Chapter 16 F (part 2.3) 3
Elegit and Filia vs. Olga and Cantata
Keep in mind that this was produced from an R.p with a friend. Because of this, I had to ass-pull a lot because he wouldn't stop impaling my characters in this fight. Other then that, I think it's ok.
Ra'zar and Blue stood side by side, meditating while standing next to the entrance leading to the final top floor. The two opened their eyes and glanced further down the steps where Jack had been standing guard at.
"I will hold down the next floor below, it seems we lost four already. I wonder how Olga and Cantata are going to hold up." Ra'zar said, cracking his neck.
"Cantata and Olga work better together due to their special abilities like yours. Cantata is older than all of us and wise in strategic matters when it comes to combat. Olga will react quicker and not hold back. She does not toy with her prey."
"Heh, don't treat me like some brat. I know how they work, you ^ #* ." Ra'zar chuckled before walking down the steps pass Jack. "I will be sure to bring you Night Shadow's head right after I give that mare of his a nice ride."
Blue rolled his eyes and folded his arms. Jack gritted his teeth angrily at the gryphon that started laughing.
Olga kept her distance from the strange cloaked figure as he was busy reading to himself next to a chemistry set table. The place they were in was almost like an horrific laboratory. The ominous scenery had already sent shivers down the Diamond Dog's back. She could already smell the intruders from the long hallway down and grinned, but eventually the grin vanished when Cantata glanced at her.
"You will have to leave the mare for me to take care of. She has a blood level that I must use for my research." He said.
"W-what? You can't be serious. What if I can't and have to fight them both?" She asked.
"Don't worry, I will assist you. Just get that mare separated from the stallion and I will handle her."
Olga scoffed before folding her furry arms.
"Fine."
Elegit and Filia appeared in the large room, taking note on the surroundings.
"Filia, I need you to be serious for these guys, they won't hesitate to kill you and they are experienced killers." Elegit informed, adjusting his dark robes.
"Well so was everypony else we faced." Filia said, happily
The area they were in was full of tubes, glass bottles, and alchemical potion mixtures. The ceilings were old and decaying with cobwebs formed on each side down the hall. The floor was decaying too, containing moss that seeped through cracks of the surface.
"Wow, this place is so old." Filia said, with a smile. "Like my grandmother."
"Your grandmother is dead, Filia."
"Exactly!" She shouted.
Elegit rolled his eyes.
"You amaze me sometimes." He said, bluntly.
"Yeah, I tend to do that."
"Lets keep moving."
"Twin Raven!" Olga yelled, throwing two sharp metal rods towards the two ponies from a distance.
The Two dodged easily before they struck the ground roughly. Filia was now hovering in the air as Elegit readied his magic.
"You should at least warn me first before you try to thrust a rod inside of me." Filia said, smirking
"Filia, take this seriously!" Elegit ordered.
Olga emerged from the darkness growling at the two.
'One skilled in magic...he's going to be trouble.' She thought, glaring at Elegit.
She soon equipped two more rods from her sleeves and ran forward towards him.
'Let's just do this.'
Elegit braced himself as he fired magical blasts at Olga as Filia decided to just watch casually examining her bayonett. Olga eyes narrowed as the blast of magic went the opposite direction, destroying a wall by her side. The Diamond Dog smirked as she came through the smoke, readying her sharp weapons and swung. The green pony dodged the swing with a side step before punching the dog in the chest, smashing right into the metal chest plate.
"Die!" She yelled, swinging her rod, before throwing the other one that was held in her left paw straight towards Fillia that was a distance from her.
Elegit ducked under the blade and six-inched punched Olga into the stomach. Filia's eyes widened as she ducked under the rod, taking some fur off of her back.
"You really want to put your rods inside me don't you." Filia chucked.
Olga glared at Elegit, remaining unfazed as she lifted her sharp rod and brought it down into his right shoulder. The pony grunted in pain as he grabbed Olga's arm, turned around, and flipped her over onto her back. The magician brought his hoof up and readied to punch the dog's head.
Olga's eyes narrowed as she slammed her free paw into the ground causing two rods that the ponies had dodge to burst out from the ground impaling his shoulder and hoof.
"Twin Raven's special technique: Magnetic blood attraction!" She grinned before kicking him back and flipping onto her feet.
'Damn, already wounded.' Elegit though as he landed onto the ground roughly.
The unicorn carefully used his magic to remove the rods and heal himself.
'I need to be more careful.'
Elegit charged up his magic, firing at Olga with compressed beam of green power. Olga's eyes narrowed as the magical blast went towards Fillia. The magician eyes widened as he redirected the magic past Filia, blasting a hole through a wall.
"Now you to, Elegit? I know im hot, but please calm yourselves." Filia teased.
"Vile words coming from a third-rate hack." Olga commented, glaring at Fillia.
"A third-mac attack? What?" Filia asked in confusion.
"Is she really this dumb?" Olga questioned, looking at the mare irritated.
"That wasn't my doing, Filia." Elegit said. 'Ok diamond dog, what are you hiding behind that smile of yours.' He thought. "Oh and don't mind her, you have me to deal with right now." Elegit declared, letting his horn overflow with magic.
Olga eyes glared at him as she readied another rod into her paw. Without either of them knowing, Cantata emerged from the darkness, wrapping his tail around Fillia. He used the hard base to cover her mouth.
"You are coming with me." He whispered in her ear before releasing a knock-out gas from a small hole on his tail.
Once she was knocked out, he submerged into the shadows, taking her with him.
"Unicorns...always needing their damn magic, huh?" Olga commented in digust.
"Hehehe, two words...Night Shadow." Elegit said with a smirk. "Other then that, you are correct, but I learned to not rely on it all the time."
"Pfft, it does not matter what you rely on anymore, you're dead." She said stabbing two rods into the ground before equipping two more. "I will hang your head for display!" She yelled, running towards him.
Elegit dashed forward and then faded just as he reached her. Olga eyes narrowed as she reached out towards him but Elegit suddenly reappeared before her and uppercut her chin with his hoof, knocking her to the ground. Olga regained her footing after flipping back from the bounce and landing on the wall.
