The following morning, we left that to sleeping in, but not too late of course. At one point Seth had woken up before Cara and after he had opened his eyes and looked down, he saw Cara snuggled up to him with an arm draped over him. She twitches as he moves her hair and she buries her face in the crook of his shoulder. He chuckles, before he chooses to lightly play with her hair. She growls softly. He just grins, and continues.
"You really don't want me to stay asleep do you." She grumbles sleepily.
"I'm just waiting until you wake up."
"You're playing with my hair." She mutters.
"Keeping myself amused."
She growls and turns over, hiding under the pillow.*
"Grumpy."
"Mmph."
"I'll stop if you want me to."
"For a little while. Like an hour or so." She mumbles.
"Okay, I can do that."
He leaves me alone and she falls back asleep. He amuses himself in other ways and that's mostly doing stuff on his phone. After a while she rolls back over and snuggles into him. He takes one arm and wraps that around her while his other hand is occupied. She makes a contented noise when he rubs her back absentmindedly. At one point he sneaked in a picture, and posted it which she would see obviously later. Not long after that she starts to wake up.
"Good morning." He grins.
"Mmm."
"Feel rested now?"
"Mmhmm."
"Good."
She moves to lay on top of him and gets comfortable.
"Wanna hear the ideas I had for today, and for tonight?"
"Sure."
"Well today, I was thinking something fun...maybe go karting and rock climbing?"
"Ooh, sounds like fun."
"And as for tonight...Jon and I were actually talking about this last night when you two were out of the room. But, how does karaoke sound?"
"Mmm, I told you I don't normally go to karaoke but for you I will. Who knows, maybe it'll be fun this time."
"We can even invite anyone you want to come along."
"I don't really care." She shrugs.
"Well, we could always go and we can just listen to the drunk people make fools of themselves trying to sing." He chuckles.
"That's true." She laughs quietly.
"See, it could be fun."
"Maybe."
"But before we can get to today's activities...breakfast would be the smart idea."
"Mmhmm. But that means moving."
"I know. We can go whenever you feel like it."
"Okay." She says, kissing his cheek.
"It's not too late so we don't have to worry about rushing to get breakfast."
"Right. You know I'm more of a lunch person anyway."
"Right." He nods.
"You may have to motivate me. I'm really comfy."
"Well, that makes two of us."
"Uh-oh. We might not be moving for a while." She laughs.
"I'm alright with that."
He gives her a cheesy grin. She laughs and kisses him quickly.*
"So lunch it will be before we do the fun stuff."
"Most likely." She says amusedly.
"Oh when you do happen to check your phone, you're gonna notice a certain picture I took."
"What did you do?" She asks warily.
"I may have taken a picture of you sleeping and put it up on my twitter. You looked so cute I couldn't help it."
"Oh man, the fangirls are going to spaz out."
"Yeah, they've already started."
"Oh boy." She winces.
"Most of what I've seen so far were positive though."
"That's good. I mean it can't be that shocking. We're seen together almost all the time."
"Exactly."
"I'm just a little worried about the delusional ones. The crazy ones you know?"
"Right. Those are the best ones to try and ignore."
"Right." She says, releasing a long breath.
"I know it's hard, but if you just focus on the positive things the negative people won't get to you."
"Right, I know."
"And there's tons of positive things to focus on." He grins.
"Oh yeah?" She asks amusedly.
"Yeah, of course."
"Like what?"
"Well first of all, that you're back in the ring now and can kick butt on a weekly basis."
"True." She smirks.
"Then there's us and the fact that we love each other."
"Mmm, very true. I do love you." I concede.
"And I love you."
She smiles and kisses him.
"And that's all that matters."
"You're so smart."
"So are you."
"Aww you."
"Me."
She pats his cheek.
"You know, ever since people have figured out we are together, I've been getting a lot of questions on if we're gonna get to work together in a storyline or whatever."
"I wouldn't mind but I don't know. They usually tend to screw up that stuff at some point."
"Yeah I know."
"So as much fun as it would be to work with you on screen, I think I'll pass."
"Unless it's one of those once in a while things, which they tend to do."
