Disclaimer: I do not own the Vampire Diaries.

When I go past the kitchen, I see a sickly Rose sitting on the counter.

"Your buddy will be here later. Don't look so down. At least you won't die alone," I say with a nasty smirk.

"Buddy?" Rose asks.

"Trevor. Figured you might want him here," I say and she attacks me with a hug.

I growl loudly and shove her off of me.

"Do not mistake my kindness to Trevor for me liking you," I say and walk around her.

"Thank you anyways," she says and I flick her off over my shoulder as I walk out of the house.

"Meg?" Jules asks cheerfully when I call her.

"That's what they call me," I say and she chuckles.

"I'm glad you called. Could you meet me at the grill?" she asks.

"Not right now, but I will be able to later," I say as I pull into the school parking lot.

"Okay, great," she says.

"I'll call you when I'm on my way," I say and hang up.

I look around for Tyler and I quickly find him with Caroline.

"Hey," I say and he smiles tiredly.

"Hey," he says.

"How'd it go?" I ask.

"I'm okay. I'm sore. Every muscle aches," Tyler says and I pat him lightly on the shoulder.

"Join the club," I say and they both laugh.

"How'd the Jules thing go?" he asks.

"Well, I have reliable sources that tell me she runs around freely. Able to kill anyone she comes across, even if they're innocent," I say and Tyler shakes his head.

"Why would she do that?" he asks.

"She's a monster. She doesn't belong here. There's already enough going on. She'll either play by the rules, or I'll end her," I say.

"And I'll stand by you. No matter what," Tyler says.

"Does that make me your alpha? Is that how this works?" I ask and he shrugs.

"I don't know," he says.

"Maybe you can ask Jules before you kick her ass," Caroline says.

"I like the way you think," I say with a chuckle.

"Yeah, anyway, uh… Next month we should probably reinforce the wall, because you almost got me that one time and it just would have been, um…" Caroline trails off.

"What?" Tyler asks.

"Never mind, it's…" Caroline says and I cut her off.

"The legend says that a bite from a werewolf can kill a vampire," I say.

"How do you know that?" Tyler asks.

"Mason, duh. I've gotta meet Jules. I'll catch up with you guys later," I say and they wave goodbye.

I walk off and Matt stops me.

"Meg, you got a second?" Matt asks and I nod reluctantly.

"Do you know if anything's going on with Tyler and Caroline?" he asks.

"Crazy idea. Go ask her," I say and pat him on the shoulder.

I arrive at the grill as Jules is walking away from the Sheriff and going to sit at a table.

I see Ric and Stefan and I smile stealthily at them. I walk over to Jules and sit across from her.

"Hey," I say with my best smile and she gives me one in return.

"Are you hungry?" she asks.

"Ehh, I'm pretty much always hungry," I say and she chuckles.

I get a text and I read it under the table.

"Why the hell are you sitting with the wolf that bit Rose?" Stefan texts.

"Because she bit Rose. Meaning she was out and about town as a wolf. Free to munch on humans. She's not playing by the rules," I text back.

"And I'm not sure about her," Jules says, having just finished ordering.

"I'll just have a burger," I respond and look down at my phone to see the next message.

"I'm sorry if I'm being rude," I say, "My friends are throwing quite the hissy fit about Rose."

"Gotta show her who's top dog haha. Ric is getting me Isobel's number. Elena made some sort of deal with Elijah. I need to get info about Klaus," Stefan texts.

"Elijah... Dead Elijah?" I text back.

"Yes," Stefan quickly texts back.

I look up at Jules and she smirks.

"Too bad. You don't seem too upset," she says.

"Some vampire bitch is dying and I should care because? I am curious as to what happens to vampires that are bit by us though. I'd sit and watch her if it didn't mean I'd have to babysit her," I say with an eye roll.

"That's kind of morbid, Meg," Damon says as he plants himself beside me and casually steals a fry.

"Well, if it isn't the one I meant to kill… I'll have to get that right next time," she says.

'Great comeback...' I think.

"You won't live to see another full moon unless… unless you tell me how to cure a wolf bite and then I won't kill you," Damon says and Jules gives me a look.

"Promise?" Jules asks.

"Yes," Damon says.

"Bite me," Jules says and gets up, but Damon catches her arm.

"I'm not afraid of you," Jules says.

