I was cuddled up to Dean, my head on his stomach feeling his stomach rise and fall under my head while we waited for Phil to finish up with the Trainer. We were both ready to get a cab but something about being polite and waiting for my brother came into my mind.
"Lilly, Dean you good to catch a cab?" Phil asked. I didn't answer; I just watched Dean's stomach go up and down up and down. "Lilly?" there was silence his hand waved in front of my face then his face appeared there. I sat up and looked at his face. "Is any one in there?" he asked waving his hand again.
"Do you have one too?"I asked squinting my eyes looking in to my brothers eyes.
"One what?" he laughed. I kneeled up on the box we were chilling on and looked at my brother more intently. I put my hand on his forehead and looked at him more.
"A concussion," I asked.
"No I don't have a concussion," he laughed. "Just some lacerations,"
"Hmm, and that's why we're twins," I said jumping from the box to the floor.
"Have you taking something?"
"Huh?"
"Have you taking something you shouldn't have?"
"Where would I take it?" I asked confused. "did I lose it?" I put my hand over my mouth tapping my nose. "Fuck, this is bad,"
"Come on lets go to the motel,"
"errhhhhhhhhhhhh" Dean groaned pulling himself up in to a sitting position. "That my brotha," Dean slurred pointing to Phil. "is a marvellous idea"
"You're both concussed aren't you?"
"Dean got a concussion because he loves me" I laughed.
"Yup," Aj said appearing out of nowhere next to Phil, "The trainer said Lilly needs to get back to the motel and sleep."
"Probably should have sent them as soon as Dean's match finished," Phil laughed. "Come on you two," he said pushing me toward Aj walking over to Dean grabbing his arm pulling him off a box.
"No wait," I whined turning around putting myself between Phil and Dean. "Whitey I know you want too, but don't hurt him," I said looking in his eyes. "he didn't do anything wrong and he wants to love you,"
"Walk Lilly," Phil laughed pointing toward Aj. I walked outside in the nice cool air that was a little breezy and blowy.
"Hey Dean, why are we getting a Taxi, Where's the bus?" I asked looking around. "Think they're this way," I said walking away from the group I walked around the corner of the building it was dark and it was getting colder.
"Lillian Rochelle Brooks, if you don't get your ass back here," I heard footsteps behind me. "I'd almost prefer you be drunk" Phil said putting his hand on my shoulder turning me around throwing me over his shoulder.
"Whatever just take me back to my Dean," I demanded giving in to whatever was coming, I felt a softer surface get placed under my stomach.
"I just gotta tell Seth something," Dean whined.
"You know what, look here's Seth on my Phone, oh okay buddy, Seth doesn't give a shit until tomorrow. Now get in the fucking car Ambrose,"
I felt a weight drop on my back and an arms slink over my back.
"You wanna just stay here tonight?" I suggested looking in to his eyes.
"yeah as long as you're next to me," he smiled tucking some hair behind my ear. "My Lilly pad," he said with a smile.
"I love you,"
"I love you too," he said pushing his lips in to mine, locking on kissing me, my energy was getting less and less I didn't know how much more I could do before I literally passed out and was done but I kissed him back grabbing his shirt pulling myself closer as he slid his tongue in my mouth pushing it in to mine, he wanted me, I could tell. I pulled back and pushed my head in to the crook of his neck. I didn't want to make out; I just wanted to be near him.
There was so much dark around, when we pulled up at the motel, Dean was steadier on his feet now but I wasn't.
"Oh my god my body isn't working," I snapped using everything I had to stay up right.
"You know you're never living this down right?" Phil laughed as he walked over to me lifting me up carrying me through the lobby toward the elevator.
"I don't understand why you would say that,"
"Because you're acting like a drunken demented idiot," Phil laughed.
"Whatever, it's because of work, just shut up and be proud of me" I demanded resting my head on his shoulder.
He was quiet for a moment, "I am proud of you Lilly," he said softly. "You should know that."
I looked up at his eyes. "I do," I smiled. He kissed my forehead.
"Love you whitey,"
He started walking through a white boring hallway with lots of doors, by now I could recognise a hotel hallway even if I was wacked out on LSD.
"I can walk," I said forcing Phil to put me down, I noticed Dean at a door. "Are you sure that's our room?" I said walking past a little. "These doors are all the same,"
"Lilly, it's your room," Phil snapped getting my arm dragging me to the now opened door,
"I dunno, I wouldn't make a room like this, I mean look at those drapes," I whined as I noticed Dean fall face first on to the bed.
"It's your room," Phil grumped, "Look," he said putting some cloths in front of me. "Your onsie," he then grabbed a cord. "Your orange phone charger," he pointed to the bed. "Your boyfriend," he said pushing me toward the bed, which I fell face first on too. "Now neither of you leaves this room until the morning."
The sleep was amazing I couldn't have even thought to a better end to that day, I couldn't understand why I'd waited so long, I should have just left and not worried about the end of the pay per view.
"psst, Lilly," I heard from a distant place, I felt a weight on my back. "Baby, are you awake?"
"Hmm?" Dean tucked some hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek. "Dean what are you doing?" I asked half rolling over.
"I couldn't sleep," he said.
"What baby, why?" I said rolling over properly so he was hovering over the top of me. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," he said soothing my arm. "I just couldn't stop thinking about you," he said. "I needed to talk to you," the room was pretty dark except for the light shining out of the ensuite, his face was soft and full of love. I soothed his face. I wanted to go back to sleep so badly.
"You were thinking about me?"
"Yeah," he smiled. "Is that hard to believe?"
"No" I smiled shaking my head, he laughed a little. "What's in your head Ambrose?"
"Turning that back around on me?"
"Are you telling me you're the only one who's allowed to care?"
"No," he smiled.
"Spill," I demanded.
"I kept thinking about when I came off stage," he said looking at the strap of my top as he played with it nervously. "About how you were there, and about how you wouldn't leave to go watch your brother," he said looking in to your eyes, "I wouldn't have been angry, you know."
"Phil was fine, you needed me." I said pushing my hands around his neck soothing his skin as soft as I could. "A relationship is a partnership Dean," I said softly, "I needed to know you were okay, I'm not okay if you're not okay,"
"you know, the way you held my head, and the way you were there in the trainer's room, to make me smile, to just be there for me," he said soothing my collar bone, I opened my mouth to talk but he continued. "I've never had anybody be there for me like that Lilly," he said honestly. "Ever," he said swallowing nervously. "And I couldn't stop thinking about it," he shook his head. "And I needed you to know how much I appreciate you being there,"
"There's no were else in the world I would have been," I smiled pushing my lips in to his, he took control of the kiss, but he wasn't as forceful as he usually was it was like he wanted that kiss to mean something more than all the others like it was something he wanted to give me.
