A/N. Yet another chapter is online. Hoora. Just a word of warning, I'm not feeling like writing much because I had to do a creative writing thing at school for ANZAC Day (It's an Australian and New Zealander memorial date for the Gallipoli landing) and I am only just hanging on the creative part of my thinking. Well, time for the story. To the story.
Chapter 7: Cynidal of Fokat
Sabine walked behind Hera and in front of Zeb. She was frightened that they wouldn't make it in time but something was telling her that they will and that Kanan and Ezra would be fine. Still a little frightened, she kept on going. Lynn was in toe with her father and Chopper was between Hera and the father-daughter duo. Soon, Sabine could see a large building. It was at least the length of an Imperial Star Destroyer but was only a few floors high. The building was a bluish grey and a shade of white that couldn't be named that worked well with the bluish grey. However, at the right end of the building, there was extrudenary damage dealt to it. Pieces of the building just floated there like they didn't want to leave what they once were a part of but they also wanted to leave and follow the other fragments all around the sector of space. The group of six reached a round topped door leading to the entrance of the building.
"Get ready to rush into the building" Psycho called as he stepped up to the door.
Hera led Sabine, Zeb, Chopper and Lynn to stand just to the side of the door as the man pushed it open. As soon as the door was open, the group rushed in and Psycho slammed the door shut. Turning around, he saw everyone looking at him. With a smirk, Psycho took off his helmet.
"His name is right, he is a psycho" Sabine commented as she saw the man without his helmet on.
"My scan detected that there is air still inside the building but unfortunately, it is only breathable for Klotians. Lynn, I don't want to risk you dying so I want you to keep your helmet on" Psycho explained before giving his daughter the order.
"Where do we go Psycho" Her asked, wanting to get this over quickly.
For her answer, Paycho walked to a hallway. Getting the message, the group followed him. Soon Sabine was finding this place eerily familiar to her. She ran to Psycho's side to ask him the question in her mind.
"Psycho, what is the name of this place" she asked, hiding the fear she had to this man well.
"This is the Cynidal of Fokat, the Klotian goddess of health and wellbeing" Psycho answered.
"What happened here before all the destruction I've seen to the right side of the building" Sabine asked, a little curious about the old use of the building.
"This placed was used as a double for a church to honour the goddess and her two helpers and a research facility for medical and psychology treatments" Psycho replied stopping for a moment and stared into a medical room with the skeletons of his fellow kin. "The day Klote was destroyed, this place was at its busiest moment. Many men and women were killed from the unexpected weapons used on the planet. The children who were sick all died in their bed in rooms much like this one. Those skeletons belonged to many of the deceased children. However, I'm yet to find the skeletal system or the corpse of the nurse who looked after these kids before the destruction of Klote."
Sabine looked in horror at the room next to her. All these skeletons belonged to children. Defenceless children. Soon she noticed that Psycho had left her side and was walking up the hallway. Quickly running up to catch the man, Sabine was about to ask Psycho another question when she saw a blinking light in her helmet's display screen in the corner.
"Psycho, there is a blinking light in my helmet" Sabine informed, slightly concerned about it.
"What colour is it" Psycho asked.
"Blue" Sabine answered.
"Pace of the blinking" Psycho asked.
"Like this" Sabine answered as she began to tap the wall at the pace of the blinking.
"Poso'twai" Psycho breathed in surprise. "Sabine, I need you and somebody else to check out that light. Me and the others will get what we need and meet you at the entrance."
"I'll go with her" Lynn called as she joined Sabine.
"Okay Lynn. Be careful and may the Force and the Klotian gods watch over you" Psycho smiled at his daughter.
Sabine and Lynn rushed off towards the lights direction while the others continued down their path. Sabine led Lynn into a large corridor that looked abandoned. They carefully made their way down it until they reached a closed door. There was a window next to it and the girls saw a faint golden light seep out into the corridor. Then they heard a noise. It sounded like a worried voice and the sound of a blaster getting set to fire. They listened at the voice and heard what it was saying.
"Gaksue'dha Klotian ilmdahs'dhne" the voice repeated this a few times.
"Did they just say forgive me Klotian life god" Sabine asked, fear in her whispered voice.
