Neal thought he had put this all behind him – really, he knew he hadn't, but was pretending was nice. After centuries on the run, he wants to be angry when he's caught, when Emma tries dragging him back to his father – and in a way, he is. But in another way, there's a small part of him that wants to be glad he has a chance to stop running. There's a part of him that wants to go with Emma again, be with Emma again… and maybe there's even a tiny, long-buried part of him that wants to see Rumplestiltskin.