"Right."
"We'll have to see what happens...because you're starting your title reign, and my career on the main roster is just starting."
"Good point." She agrees.
"But I do think we'd make a pretty good team if I say so myself."
"Well duh. We're awesome."
"Obviously."
"Any other questions?"
"That's all I've seen. I guess a lot of people want to see us team up."
"Interesting."
"I just tell them maybe in the future, we'll see."
"That's all we can say really."
"Right."
She leans up and kisses him hard before rolling off the bed.
"Oh, now you feel like getting up."
"Yup." She smirks over her shoulder at him.
"I see how it is." He chuckles.
"You made sure the picture wasn't showing anything inappropriate right? I don't have a shirt on you know."
"I made sure, don't worry. I only got your face anyway...you can check and make sure if you want."
"No I trust you. I just wanted to be sure."
"You just looked so cute, I had to take a picture."
"Of course."
She then goes into her bags and rummages through them for clothes to put on for the day at least. She takes everything into the bathroom so she can get ready. While she does that, he gets dressed and ready himself out in the room. She puts her hair up and does light makeup. She does the rest of her routine before leaving the bathroom.
"Nice shirt." He remarks, having gotten a good look at it to read it.
"And they really do." He adds.
"Ninjas do make better boyfriends." She giggles, agreeing.
"Case in point." He chuckles.
"I know." She laughs.
"I'm ready to go if you are."
"Just need shoes and my coat."
He nods and she gets both of them on before being ready to go. They head out to find a place to eat that isn't too crowded. When they find a place, they go through the usual routine of getting a table and such. They order and just sit and talk while they wait.
"So, what would you like to do first after this? Rock climbing or go karts? You can choose."
"Hmm, tough choice." She muses.
"Take your time."
"I think go karts. We might be tired after the rock climbing."
"True."
"I'm gonna beat you." She smirks.
"Says you."
"I think so."
"We'll see about that."
"Oh we will."
"I'm assuming you think you're gonna beat me at the rock climbing too right?" He chuckles.
"I plan on trying."
"Nothing wrong with that."
"Quit stealing." She swats his hand away from her food.
"It's good."
"I know."
"I'll stop though."
"Good. I'd hate to have to move to the other side of the table."
"Oh no, we can't have that."
"Of course not."
"So to prevent that, I will stop." He nods, going back to eating his own food.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
They finish breakfast and pay before heading off again. In the meantime, I was trying to still sleep in, but it was a losing effort as someone was just beginning to get a little impatient waiting for me to wake up. So, Dean repeatedly started to kiss the exposed skin that he could reach as I was laying on my side with my back towards him. I grumble, swatting at him half heartedly.
"...I'm bored..." He mumbles.
"...I'm tired..."
"It's almost noontime. Trust me, I would love nothing but to lay here all day with you, but I have things planned out for today...and tonight."
"...whyyyyyy..."
"Pleeeease?"
I whine right back at him.
"You're so stubborn sometimes."
"Mmph."
"But...I like that about you."
"Uh-huh."
"Well maybe if I tell you what I have planned for today and tonight will help motivate you to get up."
I just hide under my pillow.
"It's fun stuff."
"Eh."
"Okay, what's going to actually motivate you?"
I shrug.
"You're lucky I already know." He chuckles.
Dean starts by tickling my sides, making me squirm.
"Not gonna stop until you're motivated to get up."
"Nooooo."
"Then you only have one choice...get up so we can start the day."
"Awww."
"If you do, we can spend the entire day tomorrow right here and won't have to move at all unless necessary."
"Ooh."
"Alright I'm up." I add.
"Woohoo." He cheers.
"You're a dork."
"Your dork."
"Exactly. Well if I'm gonna get ready for the day, you're gonna have to let me go."
"Oh darn."
"But tell me, what was it in store that you had for today?"
"I figured we could find a bowling alley and do that. I also saw a sign for paintball."
"Sounds like fun."
"I thought it was something different." He says as I roll out of bed.
"Get to make you look all colorful in paintballs." I laugh.
"I think it'll be the other way around."
"Suure."
