I love teasing you all, I don't know why! I guess teases keep you coming back?

Calling all JeriKole lovers, this chapter is for YOU GUYS! Or at least...the first part xD

Plus! Since school started back for me, updates may possibly be slower-possibly! I'm not giving up! And there's only a handful of chapters left (I'm not sure how many), so let's get to it!

P.S. No children were scarred in the making of the last chapter ;D

P.S.S. I know this story is coming to a close within the next few chapters, but fear not! I already got a few ideas for more stories and oneshots so YEESSSSHHH.

P.S.S.S. TERRA-IZED WAS THE BEST EPISODE EVER. I'M STILL FREAKING.

Kole just stepped out of the shower, clad in Jericho's tee shirt and boxer shorts (since he had something and she just wanted to get out of the blasted dress, she was completely okay with it); she decided to let her hair air dry since she didn't have a proper brush.

"Jer?" she called, still a little shaky and uncomfortable with being alone, even for a short amount of time such like this.

A bedroom door to the right opened, and the blonde stepped out, holding his hand up as a gesture to let her know he had been in there. Kole sighed in relief and smiled.

"How are you feeling?" Jericho signed.

Kole nodded and smiled wider. "Better, thanks. And for, ya know..." She gestured towards his clothes, which looked quite big in there, considering how small she was. It was adorable, her cheeks flushing as pink as her hair.

Jericho nodded.

Kole stepped closer to him. "And you?"

He shrugged. "I'll be okay."

She peeked around his arm. "What were you just doing?"

"Transmission call. Robin and Batman want to know what I've done to my father's body."

"You make it sound so sinister."

He smiled wryly. "He'll be in solitary confinement. He won't be around for a long time."

"I hope so."

Jericho took her hand and gave it a squeeze. He was about to release her hand but she only gripped it back more firmly and inched even closer to his side, their arms brushing.

He was completely okay with that. As a matter of fact, he began to think as he led the way out into the den area, I'm surprised she hasn't run away screaming yet. I mean...all that she's been through is because of me. Slade Wilson is my father. Why doesn't she feel revolted by me? Why can't she see that there might be a slim possibility that I'll end up like him?

That thought still haunts him.

"What's on your mind, Jer?" she asked.

He smiled a little-she knew him so well. He sat up straighter from his apparent slump and turned on his side, she doing the same; she rested her cheek against her palm, elbow propped on the top of the couch, and her free hand was still holding his. She released his hand for him to speak.

"Kole..." He wetted his lips nervously. "You do realize that-"

"Slade is your father? Yeah, I know," Kole said, her voice wavering on his father's name. "He gave me the whole father-son speech before he...did things." She was quiet, clutching herself as if she wanted to disappear.

"What did he do?" Jericho demanded worriedly.

"Nothing." Kole shook her head, and he glared at her-it didn't frighten her, but she knew he just cared. "Just..." she chewed on her bottom lip as she searched for the words that never came. "Let's just say I was out most of the time...because he put me to sleep..."

Jericho almost looked like he was about to cry on the outside; the inside, however, had second thoughts about whether or not he should've finished Slade off when he had the chance.

Because of his weak state of mind at the moment, he pulled her close to him and embraced her; she molded into him, burying her face in the crook of his neck. She didn't sob. Just sat there in his lap, listening to the uneven beat of his heart.

"He'll never be around again," he signed. "I'll make sure of it."

This, however, cued the tears and made her clench his shirt tightly.

Jericho cried too.

Raven, who woke up early, tiptoed out of Beast Boy's room after finding her clothes and kissing him softly. She peeped her head out before sliding out completely, gently shutting the door closed.

"Ah, Miss Raven."

Raven jumped at the sound of Alfred's voice.

"Alfred," Raven said, surprised. Few people managed to sneak up on her.

The elderly man just smiled pleasantly, a glint in his eyes telling him everything he needed to know. "I was hoping I would run into one of you this morning. Here are your clothes for the day." He handed her the bundle in his hands, which she took. "And I also included something for the children to wear."

"Thank you," said Raven, truly meaning it.

"Master Dick would like for me to inform one of you that he is out for the time being, but shall return shortly. He apologizes for leaving with Master Bruce at such short notice."

"It's alright. I'm sure whatever they're doing is important," Raven said.

Alfred nodded, grateful that Raven wasn't one to prod for information.

"Feel free to come find me if you need any more assistance," he said.

"Will do," she replied, and phased to her room to change.

And she had to admit, Alfred had good taste, although they were a bit formal for something you would wear around the house. But then again, this was Wayne Manor. After taking a long, hot shower, and a bit of meditation (surprisingly it was still early when she was completely done, and yes she meditated while wearing a towel), she put on her undergarments, then the outfit Alfred had picked out for her. This was a sleeveless silky royal blue button down shirt, which she buttoned up all the way to the collar; and a dark, high waisted skirt. She brushed her hair until it was smooth again and left to go check on her kids.