"Yes. I hope they aren't going to do what I think they are going to do" Lynn replied, running to the door.
"I hope not too" Sabine agreed before they both heard another phrase.
"Hunahd'dha Klotian rejmdajc'dhne" the voice cried.
"Welcome me Klotian death god" Sabine whispered before realising what the person was meaning. "We got to stop them."
"Agreed" Lynn nodded before trying to open the door to find it jammed stuck. "Itz'wa. The door is locked. Sabine break that glass."
Sabine nodded before sending her fist into the glass, hoping for it to break. The glass didn't but that didn't stop the girls. Sabine kept trying to break the glass while Lynn tried the door. Neither one was having it easy but then they heard the voice speaking to itself.
"Ukshksh'ennssh unbhjajd'poela unjhaud'dha" the voice laughed, sounding like whoever this person was, was believing they were crazy.
"Now they think they are hearing things" Sabine grumbled.
"Oh now I'm sick of trying to get to this person. And I'm sick of this door. Whhda'ybhd" Lynn called before taking her Z-6 Rotary Minigun off her back and began to fire at the door.
Once done, the Klotian half breed smirked under her helmet. The door slightly opened and a golden eye of a Klotian peered from behind. The Klotian had their eye rise in surprised joy at the two girls.
"Hjeujd'dhne" the Klotian laughed, revealing the Klotian to be female.
"Hkejdns'imbrhs hnwijab'ijdha" Lynn asked.
"Vixalsuw" the Klotian replied.
"Imbr'pikea wimals" Lynn questioned.
The woman nodded, not afraid to show that she was confused. "Uhhda?"
"Good. My friend doesn't understand Klotian speech" Lynn spoke nudging Sabine ever so slightly.
"Okay. Hello, I'm Vixen. Who are you two" the woman asked, now curious as to why someone in Klotian body armour didn't understand Klotian speech.
"I am Lynn Yabis. This is my friend Sabine Wren" Lynn answered, bowing slightly.
"Hello. Can I ask you why are you here" Sabine asked.
"Hello. I'm here because I was in an accident. I was in a comatose state. I woke up twenty years ago with a distressed nurse walking around. She saw me awake and was relieved but I didn't understand why. Then she showed me everything. I was scared. I didn't understand how the once beautiful Klote was now barren fragments. She told me everything that happened. A year ago, she killed herself. She left me a note telling me why she did it. I have been led to believe I was the last Klotian, but now I see you two" the woman replied, getting excited about not being the only Klotian.
Sabine and Lynn both felt a sharp ping in their chest. Lynn was only half while Sabine was Mandalorian. Lynn decided it was for the best to tell her about the problem.
"Vixen. You are correct with that you aren't you only Klotian. But Sabine isn't one and me, I'm only half. But if it makes you feel any better, we do have two other Klotians with us. If you like, you can come with us" Lynn grimly informed.
"What do you mean? What do you mean that she isn't a Klotian and you are only half" Vixen asked.
"There are only three full blooded Klotians alive that are known. That is including you. Then there are the three half breeds, which are me and my sisters. Sabine here is helping us with a mission and she detected you on her scanners. Me and her found you" Lynn answered.
"Only three" Vixen questioned.
"That are known Vixen" Sabine answered.
"Who are the other survivors" Vixen asked.
"Madda Yabis and Fjx Yabis" Lynn replied, having Vixen stared wide eyed at Lynn.
"Madda and Fjx are alive" Vixen asked gleefully.
"Yes they are" Lynn smiled. "Do you know them?"
"Yes, I know them. Madda is my cousin" Vixen laughed.
"Well won't that be a happy reunion. Psycho meets Vixen after the Force knows how long" Sabine smiled.
"Is there any other survivors here other then you? I know you said that there was a nurse but is there any others" Lynn asked.
"I do not know. I haven't explored the Cynidal of Fokat that much" Vixen replied.
"Sabine, do you think we should explore to see if we can find any more survivors of the destruction of Klote" Lynn asked.
"Worth a try" Sabine shrugged.
"Let's move. We can meet with the others at the entrance" Lynn laughed.
The then began to search the facility for any other survivors.
~The Other Group~
Psycho led the others to a small lab like room. He kicked the door down and walked in, followed by the others.
