"Change of plans"
Lady Candy was getting ready to leave college to go to Scotland for the summer. Terry was in her room looking at her pack. He still hadn't heard from Georgina and the plan tickets.
- You seem happy to be leaving…
- I'm happy I'm not going back to my father's castle in London
- Oh… are you at least going to say goodbye to him?
- He knows where to find me… You think I'm weird right? You don't have parents, and I have parents that I don't want to see…
- I'm not judging you Candy…I'm not in your shoes… I'm going to miss you…
- I'm going to miss you too… Are you coming back next year?
- I don't know since this was some sort of therapy for Antonia's death…
- Oh… Well I hope you come back…
- You're willing to continue our "platonic" relationship?
- I see a regular relationship, a boy and a girl… That's all we need to have a relationship… I hope you come back next year sapphire eyes…
- I hope so too… to think that I didn't want to come here at first… now I don't want to leave!
He hugged Candy and he kissed her.
- You're coming with me to the train station?
- Yes…
- We could say goodbye here, in private
- We could, but that's not going to stop me from taking you to the train station…
Terry looked at Candy. She was going to Scotland, he was going to America, they might not see each other again, and if it's decided that they won't be coming back in September… He kissed her passionately, she responded to the kiss. It was so good; they didn't want to stop… They made out for a while, enjoying, savouring every single lick…
Every single time Terry had kissed her, she was just swept to another wonderful world, he was the man for her, and she knew it. What ever happens, if Terry doesn't come back in September… She will make it her goal to find him when she finished school, and be with him.
Terry refused to caress Candy…He didn't want to get in the mood, but it was already too late… He had to force himself to let go of her…
- I think I'm going to stay here, said Terry, or I won't be able let you go
He was very sad. Candy had tears in her eyes. She wiped them.
- I'd rather you stay here too, she said, or I won't be able to leave…
- Candy…, he said hugging her again hard
- Terry…
- I'm going to go now…
- Yeah, you should go…
He started to kiss her again… It took him all the strength of the world to part himself from Candy…
- I'll call you, he said
- Ok, she said sadly
- Candy… I…
- Yes?
- I'm going to miss you… have a nice trip, take care of yourself
- I will. Take care too…
- Bye Lady Candy…
- Bye Sapphire Eyes…
He left by the balcony, before he was drawn to her again. She looked at him go, tears were coming down her cheeks, she was crying.
Candy left college, frustrated and heartbroken…

Terry was in his room very sad. He almost wanted to follow Candy at the train station. He didn't want to get too attached to her, but it was too late from the second he saw her on that boat, he was lost…He loved Candy! Why didn't he tell her? He was upset with himself. He went on his computer to see if there was any message from Georgina about their trip… there was none. He got upset and he literally went to take a cold shower…
Jones arrived and he found him with a towel drying his hair.
- Dude! What's up?
- Candy's gone…
- Gone?
- She went to Scotland for the summer…
- Oh. You'll see her again next year…
- What if we don't come back from America in September?
- You'll come back come on…
- We don't know that, last year, I had no idea I was going to come here for school…
- Well be optimistic, you'll see Candy again…
- I hope so… did you get your ticket?
- Well I kind of register for summer school with Patrick…
- You're not coming to America?
- Well my parents are going on a cruise around the world… and Patrick's parents are also travelling
- What is it with Rich folks? Sending their kids to boarding school, only to dump them for the summer too?
- Go figure! Said Jones laughing
- By the way have you thought about the kids at the Pony Home
- That's why I came to see you…