"You'll see."
"Indeed we will."
Dean gets up and starts getting ready too.
"What about tonight though?" I ask from the bathroom.
"Well I was thinking about going to a bar or something."
"Okay, for what exactly? Because you know I don't drink."
"Watch people embarrass themselves singing karaoke? "
"That sounds like it could be fun."
"Yeah, Colby and I were talking about it last night while you and Cara were finding out that we had tonight off."
"Ohhh."
"And if there's anyone else you'd want to invite, you can. Of course if they're not gonna be busy with the tapings tonight."
"Mmm, can't really think of anyone other than maybe Nattie."
"Well that's fine...you have the rest of the day."
"Right."
"So I'm thinking we do the bowling first, that way we can also have lunch while were there. And save the paintball for last." I add, after coming out of the bathroom.
"Right. We'll be messy after paintball."
"Exactly."
"Makes sense."
"I'm purposely going to pick girly colors to shoot you with." I snicker.
"Aww man." He laughs.
"It won't even matter what colors you pick, because everything looks good on me." I say as I pull on my jacket.
"True." He concedes.
"But shall we get going so that I can kick your butt in bowling?"
"You can try but yeah, let's go."
We then head out and since Cara and Seth had taken the rental car, because we carpooled last night, we ended up getting a taxi to the bowling alley. We go in and get all set up with a lane, ball, and shoes.
"You can go first since this was your idea." I say once our names were put in.
"Why thank you."
"Good luck."
"You too sunshine."
"Probably won't need it, but thank you anyway."
"You're welcome."
To start off, he didn't do too bad, even got a couple strikes on his turns, but he started to get a little over confident at times and that caused him to lose focus and that's when he started getting gutter balls. Every time he would get frustrated and I would do my best not to laugh.
"...'s not funny." He sulks.
"I'm not laughing, I swear."
"You are in your head."
"Well you started out doing good, but I think you got over confident."
"Yeah yeah."
"Well to make you feel better, if you do end up losing this game, we can do another one."
"Okay."
"But this is too much fun to not do another game."
"Yeah it is."
We then take our final few turns and in the end I did end up winning that game. So of course, we did another one. Dean does better this time, paying better attention. With this second game, because he was more focused, he did end up winning.
"Woohoo!" He cheers, kissing me in celebration.
"There, we both won a game." I laugh.
"Fair enough."
"So the ball wasn't conspiring against you. You didn't say it, but I know you were thinking it."
"It was!" He insists.
"Sure, blame the ball."
"It was conspiring against me with the pins."
"Oh yeah, they totally were purposely making you lose that first game." I say sarcastically.
"They did!"
"Whatever you say."
He pouts cutely at me. I lean up and kiss him briefly again, making the pout disappear.
"Better?"
"Yup."
"Good. Now let's go return the shoes and get some food, before we head out to the paintball."
"Sounds good."
We gather our things and then head up and return the shoes, getting ours back in return. Once we have those and put back on, we go over to where the food was being sold and get something to eat and to drink before finding a table to sit and eat.
"This actually looks good." Dean comments.
"It does." I nod.
"Normally food from these places just looks iffy."
"Right?"
"And it's as good as it looks." He mumbles after taking a bite.
"Looks like we'll be coming here a lot then when we're in town when we want to have food and have fun."
"Sounds like a plan to me."
"Should make a day or night where all of us...you, me, Cara, Colby and Ro can come here and just have a fun time to just unwind."
"That would be fun for sure." Dean agrees.
"Especially if it's you three against Cara and myself."
Dean laughs and nods. With Cara and Seth, they were at the go karts and were getting ready for yet another race, as it became a bit of a friendly competition between them, whenever one of them finished before the other. She looks over at him and grins as they wait for the workers to let them out. He grins right back, a grin that tells her that he plans on winning again.
"Nu-uh!"
"I think so!"
She just laughs when her lane gets let out first.
"Ohhh so not cool."
"Later babe!" She laughs and waves as she drives away.
"I will catch up to you!" He shakes his fist.