"Then you are very, very stupid," Damon says and I have to agree.

"How's your friend? Rose, is that her name? Have the chills started? The unbearable pain?" Jules asks and I smirk.

"If there's a cure, tell me or start watching your back," Damon says.

"Did I mention the dementia? It'll eat away at her brain. Soon she'll be rabid. You want a cure? I'll tell you the only cure that exists: take a stake and drive it through her heart," Jules says and looks at me, "We'll be in touch."

She quickly leaves the grill after I give her a nod.

"Besties now?" Damon asks.

"She thinks so. And that's how I'd like it," I say with a smirk.

My phone starts ringing and I look to see Trevor's number and I answer it.

"Where's Rose?" he asks.

"What do you mean? Are you at the boarding house?" I ask.

"Yes, she's not here!" he says and I look at Damon.

"Shit!" Damon says and I gesture for him to move.

"I'll find her," I say and hang up.

Damon soon gets a call from Liz about a dead body at the school and we quickly drive over there.

"Hey," Damon says.

"Thanks for coming so quickly," Liz says.

"No, we were close by, Liz. What happened?" Damon asks.

"A vampire. Luckily one of my deputies discovered the body before anyone else saw him," Liz says.

"Very lucky," I say.

"We have to secure the area then," Damon says.

Liz turns to her deputies, "Don't cause a panic, but let's take this party into the cafeteria."

"I take the east side of the school, you two go west?" she says and Damon nods.

"Sure, okay," Damon says.

We walk over to Elena as she's leaving Stefan a message on his voicemail.

"Hey. Have you heard from him? Do you know what he's up to?" Elena asks.

"Stelena is not a priority right now. Is Trevor here?" I ask.

"He stayed at the house in case she comes back," Elena says and I nod.

"Take this," Damon says and gives her a stake.

"Come on, let's go," Damon says and we follow after him.

"What is Stelena?" Elena asks and I smirk.

We hear a girl scream and we rush in her direction, Damon speeding far ahead of us.

A girl and boy are dead when we arrive and Damon is holding Rose down.

"Did I do this? I never meant to hurt anyone. I never wanted to hurt anyone," Rose says.

"I know," Damon says and Rose looks at Elena and me.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Rose says and I nod sarcastically.

"'Course you are," I say and Damon throws me a look.

"Come on, let's get you home," Damon says.

"No, I don't have a home. I haven't had a home in so long," she says and starts crying.

"Oh, make it stop! Please make it stop! I hate it, make it stop!" she screams and I roll my eyes as Damon carries her in his arms.

When we get to the boarding house, Trevor immediately pulls Rose into a hug.

"I'm so sorry, Rose. I should've came sooner. I just thought I'd give you a chance at a real life here," Trevor says, sounding on the verge of tears.

For the first time since Rose has been bit, I actually feel sadness.

"Come on," I say quietly and lead Trevor and Rose to one of the bedrooms.

I follow them in and Trevor lays Rose on the bed.

"I know you hate me, but thank you," Rose says.

I sigh and sit at the edge of the bed. I hear Damon and Elena shuffle into the room.

"I don't hate you. Even though you've given me plenty of reasons to," I say.

"I'm sorry," she says looking past me to Damon and Elena.

"You went on a murderous rampage. It happens," Damon says.

"I'm sorry. I don't like taking human life, I never have," Rose says.

"It's the worst part about it: the hunt, the need to kill, the thirst, the pleasure it brings you afterwards. I wasn't meant to be evil. It hurts," Rose says and Trevor strokes her hair.

"Stop talking about it," Damon says, moving to sit on Rose's other side.

"Damon's a lot like me. He wants to care but when he does he runs away from it. I'm sorry for what I've done today," Rose says.

"I know," Elena says.

"And you need to fight. I know that you're scared, but you have to do it anyway," Rose says then starts coughing.

Elena comes closer and holds her hand.

"Why are you so nice to me?" Rose asks.

"Us humans," Elena says.

"You can never forget it, what it's like to be human. It haunts me. It's the only thing that's kept me going. It doesn't hurt as much anymore," Rose says.

Suddenly she starts screaming and Damon ushers Elena out.

"Meg, out," Damon says and I shake my head.

"No, I'm staying," I say.

"Rose, it's okay," Trevor says and pulls her up into his arms.

