Authoress: So, tired...

Paul: Why didn't you sleep last night?

Authoress: I was typing this.

Pandimala: Aw, she actually does love us.

Ch. 34: Seeing Double

I smiled in relief as we all stood in the main room. Well, all of us besides Optimus. He was out on patrol. Two weeks since the incident in South America and I was feeling relief. My wing had finally finished healing and, while I was never left alone, I was still allowed out of base to get my outside time in. It was always interesting, going out. It usually ended up with me doing something crazy and them all yelling at me. The best times, though, were when I was with Paul and Cliffjumper. Those two always seemed to let me have some fun.

"Well, this is going to be fun." I smirked as the kids got ready. Paul was out spending a day with Fowler to see how his investments as CEO of Cyber Tronics Technologies were holding up here for the government. In other words, he got to go be bored for the day while I got to stay here and place bets on the kids racing. Of course, the others had all chosen their kids that they watch but that had left me and Cliffjumper with the wild card. Cliffjumper went with Arcee and chose Jack while I had gone with Bumblebee and chosen Raf.

"On your marks," Cliffjumper started.

"Get set," Bulkhead continued.

"GO!" I yelled with a smile.

Then they were off. Of course, Raf had the lead and was ahead of Miko and Jack. I cheered as they came around.

"Go Raf!" Bumblebee encouraged.

"Petal to the metal Miko!" That was Bulkhead.

"Go Jack go!" Arcee encouraged with a smile.

Cliffjumper laughed. "Come on Jack, I got big credits on you!"

I just shook my head. "You got them beat Raf, now bring it home!"

Miko seemed shocked at Raf's skills. "No way! Raf's scorching us!"

I could feel anticipation swell inside of me as I watched the race. But, the sound of the comm activating canceled that. "Prime!" Yeah, fun. "Do you read me?"

"I'm sorry Agent Fowler, Optimus isn't here at the moment." Ratchet responded. I hoped the big bot got back soon. I didn't want to have to listen to,

"Then I'll take that as a confirmation that he's presently trying to run me off the road!" Fowler responded.

What?...Oh frag. This wasn't going to be good. Now I knew what episode we were in, finally. This wasn't going to be good, not at all.

Shaking his helm, Ratchet said, "Agent Fowler, that hardly seems likely."

"Tell that to my burning treads." Fowler responded.

"Where's Paul?" I asked quickly. Fowler was supposed to be bringing him home.

"Here Pandimala." Paul stated. "And it looks like Optimus, or a very good knock off, is trying to, Frag!"

My spark stopped when I heard Paul yell. Turning on Ratchet, I said, "Get a ground bridge up now!"

He nodded and the rest of us bots ran through the bridge. Once on the other side, I panicked when I saw that Fowler's car, with Fowler and Paul in it, was teetering on the edge of a bridge, about to fall.

Wait, I took that back as I caught sight of Nemesis Prime, aka a robot controlled by Silas. That fragger was going to be squished by me personally if Paul got hurt. Thankfully, Bumblebee made it to the bridge just as the car was about to go over. Being in tank mode had its disadvantages. One of those included a lack of speed. But, I was technically still under medical orders to not go into jet mode until we were absolutely sure that the damage done by the acid was healed. Fragging tank mode.

When we finally caught up, Cliff, Arcee, Bulkhead, and I transformed before Cliff said, "It looks like Optimus."

"Primes don't run." Arcee stated firmly before transforming and racing after the knockoff. I hope she got him, unlike in the episode.

Bulkhead and I wasted no time in running next to 'Bee and Bulkhead held out a servo for Bumblebee to grab. But, just as he did, the bumper came off the car.

"NO!" I yelled as I jumped over the bridge after them. I was not losing Paul. If I did, there would be no hole that Silas could find that would be hidden far enough away to be out of my unforgiving and merciless grasp.

Thankfully for him, though, I landed first and caught the car. "You two okay?" I asked quickly.