She just continues to laugh as she drives farther away. Eventually his lane gets let out and he tries his best to catch up to her. She can't help laughing as she sees him trying to pass people. As she sees him trying to pass people, she can just imagine what he's saying...in his head anyway to the people he's trying to pass.
"Goofball." She snickers.
It takes a while, but he ends up being closer to her than he was when she last looked.
"Eep!"
"Aha!"
"No!"
"I told you I would catch up to you!"
Seth starts to try and pass her but she cuts him off. He goes to try again but before he can blink, he's spinning. A young boy of about 12 or 13 flies past laughing.
"I spun Seth Rollins!" He cackles.
Cara busts up laughing at the dumbfounded look on Seth's face. And because of that, it cost him the race and he didn't win it this time. They pull into the pit area and she's still laughing.
"That was too funny."
The kid sees her laughing and grins widely. As everybody gets out of their karts, she offers to take a picture with him. She then waves Seth over so that he could get in the picture as well. They take a few funny ones and some nice ones too. They sign a few things and then head off.
"Sorry you didn't win that race, but you getting spun out was hilarious."
He pouts and she giggles.
"You had fun though."
"Yeah yeah..." He mumbles.
"Oh, don't get grumpy on me now."
She tickles under his chin.
"Smile." She teases lightly.
"I will...after you give me one thing that'll make me feel better."
She obliges him and pulls him down for a kiss. Of course since there were kids around, she didn't make it last too long, and she made it simple.
"Better? Smile now?"
He chuckles and gives her a smile.
"More later." He squeezes her side.
"Definitely." She grins.
"So now what?" I ask.
"The rock climbing?"
"Okay."
"Maybe I'll be better at that than this."
"Oh we'll see about that."
"At least I can't get spun out in rock climbing."
She just laughs.
"No, but you can get distracted." She adds.
"True." He frowns.
"Damn."
"Try not to if you wanna try and beat me in that."
"I'll do my best."
They then head back to the car, and head off to where rock climbing would be.
"This is going to be fun."
"Indeed it will be."
"Love spending one on one time with you." She kisses his cheek.
"Best thing in the world."
"Mmhmm."
"Can never get enough of it."
"Nope, not ever."
He then leans over and kisses her briefly before turning his attention back on the road when the light turned green and he continued the drive to the rock climbing. They get there and grab their gym bags before going inside. He goes up and pays for everything, and then they're given everything they would need for it. He goes and changes while she waits with the stuff. Once he comes back out, she goes and does the same thing, before coming back out herself and being ready to go. She knows he's going to stare and she just laughs to herself thinking about it.
"So, are we ready?" She asks.
"... yeah." He says absentmindedly.
"You sure?" She asks while trying to hold back her laugh.
"...uh-huh."
"Okay, then let's go." She says as she grabs her harness and heads over to the walls.
Seth trails behind, enjoying the view. When she gets there, she puts the harness on so that she'd be all set to be hooked on and ready to climb.
"You ready goofball?" She teases.
"Huh? Yeah I'm ready."
She raises an eyebrow at him, an amused smirk on her face.
"If you say so."
"Race you to the top." She grins.
"Oh you're on."
"Ready, set, go!"
She gets the lead only by a bit, with Seth just inches from catching up with her.
"Nu-uh!"
"I think so!"
They banter back and forth as they climb towards the top. At one point however, he does get ahead of her, as it gets harder to climb the closer to get to the top.
"No fair!"
"Keep trying."
"I...am." She pulls herself up to the next hand hold.
"We can do this as many times as you want, so no rush."
"But we're racing darn it."
"We are."
"I wanna win!"
"That's gonna be hard." He chuckles.
She blows a raspberry at him before focusing on trying to get ahead. In the end, it was him that ended up winning first.
"Damn." She pouts as they repel down the wall.
"But that was fun."
"Yeah." She nods.
"Wanna go again?"
"Yeah." She agrees.
Once they're back on the floor, they get ready to go again, and it's a race between them each time they do go again. This time she's able to find better holds and get up faster. Unlike the go karts, where she had got the most wins in the races they did there, with the rock climbing Seth came back and got the most wins for that, so they both won at something.