"Okay, everybody, search for a purple-silver shrub. That is the plant we need. If we can't find it, search for a bottle or other form of container that says onbf'hnr" Psycho ordered as he began his part of the search.
They didn't find the plant but Hera did find a large medical box with a keypad on it. She called for the group to come over to her and check what it is.
"Any idea what this could be" the Twi'lek asked.
"A Klotian high level security box. This should have what we need" Psycho smiled.
"Hey genius, have you not noticed that this thing requires a number code" Zeb grumbled, pointing to the keypad.
"Typical Lasat. Have you even looked at the walls. There is a list of box numbers and their respective codes on one of the walls" Psycho chuckled.
Zeb couldn't think of a comeback or argument towards the Klotian. "Karabast."
"What is the box code" Hera asked.
"Check under the keypad" Psycho replied before walking over to a white poster on the wall behind him. "What is it?"
"The code is seven, three, nine" Hera answered after finding the code.
"Enter these numbers into the keypad. One, nine, six, four" Psycho ordered.
Entering the code into the keypad, the lock clicked and the box opened up to reveal four large canisters filled with a liquid that was a purple-silver colour.
"Seems like someone beat you in making the cure" Hera smirked.
"It seems so. Now all I need to do is alter it to become a gas" Psycho agreed.
"Does anyone have the feeling that we are being watched" Zeb grumbled, looking around.
"Now that you mention it, yes" Hera replied, having a shiver go down her spine at the thought.
"I had the feeling when Hera found the box" Psycho replied.
Chopper replied with a single bleep.
"Well, we can't just sit here. We need to save the ship" Hera smiled before turning to see something drop from the ceiling.
"Get outta here" the thing to drop growled in a young femine voice.
"We plan to" Hera nervously replied.
"But leave the box" the person ordered.
"Itz'wa. Why should we listen to you brat" Psycho growled.
"You sound familiar to me. Tell me how did you get to Klote" the person asked, turning their head to look at Psycho.
"By the gods. Paowe is that you" Psycho asked as he pieced together the puzzle in his head.
"How do you know my name" the person hissed as she looked at Psycho directly. "Madda?"
"Yes" Psycho grinned.
"I never thought I would see another Klotian after so long. How did you survive" the girl asked.
"I just barely got off world when the planet suffered the attack" Psycho replied. "I have a simulation on my ship of what happened."
"Are you asking me to join you" the girl asked.
"Yes" Psycho grinned. "But you may need to stay at the entrance for a bit as I get the Blackhawk close enough."
"Understood Madda" the girl smiled.
Soon the group left their little area. They walked to the entrance, where they found Sabine, Lynn and an unknown Klotian. Psycho didn't even bother asking who the extra person was when he left the building.
"Hera, what is he doing" Sabine asked.
"Getting the ship. Who is your extra" Hera answered before gesturing to the unknown Klotian.
"I'm Vixen Yabis" the extra answered.
"Vixen Yabis, good to see you survived and out of your coma" Paowe grinned.
"Shut up Paowe, but it is good to see you without some drunken idiot hanging off you" Vixen laughed as she stood, revealing that Paowe was about half the height of her.
"Watch your head. There is barely any room for you to stand" Paowe laughed.
"Says the dwarf of the family" Vixen replied.
"Shut up cousin" Paowe growled.
"You two are cousins" Sabine asked.
"Adopted cousins. Paowe was adopted into the family. She kept her original name but we treated her like a Yabis" Vixen laughed as she ruffled Paowe's extremely long hair.
By now they all could hear the Blackhawk coming closer. They waited until it landed and then they head something unexpected, the air hatch attaching to the door.
"Only Madda would do that" Paowe sighed as the door was opened and the air hatch opened.
Now standing at the air hatch/door was Psycho himself. He had a stupid grin on his face as he gestured for everyone to come aboard. Everyone boarded then Psycho close both sets of doors before walking down the air hatch. He walked into the cockpit and took off. He entered some co-ordinates into the hyperspace before leaving to work on turning the cure into a gas. Soon everything would be back to normal.
A/N. This is long but it was hard to get it out due to low creative thinking potential. Well, bye for now.