"At ease soldier." Fowler stated. I couldn't help but crack a smile as the airbags finally deployed and exploded in their faces. Yeah, it was sad of me to smile, but I couldn't help it. The airbag in face thing always got me.

I then helped the two out of the car before making my way back up to the bridge. Once on top, I saw that Bumblebee was carrying an unconscious Arcee. Scrap! I really hated Silas. I still had to pay him back for that business during the Dingus situation. Fragger.

"Let's get back to base and let doc fix up Arcee, as well as get some answers." I growled.

The others nodded before Bulkhead called Ratchet for a bridge. As he did, I let my thoughts simmer. Paul had been placed in danger. I think that my bad luck might be going to others. I wasn't sure how this was going to affect everything but I was going to make sure that I was there to help the others when they needed it.

When the bridge opened, I picked up Paul and Fowler before walking through. Things were going to be stressful enough, I figured we should have the liaison at base to lower confusion. "You two okay?" I asked again as we walked through.

"Confused and in need of answers." Paul answered.

I nodded and let them off at the human platform before turning. Ratchet was looking over Arcee's injuries and, by the looks of it, she had been ran over. Of course, that was what had happened so it only made sense that she looked like that.

When a groan came from her, we all walked over. "Yes, that's it. Follow the light." Ratchet stated as Arcee's optics started to online.

Once they were fully online though, I saw the same panic that I had felt a few times since becoming one of them. "Wait what?" Arcee asked in a panic before she calmed down. At least she had more control of her outbursts than I did. She then groaned before saying, "Not the best choice of words Ratchet."

"Arcee, are you alright?" Jack asked as Arcee stepped down from the full scanner.

"Sure," Arcee started. "Except for being blindsided by Optimus." She sounded shocked that it happened.

"Didn't we tell you?" Fowler and Paul stated at the same time.

"Impossible." Ratchet huffed, still doubting the obvious.

Arcee shrugged her shoulders and Ratchet's disbelief before saying, "I'm just reporting what I saw."

"Why would Optimus try to knock off Agent Fowler?" Jack asked.

I chuckled at that. "I could think of a few reasons why I would want to." I muttered. Thankfully, the others didn't hear me. Well, no one besides Paul. How did I know Paul heard? Well, it is kind of obvious when the humanized god sends me the mother of all glares. Yeah, that made it pretty obvious that he heard me.

"Maybe Optimus believes he is a Decepticon all over again?" Raf suggested.

"Or, he's been faking being a good guy all this time!" Miko exclaimed.

I just shook my helm. Why did they seem to want to doubt Optimus' mental stability now? After all he had done? I wasn't about to join this bandwagon.

"If Prime has gone off the rails, for any reason, we have a serious problem." Fowler stated.

I shook my helm emphatically. "This is crazy!" I then walked away from the little huddle.

Ratchet seemed to agree with me. "This is absurd! A quick check for Optimus' signal will reveal that he is nowhere near the location of tonight's incident." He then typed a few things into the console he was working at. "In fact, he's just returning now."

Everyone turned as one to the entrance and watched as Optimus drove in. When he stopped and transformed, I felt like strangling the lot of them. They were all nervous around Optimus. OPTIMUS! I mean, this wasn't like we were talking about Megatron or anything. This was Optimus, the good guy. He wouldn't have done this. Plus, they are missing the obvious lack of proof. If it had been Optimus out there, though I knew for a fact that it hadn't, then he would have had dents where he had hit Fowler and Arcee.

"Is something wrong?" Optimus asked. The confusion in his optics alone told me that he was telling the truth. If I had been losing faith in Optimus, that would have reaffirmed it.

"We were just wondering where you've been?" Cliffjumper asked.

"We, haven't been able to reach you." Bulkhead continued.

"I have been, outside of our communication range." Optimus answered. He then reached for something.

Everyone went crazy and the bots, minus Ratchet and myself, pulled out their blasters while Fowler covered the kids. Paul was shaking his helm and I growled while taking a step in front of Optimus, between him and the blasters.