"You beat me." She puts as they return the harnesses.
"I did, but I can make it up to you later."
"Oooh."
"After our plans tonight of course."
She blushes a bit as he smirks at her.
"It's exactly what you're thinking."
She blushes even more.
"So you'll have that on your mind all night." He grins.
"Gee, thanks." She says, still with a red face.
"You're welcome?"
"Go get changed before you make me look even more like a tomato." She pushes on him.
"Okay okay I'm going. Though for the record, you would be a cute tomato." He chuckles.
"Hush you."
"Love you too."
Seth gives her a flirtatious squeeze before heading to change. When he comes back out, she heads in to change herself, and once she was done and came back out to him, they then head out and back to the car. From there they head back to the hotel to rest for the time they have left before having to get ready to go out later.
"Shower." She says once they get to their room.
"Right."
"Share?" She asks.
"It saves time and everything, so why not?"
"And you get to be all touchy." She giggles.
"I do."
They both grab clean clothes and head into the bathroom. She starts the shower, shutting the curtain while the water warms up.
"How I love when we share the shower." He grins.
"I've noticed." She teases.
"Though this time the best stuff will be saved until after tonight."
"Right."
"But still gonna have some fun."
"Of course." She giggles.
"With that being said, I think the shower is all set now."
She reaches in and checks the water.
"Yup, all toasty."
"Are you gonna get your clothes...or should I help with that?"
"Up to you." She says amusedly.
"I think you'll need just a little help."
She laughs as Seth pulls her close.
"I figured you would say that."
"It was expected."
"Yup." She agrees lazily, playfully scratching his jaw with her nails.
He then starts to help with getting her clothes off and she does the same for him before they both step into the shower.
"Ooooh, that feels good." She sighs as the hot water washes over her.
"Doesn't it?"
"Mmhmm." She leans into him.
"And so does this." He says as he wraps his arms around her.
"That too. Love my Colby hugs." She smiles.
"Oh I know you do." He grins.
"Because I love you." She squeezes him.
"I love you too."
They take their time washing up and everything, only getting out when it starts to cool off.
"Feel so much better."
"Yeah, hot showers are amazing."
"In more ways than one."
She nods, giggling.
"I think after we get dressed, we should just go and lay on the bed for the rest of the time we have alone."
"Sounds good." She agrees.
"I think I'm going to dry my hair real quick though."
"You can do that." He nods.
Seth gets dressed and goes into the bedroom. She gets dressed and starts doing her hair. He just simply puts his hair up and lets it air dry that way, before climbing onto the bed and waiting for her. She gets her hair tamed enough to make her happy and then goes to join Seth. As soon as she climbs onto the bed, he pulls her closer and she gladly snuggles into him.
"My cuddly ninja."
"Always."
She leans up for a kiss. He gladly returns it, making up for it being so short at the go karts since they were around kids and others there. She giggles against his lips when he lays her on her back and pins her down. He also had pinned her hands down so that she couldn't touch him, for right now anyway. He chuckles when she tries to get her hands free. She whines in protest.
"...just a few more minutes..." He mumbles.
She goes to protest again but he distracts her and she forgets about it. She was so distracted, she didn't even know when he did finally let her hands go. It wasn't until she moved them and she felt his skin, because he wasn't wearing a shirt, that she realized he let them go. She kisses back harder and lets her nails drag over his skin. That causes him to squeeze wherever his hands were, ever so gently in retaliation. She tenses up slightly and makes a soft noise. He just grins against her lips, before he pulls away and starts to kiss the skin that he could reach. She runs her fingers over his shoulders, gently tugging on his ponytail. And since they were going out tonight, he left any marks to a minimum, and would save them for later. She pulls him back up for a proper kiss. This time, she has control of the kiss and she keeps it going for as long as she wanted it to go for. She reluctantly pulls away for air and giggles quietly at his dazed expression.
"Now who's the dazed one this time?"
"Not fair." He says as he comes back to normal.
"Love you."
"Love you too blue eyes." He chuckles slightly after she makes a silly face.
He then moves and rests his head on her shoulder, but keeps an arm draped over her.