'Hmm...he can fade...but let's see if his spatial magic can out match my ability.' She thought throwing a rod into the ceiling and soon into the wall on her right.
She then leaped onto the ground and ran towards Elegit, equipping another rod into her paw.
'Ceiling and left wall.' He though, flashing green for a split second before appearing next to Olga and kicking the rod out of her paw.
Olga smirked as she swung her rod. As it phased through him, her eyes narrowed, scanning for any weak spots in the spell. Soon, she brought forward her free paw preparing to land a strong blow.
'Let's see if your defense has a flaw behind it.'
Elegit grabbed the paw with his magic, stopping it just as it touched his mussel. The diamond dog's eyes narrowed again before she instantly vanished and appeared over his head, slamming her right hind-leg into his back, before kicking him to the side.
"It seems your use with that defense spell was pointless." She laughed.
Elegit recovered, glaring at Olga as he suddenly sunk into the ground
'So, he is going to phase through things now. Too bad for him that I set up this place from the start. These rods are not only the biggest threat, it's me in general.' She thought.
The green pony reappeared right above Olga as his right hoof shining brightly with green magic, ready to smash into the fighter until Olga looked up and vanished, appearing on the wall next to the metal rod.
'I am faster than him.' She thought, grinning as she equipped a rod into her paw.
The rod sparked green just before it ignited, firing out waves of green electricity.
Olga eyes narrowed as she leaped to the right.
'Re-angle raven.' She thought as the green electricity went towards Elegit.
The unicorn pointed his glowing hoof at Olga and fired the built up magic in a large , green burst. Olga gritted her teeth and this time leaped to the right, dodging the blast before throwing her rod straight at him.
'This is getting nowhere.' Elegit thought, redirecting the rod to impale the wall to his right.
'Might have to increase my energy and see where he might slip up on. Soon, he will show his weakness and I will go in for the kill.' She thought, equipping another rod. 'I will make him nothing more than bone powder.'
Strapped to the metal table, Fillia had awakened and found herself in the dark lab of the cloaked unknown monster. Cantata had been busy examing his samples of blood, using a microscope. He was getting annoyed, however, by the sound of Fillia's voice. Her continuous complaints only aggrivated him.
"The straps are too tight and the room is way too dark! How can you even see with that mask on anyways!" Filia shouted.
"Child, be quiet, I'm trying to concentrate here." He groaned.
"All you have done is take samples of my blood. If you're going to rape me then do it, I could care less as long as I can get back by five. I have something else to do."
"Who would want to waste their seed in a worthless whorse like you." He stated in disgust.
"Like just about everything I know...even some animals and plants…" She whispered.
"Just be quiet." He ordered, looking at the small cells and giving a light chuckle. "Amusing, very amusing, it seems it matches that old pathetic excuse of a pony's blood, too."
Filia yawned.
"What's this about anyways, tell me, Im so bored!"
"Do you know that you are of lineage to the ancient alicorn, Ruzi'sah of the southern region or where it once was, the kingdom of gold. It has been years since I last saw this type of blood after ripping that old stallion's heart out and taking it as my own." He said.
He soon turned to her as his scorpion tail raised high in the air.
"That makes you reliable for my experiment."
"Whatever, just do something interesting for once besides messing around on that table."
"Soon, what interesting thing I would be doing is taking out your heart and replacing it with that old fool's."
Filia sighed in frustration.
"That's sounds so dull! There's no story or plot to it! Isn't this the part where you tell me your master plan or something!"
"I have no plan. My plan had failed since the time Celestia's great grandmother was born." He stated as a gryphon's talon reached out from the cloak towards her.
"What are you going to do with that, scratch my stomach...though...that does sounds really good right now." Filia sighed.
He did not gave her another second to speak when the sharp tips touched the sides of her right eye, beginning to sink in.
"I will take your eye first and perform the spell." He said.
"HEY, THAT FREAKIN HURTS YOU IDIOT!" She yelled, pulling back her head and biting his talon.
He grumbled before moving out a hoof from his cloak, grabbing her head.
"Stand still." He growled.
Filia started to scream loudly, shaking about like a two year old desiring candy. He eventually managed to grab the eye and soon started pulling it back slowly.
"GET YOUR OWN EYE YOU RAPIST!" Filia yelled, somehow breaking her hoof out of her leather binding and punching Cantata in the face. Cantata backed away, grumbling angrily.
"You should know when to stay still, now I am going to rip off your legs." He growled.
"You tried to rip my eye out! Why in the world would I let you do that!?"
'I need to find my gun...but hey, at least I'm not bored.' She thought.
"Just hearing you is annoying me even more." He growled as his scorpion tail headed straight towards her.
"WHAT'S WITH ALL THE PONIES TRYING TO IMPALE ME!?" She yelled, dodging the tail.
Cantata appeared by her side and smacked her into a wooden table. His tail retracted back into his cloak as he watched her in the table's debris.
"Children, you are all loud and annoying."
"You're the one that can keep your claws to yourself!" Filia said, looking around.'Where the heck is it.'
Cantata took one step forward and soon rushed straight towards her with his scorpion tail ready.
'Got to improv.' she thought, jumping over the cloaked figure and grabbing a syringe.
Cantata did not move, waiting for the right moment before his dragon's wing burst out from his cloak smacking her into the wall.
"Of all the things..." Filia whispered.
"You can't even fight." He said, walking towards her.
"Sure I can't." Filia said, rolling her eyes.
She lunged forward and performed fifty rapid punches to Cantata's face, chest, and stomach. With the last punch, she jammed the syringe into his neck and kick before grabbing the side of his cloak.
"I've had enough" He said, pulling it off.
This revealed a monstrous hybrid. He had the eyes of a dragon, head of a gray pony with a black mane, body and wings of an insect, and legs of both a pony and gryphon.
"I will see fit that your corpse is wiped away by acid when I am finish wit you."
"What in Celestia's name are you?!" Filia screeched, backing up a bit.
"What I am is of none of your concern, but surely soon, a piece of you will be a part of this body." He said.
"I don't think I want to..."