But, Optimus must have seen the tension and continued. "In a subterranean energon deposit." He then pulled out a shard.

Silence followed that before Paul said, "Okay, open your optics and eyes everyone. This is our Optimus. Can't you see that?"

Paul, I was seriously going to thank you big time for this. Thankfully, the bots then listened and put away their blasters before Arcee walked up to the shocked Prime. "We're sorry Optimus."

"Don't blame them Prime." Fowler stated. "Paul and I were attacked earlier tonight on an open highway by a big rig. One that bore a striking resemblance to you." Before Optimus could respond, Fowler's phone rang.

"Uh-oh." I muttered. I knew what was happening next and it was not going to help Optimus out at all.

Fowler then walked away but we could all hear him. "What? That's not possible. I can tell you as sure as there are fifty stars in my star spangled shorts it isn't him!" Fowler then hung up before walking up. "Alden Military Base is under attack, by Optimus Prime." That sent some shock to everyone, especially to said actual bot.

"The truck?" I asked. Please let this have changed, please let this have,

"The bot." Fowler responded.

Scrap! Why couldn't these things change in our favor? It seemed like fate was getting back at Paul and I by changing stuff that would put us in danger, the most recent example being the number of insecticons that Airachnid had during her attempted execution of Megatron.

"Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bulkhead; you are with me. Roll out!" Optimus stated. I was going to give him a break for saying his line today. He deserved it after what he had been accused of.

After they left, I realized something. Optimus had grown into a kind of father figure for me. All of the Autobots had found a special place in my spark, no matter how much I wish I hadn't, I was glad I did. Yeah, confusing for me too. Optimus, like I said, was a father figure. He was there for us and would listen to all we had to say and would take all scrap for us. He would lay down his spark in a second.

Ratchet was like that grouchy old grandpa that really cares for you deep down. I would never let him hear me call him an old grandpa no matter what torture I was under. Ratchet's wrath would be worse.

Bulkhead was like the big jolly fat uncle that we all have somewhere that cares and can be very protective. He was sometimes a little clueless about certain things but he made up for them with his big spark.

Arcee, well, she was like the older sister that you wanted to strangle half the time but the other half you knew you couldn't live without. She was there to back you up when you needed it and she was there to listen at times. She understood most pain because she had experienced a lot.

Bumblebee was the adorable little brother that you wanted to lay your life down for. He was the upbeat one in our little family. If anything ever happened to him again, I would hunt down the perpetrator and make them suffer. I was pretty sure that we all would.

Cliffjumper, well, he was the older big brother that was way overprotective but still a great guy to hang out with. He helped me train so I would not be defenseless out in the war. But, that never stopped me from pranking him every so often.

Even the humans had grown on me. June was the way over protective aunt that was annoying as frag but really cared for you. Plus, since she was a nurse, she knew how to help in the tense situations, when she wasn't being overprotective.

Fowler was that really nit-picky uncle that worried about everything and made a big deal about things. But, every once in a while, he would open up and have some fun. He was a great guy to have around.

Jack was the little cousin that tried to be responsible all the time and didn't want to be a kid. I knew that he should enjoy being a kid because, once he was out of high school, he would not have any time for being a kid. I would have to talk to him later about letting loose every once in a while.

Miko, well, she was that energizer bunny cousin that was always walking on the walls. But, she cared for everyone around her, risking her own safety at times. Of course, she loved her music as well and I loved that about her. I was a music junkie. She liked music, albeit a specific kind of music. But, that didn't matter.

Then, there was Raf. Gosh Raf was like that adorable little cousin that was so inquisitive and innocent. He was full of bright ideas and was always willing to help everyone. I wouldn't let anyone hurt him. I would make a deal with Unicron himself to get vengeance on anyone who hurt Raf if I thought it was necessary.

