After witnessing what happened and borrowing more ammo from Riza,Dex and I venture back in to the halls. I can't let this continue. I have to stop this fight. I have to find them before one of them is already dead. As we get deeper in the halls, I had this feeling that I got lost...again. But, I realize that I was close by. I hear Envy scream as I see the fire burning him into a crisp as he took on the form of Hughes.

Envy: *yells* What's wrong with you? You didn't even hesitate to incinerate your best friend!

Mustang: Maes Hughes is dead. That's a fact. And you evoke his image, you must be glutton for punishment!

Mustang soon bursts out more fire at Envy sending him towards a wall. Envy pulls himself off the wall and begins to charge towards Mustang as he says...

Envy: I'll show you real punishment!

Before he can let Envy come any closer, Mustang burns his eyes again.

Envy: Not again! My eyes!

Mustang: So I'm curious. Were you trying to get close so I wouldn't use heavy fire? No one told you that I can do pinpoint aiming? To bad for you...because I CAN!

Then, Mustang burns Envy yet again. I can feel the sadness coming down on me and my tears rush down my face.

Me: *softly* Mustang...stop...please don't do this...

Dex sees me crying and he licks them all off my face as he whimpers. This is his way of saying, "Serenity, don't cry. Please don't cry." I still watch the two of them fight and Envy runs away from Mustang. This was actually my chance to follow Envy. So, Dex and I ran and begin to search for Envy. We got to one point of the hall and I couldn't walk anymore before of my feelings. My chest hurts and my body is getting weak. I can't take this shit anymore! I knew something like this was going to happen! But, would Envy listen!? No! He told me not to worry about anything! Then again, it did work at good times, you know. I see Dex look at me with his worried dog eyes and he places his head on my forehead. While I have my moment with my dog, I feel from around my waist the sleeve of my jacket being pulled. I look behind me and I see a homunculus who is surrounded by his own static trying to heal back up.

Envy: *softly* Serenity...

I hear him say my name in a soft voice. I didn't answer him at first, but I give him a small glare at him.

Envy: Serenity...please help me...

Me: Help you?

Envy: Please. I know I hurt your feelings, but I really need you at this point. I know that Lust has been burned up by Mustang and I don't want to have the same fate. Please, help me!

As Envy continues to beg for my help, I bitch-slapped him. I slapped him because of what I just mentioned earlier.

Me: You idiot! You son of a bitch! YOU SON OF A BITCH!

Envy: What the hell was that for?

Me: Fuck what it was for! Snap the fuck out of it! I'm going to help you alright? I'll talk to Mustang about everything and I'll tell him to stop. Just stop begging me. It doesn't suit you. It doesn't suit you at all...

Instead of saying thank you, he places his head on my chest. I look down at him for a quick second, then look in the other direction.

Me: Get off me. Listen, we have to split up first of all. I would rather tell him alone.

And with that, Envy and I split up. As I walk down the halls again I didn't here nothing. I thought that everything was fine. But I was wrong. I was closing in on a certain area of where they were and hear Envy screaming again. I look to my left and I see Mustang approach Envy. This time, I'm not going to get away from the scene. I'm jumping in. Dex and I begin to run towards them. I quickly set up the gun with a brand new case of bullets. And before Mustang can snap his fingers, I jump out and say...

Me: Mustang, stop!

I get in front of Envy and point the gun at Mustang. He still had the hand gesture of snapping his fingers. If he won't put his fingers down, I'm not putting the gun down. Mustang asks me...

Mustang: Why are you pointing a gun at me? You should should be aiming at the being behind you.

Me: This has gone way to far. I need you to stop.

Mustang: Don't you understand? He's the one who murdered Hughes!

Me: I know that! I've known before you knew.

Mustang: How did you know? And why didn't tell me anything!?

Me: Because it was recent and because you weren't serious towards me. You still treat me like a fucking nine year old and you expect me to believe it. So you know what? Even though I follow by your rules, I've been doing my own shut. Like me secretly dating Envy for the past months...

After I admitted the truth, Mustang and Riza exchange looks to each other then they look back at me. The know that I'm dead ass serious. Edward and Scar arrive right on time to hear the good details of this conversation. Edward sees pointing the gun out to Mustang and he says...

Edward: Serenity, what're you doing!? The enemy is behind you! Unless...

Me: Just so you know, Ed, I told Colonel Mustang that I secretly dated the homunculus.

Edward gets shocked about the truth bomb that I just dropped on him. Scar was just calm with it. I continue to tell the truth.

Me: Remember that party I told you about? It wasn't a party. I just met up with Envy and push come to shove...I didn't abide by my abstinence. Since you wouldn't be serious with me, I thought of having a life since you didn't give a shit. That's what I need you to change, Mustang. Don't push me back at anything. Don't be so overprotective. Quit treating me like a fucking child and treat like a fucking adult! I'm eighteen years old! Deal with it! If you don't like what I've done or don't like what I said...*sits in front of Envy*...you're going to have to kill the both of us.

Riza: What!?

Edward: Serenity, don't say that!

3rd pov (Mustang)

As Mustang looks into Serenity's eyes, he has this flashback of him and Raphael, Serenity's father. It was on the day when Raphael was telling him about Balqis expecting the baby girl.

Flashback...

Raphael enters Mustang's office and tells Mustang that Balqis is five months pregnant with his daughter. He is, of course, excited about it.

Mustang: Congratulations on you child. You're excited?

Raphael: Of course! This is my first child! I can't wait until the nine months are up.

Me: Let me ask. When your daughter grows up into a women, what do you think she'll be like?

Raphael: Well, I think she'll have the beauty of her mother, a heart that will love anything or anyone, and the personality of me.

Mustang: Your personality?

Raphael: You know that when I have a problem, I need it to be solved. I hate people who deceive me also. I want others to understand who I am. If not, I'm gone.

Out of Flashback...

Mustang looks at Serenity and realized that he was right on the money on how his daughter would be when she becomes a woman.

Mustang: *in thought* I can't believe how right you are, Raph.

Mustang pulls Serenity up and places his hands on the gun she was holding.

Mustang: I apologize for I have been treating you, Serenity. I should've known that you would be feeling this way. *removes the gun from her hands* I promise I'll change. But...

Serenity: But what?

Mustang: That homunculus can't lay one more finger on you. He'll die before he even does!

As he said that, Serenity sees Mustang point the gun at Envy. Her eyes widen when she sees that. Serenity jumps in front of Envy and then...the gunshot was sounded. Right on time, Serenity rescued Envy...because Mustang shot her accidentally. Serenity falls towards the ground as she clutches the right side of her torso.

All: Serenity!

Envy grabs hold of Serenity and shakes her had enough for her to snap out of it, but the look of dizziness and exhaustion was still on face. Mustang pushes Envy away from Serenity and he begins to to tap her hard enough to get her attention. No response came around. Dex whimpers, then howls in sadness.

Mustang: No, Serenity! No! Please don't die on me! Don't die!

Serenity still has the look of dizziness and exhaustion and small breathes escapes her voice. Serenity mentioned that she'll talk to Roy about everything...but she didn't mean it like this.

Few days later...

Serenity lays in the bed at the hospital with her eyes closed. Mustang, Edward, Alphonse, Winry, Riza, and Sheska are all in the hospital room with her. The doctor comes in the room and tells the group...

Doctor: The gunshot wound kind of gave quite a shock and it put her in coma. We're not so sure when she'll wake up, but we'll let you know if she does.

Mustang exits the room and cries about Serenity. With sobs coming out of his voice, he says...

Mustang: What have I...what have I done?