"I never gave you a choice." He said walking towards her, crushing the floor beneath him for each step he took.
"And...there's the door..." Filia said, darting out the exit.
A scorpion tail burst out from the ground within her path sending out poisonous smoke. Acting quickly, Filia shot forth a burst of air from her wings, dispersing the smoke so she could fly through. In the middle of the smoke was Cantata swinging his gryphon's fist, punching her back.
"Your escape here is pointless."
"Pointless, you're trying to kill me, I think trying to escape has a point here." She said, standing back up. 'Need a weapon fast!' She thought
"Dragon Breath!" He yelled firing a large blast of fire towards her.
"OH COME ON!" Filia yelled, covering herself with her wings and hooves.
As the blast of flames hit her, the hybrids tail flew at her. Filia leaned back just before the tail made contact, slightly breezing through her hair as she flipped to the ground.
'I need a better angle over this guy, otherwise i'm going to be a shishkabob.'
Cantata's wings opened as he flew towards her while his tail retracted back to him.
"And...time to go." Filia said, jumping over him and flying off
Cantata glared back at the mare flying away and flew towards her gritting his teeth angrily. Filia looked around to see large pillars everywhere. Flying by one, she grabbed it, flew around it and flipped kicked Cantata as he flew by before darting away again. Cantata roared in anger slamming against a pillar, shattering it into pieces before opening his mouth towards the fleeing mare.
"Damn child!" He yelled, "Dragon Bullet!" He fired a breath of blue fire, heading straight towards her at an alarming rate.
"Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!" Filia started to shout, flying into a hallway and slamming the door.
When the blue fire it, the door blew open sending her sliding on the floor as the scorching flames flew over her head, just inches from touching her coat. The lanterns were all put out by the blue fire as it began spreading. Walking through the doorway was the chimera, glaring down at her angrily.
"Hi, the mare you're trying to kill is not here at the moment...please go away." Filia said, backing away. 'Where the ( is my gun!' She thought.
Cantata's scorpion tail raised up in the air, pointing down at her. The chimera founded this amusing and smirked in triumphant.
"Children like you are all so reckless. I've fought plenty of you who done the same thing you are doing right now and I will tell you this...it is just simply...pathetic."
"I'm so sorry I disappointed you...please...don't hurt me." Filia said with sarcasm.
His tail slammed straight into the ground, piercing through the stone. It was only inches from her face as another stabbed into the ground on the other side. He leaned down, just inches from her and grumbled quietly to himself.
"Death comes faster than being hurt."
"Ooooo, so scary..." Filia said, yawning
Taking this as his opportunity to quiet her, he grabbed her tongue with his talon and began pulling it back.
"I will rip out that tongue of yours."
"lee go mm tounnn!" She yelled, kicking him in the stomach.
The chimera found her weak hits unfading and continue pulling. He soon stopped and leaned down to her.
"I decided that you should die a more pleasing way...I am going to dissect you slowly and make sure your body is dissolve in acid right after I take that heart of yours."
Filia continued to pound away at the chimera, but nothing made him budge.
"Look at you squirm, you're not the only one. Instead, I want to see you cry while doing that. Children cry when they are in pain. They cry when something hurts them either physically...or mentally." He grinned, "So cry for me...cry as I rip out this precious piece of garbage from your mouth." He growled angrily in her ear pulling harder.
Filia looked to the side and grabbed one of the stone shards on the ground. With a quick trust, she jabbed Cantata's eye and twisted the stone. As a result, the hybrid let go of her tongue and roared in pain. His tails retracted as his back pressed against the wall.
"You insolent brat!" He hollered, "I will dissolve you in acid!" He yelled, glaring angrily at her with his only seeing eye.
Filia took her chance and ran off into another room, closing the door behind her to cut off his line of sight. Cantata pulled out his severe eye and quickly dug his talons into his right chest, beginning to pull out black thread.
"I have not done this in ages since I fought that blasted dragon, Typhoon." He growled angrily. He soon pulled out an eye from the black thread and inserted it into his eye, ignoring the blood streaming down from the hole in his chest. When he got up from the ground, he looked around and spotted a door leading into another room.
"You can't escape from me."
Filia continued to fly away, checking every door and room for anything she could use.
"Nothing in here...nothing in there...where is it?!" She asked, flying down the hall.
Cantata soon came crashing down from the ceiling, blocking her path as black thread like tendrils burst out from his back. The chimera thrust his scorpion tails, yelling: "I got you now!"
"No you don't!" Filia said, slidding under him to get to the next hallway.
He glared back at her and launched his black tendrils as the mare took off flying down the hall till she reached another stone door. She quickly stopped and slammed it shut before flying down another hallway and disappearing in the dark. Cantata grew irritated by the mare's continuous attempts to escape from him and decided to unleash more of his body's grotesque abilities. As his wings opened up wide, he slammed his talons and hooves into the ground, causing the place to shake. His eyes narrowed as he began dissolving into black tendrils, sinking into the cracks in ground. It took only minutes, but eventually, the chimera was gone.
Filia stopped in a large room full of plants and statues she could never even imagined existed.
"Well this is different, considering all the other places i've seen." Filia commented, looking for a place to hide.
As she walked through the exotic plants, she spotted dozens of cables connected to a large tube. Within the tube was blue liquid, but floating in it unconsciously was a white mare who was an earth pony. Next to it were five tables either full of books or chemical tools. Surrounding the tube were white lilies, slowly wilting.
"Ok...not something I wanted to see..."
The sound of metal crashing into the ground was soon heard coming from the exit. Filia looked around frantically until she found what she was looking for.
"My gun! Oh I missed you so much!" She proclaimed, jumping over the table to grab it.
"Where is she?" Cantata muttered under his breath as he scanned the room. He soon walked up to the mare in the tube and rested his talon on it.
"She can't be here, it would not make sense...would it?" He muttered to himself. "I will have her heart when I find her." He grumbled.
Filia remained silent as he heard Cantata talking. She checked her arisaka rifle for ammo...three bullets.
'Where's the rest of it?' She thought, gripping the weapon tighter.
