***Teito***

"I wanted to ask. The same question from before...Can you tell me for sure?" I nervously question Angel. I could feel the burn on my cheeks from embarrassment.

"...Who I love?"

"Yes. I want to know who you love." I confirmed.

A fear gripped my heart, but inside all my fear I felt a small sliver of hope.

'Please god…be the answer I...want.'

"Why Teito? Why are you so determined to find out?" I looked away. "...I-" She turned her back to me, "I…" she repeated.

"I real-" She was cut off by a voice in the hallway.

"ANGEL!"

'That's Jack's voice.'

I prayed silently that Jack wouldn't open the door to our room. I heard the clack of his footsteps as he searched the hallway for me. I heard the click of a door opening. I groaned inwardly. I glanced at Angel and saw her panicked looking at me.

'I want to know…I have to know.'

***Angel***

Teito looked into my eyes and pulled me to a corner. We climbed behind the pile of desks and chairs that we keep in the corner. I squirmed in the tight space. I had my back to Teito and I was sitting between his legs to make up for the small amount of space. I could feel the heat of his chest against my back and his breathing was hot on my neck. I shivered and blushed a furious red. Teito's hand was still entwined with mine and I held it with my other hand as well. The door clicked open and I stiffened.

'Don't look for me Jack.'

I prayed silently.

"Angel? Argh, where is she? We only have a little time to eat before the next part." Jack scanned the room again, "She better not be with Teito again."

I blushed slightly and shifted. The click of the door told me he had left and I breathed out in relief. I turned back to Teito and smiled.

I froze as I realized he was centimeters away. I stared into his eyes that were a little away from mine.

Teito looked back at me and leaned forward a little bit. My nose brushed his lightly. I felt his hot breath on my lips and I licked my chapped lips. I glanced back up into Teito's eyes. He regarded me and then leaned forward, kissing me lightly on the lips, feeling for how I would respond. He pulled back and watched me for a bit. Then he leaned forward and kissed me again, this time with more fever. I wrapped my arms around his neck lightly.

"Angel" he whispered to me.

"I love you." I whispered back.

He nodded and kissed me again.

I didn't need him to say what I already knew.

He loved me too.