"Oh, god! Make it stop, make it stop! I can't take it anymore, make it stop!" Rose screams and Trevor looks up at me, nodding.

"Shhhh... shhh... Sleep," Trevor says soothingly.

"I'll be right back," I say and jump off of the bed.

I walk over the my purse and grab the stake I had earlier. I quickly walk back into the bedroom and see Trevor crying, Damon also doing so quietly. I rush over to the bed and place the stake over her heart.

"We're about to race. She's counting," Damon says.

"One..."

"Two..."

"Three..."

I close my eyes and plunge the stake through her heart.

Trevor gives a loud sob and I wipe away the tear that escaped my eye. I quickly stand up and spin around, my back facing them.

"Jules is dead," I promise.

"I thought you didn't like Rose," Damon says.

"I didn't, but I do like Trevor. Enough innocent people have died today. At least I can kill a guilty one," I say.

Damon is suddenly in front of me and he gives me a look.

"No. Not today," Damon says.

"Just get her out of here. I can't look at her anymore," Trevor says shakily.

"Take her to Liz. She wanted a damn vampire. There she is," I say sarcastically before brushing past Damon.

Elena is in the kitchen with my phone up to her ear.

"It's Tyler," she says and hands me my phone.

"Hey, Ty," I say.

"Jules wants to talk to me. I think you need to come with me. I googled," Tyler says, sounding slightly embarassed.

"Googled what?" I ask.

"Wolf pack ranks," Tyler says and I make a face.

"Where are you? I'm picking you up and we're going to wherever she's asked to meet you. You can explain on the way," I say and grab my bag, walking out of the door.

"So, I'm the Alpha and you're the Beta? But that could change if Mason comes back?" I ask.

"Well, yes. If Mason was in our pack, that is," he says.

"And Mason wouldn't necessarily be in our pack?" I ask.

"No," Tyler says.

"What made you google?" I ask.

"Curiosity," he says.

"You seem like the curious type," I say with a grin.

"I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, so I'm not gonna answer," he says and I chuckle.

We enter the grill and head over to sit with Jules. She looks surprised to see me.

"Meg?" she asks and I give an unimpressed look.

"I don't appreciate you making private meetings with my pack members," I say and she raises her hands in surrender.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't aware," she says.

"And now you are," I say.

"Thank you for coming. Both of you," Jules says.

"So what do you want from me?" Tyler asks.

"Just to be your friend. Mason would have wanted that," Jules says and I suck in air through my teeth.

"See, here's the thing. Mason, he never mentioned you. I'm not to sure he'd want you getting buddy buddy with his nephew," I say.

"Well, Mason's dead," Jules says.

"Oh? That's news to me," I say with a smirk.

"He was murdered," Jules says.

"Mmm, no," Tyler says.

"You want to know who murdered him?" Jules asks.

"Just stop," Tyler says and chuckles.

"Your little blond vampire did," Jules says.

"No, Caroline would never do that," Tyler says.

"Sweetie, I'm going to need you to stop. You're upsetting Tyler here. Now that makes me a little angry," I say and shush her when she tries to talk.

"I'd listen to her. She gets a little crazy when she gets angry," Tyler says and I nod.

"It's true. And when I get crazy, people start going missing. People like you. Who don't have any remorse for humans," I say and she gives it away by her face.

"Who told you about those people last night?" she asks angrily.

"You did. Just now. We're done here," I say and stand up.

"Come on, Tyler," I say and he glares at her.

"I'm not your enemy. I'm your friend. There are others like us and they're on their way," Jules says and I look back at her.

"Let's hope not. For your sakes," I say and walk out of the grill with Tyler trailing behind me.

We reach the car and Jules makes her way to us.

"You need me. You two won't make it on your own," Jules says and I look at Tyler who has the passenger side door open.

"Well, unfortunately we aren't accepting recruits," I say with a smirk.

Tyler quickly wraps her in the rope we brought while I gag her.

"Look at that, Ty. Boy scouts was good for something," I say and open the trunk while he chuckles.

"I told you," he says and throws her into the trunk.

I grab the crowbar laying beside her and smack her in the head with it. She's bleeding and unconscious as I close the trunk.

"Damn, Meg," he says with a cringe as I open the back door and throw the crowbar in.

"What?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Honey, we're home," I call out cheerfully as I enter the boarding house, Tyler carrying Jules behind me.