"She is here...if she was not in any of the other rooms, she has to be in here, but where?" He wondered, looking around until he spotted the down table. "Found you, it's pointless to hide, I blocked the only exit here with my tendrils, so give up and allow me to dissect you." He said, beginning to grin.
Filia stood up and pointed the bayoneted rifle right at him.
"Not another step." She said, with new found confidence.
"Heh, that pathetic tool. Do you think you can kill me with that?" He questioned, walking towards her.
Filia narrowed her eyes, slowly point the gun at the mare to her left.
"I SAID NOT ANOTHER STEP!"
He suddenly stopped and gave her a death stare.
"I don't know who she is or what she means to you, but she's obviously is important to you. You're going to do what I say or I put a bullet in her head, understand!" The mare asked, angrily.
Cantata narrowed his eyes at her angrily.
"What is it that you want, child?"
"I want you to give up, end this little charade you and Blue started and let me walk away. Nothing more."
"I cannot let you do that." He said in an irritating tone.
"Why...does your life depend on it! Answer me!"
"All of ours does. Once you enter into a floor, you cannot leave until the user of that floor is dead. There are two users, me and my partner." He said.
"Who designed it that way and for what purpose?"
"It was designed in way based on the users thoughts. It takes forms from their old memories. In other words, this very place is alive, breathing, and bringing forth only a mere illusion of what was the user's home environment. Here...is where I was raised. Science is what made me live. This ground...is merely the work of it. That mare you are threatening to take away from me...is what my goals are intended to awake again into the new world Blue promises."
"So no one can get out until one of us dies."
"Correct." He answered.
"Why is she in there like this..."
"That is none of your business, children cannot understand the work I am doing!" He growled.
"Try me."
He remained quiet before closing his eyes.
"Do you know how old we are?" He asked, adding in the mysterious mare within the massive tube.
"Old i take it."
"Older than Celestia's great-great grandmother." He stated.
"Ok...so really old then."
"Irritating brat. Of course I am. But more than just that, this mare here...her bloodline is connected to the first alicorn in history!" He stated proudly. "Losing her will ruin everything." He soon frowned. "And everything I worked for and sacrificed to keep her alive."
Filia got closer to the mare, keeping her gun pointed until the blade of the gun touched the glass.
"Then you have a problem."
His eyes became widened as he felt anger and fear rushing through him.
"Do not tamper with the glass, if it breaks, she will die! My work will all be for nothing; I will forever lose her and be trap in this world of suffering!" He yelled.
"Well If i can't leave and you want to kill me, what else do I have against you to make you listen! Is that why you want me so bad, so you can bring her back."
He remained quiet, his eyes shook along with his body.
"You do not understand the trouble that I went through, child. For centuries nothing has been able to wake her up!"
"Well #&$ then! What else do you need!"
He had to find a way to save the mare in the tank, but had to also choose his words carefully. "She requires...a heart transplant, but not no ordinary one...one of alicorn descendent." He said. "I've found none so far in my life."
"So because I fit that category, you want my heart?" Filia asked. "What the heck was she doing in the first place to get like this?!"
"She was suffering from a incurable heart disease. It is rare and only strikes certain types of ponies at random. She was the unlucky one, we were close...to solving an ancient spell that allow a user to manipulate the sun and moon at the same time, but she had fell ill to that damn disease and now, she is nothing more but ailing in slow agony. I must save her in any way I can." He stated.
"She just needs my heart?" Filia asked, slightly nervous.
He nodded his head.
"I...might be able to help you...but under my condition."
"What condition is it?"
"I will give her my heart...in exchange for yours..."
He looked at her shocked before closing his eyes thinking to himself for a few seconds. He then opened his eyes and nodded at her.
"So how do I know you're not going to betray me at the last second, and what would she be able to provide to the world?"
"What I yearned for for many years." He said as he jabbed his talon into his chest, beginning to grab his heart. "My happiness." He stated, showing no sign of pain.
Filia started to breath heavily as her heart raced.
"I still don't trust you...but if you're telling the truth...make it quick."
"You will die...for only a few minutes, but reawaken the next. When you do...it will be difficult for death to touch you again." He said, pulling out his heart that continued beating, soon tendrils moved in towards her, slowly wrapping around her hooves.
"What do you mean?"
"You will surely find out in the future." He stated as one tendril pierced through her chest along with another. "I will be sure to sew up the wound."
Filia held back from screaming out her lungs, instead, she bit her lower lips hard, causing it to bleed. Soon, the tendril wrapped around her heart and with sudden force, pulled out causing her to cease breathing. The room became quiet for a few minutes as blood poured out from their wound. Cantata looked at his own heart and moved it into the hole in her chest before sewing and sealing up the wound. Soon, a small runic circle appeared on her wound, spreading green lines across her body.
"Rebirth." He stated, as her dull eyes gained back their color and soon...she began breathing. She was alive.
"THAT HURT LIKE HELL!" She screamed.
His tendrils retracted as he inserted Filia's heart into a big jar full of strange liquid. "Pain is nothing." He said, looking at her.
"Yeah...sure..." She said, laying on the floor. "How the heck are you even walking around without a heart."
"I have twenty hearts from my fallen foes, my body is made to live past centuries. This is the example of my continuous research. I seek to live longer in order to find the right heart to bring her back." He said, looking at the mare within the tank.
"So, can i go now?"
He stared at her for a few minutes before nodding his head.
"You..." He looked away, "you earn my thanks, child."
Filia started to walk out of the door, keeping her gun pointed at the mare.
"Hold on...I thought one of us had to die to get out of here..."
"You are right, but I will not kill you." He said, looking back at her as he rest his body against the tank.
"Ok...that still doesn't solve anything."
"Exactly dear." Ra'zar whispered against Fillia's ear.
Cantata's eyes grew wide as he watched the gryphon appeared by her side, pointing his claw at him. The gryphon laughed before firing a bolt of lightning that went through the open wound within the chimera's body. Cantata was not able to scream out the agonizing pain that went through his body as millions of volts shocked everything in him. He glared angrily at the immortal gryphon, cursing him silently before the painful electro shock ended. He coughed out blood and fell to the side of the ground slowly and painfully dying.
