Allison and Veera…And Danielle

Paris, Earth…

The Louvre…

Donnie doing his best to keep a blocking position for view of Ally as the three…Donnie, Ms. Suominnen, and Alison stood in front of a huge portrait of Napoleon crowning Josephine. Ally nervously trying to keep concealed from potential prying eyes as Ms. Suominnen stood resolutely in front of the vast monument to imperial ego, as she'd just noted to Donnie with smile, he returning.

"Reminds me of my boss…" he noted.

"'What do it say to you'?" Alison eyed Ms. Suominnen with frown, rocking on her heels in the "shielded" space of Donnie's shadow… "That's what you want me to say…?"

"Do not blame…" the woman, hat pulled low, shrugged. "Danny is Woody Allen fan…"

" 'Play It Again, Sam', the museum scene…" Donnie nodded, sagely. "Good choice…"

"This is ridiculous…" Allison frowned. "Why can't we just meet? Preferably somewhere where three of us won't attract attention…"

"And where is that better than here?" Ms. Suominnen eyed her.

"She's…" Donnie halted at glare…

"I know she's got me there." Ally, grimly. "But why can't we just say hi? And what's with the lesbian follow-up."

"'What are you doing Saturday night?' How is this lesbian?" Ms. Suominnen eyed her. "And what is wrong with the lesbian?"

"Nothing is wrong if I were a lesbian and you know it sounds lesbian between two women…" Ally coldly. "And it's unnecessary…"

"But a part of film…And Danny likes film." Shrug. "We say it whenever we are meeting." Eyes Ally, smiles.

"It's a fun line…Woody asks the girl and she says…" Donnie began.

Hmmn… Je vois que je suis moi-même creuser profondément ici, he noted to Ms. Suominnen at Ally's look, she grinning under hat.

"Oui." Ally, coldly. Wait…

"You want me to play you…" Ally stared. "Meaning Danielle is under surveillance right now."

"Whos can say?" Ms. Suominnen shrugged.

"Ok…" She smiled at Ally's stare. "Yes, we have been under the surveillance for at least a month, probably more…I just detected it then."

"Which is why you're willing to meet us." Donnie, shrewdly. "Section 51 found you and now you want us to help you."

"Teddy bear husband is cleverer than his look…" appreciative nod.

"Teddy bear husband is having his fun…And is digging himself deeper with each step." Glare. Still…

"He's right, though, isn't he?" slight fond beam.

"Naturally." Nod of hat. "But as to who is surveilling…"

"Not 51?" Ally eyed her.

"Can't say…But whoever is very good. I am hard to deceive in these things but it took some time to detect."

"But wouldn't 51 know all about you? You're both from Earth, right?" Donnie noted. Oh…He nodded sagely.

"Will you stop playing Sherlock?" Ally hissed. She paused, finally fuming…

"All right, what?"

"They got off the grid…51's, anyway. How'd you manage that?" Donnie asked.

"Wasn't easy…And not permanent, as this shoulds prove. Well?"

"Fine…" Ally fumed. "When is she coming?"

"Well…" Donnie, a bit archly…

"I hate Sherlock Hendrix, Donnie. Really." She noted, with frown. "All right, she's here now. Fine. Donnie, you go look like you're absorbing culture and lets get this humiliation over with…"

"I'll be right here…" he eyed her.

"Yeah, yeah…As will Dr. Watson, namely me, bumbling around, Nigel Bruce style."

"Nigel Bruce never made me hot…" arch look.

"Cutitout…" mock frown, coy smile. Ms. Suominnen staring…

Whoa. And I lives in Parie…

"Keep a close eye out..And don't get killed." Ally hissed.

"Start speaking with a Finnish accent…" he hissed back…Heading off.

She sighed...

Is tough jobs to be clone sestra with wacked-out husband.

Adorable wacked-out husband…

"My friend is taking great risk to do this. Go…" Ms. Suominnen hissed, passing by her casually as possible, hat pulled low. "I must go too."

Ally shaking head…

Well, consider it an acting challenge. I played Beth, I can play a Finnish clone.

"I see that woman again…" Simone noted to Vic as they stood by a large painting well down the corridor from where Ally was reluctantly eyeing a retreating Donnie… "I don't see what the deal is unless…Victor? Are you really in business with her? Or two-timing me?" she frowned.

Two-whating? He eyed her.

Wait…She's jealous…Of me?

Me…?

Thank you Obsidian Order IT…

"Victor, so help me…If I find out you're just trying to meet that woman…" Simone, angrily.