I dramatically close the door behind Tyler.

A sober Elena, a drunk Trevor, and a getting-there Damon, come into the front hall wearing confused faces.

"What the hell is going on?" Damon asks.

"I come bearing a gift; Jules," I say, doing a dance around Tyler, who is stiff as a board from fear.

"I thought I told you no," Damon says.

"Ah-ah," I say and hold up a finger, "And I didn't. See? Alive. Knocked out. But alive."

"This is the bitch that killed Rose?" Trevor asks and I smirk.

"It is. And apparently her whole pack is coming. Isn't that fun?" I ask and Damon groans.

"Give her to me," Trevor says.

"This is good fun," I say, "Tyler over there is the entrance to the basement. There's probably a chair down there somewhere. Tie her to it. Trevor."

I hold out a bag and he takes it.

"Bag of goodies. Don't kill her though. Where's the fun in that?" I ask and he follows Tyler to the basement.

"Are you okay?" Elena asks.

"I'm great. You can go home now. I can handle this," I say and Elena reluctantly leaves.

Tyler comes back upstairs and I point to the door.

"Hurry and catch Elena so she can take you home," I say and he nods, quickly leaving.

Screaming starts in the basement and I smirk.

"You feel guilty," Damon says in that stupid all-knowing voice of his.

"For?" I ask, confused.

"Being so mean to Rose," he says and I chuckle.

"Not in the slightest," I say, "You, however..."

"I don't feel guilty," Damon says.

"Don't you though? Just think. All of this is entirely your fault," I say and his eyes turn to pure rage.

"What?!" he asks.

"Jules was coming after you. But only because you 'killed' Mason. If you wouldn't have gone after him in the first place, this wouldn't have happened," I say and he scoffs.

"Mason. Who doesn't even talk to you? That Mason?" he whispers angrily.

"At least he doesn't screw other girls pretending to like me. At least he breaks it off with me first," I shoot back at him.

"What do you want to hear? That I cared about Rose? That I'm upset? Well I didn't and I'm not," Damon says.

"Of course not. Damon doesn't care about anyone but himself. Because he can't. He doesn't feel," I say and he speeds right in my face.

"I feel, Meg! Okay? And it sucks! What sucks even more is that it was supposed to be me. And the only reason Rose was here was because I lead her on," Damon says.

"Well, I guess you should be careful who you bang then, huh?" I say and he gives me a look over.

"Guess I should," Damon says.

A loud smack rings through the air as I slap him as hard as I can.

"You're a dick. You say you're sorry then you just be a asshole all over again. Why?" I ask, backing away and shaking my head.

"This is who I am, Meg," he says and I scoff.

"Who you are? I'm not expecting you to be good. I'm not Elena. I'd just like you to follow through on simple tasks. Like not cheating on your damn girlfriend the second you get the chance!" I say throwing the nearest object at him.

He stares at me and I shake my head at him, my chest heaving.

"You don't get it. Maybe you never will. But I don't care. This is over," I say, walking out of the house.

A/N I'm digging Trevor. I don't know why haha. But I wonder what'll happen when Elijah finds out about him. That'll not be so good...

Also, sorry the previous update took so long. I didn't even realize.

I'm sorry about that haha. I've been super busy and I didn't even notice it had been so long.

MissVictoriaRose-
Yaaaay! :)

pinklips90-
I really didn't realize I hadn't updated in so long. I've been so busy haha. But yes. Rose is no more.

biancaj21-
Meg really doesn't have that many friends. She has maybe two friends. Trevor and... I really don't know. Tyler I guess.
Other people are her friends by default, because of Elena. But she's on the outs with Damon. She and Katherine are probably pretty much enemies.
She's popular, but for being a bitch. I really don't think everyone loves her, in fact I might would say the opposite haha

DGfleetfox-
I try to reply to every message in one way or the other.
But for Banner I think they figured none of the Hulk movies were that successful so it didn't really matter. I actually had a previous love for Mark, so I was like "Yes!" haha. I did enjoy Edward as Banner, but I can't see him anyone else but Mark now. I thoroughly enjoyed Age of Ultron.
As for a favorite Avenger, it pretty much changes all of the time. I'll really be digging Tony for a while, then I'll be digging Bruce, then the Cap. But if I had to choose... Uhhh... Loki. XD (He totally counts...)