They were still asleep, up until she sat down on the bed lightly. Melvin was the first to stir, then Timmy, and then Teether.

"Good morning," Raven said. Timmy automatically sat up and crawled into her arms.

"'Morning, Raven!" Teether said, sitting up and wiping the sleep out of his eyes. "Where's Big Dude?"

Raven's cheeks reddened in the very slightest. Oh, Beast Boy? Don't mind him. He's just exhausted from the most amazing night I've ever had in my entire-"He's asleep. It's still pretty early."

Teether whined, slumping back down on his back. "Then why did you wake us up?" he whined.

Raven smiled in amusement. "Because you asked me to."

"I'm glad she's here," said Timmy, snuggling closer to Raven.

Teether sat back up and made a face at his little brother. "Kiss up."

Melvin rolled her eyes, her gaze falling on Raven's.

"Little brothers," she and Raven said at the same time, and the group burst into laughter.

Raven had found the kitchen. Since Timmy and Teether dozed back off and Melvin wanted to stay with them, it was just her. The kitchen was like a small cottage, or more accurately, a master bedroom. Everything looked so...so clean.

No wonder Dick was so organized.

And speaking of, the latter entered the room, carrying bags in hand and dressed as if he just went out for some breakfast. And he had, wearing a black beanie with a matching wife beater, finely pressed dark jeans, and shoes, watch on his wrist and straw in his mouth from the coffee he was drinking.

"Oh hey," he said, his blue eyes falling on her purple ones. "Hungry? I got coffee and donuts. I know it's cliché, but..." he shrugged, placing the cup holder and boxes on the counter. Raven approached from the other side, all the while feeling his strangely pleasant emotions. "I got you tea," he tapped one of the cups, which she took and thanked him. "Anybody else up?"

"Just Melvin and the boys," she replied after a sip. "Alfred."

Dick nodded. "Okay. Well, I guess they can sleep. It's been a long..." he sighed.

"Night?" Raven guessed.

"I was gonna say battle, but that works too." He noticed the way she was now holding herself; more upright, chin tilted upwards, the faintest pink to her pale cheeks...After studying her like combo moves, a light bulb went off in his head. "Raven?"

"Hmm?"

She saw that he was hiding a smile now. And with difficulty. "Is there something you want to tell me?"

Raven turned away from him, and he silently circled around the counter to stand behind her. She felt him behind her and knew that he wasn't going to force her to say anything.

Because he knew that he didn't have to.

And he could look inside her mind.

Before he could start prodding around in her thoughts, she finally blurted out, "I might've came to Beast Boy last night. You know, the storm kind of kept me up and feeling the kind of alone that wasn't very pleasant for me."

"And?" he pressed.

Their gaze held for a few seconds while she didn't say anything, and while Raven was focusing so hard on not admitting more embarrassing information, he had already caught a glimpse in her mind.

"You didn't," he said, smile growing.

"Shut up," she muttered, grabbing another cup of coffee and a few donuts folded in napkins.

His hand on her shoulder, combined with the now serious look on his face, made her pause. Cue big brother/little sister mode.

"Don't even ask," Raven told him. They didn't even have to talk or read minds.

"Good," he said back, softly smiling, and she returned it. "Guess I better go."

"Me too."

"See you later."

"See you."

"Kori?"

The alieness was roused awake to the feeling of someone gently shaking her. Her eyes fluttered open, vision blurry until she rubbed the sleep out of them. When she saw that it was Dick, his face hovering a reasonable distance between them, a sleepy smile spread across her face. "Greetings."

Dick smiled back as she sat up, and greeted back with a kiss. The sight before him, of her, with nothing but his sheets to cover her body, was breathtaking.

"I got you coffee and donuts," he said, holding them up, and her eyes brightened when she was offered two packets of mustard. Her squeal was adorable.

"I thank you," she said.

"I welcome you," he said back, and she giggled. He scooted back to join her, being sure to give her one of his tee shirts to wear just in case anyone came in without knocking. They ate their breakfast in silence with the occasional giggle and chuckle, small talk, or lingering stares.

"Dick?"

"Hmm?"

"What happens now?"

He turned a little on his side. "What do you mean?"

"You have the plan, yes? Do you have a date of departing from the Manor of Wayne?"

"Sometime today, probably," said Dick with a nod.

"Alfred informed me that you and the Batman were on 'the outs'." She sunk lower, wrapping her arms around his torso, he doing the same around her back, her head falling against his chest. "I was partially awake when Alfred had done the 'checking in'."

Dick smiled. "Don't worry. Just a few pointless pit-stops." His knuckles caressed her arm. "Nothing to worry about. Did you sleep well?"

"Indeed. You have as well?"

He buried his face in her hair, smelling her fruity smelling scalp. "You have no idea."

"You know you should really warn someone if you're indecent."

Gar fought the big, smug grin as he turned, buttoning his jeans. "Technically I'm shirtless and you, sweetie, forgot to knock first."