"Baby…"

By all the Cardassian gods, thanks OOIT…He noted mentally.

Centauri Prime Aqua World bar…

"What are ya doin', Danny boy?" Paul, calmly to the grim-faced, jaw-clenched…Shit, no weapons allowed…Rosen, his falcon's gaze locked on the Borg in human disguise, Mark.

Who seemed quite content to sit, nursing his second drink with careful sips that he clearly rather enjoyed, nervous acknowledgement to his rather friendly, naked, lovely bartender…

"I'm…Going…To…Deal with that Borg sob."

"No, no! Abort…Daniel! Abort, abort!" Rachel cried via neural link. "Paul…?" she affected calm via the com link. "What's going on?"

"Then you're back on duty and I order you to take your seat." Paul, firmly. "Administrator? Would you care to confirm my order? Directly to the captain? I'm aware you have a neural interphasic connection."

"I'm simply doing my duty as a Federation citizen." Rosen insisted, coldly.

"I said, abort! Daniel!" Rachel hissed. "Uh…" she realizing she'd also spoken on the com link. "I confirm the Commodore's order!" she muted the com link. "Daniel, you can't fight a Borg without weaponry. Besides…I'd prefer to…"

"I'm on leave…" Rosen, firmly.

"Cancelled, temporarily…" Paul noted. "Now sit down or I'll see you courts martialed."

"Daniel, stand down. We need to secure this Borg, not kill him." Rachel insisted.

"Say…Please…" he projected via the neural link. Eyeing Dierden coldly.

"Sit, now, Captain. I won't say it again."

"Fine, please!" Rachel, glaring at the screen.

"Fine." Rosen replied to both, taking seat. "But I want it noted that my leave time is not running at this time. And just what are we going to do about this guy?"

"Certainly." Paul nodded. "And I commend your patriotic response to what may be Borg espionage. But we need to evaluate this situation carefully. He may be Borg but he might be a renegade, an escapee…"

"I want him…Paul?" Rachel frowned at the deactivation light on the com link. "Override that shutdown!" she ordered her computer.

"Daniel, tell Paul…" she began via neural link…

"She wants the Borg taken." Rosen eyed Paul.

"So I gathered. But I prefer to evaluate the situation, she's still a civilian with limited authority here, and I'm the officer in charge."

"So is this now an away mission? Sir?" cold stare.

"It's a mission response, Captain. Stand ready but stay here for now." Paul rose. Rosen eyeing him.

"What do you mean you can't override the command lock on the com link?" Rachel fumed. "I'm Administrator of Section 51…I have authority."

"Command lock approved by Admiral Leekie…Access denied."

"Daniel! Tell that idiot…!"

"I'm under his orders here, Administrator." Daniel noted, rather both a bit pleased to hear the frustration in Rachel's voice…And to watch Dierden headed for what looked likely to be his most timely and hopefully, agonizing, demise…

Plus…She said "please". I think she really was worried about me. Tiniest of pleased smiles.

He looked over to where Paul had now taken a seat next to the Borg Mark, pleasantly requesting a local beer.

Come on, make my day complete, you Borg sob…He eyed the Borg.

Former lounge of the former Darwin Research Institute of Centauri Prime…

Sarah and Helena seated, S standing by the object of their quarry…The rather infamous "Zeus", "Swan Man", Dr. Ethan Duncan…Currently engaged in fussing for teacups in the cabinet before him.

Sarah a bit and increasingly annoyed by Helena's mix of eagerness and deference…

Having to keep her from killing him outta raw hatred or ki\dnappin' him for the greater glory of Romulus I could deal with, but…This…

Daddy's girl act…

"So you're…"

"Papa…" Helena, rather joyful beam…

"Oh…" Duncan, turning quickly to face them, eyed his eager and somewhat less so, "daughters"…

"…I don't think I deserve that honorable title, dear."

"Father…" she corrected, happily.

"Helena…" Sarah frowned.

"That's more kindness than I warrant, Helena." Ethan sighed.

"Don't worry…She tends to kill parents…" Sarah, coldly.

Ah, no…Shite…She grimaced as Helena sank head into hands, weeping copiously…

"Meathead…You just tole me you killed me mum. I'm not gonna just shrug that off, ya know…Wait."

Glare at S, then fixed stare at Duncan. "That's not possible…Helena and me…Twins, S? She's part Romulan."

"Well, fraternals is possible…" Helena noted, looking up. "Though franksly I always felt deeper kinship to you sestra."

"Killed your mother? Poor Amelia?" Ethan stared.

