School. Testing. Not. Fun. JACK COME SAVE ME WITH A FREAKY THREE FOOT SNOWSTORM IN MAY!
*Sigh* Happy Mother's day! I figured I should post something, as a tribute, so I made this! Free style poetry is fun!
Thanks for reading, and sorry for the long waits. Hopefully it'll get better in the summer.
Disclaimer: I don't own RotG, my own computer, or a yogurt maker (that's my mom's)
A Mommy (Tribute poem)
Tooth, this is Jack, I'm writing for you
To thank you for all the stuff that you do.
You sing and you laugh
You don't make fun of my staff.
You're amazing and kind
You boggle the mind.
You nurse and you talk
You make sure not to gawk.
You treat me so well
My heart starts to swell.
Tooth, this part's hard for me to say,
You know I'd rather go play.
But it needs to be said, because it is true,
Mommy, I really love you.
Now that might come as a shock,
I've never been one to "sappy talk."
But here it as now, and just like North would say,
"I feel it in my belly! This is a good day!"
Mother's day has never been my thing,
What do you expect? It's just bad timing.
But now I have you, someone to care,
A person to love and to fuss with my hair.
I have you to remind me to floss,
And teach me to make that great alfredo sauce.
To defend and to love
To goof and to shove
You've taught me so much,
You are a good crutch
For when I'm in trouble and just need someone,
I really feel like all this has just begun.
There's too much to say in just this one page,
Anymore and Sandy will rage.
(Cause I'm using his computer to type this all up
He's drinking a bunch of eggnog, but it's almost gone from the cup)
I know it sounds blunt
Or just really upfront
Like something Bunny would say,
But here it is, happy Mother's day.
Tooth, I love you, forever
And ever
And ever
And ever
(Seriously does anything rhyme with this word?
I don't think is does, I just asked a nerd)
The message is short, but it is true
Tooth, thank you, I really love you.
