2 hooded individuals approached the burned out ruins of the league they pulled their hoods down revealing the faces of the 2 women "it's dead the league is dead" said Nyssa "who did this" replied Sarah Lance "I have no idea" Nyssa walked through the debris it was impossible to figure out who the dead individuals were but there was one body Nyssa could sort of tell who it was even though the body was burned to a crisp the build and height gave it away "Bane" she whispered Sarah found something in the debris "no it can't be" she picked up the item it was half of Deathstroke's mask "Nyssa look" she showed her the Mask "Slade Wilson…he was here when it was set on fire" said Nyssa "whoever did this has freed us" said Sarah "what do we do now" "well we're no longer League of Shadows and we're the last 2 of our team I think we need should go back to starling city and help Oliver protect his city" replied Sarah the 2 of them walked away from the league.

The 8 of them were prepared for the journey ahead "how are we going to do this" said Azaria "I am not sure according to the maps on my phone by car it would take 15 hours" replied Stacey "I am not sitting in a car for 15 hours" said Selina "I don't think we have a choice Selina" replied Bruce "wait a minute I have got an idea" said Desmond he looked at the apple and slowly formulated a plan, pulling out his phone he dialled a number and went into his bedroom after about 10 mins he came back out "Azaria do you still have that uniform" "no I don't I disposed of it" "shit it might not work" replied Desmond "I have still got mine" said Alfred "oh pennyworth you goddamn genius…..this is what we are going to do we are going to check out of the Hotel and from there we are going to back to the airport the phone call I just made I pretended to be a staff member and inquired if the plane was fuelled and ready which it is we are going to go to the security gates of the airport there will be a guard there and they will most likely be looking for us since Azaria knocked those 2 guards out Alfred here will go back into that security uniform and try to get us past the guard if that doesn't work we knock the guard out using our fists or the apple and if someone else tries to stop us I will just use the apple to knock them unconscious" "that is absolutely crazy…..but it just might work" said Bruce "we're going to have a few problem if we reach Syria because right now there is a revolution going on in that country and we might just get hit by an airstrike" said Azaria "oh shit this is a really bad idea" said William "but it is the only plan we got" said Stacey "we're risking our lives to do this" said Alfred "I know but it is a chance we have to take" replied Bruce they left the room to put Desmond insane plan into action when they were down in the lobby Azaria went to the reception desk to get back some of the money back from the hotel since they were checking out early they got into the taxi and headed for the airport
The Airport
12:00pm
They got out of the taxi's and stood outside the security gate "I hope to god this works" said Stacey, Alfred approached the guard who was controlling the gates and tried to convince him to let them through the guard then noticed the name on the uniform "oh shit I think we have been clocked" said Azaria she began to run towards the security booth opening the door when the guard saw the door open Azaria fly kicked him across the jaw and punched his lights out "sorry about that" said Azaria looking towards the now unconscious guard she clicked the button for the gates to be open the rest of them grabbed the suitcases and ran for it "THE GUARD RAISED THE ALARM WE NEED THE APPLE DESMOND" they ran through the gate and were met by a few guards Desmond quickly activated the apple making sure it was covered using the pouch he then proceeded in knocking the guards out which was the least of their problems because 15 more guards ran towards them Desmond activated it again knocking the guards out Bruce opened the plane door all of them rushed into the plane and quickly took their seats Bruce started the engine and backed the plane away from the hangar and onto the runway he began to accelerate slowly on the runway "oh shit…..Bruce take off now the police are after us" said Stacey he went faster and took the plane into the air flying as far away as he could he then set a course for Syria the rest of them put their suitcases away Desmond sat in the passenger seat "nice one Bruce" "can't believe that worked" he replied "Man now I know why you lot say I am insane at times" Bruce then chuckled Desmond closed the door to the cockpit "we need to talk" said Desmond "what about" "we may have survived one war Bruce but now another one has arrived the Templars have been taking us out bit by bit but now it is time to get this game of chess into our favour, we need to recruit big time, we need people with extraordinary fighting abilities who are willing to join the brotherhood and finally put an end to these bastards this is a war that raged for centuries and it is about time it ended but I am also going to need a 2nd in command" "what…..me" "yes look if something happens to me while we are at war with the Templars I want you to take over my division….guide us to victory…..I know it is a lot to ask but I can't do this without your help" "I need to discuss this with Selina" "Sure thing…..this war will carry on raging until it comes to such a point that we will be head to head with the Templars us on one side them on the other, I will have commissioner Gordon investigate abstergo I guarantee they have people locked up in their companies and using them as test subjects for their DNA so they can find more pieces of Eden" "well you also have Erudito, Shaun and Rebecca they can hack their servers while they are at it and help find their dirty secrets" "Also we need to get you on the Assassin Hephaestus Network basically it is our official emailing system before it was quite weak on the security on it so that is how Lucy was updating Vidic on our progress with the apple but my dad told me that Shaun and Erudito tore the system completely and rebuilt it so now it has got better security and they upgraded the system while they were at it" "okay but first of all let's get you your freedom" replied Bruce.