Helena tearing again…

"Oh, for the love of bloody Christ!" Sarah fumed. "It's a bit late for the superemotions to kick in now, Helena…"

"I was…Angry…And hads my duty…" weeping sobs… "Oh! Mama!" sudden brutal smash at table which collapsed, the others jumping back.

"Sorry…"

"Hands up!" S trained phaser pistol.

"Jesus! S! Helena!"Sarah, furious now. "I'm the one who outta be pulling guns and breaking tables! Over both your heads! Calm down! Or I may show you how we handle…" her face working… Tears starting to run…

"Yes, yes…I know, sestra…" sigh. "I will be better now." Helena, hands raised. "I was upset, foster mama."

"Lets keep it Mrs. S for now, shall we?" S noted.

"Siobhan…Sarah…" Duncan sighed. "This is my fault, not Helena's."

"Ok, I'll kill you too…" Sarah eyed him coldly.

"You'd have that right…" he nodded. "But as to your twinship, no…Not fraternal. You are identical, at least in the sense of developing from the same fertilized egg."

"How's that possible?" Sarah blinked. "You mean to say I'm part Romulan…"

"No need to say like is insult, sestra. We are proud people." Helena, slightly miffed, reprovingly.

"Shut up. Doctor?" Sarah eyed Duncan. "What, did you just mix us all up together and see what comes out?"

"Oh, no…" he waved a hand. "Apart from the resequencing, protein reformat, and synthetic sequences implanted, each cell nuclei was independently removed and implanted in its own egg. However, the combining of human and Vulcan related genes in cloning cells is a bit more difficult that the normal way of in vitro fertilization, though the problems are…"

"Spare me the science lecture…" Sarah frowned. "Just explain how we could possibly be identical twins without my being soon to sprout points on me ears."

"Sarah…Father, he is explaining." Helena hissed…

"Well, all Alpha Quadrant humanoids share a common ancestry…" Ethan noted. "So that the genetic difference of each species is not a complete barrier to successful reproduction. In any case, you and Helena were an accident in the first introduction of alien genes to the original genome. We…Susan and I…Had actually expected you to be …"

"Helena…half-Romulan…" Sarah eyed him. "But something went wrong and you got a partial reject…Namely me."

She looked at Helena who was quiet. "So you get a consolation prize, Meathead…You were the little Romulan Dad wanted…Not so good as being the original but…"

"Not at all…" Duncan insisted, agitated. "Sarah, you were a miracle…A very fortunate accident, if you like…You see the original chimeric genome contained all the precursor genes that led to the species differentiation from our original ancestral species…But, on our first try…"

"Miracle, sestra…" Helena fixing on the key word, beaming look to Sarah. "That is what you are."

"Yeah, sure…"

"Well, to put it in a nutshell, you made your alien sisters' conception possible, Sarah." Duncan noted. "If we hadn't learned how to control the segregation from you when you and Helena split off from each other…"

"Fine…" Sarah waved a hand. "I'm a miracle…But more a wonder weapon, right? All of us?"

"The people who funded our work wanted a weapon, yes." Duncan sighed. "We wanted children…Children of the Quadrant. Proof that we are indeed fundamentally one people."

"Right…But you weaponized us to use against the Borg and Dominion." She eyed him.

"It was a fearful time, Sarah… Even despite the small victories over the Borg by Picard and Matthews, we knew any large-scale attack would overwhelm us. But our intent was to give you defense against the Borg and the Founders, not to make you soldiers. That was the intent of Section 51 and the others…The dark side of the Federation and the other Quadrant powers."

"Leekie and company…And his Quadrant allies."

"Aldous Leekie took you from us…" Ethan, angrily. "He and his Dyad Institute or rather the Section 51 within Dyad. They were only partners in the work, contracted to store and monitor the LEDA embryos once completed. But we soon realized Section 51 wanted to pursue the work only to make more weapons, make you less and less human…Or Romulan…They were as bad as the Borg. They even insisted on taking Rachel from Susan and me. So, we determined to stop them…"

"You destroyed this place, Father?" Helena eyed him.

"We planned to. But only after seeing you were all safely dispersed and when we had Rachel with us. But Leekie found out…" bitter stare. "Someone betrayed us and he found out just in time to prevent us from securing you all or taking Rachel. We managed to destroy the original genome and this place but he killed my Susan and took you…And our Rachel."

"Rachel Duncan, right…" Sarah nodded.

"She was our daughter, we raised her from a baby…" Duncan shook head. "But they took her and raised her to be their tool."