"Hahahaa, that f**ker sure became fried up on the inside like a fish, huh?!" The gryphon taunted, holding the mare tightly so her back was against his feathery chest. "Look at him, dying before his lover's eyes or...body." He said, motioning her head to facing his daemonic eyes.
Filia eyes widened as she tried to remain calm.
"Fried good. F**king fantastic, huh?" He asked, licking his beak as he stared at the sizzling body of the chimera. "Anybody denying to kill their opponent will be kill by me, enough said. Now, about you...you're not my target, but...I guess I can have some fun, hmm?" He asked, sending a large shock through her body while laughing at the same time.
Filia started to scream out loudly as she felt the volts course through her body. She suddenly broke out of his grasp and disappeared down the hall. Ra'zar laughed as he took off after her.
"Run as fast as you can, I'm gonna get you!" He yelled, firing lightning bolts.
Elegit and Olga fought furiously, attempting to draw each others blood. The two fighters broke up when Elegit tired to fired a bolt of magic as his horn was grabbed, blowing each other back against the walls. Olga could spawn as many rods as she could, but it would be too much time for her to produce a large amount in taking him down. She had to figure out how to catch him off guard and using her surroundings was what she was best at.
"You're good, I'll give you that...almost the best I've seen." Elegit complimented.
Olga scoffed and stabbed two rods into the ground before equipping two more.
"You should not compliment me when I am going to kill you."
"You still haven't done it yet, so what's the problem?" Elegit mocked. 'She might get angry, but hopefully it will make her sloppy enough for me to attack.' He thought
She threw her two rods over his shoulders and watched as they slam into the wall, impaling through the stone.
"Grand Pull!" She yelled, pointing her paws at him. The rods right next to her flew straight towards him in incredible speed.
Elegit quickly activated a slow spell as he lept out of the way. Both rods hit him, but they had less punch to it and they only scraped the unicorn's hind-legs as he fell to the side. The groaned in pain as he stood up, healing his wounds quickly and staring at the dog. He had to end it fast, he was running out of stamina to keep his magic up. The diamond dog grinned widely as she pressed her paws together.
Two rods from behind him came heading towards him fast. The green pony hit the floor just as the rods flew over him, but only just. He swore he could feel a breeze now where the fur was taken off from the rods. Olga gritted her teeth as they stopped just inches from her eyes. They soon fell down to the ground.
"You're starting to annoy me."
Elegit's horn glowed as he gave life back to the rods, forcing them to smack her in the face as he appeared in front of her and bucked her through a weak wall behind her. Olga smirked as her rods regained control by her will and smack Elegit back to the ground before floating in the air, pointing down at him. She soon got up from the destroyed wall and equipped two more rods. "Now…Twin Raven." She muttered moving towards him in a zig-zag pattern.
Elegit's figure blurred for a split second as the rods flew through him and crashed into different objects. As he reformed back to a physical form, he shot forth a electric wave of magic and lightning that knocked her back through the walls.
'Not much left now.' He thought. 'I still have last defensive attack, but I will have to hit her when she least expects it.'
Olga got up from the ground, slowly chuckling as electricity from the magic sparked off her. "Boy oh boy, that was a boost." She muttered holding out her paws towards him, equipping two more rods. "What was that suppose to do anyways?" She questioned before vanishing and appearing behind him.
Elegit turned around just before the rods hit his shoulders and jabbed a dagger into her chest. Both fighters stood still for a moment as they accepted and fought off the pain they both received. Olga coughed out blood before grinning at him.
"Biggest mistake you made, rat." She said.
The green pony panted softly as he witnessed his own blood and sweet fall to the floor. He hung his head as his vision blurred slightly, but he shook it off as he looked back up at Olga.
"Now...let's finish this." She let go of her rods and equipped two more, preparing to finish him off from there.
Elegit nodded as he gritted his teeth and continued to pant, still holding onto the dagger in her chest as she swung down her rods. He quickly pushed forward and slammed her into the wall as the rods impaled his back. He let go of the knife and backflipped away from her, removing his black cape in the process. What was underneath where six fold up machine guns that he quickly unfolded with his magic and blasted all 180 bullets into her body along with a large blast from his horn, forming a huge cloud of smoke and rubble. The unicorn collapsed to the ground as the guns fell around him, completely exhausted from the move.
A dark chuckle echoed in the room as the smoke began clearing way for Olga. Her cloak was torn apart, but she kept it on grinning at Elegit. Bullets began floating in the air along with a ball of green energy that appeared to be Elegit's blast of magic. She pointed her paw at Elegit and began twirling around causing the bullets and magical energy to do the same.
"I...can't be taken down by these." She stated before equipping another rod into her paw.
She let go of it as it floated along with the bullets and blast of magic. She glanced at all the rods impaled into walls, ceilings, and ground and licked her lips wet out of excitement. Her plan was set up perfectly. Elegit had no words to say and no words to give. He just couldn't fight anymore and his options were depleted. All he could do was lay on the ground and pant softly.
'Now I will finish him, then Blue, and soon Herus.' She mentally said as she pushed the projectiles forward grinning at the unicorn.
The green pony suddenly vanished from view in a purple blur down pathway of the broken down wall. Olga eyes widened when the one who came in contact with the attack was Ra'zar that turned to her direction in shock before getting hit and blown away by the projectiles and blast of magic. His body crashed into the wall and soon was covered in debris.
"What the?!" She yelled in anger.
Filia kicked down the door to Cantata's lab and put him down on the table
"Ok, ok, keep calm, just find something that could help." Filia said, closing the door behind her.
She started to search everywhere and toss around bottles and ingredients. She eventually found some healing potions and forced Elegit to drink them.
"I don't know who quickly those work, but it will have to do." She said, grabbing a needle and thread. "Just know this will hurt you more a lot more than it hurts me." She said, covering Elegits mouth.
"WHAT THE HELL OLGA?!" Ra'zar voice was heard from outside of the room echoing down the hall.
"Look, you ran in front of it, bird. I don't have to apologize for your stupid behavior. Aren't you supposed to be on your floor?" She questioned.