Paul. Paul was another father figure for me. I knew he worried about me and would go psycho on anyone who tried to hurt me. I didn't miss the evil eye that Paul had thrown to Wheeljack when we had returned and when he continued to throw those evil eyes at Wheeljack until the Wrecker left. Yeah, I was sure that if I had come back from that mission even remotely hurt Primus would have been extremely upset, as in going to try and tear Wheeljack limb to limb. It would have been very interesting to watch.

When the bots suddenly ran back through the bridge, I knew that there had been trouble. That doubt was finally confirmed when Agent Fowler's phone rang.

"Hello this is Special Agent William Fowler." Fowler responded. After some quiet, Fowler said, "No General Bryce, Optimus Prime did not attack our boys." Another second of silence. "Because I was with Prime when I received the alert." Then another pause. I hated these pauses. "Yes sir, the Autobots were at your base but only in response to the initial attack." Thankfully, the pause was shorter. "But sir I...yes sir, I understand." He then finally hung up.

"So, what's the damage?" Jack asked. Oh, it was bad Jack. Silas was really messing with us this time.

"All military personnel are under strict orders to destroy any and all bots on sight." Fowler stated with regret.

"You have to be kidding!" Paul stated in shock.

"But they're innocent!" Raf defended. I smiled. Yes, we were innocent and I was going to make sure to make Silas hurt for putting my family through this.

"Optimus was framed!" Miko yelled. Yeah, now they knew this was true. Where was this optimism a bit ago when they drew their blasters at him and shied away.

"Though unfortunate," Optimus started, "the military order changes nothing. Our imposter clearly poses a grave threat to humanity."

"A thirty foot tall transforming imposter." Fowler thought he should add.

"They actually did it." Ratchet stated. "Those butchers managed to crack the code."

I shivered at the look Optimus' optics got. "MECH." Yeah, MECH went too far with this and they were going to pay for it.

"So, let's compile what they did to get what they got." I stated. We needed to have a refresher because, honestly, I was a little fuzzy on this situation. I think it was due to my transformation. The most recent thing was Bumblebee and Starscream's t-cogs. Yeah, I needed a refresher.

Ratchet started off the information. "MECH abducted Breakdown, and by all indications deconstructed him from cranial chamber to heel strut."

"I was there." Bulkhead confirmed.

"And we know, that more recently, obtained Starscream's t-cog." Optimus added.

"Which they put in a cheap knock off of you." I finished.

"Which scanned a vehicle form just like yours." Cliffjumper added.

"Fill the tank with energon." Jack added.

"And say hello to Nemesis Prime." Miko finished. Yeah, I loved the name. And Nemesis was going down, one way or another.

"So, where do we start? MECH's base could be anywhere." Fowler asked.

"No it couldn't." Everyone turned to Paul when he said that. "MECH may have learned a lot about them but that doesn't mean that they have Cybertronian technology. They are just like how you guys are, stuck using Earth tech, albeit they have a little more advanced Earth tech. My company doesn't even have it as good as Cybertronian tech."

I smirked slightly. Paul did have Cybertronian tech. But, they didn't want the bots to know about that yet. It would happen soon, that Pandimala was sure of, but she hoped it wasn't too soon.

"In other words, since they do not have a ground bridge, Nemesis Prime would rely solely on its vehicle mode for transportation." Ratchet clarified.

"Chances are the MECH base is within driving distance of both incidents." Arcee concluded.

"What are we waiting for?" Fowler asked. "Let's get out there and mash MECH's little science project."

"Agent Fowler," Optimus started. "I do not think it advisable to put yourself in harms way of MECH's robot again." I could understand Optimus' concern. I was feeling the same way about Paul. I had a feeling he would be joining in on this at any second.

"Well, we are not sure it advisable for bots to be running recon with the military out there gunning for you." Yep, I knew it. Paul was going to help Fowler. I was going to die of worry when this was over with. I knew it.

"We will maintain vehicular cover until absolutely necessary." Optimus stated.

I nodded but I didn't miss the upset looks on Paul's and Fowler's faces. Yep, they were going to pull a Miko. This was going to be fun.