Tammy Steve was working at the Pony Home for the summer. The Pony Home was receiving a special funding from Andrew Enterprises that Terry had set up during his internship. They now had medical insurance and enough money to hire more help and lots of donations; food, clothing, toys. They were now able to have a food bank for the local families in need, who would come every week to get some food.
Tammy was helping out with the kids program, since they could have more now, with all the help they were getting. She got an email from Terry in the general mailbox…
Dear Mummy Pony and Mummy Maria, You see, I already got the British accent. How is everything? I hope the kids are good. Do you have new members? Jones and I are fine. We went to Euro Disney with our friend who had a Big Sister Program for little orphans and children in need. Jones and I wished there was a program like that at our Pony home; it would make the children so happy. So we put our heads together and we came up with money for the children for you to take them to Disneyworld in Florida. Georgina Johnson should come in a little while to give you the tickets and all the details… I'm looking forward to see the pictures you're going to take of the children… Tammy, if you're reading this, you're going to be the big Sister taking the children with other volunteers. We miss you we were hoping to see you soon, but looks like our parents are sending us to spend the summer in Scotland… Take care everyone Terry and Jones
- Oh my God! Said Tammy smiling, those two are too much! I love them! Disneyworld? Miss Pony! Sister Maria!

Terry had finally heard from Georgina, apparently, the Great aunt was coming to Scotland to spend time with her grand nephews and grand nieces. So no trip to America, they were going to Scotland! Terry almost jumped of joy! He was going to see Candy in Scotland! He was so excited! He was going to see her; he was going to be able to tell her he loved her!
Terry was in Allyson's and Ashley's room.
- This is just great! Said Ashley sulking! I wanted to go see mom and dad in Saudi Arabia! I miss them…
- I miss them too, said Ally sadly
- I can't say I miss a mother I've never seen…, said Terry bitter
- This is not what you pictured when you got adopted, right Terry? Said Allyson
- Not at all!
- Aunt Elroy is coming, said Ashley, it's better than nothing
- Yeah, she practically raised us… all her nieces dumping their children on her like that…, said Allyson; you're coming to the castle with us Terry?
- I have to, it's too late to register for summer school, and they rather give any spot left to those who have no place to stay anyway…, said Terry, Jones and Patrick are going to be in summer school, we have a castle…
- Come on, said Allyson, it's not going to be that bad
- Where is her ladyship going, by the way? Said Ashley
- To her father's castle in Scotland, said Terry
- That's why you're not more upset! Said Ashley
- I'm beyond happy! I was so sad when she left…She invited me to her castle…in case we went to Scotland
- To stay there? Are you going to accept?
- To visit yes… the great aunt wouldn't want me to go live with Candy that way…, said Terry, or does she even care?
- Antonia loved you, said Allyson; aunt Elroy loves you too, in her own way…
- I wouldn't go that far, said Terry smiling
- She does… or she wouldn't have gone to all the trouble to make it possible for you to be with Tonia, said Allyson
- I think she did that mostly for Antonia, not for me, said Terry
- But you're going to stay with us right? Said Ashley
- Yes, I will , It's not like I have the choice…
- Yeah, said Allyson, what would people say? I'm sure Aunt Elroy thought about all that…
- I'm not looking forward to live in the same house as those dreadful Reagans, said Terry with the British accent
They all burst out laughing.
- Well at least we could live with the school, said Allyson Jones and Patrick are also going to Scotland with the school
- A bunch of kids with a bunch of unfit parents who dumps them on a bunch of nuns for the summer! Said Ashley bitter
She really was looking forward to see her parents…
- Come on Ash, said Terry it's going to be fun… turn the negative into a positive… no parents, thus more fun!
- In Scotland? Said Ashley
- In Scotland! Said Terry smiling, when life gives you lemon…
- You make lemonade? Said Ashley dryly, you're happy because you're going to see her ladyship…
- Maybe, but I thought I was going back to America, unsure if we were going to come back or not… I'm going to see Candy again! I can't wait! Said Terry smiling
Ashley didn't say a thing. She missed her parents…but apparently they didn't miss her to want her with them… Terry looked at her and he hugged her.
- I've never had parents… only mommy Pony and mommy Maria…and they always told us from the get got that we were going to leave one day…either by getting adopted, or on our own when we turn 18 and get a job to support ourselves… Family is what you make it to be… You've got your sister and you got me… even the awful Reagans… we're your family Ashley!
- Thanks Terry, said Ashley hugging him with her eyes closed, thank you so much, I needed that!
- You're welcome anytime Ashley!
They got ready for the trip that was supposed to be in the morning. Allyson was on her computer doing stuff…
- What are you doing Ally? Asked Terry
- Just sending something to a friend…
- That doesn't sound too good…
- Indeed, said Allyson smiling