"Well, I came here because Blue told me to do, anyway, I'm looking after some mare. Her scent leads down to the lab Cantata was in."
"Why did you kill him?" Olga questioned.
"He was planning to let his enemy escape alive."
During the conversation, Elegit regained his grip on reality and looked up at Filia.
"Filia..what are you-
"Just keep drinking." Filia panicked, shoving a stamina potion down his throat
Either being brilliant or foolish, Filia shoved all sorts of potions into Elegits mouth, not knowing what would happen.
"I sort of wish I was in your position, I would love a random stallion to shove all sorts of things down my throat." Filia teased.
"Stay...stay...focused..." Elegit whispered.
"Oooo, big bottle!" She exclaimed, forcing a large, glowing, purple drink into Elegit's mouth.
The green pony almost upchucked until Filia put her hooves over his mouth, forcing it down.
"They're in here." Ra'zar stated.
"But where?" Olga groaned in annoyance.
Filia quickly picked up Elegit and hide behind a large table.
"What the heck did you make me drink." Elegit said, looking more green than usual.
"I made you drink a bottle of shut your yap." She said, shushing him.
"How are you not dead from the blast of magic, did it not vaporized you?" Olga questioned, looking at the gryphon who shrugged his shoulders, before stopping in front of Cantata's corpse, looking up at the mare in the giant tank.
"My god gave me immortality, I can't die." He said, pridefully as the diamond dog rolled her eyes, looking around. "Let's finish her, too."
"Why that mare, isn't she dead?" Olga asked, looking at him.
"Nope, but..." He pressed his talons against the glass and unleashed a large electro bolt causing the water to bubble up and the mare inside to shake before ceasing her movements.
"Now she's dead."
Both Filia and Elegit waited silently for them to finish up what they were doing before attempting to make a move.
'Shooting the bird in the head stuns him for a while, that I know. The dog though...she beat up Elegit. Not sure what I could do against her.' Filia thought.
"Are you done here, I don't have to see you for long right?" She questioned in an irritated tone.
"I will be done when I feel like it!" He snapped, getting in her face only to be impaled in the throat. The gryphon fell to the ground beginning to choke on his own blood as Olga walked pass him.
"Idiot." She muttered.
'Just a bit longer.' Filia thought, closing her eyes.
The gryphon pulled out the rod and got up from the ground glaring angrily at her.
"B**ch!"
"You got in my face." She grumbled, scanning the room. "Where could they be hiding?"
Filia grabbed Elegit's hoof and looked at him calmly. The green pony understood and prepared himself if he had to
"Her scent is coming from there, b**ch's in heat." He insulted, pointing his talons at the flipped table.
'What, no I'm not...am I?' She thought, gripping her rifle.
Elegit's horn lightly glowed as they prepared a quick hit and run maneuver. The unicorn activated the spell, sending every object in the room at the two targets before they made their way out of the room and slammed the door shut.
"Run!" Filia shouted, leading him down a dark hallway.
A bolt of lightning shot into the door before exploding it into the hallway. Inside of the room, all the metal objects floated around the two while Olga's eyes were glowing brightly.
"Go." She muttered and Ra'zar did as that, flying into the hallway laughing as he went after his prey.
"Is it possible to regroup with out friends?" Elegit asked, running with Filia.
"We can't until Olga is dead, but that doesn't explain how the gryphon got in here."
"We're going to try anyways, with all eight of us she won't be able to think straight." The magician said, charging his horn. "Seriously, what did you make me drink, I feel three times stronger than before.
"Careful, It might wear off if you over do it." Filia warned.
"FOUND YOU!" Ra'zar yelled firing a lightning bolt at Fillia.
Elegit jumped in the way and literally grabbed the bolt of lightning and absorbed it into him before blasting it back ten fold, causing the entire hallway to collapse.
"Filia, read the freakin label next time!" Elegit yelled.
"I saved you and this is how you repay me?!" Filia said, grabbing the unicorn and running off.
Ra'zar burst out from the debris laughing as his pulled out the sharp debris in his body. He smirked and followed Fillia's scent again, laughing madly.
"GOT IT!" Elegit said as his horn glowed.
"Got what?" Filia asked.
The two suddenly appeared in courtyard like area surrounded by statues with a fountain in the center.
Ra'zar appeared in the air, staring at Fillia with a dark grin as electricity sparked around his body. "Decided to stop running, sheesh, at least make this chase good." He laughed.
"Get back in your cage, bird!" Elegit shouted, firing a spell at him that pinned him to the wall.
"I'm done running."
"I'm not..." Filia whispered.
Ra'zar growled in anger as he began pushing his body in many directions, until he broke out of the spell. Bones were heard snapping in his body as he laughed off.
"Then you are going to die next!" He yelled flying down towards him, but he then turned his attention to Fillia. "After I kill her!"
Elegit teleported in front of him and slammed his elbow into Ra'zar's stomach.
"You will do no such thing...she's already fought her opponent, fight me instead. I have yet to defeat an opponent or be defeated by one, so come on, I don't have all eternity like you do."
Ra'zar was stunned, but he regained his balance and spat out blood.
"You damn fool. My ceremony has already commenced and she is the sacrifice I shall provide for my lord. You don't want to intervene on me when I am doing this, I get very angry and irritated when f**ks like you perform sacrilege." He growled beginning to spark. He soon grinned and appeared behind him. "I will have none of it." He spoke before slashing Elegit's back causing blood to come out from the deep wound, before flying towards Fillia.
I SAID FIGHT ME YOU PATHETIC DISGRACE TO YOUR GOD!" Elegit screamed.
The gryphon ignored his shouting and fired a bolt of lightning at Fillia. Elegit teleported above the bird and smashed his head into the ground in complete rage as the lightning flew towards Filia. The pegasus' eyes widened as she was hit dead on with the bolt and crash through a wall. Seeing this, Elegit became furious with this arrogant fighter and decided to let his rage flow. He transferred a large wave of magic to his hoof and fired it all in the back of Ra'zar's head, creating a huge hole in the floor and forcing the room to collapse. With this done, the unicorn vanished and teleported Filia away with him.