"Autobots, we will split up and search the radius until we find MECH's base. Call in with reports. We do not want to allow MECH and their robot to get the advantage of us." Optimus ordered.

We all nodded before getting shipped out. I was the last one sent out after Bumblebee so I knew that I would be able to get to the action. Thankfully, Ratchet had cleared me for full flight ability. That meant that I was going to be moving quickly.

After about twenty minutes of looking, Bulkhead came on the comm. "Nothing but tumbleweeds."

"Just a whole lot of empty." Arcee stated.

"Same here. Nothing out here." Cliffjumper added.

"I have nothing." I grumbled. I was hating this search.

"I think I found it." Bumblebee called in while sending everyone the coordinates.

Optimus was quick to respond. "Bumblebee, proceed with utmost caution. Reconnaissance only. We will rendezvous at your coordinates."

I knew that things were going to get hectic quickly and so I banked right and headed toward Bumblebee's coordinates. When I got there, I saw that the others were already there. They must have been closer to the base than I thought. Fraggers got all the fun.

"Bumblebee, do you read?" Optimus called into Bumblebee as I transformed next to them.

"Spread out?" Arcee asked. Optimus nodded and they all transformed their servos into blasters. Lucky ducks. I just got to lower my shoulder cannons and take out my broadswords. I smirked. Okay, I got to have a little fun.

"And beware anything that might resemble me." Optimus added with a serious tone.

I gulped. This was not going to be very fun. I had to be on the lookout for a robot who would look like Optimus. Great, I was going to be fighting something that looked like somebot that I looked up to as a father figure. This was going to be great.

Paul 3rd P.O.V.

Paul paced as they waited. All they got was silence. "If I can isolate the control frequency of the remote link Silas is employing, I can pinpoint his exact position."

"Remote link?" Raf asked.

"You didn't think MECH possessed the ability to build completely autonomous robots did you?" Ratchet asked them.

"I was hoping Silas would be operating the bot from the inside because one punch from Bulkhead and," She then proceeded to make sounds like Silas dying.

Paul shook his head and rolled his eyes. Fowler, Paul saw, was doing the same. Maybe he had more in common with the Agent than he thought.

"Ah-ha! Frequency isolated." Ratchet stated with a victory smirk.

"Then reopen that bridge." Fowler ordered.

"Agent Fowler," Ratchet started, "did you not hear Optimus' advice against your involvement? It's for your own safety."

Fowler was ready with a response. "Look doc, I don't plan on dancing with any bot. But, there is a human element in play here and in case you haven't noticed, I happen to be a highly trained, government grade human."

Paul knew that this was his time to jump in or he wouldn't be able to give Silas a piece of his mind. "Two humans who have high quality training."

"What do you have?" Fowler asked.

Paul let out a laugh, time to make up some complete random crap that was going to make sense. "I'm a CEO of a very successful technologies company Agent Fowler. I have hired assassins coming after me on a regular basis. They are one of the reasons I came out on this little trip. But, before I got the idea to just get away from it all, I had intense training in a few martial arts fields and those have been tested by said assassins."

"Yeah, plus, Silas tried to run them off the road." Miko added. Paul really could throw Miko a parade. "It's personal."

Ratchet groaned and said, "You both are going to get me offlined. Pandimala and Optimus will be after me if you get hurt."

Paul smiled. "Well, what are you waiting for? Get that bridge open. We have to fight Silas."

Pandimala 1st P.O.V.

I let out a stuttered breath. I was not wanting to run into Nemesis before he ran into Optimus. That would not be great. While I wanted to rip the false Prime's helm off, I decided that Optimus was going to fight Silas and beat him to a pulp.

"The deception ends here Silas." I heard Optimus growl.

"Does it?" Nemesis asked.

I heard the echo of their voices travel through the air as I traveled through the area. I was going to make sure that this all turned out okay. Nothing was going to happen to Optimus that wasn't in the show. I watched Optimus and Nemesis fight and I could see that Optimus was not in a very great mood.

