Drabble word: Conflict
If it was one thing Komatsu hated above all else it was dealing with a fight between coworkers. As head chef of the Gourmet Hotel, part of his job was taking care of such things as they happened. It didnt make it any easier for the kind hearted chef.
Toriko almost found out about that particular hatred of Komatsu's when he dropped by to visit his partner unexpectedly. It had been pretty obvious something was wrong with Komatsu when the chef burnt three plates of Charbon d'épice while staring mindlessly at the grill.
Toriko smelt the burning food and fearing something had happened to Komatsu especially after the recent abductions had him running up the stairs and into his partner's condo in a rush only to stare in shock at the burning mess Komatsu's kitchen had become.
It took some time before Toriko convinced Komatsu to tell him why he was acting in such a strange way. Komatsu saying that he was fine and that nothing was wrong. After almost an hour of trying to figure what was going on, Komatsu simply told Toriko ' Its not something for you to worry about Toriko-san. I am your partner but I'm also the head Chef of Gourmet Hotel. Those two worlds dont always interact as I would wish.' The small man smiled sadly and invited Toriko to go eat at a restaurant. It was impossible for him to cook at the moment anyways.
So another small one. I have a favor to ask all of you readers. I have a lot of trouble writing discussion or just two people talking to each other and so I would like to practice it in the next few drabbles.