"I got doughnuts and coffee."

"Ooh, food!"

Raven rolled her eyes as the changeling bounded over, taking the doughnuts and cup from her. After taking a sip, he said, "First," and cupped her face in his hands to kiss her. Half-expecting it, her response was a tad late, and he pulled away too soon leaving her lips puckered. "'Morning," he said, arms slouched around her shoulders and forehead pressed against hers.

Raven smiled some, her hands cupping his face and hair. "Hey."

"I heard you and Dick downstairs..."

"...No you didn't."

"Yep."

"Ah, fuck me..." she muttered under her breath in embarrassment.

"Well if you insist-"

"Don't even go there," she held up a finger and stepped around him. Laughing, he gulped down the two doughnuts and began slurping his coffee.

He shrugged. "Worth a shot."

"Teether asked where you were when he woke up this morning," Raven explained, sitting down on his bed and watched as he put on a purple button down shirt, which had short sleeves. Her eyes watched his fingers continuously cover up the skin there.

"Stop me whenever," he commented without even casting a look in her direction.

Her eyelids turned to slits, "I don't like you."

"Funny way of showing it." He winked.

Dick was at the piano while Kori was freshening up; he wasn't a pro, but he was pretty decent, and his mother had played piano. His fingers picked up on a tune he knew, and he went with it.

He didn't even pause as Raven sat on the bench next to him, and it didn't surprise him that she joined him, playing the higher notes on occasion.

What did throw him off was when Raven started singing.

"Right from the start, you were a thief, you stole my heart...and I, your willing victim..."

He looked up at her, surprised that her voice was beautiful. She continued to play, black covered nails dancing across the keys.

"I let you see the parts of me that weren't all that pretty...and with every touch, you fixed them..."

All he could do for the moment was stare.

"Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh, things you never say to me, oh, oh
"Tell me that you've had enough, of our love, our love..."

This time he found his hands moving again in synch with hers.

"Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough," her voice rose some, hitting the notes to perfection. "Just a second we're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again-it's in the stars, it's been written in the scars on our hearts, we're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again..."

There was a pause, and then, before she continued, he had beat her to it.

"I'm sorry I don't understand where all of this is coming from..."

His voice was alluring, and Raven wondered why he didn't sing often. He was good.

"I thought that we were fine..."

"Oh, we had everything," Raven added in on time and their eyes met, smiles twitching at the lips.

"Your head is running wild again, my dear we still have everythin'-and it's all in your mind..."

"Yeah, but this is happenin'..."

"You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh, used to lie so close to me, oh, oh," and as she joined his voice in harmony, they didn't notice the other Titans slowly piling into the room, unnoticed.

"There's nothing more than empty sheets between our love, our love
"Oh, our love, our love..."

"Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again..."

This time, they noticed Victor, Gar, and Kori surrounding the piano to listen while smiling. The other birds smiled too as they continued, but they looked at the alieness and changeling as they continued.

"Our tear ducts can rust!"

"I'll fix it for us!"

"We're collecting dust, but our love's enough!"

"You're holding it in!"

"You're pouring a drink!"

"No nothing is as bad as it seems!"

"We'll come clean...!"

"Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again..."

Gar began patting the piano to make a beat, and eventually the others did the same; Wally was smacking the wall with enthusiasm.

"It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again..."

Gar and Kori joined in as well.

"Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again..."

"Oh, we can learn to love again,"Raven began closing the song up just as she spotted Melvin, Teether, and Timmy smiling at her; she returned it. "Oh, we can learn to love again...

"Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love
again..."

Dick and Raven finished the last notes, and as the final cords echoed around the room in beautiful waves, Wally was the first to start clapping and whistling as if he was at a concert. Gar, Kori, Victor, Jinx, Karen, Roy, Jade, the kids, and even Jason burst into applause, which was aimed at the other two Titans.

"So!" said Wally. "When do tickets go on sale?"

Both Jinx and Karen elbowed him hard in the ribs.

"OW!"

"So you get a team, a hot girl, be the first born, and now you sing too?!" Jason whined. "What's next, you're gonna do magic shows?!"

"Ahem," Raven cleared her throat awkwardly.

Jason smiled sheepishly at her. "Right..."

"And aren't you and Blackfire a thing now?" Dick demanded as he stood.

Jason blushed then turned his head towards the doorway. "What was that, Bruce? Yeah? Okay, I'm coming! So sorry to leave at such a short notice but um yeah. So. Okay."

He left before Dick could blink twice.

And thus my daydreams become reality! I've been imagining Robin and Raven singing "Just Give Me A Reason" because not only do I love that song, but their voices would most definitely sound like that. It's perfect. Plus originally I was gonna do a thing where they sing this to Starfire and Beast Boy after relationship complications, but it fell in here, and I just love Robin and Raven's friendship :3 They're adorbs.

Be honest. Who else looked up the song and listened to it while reading?