Bruce pressed the button "everyone look outside" what they saw was an abandoned castle that housed the greatest assassin in history "Master Altair we are coming to you" said Azaria "I am going to have to land the plane far away because there is no smooth ground right now" it took them a while till they eventually found smooth ground to land the plane on but now the castle was quite a distance away "how the hell are we supposed to get there now" said Selina, Azaria spotted their ride to masyaf castle "all of you stay here" opening the plane door she walked towards a farmer who had horses and carriages after about 15 mins of talking to the farmer she had negotiated a deal with him to borrow his horses and carts for their journey and in return she paid him a lump sum of money for it he connected 2 carts to 2 horses each and walked them to the plane "This is how we are getting to masyaf" said Azaria "I have never used a horse" said Bruce "all of you get your suitcases and load them into one cart and then from there I will navigate the horses that have our suitcases while Bruce will take you lot in his cart" "why are we taking the suitcases" asked William "you really want to leave your suitcases in a country like this" replied Azaria "Yeah you're right let's take them" said Stacey after they had everything sorted they set off on their way.
Masyaf castle

They stood outside the fortress Azaria poured water down the horse's throats to get them hydrated "we're finally here and what a journey it has been" said Desmond who held the apple in his hand Bruce and Selina stood next to him "From Italy to Tibet to turkey and now our final stop Masyaf" said Selina all of them walked through the arch and explored the castle Desmond looked around the fortress when a figure dressed in white assassin robes ran past him "ALTAIR" Desmond tried to keep up with him which was a real struggle due to his ribs "ALTAIR SLOW DOWN MAN" but the assassin kept running the rest of them took off after Desmond "ALTAIR WAIT UP" the ghostly Assassin stopped at a certain place and disappeared "what the hell…..where did he go" "where's Altair" said Bruce "I just saw him he stopped running at this point and then disappeared" "This is where Maria died…he was leading you here" said Selina she crouched down remembering what happened to Maria, Selina unsheathed her blade and cut some flowers that were growing and placed them on the spot where Maria lost her life she clasped her hands together and said a prayer for Maria and Altair "rest in peace Maria" said Selina "let's lock this up" said Desmond following him to the entrance of the vault he inserted the masyaf keys in the correct place there was a rumble the door lifted open "end of the line" said Desmond the 8 of them walked through the long cavern until they reached the corpse that was sitting in the chair Bruce, Selina, Desmond and Azaria all went down to one knee and bowed their heads to Altair "Master Altair may you rest in peace my friend" said Bruce "hello Altair you look so different than when we first met but I know that you are looking down on us and are smiling" said Selina "no one will ever surpass what you did for the brotherhood" said Desmond "Master I wish I had the opportunity to have met you and hear your wisdom and learn from you as well….you are truly the greatest Assassin and it is an honour to be in your presence" said Azaria, Desmond pulled out the last masyaf key all of them put their hands on it and watched as the last moments of their Master's life played out before their very eyes when it was done Selina looked at Altair "we will make you proud Altair" said Selina, Desmond slowly walked past and approached the door pressing the stone panel on his right the door opened a yellow light engulfed the room that came from Altair's apple Desmond took Ezio's apple and placed it next to Altair's "DESMOND" shouted Stacey all of them were then stopped from running towards him by a force field the assassin turned around and tried running towards them when he was stopped midway and frozen in place "thank you Desmond I have what I need to destroy this world" "Juno…what do you want" "well I can't destroy humanity if you're in my way so what better opportunity than now to kill you I am shocked that you are still alive after the orb situation it has been quite a task to track you down but you have done something for me you didn't give me one apple you gave me two so I will take both of them, kill you and walk away" "why didn't you take the apple that day" "when I left you that day I thought my powers would easily be able to kill humanity but I got stuck in various networks so I decided to go back to the temple but you were gone and the apple was