After an explosion and some punches, I heard Nemesis say, "My robot chassis possess all you strength, speed, and firepower." It was so tempting to run out there and blindside Silas. But, this was Optimus' fight. He would fight it. "Add my extensive combat training and MECH has clearly achieved the perfect meld of man and machine."

They then threw a few more punches at each other before Nemesis turned and started to climb up one of the cylinder building things. Something felt off and so I climbed up behind without letting Silas see me. That would not help this at all. I stayed out of sight, only peeking up to see if I was needed.

When they took out their blades, I knew that it was about to get serious. Also, I knew that Optimus was going to be stabbed. But, he was going to be okay so I had to hold myself back until I saw something that said this had changed, that Optimus' life was at risk. But, until that time, I would wait. So, I peeked up again.

I felt my spark stop and my optics widen as Optimus was stabbed. It was so hard not to fly at Silas, though I could probably make a jump from the distance I was, that I was mentally yelling at myself to stay back, that Optimus would be fine.

"But the key difference between you and me," Nemesis started, which made me growl softly. Couldn't afford to let Silas see me. "my body can't feel pain!" I then winced as Silas stabbed into Optimus deeper. When said bot fell, I waited. "This is just the beginning. Imagine a whole army of transforming robots. No one will stand against the newly rebooted MECH." It wouldn't be long until Optimus got up. Any second now. But, as the minutes ticked by, he just stayed there. Of course, so did Silas so that meant that Fowler, and probably Paul, were distracting him. But, when Silas started to move again, which meant that Paul and Fowler hadn't been able to do much, I felt my spark stop.

No. Optimus wasn't moving. He was out. That meant that something had changed. Silas was going to pay.

"SILAS!"

The robot turned to me and I snarled as I climbed up onto the platform. He was going to pay. No one damaged my family and got away with it.

"And who are you? Must be a new recruit. Well, your time here on Earth is going to be short." Silas stated.

"You are going to pay!" I growled. I could feel the anger building up inside of me. It was like the one I felt in South America but, at the same time, it was different. This wasn't red hot anger. No. This was cooled and hardened hatred. Silas was going to pay for this.

I roared as my anger was released from my cannons. In a surprise twist on me, the shot was not blaster nor fire. This time, it was ice. Cold ice that was going to be tough to break out of. The robot was panicking, trying to chip away at the ice. But I didn't give it a chance to get free as I ran over and started to pound on it.

"You do not touch my family! I am going to rip you to shreds and your operation will be dust underneath my pedes. You have gone too far." I yelled as I threw punch after punch at the stuck mech.

Eventually, his pedes got loose and he tried to fight back. But, he was too late. He was going to pay. When I finally knocked him to the ground, I jumped into the air and did an exact final blow that Optimus did in the show. Figured I should leave it on a familiar note. But, before the roof caved in, I grabbed Optimus and helped him to the side, for he had finally woken up.

Once I was sure he was okay, I went back to the new opening I had made before I peeked in. I smiled when I saw that Paul and Fowler were alright. "Paul, Agent Fowler?" I asked with a knowing smirk.

The sound of helicopters coming drew my attention. "That would be our boys. You had better get back to base with Prime and the others. I'll handle Uncle Sam."

I smiled and nodded before running down and helping Optimus stand. "Agent Fowler, and Paul...are they?" Optimus started to ask. Always caring about others before himself.

"Fine, they are both fine. Covering our afts while we get out of here. The others are already back at base." Ratchet had called me while I had been searching for Nemesis and Optimus to tell me that they had been taken out and had been transported back to base.

"Pandimala to base, Prime and I could use a pickup." I asked before waiting for the bridge. Once it opened, I helped Optimus through and passed him off to Ratchet.

When I walked over to the others, I realized that Miko was about to ask a question. Great, that was going to be fun. "So, how weird was it to see someone who looked exactly like Optimus kicking the scrap out of you?" Yeah, I knew that was coming. I had my response ready but I wanted to see what the other said.

