefia up into the car and they headed to a hotel across town. He overheard his father calling a solicitor and saying that he wanted to file for divorce. Halloween that year came and Akefia still wanted to go and visit the haunted houses and go trick or treating. Ryou refused to go that year and instead spent the whole Halloween sobbing in their hotel room.

By Christmas that year the divorce had gone through and his father had taken a job overseas and he and Akefia had been packed up and loaded onto a plane, leaving London far behind. Akefia and him stopped talking to each other and when they did talk to one another all they did was argue. Akefia always said Ryou was being ridiculous and that their mother was a lunatic. Ryou said that Akefia was a monster that ripped their family apart.

Ryou sighed. Maybe if he and Yugi were still together at Halloween they could go to the Haunted Houses down on the fairground. They could walk through the attractions and maybe grab a couple of caramel apples to eat. Of course Halloween was months away. It was April now but he would be out of his cast by Halloween. That would be absolutely amazing.

At the same time Ryou knew he was getting really ahead of himself he and Yugi hadn't even gone out on a single date yet and here Ryou was contemplating what they were going to do in October, which was six months from now.

Ryou had never been out on a date before and the idea was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time. Yugi was his best friend but what if things didn't work out between them and they stopped being friends? Ryou already knew that he wasn't going to suggest the horror movie because that wouldn't be something that Yugi was interested in. Maybe they play video games at Yugi's house and eat junk food. Yugi loved that kind of stuff and even though Ryou wasn't a huge video game fan for Yugi he would do just that.

Then again, maybe Yugi would have planned some extravagant day for the two of them to spend together that would sweep him right off his feet. Yugi was the kind of guy that could do something like that. Yugi was sweet like that.

Perhaps I should just be patient and wait to see what Yugi comes up with for this weekend. Ryou thought before he picked up his math book and began his math homework. Ironically enough Math was one of his favorite subjects. Problem was it never took him long to finish his math homework.

Ryou set his finished assignment aside with a frown. It still was way too early to go to bed but there wasn't really anything else to do. Ryou picked up his laptop and typed in a horror website he had discovered about a month back. The website was called Zorc's Dark Kingdom.

Ryou logged onto the page and first checked to see if another installment of the comic had been posted and was mildly disappointed to see there was no new content. Ryou then shrugged before he clicked on the forum section. He bit back a smile when he saw DungeonMasterZorc was logged on.

Dungeon Master Zorc was the screen name of the website creator and he and Ryou had had some pretty awesome conversations over the last month. Of course it was mainly about different horror movies and how to make them better. Occasionally they talked about other stuff but it was mainly movies. But if there was one thing Ryou did know it was that Zorc was a genius with horror.

WhiteMagician13: Hey Zorc! How have you been?

DungeonMasterZorc: Terrible. Makes me wish real life was a horror movie so I could go and gut my fucking loser of a brother.

Ryou winced, poor Zorc. He did often complain about his brother than again based on what Ryou had heard about him the kid was an ass. A self-entitled, spoiled ass.

WhiteMagician13: That sucks. Do I want to know what the loser did this time?

DungeonMasterZorc: Probably not. Arrogant selfish bastard might prevent me from attending my Panel.

Ryou's eyes widened. Zorc is going to be on a panel? That would be beyond amazing to go see. Especially if he had an opportunity to actually talk to this legend.

WhiteMagician13: If he does that I wouldn't blame you for gutting him. He'd deserve it. God, your brother sounds like such a loser.

DungeonMasterZorc: Hahahahaha you don't know that half of it WhiteMagician.

WhiteMagician13: So, if you were to murder your brother how would you go about it? Would you slice him open with a knife? I know you have Zorc use knives a lot in the comic.

DungeonMasterZorc: I think there is something grotesquely satisfying about using a knife. Makes the murder seem more personal.

WhiteMagician13: I know. It certainly makes for the better story.

DunegonMasterZorc: Ironically speaking, discussing my brother's murder on this forum is probably saving the ungrateful brat's life.

Ryou chuckled. He loved talking to Zorc. He was hilarious. Although, he did think the spoiled brat they were talking about was so lucky to have Zorc for a brother. He'd trade places with him in a heartbeat.

WhiteMagician13: Pity. Your brother doesn't deserve you. You seriously got screwed when you were landed with him.

DungeonMasterZorc: Tell me about it kid. Tell me about it.

With Joey

Joey sighed as he laid on his back staring up at Anzu's ceiling. Anzu was once again snuggled up against his side with her head resting on his chest, Joey had an arm wrapped around her and she had fallen asleep while he'd been rubbing her back through the T-shirt she'd been wearing.

He still couldn't believe that he and Anzu were a couple. And even though they were going to keep it quiet for a while Joey still knew that the pressure was on and he needed to come up with a date for Anzu. He needed to do something classy because Anzu was a class girl. The date also had to be fun because no one wanted to go out and having a boring time.

Joey sighed, a major problem with planning a date for Anzu was he was broke. Maybe I can try and get another side job so I could afford to take her out to a nice restaurant? Joey thought to himself. Anzu definitely deserved the best. Even if it was just dinner at a nice Italian restaurant.

Joey glanced back over at the sleeping girl beside him. He really didn't want to get another job and it had nothing to do with not wanting to give Anzu the best she deserved. The problem was he was struggling with his school work as it was and for him to pick up another job he'd literally have to skip probably whole school days to work a shift.

He sighed, there were a couple of options he could do where he could make the money he needed but none of them were ideal. He could always do something simple like a picnic lunch in the park. That didn't cost anything but Anzu deserved better than that. She deserved someone who could give her the sun, the moon and the stars.

Maybe tomorrow afta school I can check inta some job opportunities.

The problem was he really wanted to try and get into college and even though his grades were terrible the guidance counselor told him that if he really worked hard this year, junior year and senior year he actually had a chance of getting accepted at least to community college.

His dream was actually pretty damn simple. He wanted to make something of himself and not end up a loser drunk like his old man. He may hate schoolwork and stuff but Joey wanted to get a degree in business or computers or something like that. Something that he could get a good job once he graduated and he could support himself, pay all his bills and maybe, just maybe if he was lucky enough be able to afford to take care of a wife and maybe his kids if he ever had any.

Joey was drawn from his thoughts and Anzu snuggled even closer into him. Without him noticing she had managed to worm her leg in between his so he thigh was now draped over his. A part of Joey knew he should probably have pushed her leg off but Anzu certainly seemed comfortable. And she wasn't hurting anything sleeping curled up with him like this.

And as long as he was able to keep his hands to himself than Anzu was just fine where she was.