gone so I have been trying to track you down for a long time and finally found you" "hahahahahahaha you've been stuck in the networks for 4 months and then to top it off you came for the apple and it wasn't there" replied Desmond Juno grabbed his throat and squeezed "you're laughing now but it won't be so funny when I crush your windpipe" she let go lifting him up she flung him across the room "you're not going to win because you're not going to leave this room with the apples of Eden" said Azaria "how are you going to stop me I have a force field holding all of you back" Desmond stood up slowly his ribs leaving him in excruciating pain "enslaving humanity is not the answer and I will stop you" unsheathed his hidden blades he staggered towards her she walked towards the apples and picked them up, channelling all the power into herself Desmond tried to stop her but it was futile she turned the apples on him and started controlling him she grabbed Azaria and brought her through the force field the rest of them tried to pull Azaria back but Juno froze them in place "now time for you to kill another person you love" she placed Azaria in front of Desmond "no I will not let this happen again" he replied "I have the power of 2 apples there is no way for you to resist" his arms started to move towards Azaria his attempts to resist were futile because his blades were getting closer to Azaria's stomach "now for the final blow" she activated the 2 apples but Desmond stopped himself from killing the woman he loved "forgive me Azaria" forcing his arms towards himself using every bit of willpower that he proceeded in turning both blades towards his stomach "Mom, Dad I love you…..Bruce, Selina, Alfred, Damian it was an honour to have met you 4" he looked towards Azaria "I love you" "please I am begging of you don't do this" she cried he forced both his blades into his own stomach gritting his teeth in pain he fell to his knee's, coughing up blood and fell to the floor "DESMOND" shouted Stacey "well seems I don't need to waste my time killing him he has done that already" Desmond struggled to breathe Azaria's eyes turned to rage "YOU FUCKING BITCH" she tried to fight the paralysis off using every ounce of her strength she started to move little by little until finally it broke she ran towards Juno who grabbed her by the hair and threw her towards the empty bookshelf "Stupid girl do you really think that I can be beaten I am Juno the new leader of this world" "we will rise for our freedom" said Desmond "what did you say" said Juno " in the words of Achilles we will rise for our freedom" "oh really…..well you're more stupider than I thought because this is the day where I will destroy you pathetic humans" "pathetic….if we are so pathetic then why is it that we humans are about to kill you" "what" "HEY BITCH" shouted Azaria bringing her blade towards Juno from an air assassination and into the mouth of the humanoid being who let out an ear piercing scream and dropped the apples as a massive light engulfed her killing her once and for all she disintegrated before their very eyes the force field disappeared the rest of them ran towards Desmond, Azaria landed on her feet and kneeled down the assassin opened his eyes and smiled at her "hey…..nice move by the way" Azaria wept and smiled at him placing her hand on his cheek and interlaced her right hand with his left "why did you do that you crazy idiot" "I couldn't do that again lose someone that I loved I would rather kill myself than kill you but it's okay we stopped Juno" "but at what cost I need you….we all need you there is no way in hell I am letting you die" "I think it is too late for me Azaria I have been to hell and back if this is the end for me at least I went down swinging" "no you will live I am not letting you leave me" all of them lifted him into a sitting position "now come on time to go home" she kissed him Bruce and William helped Desmond onto his feet Azaria picked up the 2 apples and placed them back on the pedestal pressing the concrete panel the door closed and the apples locked away all of them left the vault but not before taking one last bow to their master they then closed the vault door behind them and took the masyaf keys exiting the fortress they got onto the horses and rode away from Masyaf when they arrived at their plane Azaria returned the horse back to their owner and thanked him for letting him borrow them Bruce started the engines of the plane and set the course for Italy Azaria quickly climbed in helping desmond take off his shirt so she could tend to his wounds "Next stop…home" said Bruce accelerating the plane and took off into the air they had survived one war but now their biggest has just begun.