Bulkhead let out a huff before Arcee said, "It's a sight I won't soon forget."

Before I could throw out my answer though, Optimus said, "The question remains whether MECH will continue to function as we know it without its leader."

"Well, here's the kicker." I jumped when Fowler's voice came from behind me and I turned to see him on the screen. He was scarily good at popping up quietly like that. "We sifted through the wreckage with a fine toothed comb and couldn't find any trace of Silas."

Well, that wasn't a doom and gloom statement that let us recharge peacefully at night. Thanks Fowler.

"Hey, how's Paul doing?" I asked to try and lighten the mood.

Fowler looked like he was about to answer when said god in disguise shoved Fowler out of the way so they were sharing. "Pandimala you have got to get me out of here. These bureaucrats are going to be the end of me. There are reasons why I don't negotiate with them."

I laughed and said, "Sorry Paul, but you made your choice." I then looked at Fowler. "Make sure he gets home without causing the government to start a manhunt for his head."

Fowler nodded at me before the connection was cut. After he did, the others went about their normal duties. But, before I could go and see if Cliffjumper would train with me, Optimus walked up to me. "Pandimala, how did you react to fighting someone who looks like me?"

I could see the worry in his optics and he must figure that I was going to be the one who would give him the most blunt answer. Plus, he was probably worried because of my nightmares. If I was going to end up being scared of him because of this and start having nightmares about it, he wouldn't be the one helping me when I woke up because that might freak me out more. But, I knew that I could be completely honest.

So, I smiled. "Optimus, it didn't bother me to fight Nemesis."

Optimus stared at me in shock and more confusion. "Why?"

Letting out a laugh, I said, "I knew that it was never you from the beginning. There was no way that your morals would ever allow you to do that. Plus, Silas did a terrible job with that cheap knock off, 'Nemesis Prime'. You would think that, for a group who wants to show that it is advanced would have shinnied up the bot and gave it a new paint job. Plus, the optics were the wrong color. Anyone with half a processor could have figured it out pretty quickly that it wasn't you." I then paused. "And, like I said, I know you Optimus. While I might have given Fowler a few bumps on his bumper for laughs if I could, as long as he was safe, I know that you wouldn't do that because of the slight risk that it could possess for their lives. I never thought of Nemesis as you. Nemesis was a Silas that I could beat up on at this size. Not you."

He nodded. "Thank you." I nodded back and turned to leave. "What are you doing now?"

I stopped and turned back toward him. "I was going to find Cliff and see if he would help me train some." Where was this going?

"If you would not mind, I would like to help you train before I have to go on patrol." Optimus asked.

I felt really loved. Optimus was the father figure that I had never had in my life. This was golden. "Sure." I answered before smiling. "Plus, beating your clone doesn't count as beating you. I still have a long way to go for that one."

Optimus nodded and so the two of us went off to train. Eh, I was actually supposed to pick up Paul in an hour but I knew that Optimus didn't have patrol for another two hours. Paul could sit and listen to the government people until then. Who knew? Maybe he would get us some better equipment. That would make the bots' day. Oh, and Optimus was going to have a get out of a prank free pass. He deserved it.

Paul: Well, that was interesting.

Pandimala: No kidding. Now I get to fire ice and fire as well as normal blaster shots out of my shoulder cannons. This is awesome!

Authoress: Just don't use them on me Pandimala.

Paul: *laughs* I doubt she would.

Pandimala: No kidding. I don't want to be killed. I might have some fun with the bots though...minus Optimus of course.

Authoress: Of course.

AN: Baddabing Baddaboom. Here is another chapter up just for you! I hope you all liked it. I worked as fast as I could to get it up. Next chapter is going to be in mainly Paul's view because he is going to be with Agent Fowler as said Agent reports to Brycen. Yeah, I'm glad Pandimala is not going to be there. Don't need her frying her circuits in boredom. Until next time my readers, drop a review, even to say hello. *starts humming song* =)
