And, the angst is paused for the time being. Not stopped, mind you, just paused. That's mostly because I can't not write angst. Anyway, read on!

Harry knew he had to set this right with Kurt. If he ever wanted a relationship between the two of them, he had to come clean about his issues. He decided to go to Kurt's place so Kurt wouldn't be able to shut him out or deflect the topic as he did during the party.
He went walking, thankful for the cold wind against his face and reached his house in no time. He knocked on the door, which was immediately opened by Kurt.
Kurt gave him an undecipherable look, then said, "I can't talk now. We're in the middle of lunch, so I'll text you later."
Before Harry could reply, Burt's voice rang out, "Who's out there? If it's your best coffee buddy, invite him over. You've made enough for five people, and he can enjoy your brilliant cooking."
Kurt petulantly said yes and allowed Harry in. It was a sign of what had gone wrong between them that Kurt didn't look happy to see Harry, and that made Harry sad.
He sat right opposite Kurt as Burt had almost finished his food. He patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "Take your time, bud. You can always stay here if you want."
Burt then looked at Kurt and said, "Don't do the dishes. I'll do them after the game gets over." He left, leaving an aura of awkwardness around the dining table.
Harry started, "I need to talk to you, Kurt."
Kurt said, "I think you made everything clear at Rachel's party, Harry."
That hurt, but Harry knew he deserved it. He continued, "I messed up, Kurt. Will you at least give me a chance to tell you what I feel?"
Kurt was still frowning, but Harry could see a glimmer of hope in Kurt's eyes and vowed not to bring it down again.
Kurt said, "I guess so."
It fell flat, but Harry knew he could turn this around. They had the rest of their meal in peace, and Kurt gestured to the stairs as he called out, "Dad, Harry's coming up with me. Call if you want anything."
Burt nodded, not moving away from the screen.
Harry entered the room, and he felt a little scared. He was opening his heart up to someone for the first time. Ron also knew about this, as did Draco, but they were present when everything took place, and so didn't have to be explained.
He told Kurt, "Take a seat. This might take a while."
Kurt frowned, "I'm not sure, Harry. I think it's better if we stay frieā¦"
Harry had put a finger to Kurt's mouth but removed it immediately. "Please? Just hear me out."
Kurt reluctantly nodded and sat on the bed.
Harry was sitting on one of the chairs, but ended up walking across the room, thinking exactly how to phrase all of his issues while at the same time not revealing the magic part of it.
He started:
I did tell you about my aunt and uncle. After that, when I went to school for the first time, it was like everything had turned upside down. Everyone wanted to be my friend, everyone wanted to shake my hand, but none of them knew me, the real me, that is.
It turned out that my parents were famous, which also made me famous. That meant, I had a persona to keep in public, one I had no idea about. Everyone expected me to act a certain way, talk a certain way, keep the perfect friends, it was too confusing.
Hermione, Ron and I became best friends within the first three months of our first school year, and when we all went through puberty, I was linked to the only girl I spent most of my time with.
Back at Hogwarts, they don't encourage homophobia or any bullying based activity. I was still figuring out what I felt like. However, circumstances pushed me into labeling myself as straight. I didn't know that nobody would bully me, but the popular thing came up again and apparently, I needed to be straight to appeal to the masses.
So when my best friends asked me who I was looking at, I didn't talk about the tall, cute and friendly boy from Hufflepuff, I said it was the Asian girl he was about to start dating. I even asked her out to keep the ruse. However, I didn't feel like being friends with her, much less faux-date her.
Then came Ginny. For some reason, she'd been a fanof me even before she knew me personally. She was also the younger sister of Ron, so I thought of her as a sister.
But there were so many people who somehow presumed because I looked like my Dad, and she had the same color hair as my Mom, we should have been dating since we first saw each other. This was something which absolutely made no sense to me, but I still agreed. I ended up kissing her in front of everyone in my House.
I never felt anything deeper than a friendship for her, but I let it go, till everything got over. We graduated, spent a year hitchhiking, and then I knew I had to tell her the truth.
I told her I was gay, and never fell in love with her.
She was supportive, and even said she'd be my wingwoman in case I needed one. I had only two people left to tell.
The Weasley patriarch knew I was gay even though I hadn't come out to him. He was the one who actually got the house here for me. I decided I should tell Ron and Hermione that I liked boys more than I did girls.
Ron was, is and always shall be my brother. He took it in stride and asked me if I wanted to play ball with him. I took it as a positive note that two out of three reacted to it positively.
However, when I told Hermione, she told me I was delusional. That it was a matter of chemicals in my brain. When Ron came to check what the ruckus was all about, she called me the f-word.
Immediately after that, I came over here.
Harry wiped a tear that was rolling down his cheek. He said, "And that is the story of my messed up life. Why would you want to date me after that?"
Kurt looked shocked as he said, "You are a wonderful man, Harry Potter. After all your suffering, no wonder you feel being alone is better. But I don't want you to be alone anymore."
He stood up from the bed and walked towards Harry. Harry knew a hug was coming. He reached out for Kurt and Kurt's arms wrapped around him.
Harry mustered up the courage to kiss Kurt on the cheek. However, Kurt was planning to do the same and their faces ended up towards each other as they kissed each other on the lips.
Harry realized that Kurt had really soft lips. He kept pressing small kisses on Kurt's mouth, who seemed to return them with vigor.
About two minutes later, Kurt spoke up, "So are we doing this, Harry?"
Harry smiled widely. "Would you like to be my boyfriend, Kurt?"
The only reply he got was Kurt pushing him to the floor in his excitement and kissing him again.
