Ok, I'm going to finish this. Only a few more chapters left. I will finish this in a timely manner now! I promise.

Sirius and Alex broke apart when they heard a throat clearing loudly behind them. They turned to see Remus, James, and Lily standing behind them, amused looks on their faces.
"What are you two doing in here?" James asked.
"I think the better question is what are you three doing in here?" Alex replied, still in Sirius's arms. The two seemed reluctant to let each other go, even with their audience.
"James and I were doing our head duties, when we caught this one and his girlfriend out after curfew," Lily said, pointing to Remus. "After I sent Bekka on her way to her common room, we escorting Remus here back to our common room."
"By escorting, she means lecturing," Remus mumbled.
"Well, you should know better!" Lily said, exasperated. "Anyways, we were on our way back when we saw the light coming from in here and came to check it out."
"Which brings us back to our original question," James said. "What are you two doing in here?"
"I thought that was pretty obvious," Sirius said dryly. "We were snogging."
"Does this mean you two are finally together?" Remus asked.
"Erm…" Sirius said, unsure. It wasn't something that really had been discussed yet. He looked at Alex questioningly. Alex just shrugged in response. "Maybe…?" Sirius finally said.
"On that note, I'm going to bed," Alex said, giving Sirius a quick kiss, before stepping away. "Good night, ya'll." She shoved her way through the three at the door before they could stop her and question her more. She didn't have the answers to what they were going to ask.
James looked at Sirius expectedly. "So… what was that about?"
Sirius just shrugged. "We were talking then we weren't. Come on; let's get back to the common room before Lily here has a cow about us being out after curfew."
Lily sent him a glare, but didn't disagree. "So what was with the chocolate frogs?" Lily asked, as they made their way back to the common room.
James looked at her confused. "What are you talking about, Lily-kins?"
"Heart had a bunch of chocolate frogs when she left. I'm guessing they were from Sirius."
"I was an ass. So I apologized with a bouquet of chocolate frogs," Sirius mumbled.
"Awe, who knew there was a romantic hiding in you," Lily said, grinning.
Remus looked at Sirius suspiciously. "Where did you get enough chocolate frogs to make a bouquet?"
"Erm…" Sirius said, looking guilty. "I sorta borrowed them… from you."
"You took my chocolate frogs!" Remus yelled.
"Remus Lupin, stop yelling this instant," Lily said.
"But he took my chocolate!"
"I don't care. It was for a good reason. Now enough yelling."
"He could have at least asked," Remus said, sulking.
"I could have and you would have said no. I doubt you'd even share with Bekka," Sirius said. Remus glared at Sirius. "I'll make it up to you, I'll buy you twice as many next Hogsmeade weekend."
"You better not forget," Remus said, someone what mollified.
James laughed. "Like you would really let him forget."
Bekka was in the Slytherin Common room, curled up with a good book, waiting for her best friend. When Alex finally walked through the common room, Bekka waved her over. She knew they should sleep after all tomorrow was their last day of classes before N.E.W.T.s, but she was anxious to find out who Alex had gone to see. "So you gonna tell me what that was all about and why you have a whole bunch of chocolate frogs there?" she asked.
Alex stared at her friend before shrugging. "I don't know. I haven't even made sense of it all. How can I explain something that doesn't even make sense to me?"
Bekka shrugged. "I'm not sure. Just try, maybe talking it out will help you make sense out of it."
"I went to see Sirius," Alex said, slowly.
"Oh dear god, tell me you did not leave him tied up in some classroom again," Bekka said, her eyes widening with worry.
"Calm down, he left with Remus, Potter, and Evans," Alex said. Bekka breathed a sigh of relief before Alex continued. "Now shush and I'll tell you everything that happened."
Alex launched into the story of everything that Sirius had said about her being special to him to the fact that he was feeling the same way she did when she found out that Jason got the mark and finished with "and then we were kissing."
Bekka stared at her best friend. "You kissed?" She asked, grinning.
"Yes, and the rest of them showed up and asked if we were finally together. Sirius looked at me and I just shrugged. I don't know what we are. I mean it was just a kiss and it's not like it's the first one we've shared, but I don't know, something felt different. Ugh, this was all so much easier when I hate him!" Alex groaned.
Bekka couldn't hold back her laughter. "Of course it was easier. I'm pretty sure love is the most difficult thing in the world, but it's worth it. Just give him a chance. He could make you happier than you could ever believe."
"Or he could infuriate me more than I could ever believe," Alex mumbled. She wasn't sure if she was ready to give this thing a shot or not.
"He already does that," Bekka pointed out.
Alex scowled at her. "Let's just get some sleep. I be able to think clearer in the morning."
Bekka agreed and the girls headed upstairs and quickly fell asleep.
The next morning, their breakfast was once again interrupted by Sirius. "We need to talk," he said, looking at Alex.
Alex looked somewhat relieved. She had been worried that they were go back to their usual fighting and pretend like the kiss had never happened like they had every time before.
"Let's not do it here, with everyone listening though ok?" Alex said, grabbing a roll and a few pieces of bacon. "Let's go for a walk."