Ra'zar got up from the ground as his wounds began sealing up. He groaned in pain and glared angrily at Elegit.
"You damn f**k, you know how much that hurts!?"
Ra'zar scanned the area and sniffed the area.
"That motherf**ker really wants to die first, huh? When I get my talons on him, I will rip his throat out and watch as his entrails slide out his damn stomach!" He opened his wings, following the scent of Fillia.
Elegit and Filia reappeared in a dark room, attempting to catch their breath
"This should be far away." Elegit said, putting Filia down onto the floor."
"Something I learned today...lightning hurts...a lot." Filia whispered, slowly standing back up. "He keeps smelling my sent, Elegit, it won't be long till he finds us."
"Smelling your heat...yeah, it's hard not to." The stallion said, blushing lightly. "It's a good thing we're fighting for our lives right now, otherwise might be another story."
"This will be the first and last time I tell you this, Elegit. Stay focused on the mission instead of me, that's what's important."
Elegit was shocked to hear these words from her, but she was right...to some degree.
"True, but he keeps finding use because of that sent. We're going to have to block it out." Elegit said.
"How, you know how a mares heat works. It could last for weeks."
"Ra'zar would be pissed if I just killed you both at once." Olga stated, standing on the ceiling, staring down at them. "But I will stick to the mission and kill that stallion right there." She narrowed her eyes and threw down two rods.
"I guess it doesn't matter now!" Elegit shouted, throwing Filia to the side and dodging the rods.
"I don't think so." Olga said, clapping her paws together. "Grand Pull: Raven Strike!" She yelled, causing Elegit to forcefully fly towards the sharp rods.
Elegit teleported and reappeared next to Olga while using a reverse gravity spell. The two started to fight on the ceiling of the room as Filia retrieved her gun and pointed it at Olga.
"Don't bother Filia, she will just deflect them!" Elegit warned.
Olga eyes narrowed as a sudden burst of energy blew Elegit back.
"Fool." She muttered as her rods floated up and aimed at Fillia. "I will kill you two here, forget what that gryphon thinks. I had enough of you talking and this vile rat living. I am annoyed and have plans to kill that blasted leader. You better understand that in war...there is no such thing as worthy warriors or merciful kills. You kill or be kill. You do whatever you can to survive. Kill. Kill. Kill. Don't think for a second the person you ignored won't shoot you down Because you will end up dead!"
"Her I am, a threat to you and a worthy fighter, yet all you do is talk?!" Elegit said, summoning a ball of magic with his horn. "Keep your eye on the ball, dog, we're about to play the ultimate game of fetch."
She looked up to see the magical ball suddenly fly at her at blinding speeds. Olga eyes turned to the magical ball before it flew past her crashing into the wall. She scoffed and equipped one rod into her right paw.
"You have to kill."
"And I intend to do so." Elegit said, gazing at her angrily.
The sound of metal impaled through flesh was heard, echoing in the room as blood slowly dripped down the tip of the metal rod. Olga smirked as she watched the metal rods through Fillia's stomach and Elegit's.
"I already did it before you." She said as metal scraps around her began floating in the air.
Elegit grabbed the rods with his magic and quickly yanked them out, sending waves of pain throughout both of their bodies. Elegit quickly healed Filia as he held his hoof on his wounded stomach.
"Is that all you can do..." Elegit softly asked, smirking.
Olga growled, pointing her rod at him. "It's over." She muttered.
"B**CH!" Ra'zar yelled firing a lightning bolt at Olga that was soon deflected from a scrap of metal.
The diamond dog slowly turned her head, glaring at the immortal gryphon.
"What is the meaning of this?" She asked.
"You know what is going. That mare over there is mine! I will complete the ritual for my lord or so help me I will replace her with you!" He yelled, getting in her face.
He had no time to avoid a metal rod into his throat again as Olga began walking towards Elegit and Fillia with a killer glare. Eventually, two lightning bolts went past her, causing her to stop.
"She is mine." Ra'zar growled. "I will kill you like I did to Cantata if you get in the way."
The two glared at one another before running towards Elegit and Fillia preparing to take down their prey. It was a battle between two rivaling beasts; dog versus bird. Olga threw two rods at Ra'zar who dodged them and launched two lightning bolts back that eventually deflected.
"I think I've had enough attention for a life time." Filia said, cocking her rifle and pointing it at the two. "I don't care if she's immune to bullets, she has to go."
Olga and Ra'zar both swung at one another and missed their blows. The gryphon smirked as the Diamond dog growled angrily at him. Soon, a large pulse of energy shattered the floor beneath them sending an electrical discharge in the area. The metal on the wall pushed in forward as the floor torn astray. They continued running towards Fillia and Elegit growing closer every second they took a step.
"Filia...I'm going to enchant your weapon with a deadly spell. It will ignore all spells, powers, and defences for a short time. Nothing will be able to block once it's fired from your gun. So make it count." Elegit said, summoning magic to his horn.
Filia's rifle slowly started to glow dark purple as small sparks flew off of it. Having new found courage, Filia pointed her rifle at the two.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Filia said, smiling.
Olga's ears twitched as she grabbed Ra'zar and held him tightly.
"Fine, you win, but I will use you for a while!" She yelled, causing the gryphon to freeze in confusion and soon panicked.
"The hell, let go of me!" He yelled, only to get impaled by three rods. "You stabbed me!"
"To make you into a shield and weapon." She muttered, launching the large metal scraps towards them.
Filia paused at the scene and raised her eyebrow, unsure of what was going on.
"Is this what love is...?" She asked before refocusing.
"Now...fire!" Olga yelled, firing the rods out of Ra'zar's chest that headed straight towards them. Ra'zar's eyes narrowed as he fired a lightning bolt out his mouth, aiming at Fillia. Filia fired her gun, or what she thought was a gun. A huge lightning cloud of purple and black smoke exploded out of her rifle, sending out a bright purple bullet of both metal and magic. The blast from the shot sent Filia flying back and crashing into the wall behind her, cracking the wall in the process. Elegit was completely shocked by the results, never having the chance to test the spell before. The results, however, were pleasing to see because the lightning and rods sent by his enemies never emerged from the smoke.