Louise was on in her room packing for the trip to Scotland when she heard that she had an email on her computer… It was from Allyson…She opened the email and she was shocked and relieved at the same time… She just got out of the room and she used a key she had made and entered her soon to be ex-best friend's room, who was having sex with Regis her boyfriend! They were both naked on the single bed having a lot of fun, judging by their mews and panting…
- Well, said Louise out loud, I almost wished I had caught you with Lady Candy, Reg…; at least it would've been with someone high ranked in the British Upper Class, not some American white trash!
- LOUISE! They both said
Louise closed the door behind her and she ran and jumped on Eliza and started fighting with her pulling her curly red hair screaming. Eliza was still on top of Regis, so he was stuck under the two screaming and fighting girl… Every body was screaming so loud, the other students came out of their rooms to see what was going on…

Terry was still in his cousins' room when they all heard the noise.
- What was that? He said
- I don't know , said Allyson with a little voice
Ashley looked at her sister. She walked to the door and opened it… the noise was coming from Eliza's room. She went and opened it… the scene was hilarious, Louise, Eliza and Regis…
- Oh my God! Said Ashley laughing
- Louise! Said Terry, stop it! That's enough; you're going to alert the nuns!
- I don't care yelled Louise crying, I want to kill them! HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO ME?! HE'S FUCKING MY BEST FRIEND! MY BEST FRIEND!
Terry pulled Louise away and she cried in his arms. He walked away from the unfaithful couple without saying a word after looking at Eliza with cold eyes…
Eliza, who still had a thing for Terry, was hurt by his eyes and his silence; it hurt her more than if he had said one word to her, more than Louise catching her with her boyfriend… Why Terry did had that power on her?
Terry got out with Louise closing the door behind them. Eliza stood up and went to lock her door. She went back to sit on the bed. She had scratch all over her face and her hair looked like hell. Regis was also sitting on the bed naked. They looked at each other.
- Why were you really coming to me Reg? Said Eliza.
- Because I liked your sex better…
- So we don't have to hide anymore…?
- I guess not… did she hurt you?
- Yes, she did…
- I'll make you feel better, he said kissing her on the lips
She responded to the kiss. They were free to be together…But Eliza couldn't help thinking about Terry's cold eyes on her…

Louise was in her room crying and cutting off Eliza's face on pictures…
Ashley and Terry went back to the room finding Allyson still on her computer.
- Ally?
- What?
- How could you stay there like nothing happened? Said Ashley
- She was the mastermind, said Terry smiling, she sent the message to Louise…
- Well she asked me to investigate her best friend…
- You sold out your mean cousin to her mean friend? Said Ashley
- Like you said, "mean cousin" but I'm not proud of myself, she's family…
- Whatever! Said Ashley laughing going to the bathroom
Allyson felt bad. Terry looked at her. She looked at him and he winked at her. She smiled.
- I just hated seeing Louise so stupid…
- I understand… but please tell me, selling out Eliza wasn't that hard…
- It wasn't, she said laughing
- That's my girl! Ok, let me go finish packing and tell the other about all the action…

Terry went to the boys dorm and told the others about the action in his room while he was finishing packing
- I got the message from Ally, said Patrick
- What message? Said Terry
- Look for yourself
Patrick gave him the phone and you could see Eliza and Regis doing the deed…
- Oh my God! Said Terry, remind me not to be on your bad side!
- Is that how you do it, said Jones laughing, oh my God, this is better than porn!
- So much better! Said Patrick
Terry looked at his friends…
- Oh my God! You guys never did it?!
- Well, said Jones, you know how I was before I found you again: I was a wuss! Said Jones
- And I've always been in my books…
- We know the Great Terry White Andrew has gone all the way…, said Jones smiling
- You're going to make me blush! Said Terry
- How is Lady Candy? Said Patrick, is she as great as she looks?
Terry looked at them. Candy liked keeping her bad girl reputation intact…So…
- I'm certainly not going to tell you anything! Said Terry
- Come on Terry!
- Sorry guys, mum's the word! Said Terry
The boys continued talking asking Terry for pointers on love making and other guys stuff…