Sirius nodded in agreement. The two stood up and started to leave.. "Have fun," Bekka called after them. "Don't forget potions is first thing after breakfast and with N.E.W.T.s tomorrow neither of you can afford to miss that.
Sirius and Alex both turned around and stuck their tongue out at Bekka, before realizing the other was doing the same. The two broke out into laughter, and exited the Great Hall still laughing.
Bekka turned her attention back to Sev. "I think they will be good together," she said, grinning, before she realized that Sev's attention wasn't even on her, a sad look on his face.
"Sev?" she asked. After getting no response, she followed his gaze. She found it lingering on a certain redhead Gryffindor that sat laughing with her boyfriend. Bekka frowned. She may have been able to get Sirius and Alex together, but that wasn't going to happen for Sev. Lily was happy with James now, and that was partially Bekka's fault as well.
"It'll be ok, Sev," she said, placing a hand on his arm. He finally tore his gaze away and looked at Bekka. "This is just Hogwarts, we'll be out of here soon and there will be plenty more people for you to meet and fall in love with," she said, cheerfully.
"Not as amazing as her though," Sev said, sadly. "Come on it's almost time for potions."
Remus and Bekka met for lunch in the Kitchens. While the whole school knew they were together now, they had learned before that it was easier to eat together in the kitchens. That way they could avoid the venomous glares from the Slytherins and the distrustful glances from the Gryffindors. Bekka was unusually quiet for lunch and when Remus questioned her about it, she shrugged and said a lot was on her mind.
"So N.E.W.T.s start tomorrow," Remus said, trying to coax her to talk.
Bekka nodded. "Yeah, then graduation and we're gone… out into the real world."
"We'll be okay though," Remus said. "I actually had something I wanted to ask you about that…"
Bekka looked at him, surprised. "What's up?"
"Well, erm...you see I already know what my parents are getting me for graduation…" Remus said, uncomfortably.
"Ok… what's that?" Bekka asked, impatiently.
"They're giving me a cottage near a lake I used to love as a child. It has a storage shed that they're reinforcing for when I'm not myself..."
"That's nice," Bekka said, wondering where this was going.
"It's honestly too big for just me. So I was wondering, um, if you would like to come, erm, live with me," Remus said, scratching his head and staring at the floor.
Bekka grinned at him before tackling him in a hug. "I would love nothing more," she said, kissing him.
Remus sighed in relief; he had been worried she would say no. "Glad that's out of the way."
Bekka grinned at him. "It's almost time for class. Want to meet after dinner?" she asked.
Remus sighed. "As much as I would love to, Sirius is insisting that he has something urgent to talk to me about. He tried to drag me out of class to talk about it. I refused. It's the day before N.E.W.T.s what is he thinking? What could possibly be more important than that right now? Even James was annoyed."
Bekka frowned. "I don't know. But maybe you should listen and see what he has to say?"
Remus shook his head. "I know, we just can't afford to miss classes the day before the exams, which is why I promised I'd meet him after dinner to listen to him."
Bekka nodded her head. "It's fine. I'm sure what he has to say is important."
Remus looked at Bekka and wondered if what Sirius wanted to talk about had anything to do with what had been on Bekka's mind all lunch. He mentally shrugged and told himself it would be fine as the two went their separate ways for class.
That night Remus was surprised to see his girlfriend in a screaming match with none other than Severus Snape.
"You just go around manipulating guys to get your way!" Sev yelled. "Well I'm done being one of those guys. I can't believe it took me this long to see it!"
"Well, I don't need you anyways!" Bekka yelled. "You're just a stupid boy."
"You're an ice queen! You don't care about anyone other than yourself! You're heartless!"
Bekka flinched at the words being yelled at her, but didn't break. "Well, I'm glad you finally figured it out! Then again if you were a real friend you would have been able to see the real me long ago. So thanks for being fake, just like everyone else!"
"Reg was right to walk away when he did! I only wish I had done it when he did!"
"I wish you had done it back in first year than I wouldn't have to listen to you go on and on about someone that would never look at you twice. And then listening to constant whining after you called her a mudblood. It was ridiculous!"
"Sod off. She is a mudblood and you're her friend! You're just as bad as the rest of them! You are a pureblood, but you're going to run off and a muddy it up! Fine, I want no part of this!"
"That's fine with me. I don't want or need you in my life anyways, you greasy hair twat," Bekka raised her glass of pumpkin juice and dumped it over his head, before storming out of the Great Hall. Alex cast a disgusted look at Sev before chasing after Bekka.
Remus stood to follow, but Sirius pulled him back down.
Remus glared at him. "Look, I'm as angry as you are right now," Sirius said. "Part of me wants to hex him into the next century. But what I need to talk to you guys about is much more important, even more important than Snivellus."
Remus stared at him surprised. He gave the doors one last glance before sighing in defeat. She was long gone now, and he would have to talk to her later even if it meant stealing James's invisibility cloak.
So a lot happened this chapter. Hopefully it wasn't too confusing. I just got a new laptop (a very cheap one but hopefully much more reliable than the old one) so hopefully the next chapter will be posted soon. Their year at Hogwarts is coming to an end and I have a few things that need to happen before it does. Anyways stay tuned. :)
And review. It helps me. Haha.