"F***************K!" Ra'zar yelled in agony as he fell out from the smoke covered in severe burns. "YOU C**T!" He yelled, rolling on the ground as his body sizzled out smoke. Walking out of the smoke covered in a few scratches was Olga, grinning at Elegit.
"That was close, I knew using this immortal was worth it." She said, before equipping a rod into her right paw and running towards the stallion. "Grand pull!" She yelled, causing him to fly towards her by force as she pointed her rod at him, preparing to impale him."You should have listen to me before, fool! Killing is the only way to survive in war; you have to do whatever you can to survive!" She yelled.
Blood splashed on the ground as the sound of flesh being impaled by metal was heard again. Olga grinned at Elegit as her rod was through his chest.
"I missed your heart only by four inches, how lucky are you to not die quickly."
"Do you really think killing me at all will solve your problems." Elegit whispered, grabbing the rod in his chest.
Meanwhile, Filia tried to stand to his hooves, watching the scene before her as she attempted to aim the gun at Olga. Soon, a talon slammed into the wall inches from her face as Ra'zar appeared before her, pressing his forehead against hers grinning.
"I...am thrilled you pulled that off. Not a lot of my prey can really impress me like that, but you...my lord will be very please. Sad that you do not worship him and his glory, you would have made a fine believer." He complimented raising his claw.
While Filia began to fight off the gryphons, Elegit tried to reason with Olga.
"Problems just don't go away by killing them...something I guess you don't understand..." Elegit whispered. "I'm not the problem here...Blue and your friends are. If you don't stop this madness, Herus will kill everyone in this building no matter how powerful you are...there will be nothing you can do if you kill us now."
"I don't care. I will kill Herus and Blue! I will make them suffer for they done to me! I've gotten too far to give up right now!" She yelled, beginning to growl at him angrily. "I will make sure they die the worst ways possible."
"Do you even know the power of your own masters...Herus has done so many things to us that you can't even imagine and Blue used to be his top soldier. If they were so easy to defeat and kill, why do they still walk the earth and still influence your actions." Elegit said, looking right into her eyes. "You hate them so much...yet they still have power over your mind. You're just a lost dog without an owner, waiting for the next hand of power to feed your hunger for blood and death. And you only have yourself to blame..."
"No...I have the world to blame. You, them, every single living thing that is born and taken away from this blasted planet." She said with malice laced in her words. "I fought since I was a pup, force to kill my own family to survive. I had to laugh while doing that; just laugh. Do you know how it feels to be force in laughing while hacking away your loved ones with an axe?" Her tone was strain with insanity and grief as her eyes became mere slits.
The ground beneath them started to shake as metal began tearing apart from the floor.
"I laughed at their bodies in order to survive and not die like them. Herus...Blue...they were there and Herus was one who forced me to do so!" She laughed, equipping another rod. "I will laugh...I WILL LAUGH WHILE I STAB THE HELL OUT OF THEM!"
Ra'zar paused as his talons were just inches from Fillia's eye. 'Damn it, why now, I'm busy.'
'That's an order.'
'Fine, Blue.' Ra'zar thought, sighing in disappointment.
He soon looked at Fillia with a sick grin and got off her.
"I will be going now, it seems my lord is going to be pissed that I did not kill you. Olga, you better hurry up, Blue is growing..." He paused and noticed her maddening gaze at Elegit.
The gryphon scoffed and looked back at the mare.
"You...you should be dead by my talons, but right now...you were saved by Blue. I will surely kill you if you survive." He stated before flashing away like lightning.
Elegit pulled off of the rod and ran towards Filia.
"No you don't!" Olga yelled throwing her rod into his right hind-leg.
Elegit painfully spun around on the rod and side bucked Olga into the wall before ripping the rod out and stabbing it into her shoulder.
"I know you were forced to kill your parents, but we all had to go through painful moments in our lives. This is why we fight, but you decided to ignore this and fight us instead. I want you to think about what you have done and what you could have done instead of killing and murdering in the name of your most hated enemies. Goodbye Olga...I'm done fighting you...I have more important things to do than fight a broken soul." Elegit said, slowly backing away from her and walking to Filia.
A rod flew over his shoulder impaling through Fillia's chest. The room became silent as blood leaked down the rod in the mare's chest. The aiming was perfect and hit her in the left part of her chest.
"I'm not done with you!" She growled. 'I hit her in the heart, heh, if Cantata was alive, he would be angry that I killed a fresh heart. His is made of steel.' She thought licking her lips.
Filia grunted in pain as she removed the rod from her chest, falling to the floor in pain. The mare slowly got up from the attack and covered her wound with her hoof.
"You just won't stop will you." Elegit whispered, charging magic to his horn."
All the rods in the room suddenly flew into Olga's body, impaling her to the wall with her own weapons in a violent mess.
"And this is why you will never change or be redeemed." Elegit said, healing Filia's wound and ignoring his own.
Olga started to laugh even more as blood seeped down her mouth.
"I will take you down!" She yelled, "Grand Pull!" She yelled, causing Elegit to fly towards the rods impaled in her body. He crashed into them, being very close to the diamond dog.
"You...will surely understand...no matter what you do...you still have to kill. The memories will never die. Your first kill will haunt you. Water you bathe in will be replace with blood. And you will either kill yourself to escape or...someone will kill you out of vengeance." Her words were laced with venom. "If you do not die from this...someone will kill you for me!" She laughed as the metal rods began vibrating. "I will close in this place and take you all with me! I will end this...I will kill you all!" Olga laughed as her heart made its final beats.
The ceiling began plummeting as metal from the walls started closing in. The only exit was in the back and it was a matter of time before it was sealed off. Filia dashed to Elegit and grabbed his body from behind.
"Get...off...the rods you dirty stallion!" Filia screamed, yanking him off of the rods.
"Run..." Elegit said, bleeding tremendously.
"Not without you."
Filia picked up Elegit and placed him onto his back before grabbing her rifle into her mouth and darting out of the exit just as it closed off.