The trip to Scotland by train was a blast. All the students, the nuns screaming at the students, the whole atmosphere was pleasant. All the couples were together in their compartment. Terry was with his group talking and laughing.
Eliza opened the door to their compartment, avoiding Terry's eyes looking straight at Allyson.
- I know you did this, Ally, you sold me out! I know we don't really get along, but I'm still family!
- What you were doing was wrong Eliza…
- Did you try talking to me about it? No… you just played God, showing Louise in the worst possible way what Regis and I were doing! I admit, I'm not a good girl, I've never pretended to be… but what you did to me was low Ally…
Eliza closed the door and left. The whole group was a little stunned. Allyson was sad. Patrick held her in his arms…
- Don't feel bad Ally, said Ashley
- She's right…
- Ally, you did a good thin, said Patrick, they won't be making fun of Louise behind her back anymore, word is, and she's going out with Regis officially…
- I just ruined the friendship between her and Louise
- Eliza did that by sleeping with her best friend's boyfriend, said Terry, not you…
Allyson was feeling a little better with the gang consoling her. The trip continued, without any other incidents.

Candy was bored in her bedroom in Scotland. She found her father, stepmonster and their children at the castle when she arrived. She thought she would have the castle for herself. Well Terry was gone back to America anyway. So her summer holiday was a bust.
She was waiting for Terry's phone call to make arrangements with him so she could go to America to spend the summer with him. There was a knock on her door.
- Candy?
- Yes father?
- Are you ready, the guests are arriving…?
- I am…
- You're going to behave yourself, I hope
- What are you talking about father? I always behave myself!
- Prince Andrea is going to be here…
- I'm sure he has a girlfriend with him…
- He's alone; his current girlfriend was indisposed…
- Why are you telling me this father…?
- I might want a royal wedding someday,

- For lack of a better term, don't burn all your bridges…
- I'm dating a boy in school father
- Don't be ridiculous, you never date boys from your school…
- Well I am now…
- Well for this afternoon, you're going to be nice to prince Andrea
- He's angry at me for dating his step bro…
- His step brother is not here today, you make Prince Andrea happy… Prince Charles dated Lady Sarah before her little sister Lady Diana and he eventually married her…
- And made her life a living hell by bringing his mistress to the mix! Not a good example father…But I'm sure Lord Spencer was proud to take his daughter down the aisle to marry the Prince of Wales…

- Not sure… I might want to follow some boy to America…

- All right, but you guy better be gone tomorrow morning…!
- Deal! Said the duke smiling
The duke went outside to greet his guest with his wife by his side. When Candy went to the garden, she found all the guests there… She looked at her father who nodded with his head. She walked to Prince Andrea who was surrounded by girls. He saw Candy and smiled to her…

Terry and his cousins arrived to the castle in Scotland. Everybody chose their room. They were served a late lunch. The Great Aunt was happy to see them. Even if she complains about being too old to take care of her grand nephews and grand nieces, she was used to having them around and she felt very lonely when they all went to England after her beloved Antonia's death.
- I'm very happy to see you all! She said
- Even Oliver Twist? Said Neil
- Even Terry, said Aunt Elroy, Neil stop calling your cousin names!
- Oliver Twist is a very lucky orphan, said Allyson
- Who finds his very rich family, said Ashley; you might actually be wishing Terry luck…
- He's already richer than you! Said Eliza
Neil was sulking. They had lunch and Aunt Elroy was congratulating everybody except Neil of course, who had summer school, as usual. After lunch the other went for a nap and Terry decided to go look for Candy's castle. He hadn't called her yet, so she didn't know they weren't going to America but coming to Scotland. The little town was near Edinburgh and Terry had fun listening to the weird accent. He was looking around, spotting stores, pubs, the library, hotels, clinics, medical cabinets. After asking around, they pointed him in the right direction, he finally found the Richard Grandchesters' Castle…

Candy was keeping Prince Andrea company, against her will, but she was smiling and she was hoping that time would go by fast enough for that day to be over… She couldn't stop thinking about Terry and was barely listening to the princely conversation…