"Comfy?" She teases lightly.
"Very."
"That's good."
"You're comfy just like I am to you."
"Good to know." She giggles.
In the meantime, Dean and I were just finishing up paintball and just like bowling, he kept saying the paintball gun was conspiring against him as he barely got me...just a few shots. He had more bright pink on him than anything, thanks to me.
"I want a picture of this." I laugh.
"Of course you do."
I get one of the employees to take a few picture of me and pink splattered Dean. I thank them and then get a look at the picture and can't help but laugh.
"Haha very funny." Dean pouts.
"You can get me back another time for it."
"Oh I will."
"Well at least there'll be nothing on your clothes since everything was covered."
"True." He concedes.
"So, are we ready to get out of here before we have to out in a few hours again?"
"Yeah. I think so." Dean agrees.
I nod and we take everything off that was covered in the paint, and return everything before getting a taxi back to the hotel. Before long, we're stepping off the elevator on our floor. Dean pulls out the room key as we get to our door. Once we walk inside, I go right over to the bed and fall back on it.
"Good, I can relax now." I sigh.
"Sounds good to me." Dean says, falling beside me.
"While...my phone starts going crazy because of Twitter. Looks like a lot of people spotted us while we were out during our activities."
"Oh yeah?"
"Love how they mention you too, but you don't even use that Twitter account." I laugh.
Dean snickers.
"If they're hoping for a response, they're out of luck."
"So many followers, but it's basically dead."
"Yup. Social media is not my thing."
"Which is a good thing because there's tons of crazies on there."
"Good to know."
"But I'll look at the rest later." I say as I turn over on my stomach to reach over and put my phone on the side table.
"Okay." He says, tickling my side.
"Ah, no tickling!"
"Why not?" He laughs.
"Because with you, there's no telling when you'll stop."
"Touché."
"But...too bad." He adds, before continuing tickling, as he traps me under him so I can't go anywhere.
"Noooo!" I squeal, giggling helplessly.
"Payback." He chuckles.
"Stoppppp!"
"Hmmm...nope."
"You'll live."
"... can't breathe!"
Just for that, he does stop so that I can breathe normally again. But that doesn't get me un-trapped from him.
"Butthead." I say breathlessly.
"Oh the name calling." He chuckles.
"Love you too."
I swat him half heartedly.
"Ever gonna un-trap me?"
"Nope." He grins.
"Darn."
"Unless I'm hurting you, I'm good."
"No, I'm good."
"Let me know if this gets uncomfortable for you."
"I will. But as long as I'm not able to move really, I might as well make it worth it." I say as I grab him and pull him down for a kiss.
He chuckles and kisses back. My hands stay resting on his neck, while his wander as usual. I squirm when his touches tickle. When he realizes that, he tries his best to make them not tickle since he had already tickled me not too long ago. But once I felt that his touches weren't tickling anymore, I relaxed again and had started to get lost in the kiss once he decided that he was going to take it over. Of course that making up for what we couldn't do while in public during the day. He only pulls away when he really has to. He smirks as I look a little out of it.
"Every...time."
"But it's fun."
"Of course it is."
"You know you enjoy it." He grins.
"Considering I didn't get anything while we were out today...I do."
"I know we went without for a while but there were kids around and I don't want to scar them for life." Dean says with a chuckle.
"Oh I know."
"We tend to get a little out of hand sometimes."
"And who's fault is that?"
"Hey now, it's not always me." He protests, laughing.
"A lot of the time it is though." I snicker.
"Touché."
"At least we won't really have to worry about that tonight."
"Yeah, no kiddies at the bar."
"Exactly."
"That's a very good thing."
"But if we're inviting Ro to join us, Colby and Cara then...well we have a problem."
"True. Damn."
"Could always blame it on you being a bit drunk." I laugh.
"Eh, true."
"We'll figure something out."
He nods, kissing my cheek. The rest of the time left we have to ourselves, we spend relaxing right there. Eventually he had moved so I wasn't trapped anymore and he had pulled me over so that I was half laying on him. But as the time passed, it soon came time to get ready to go out again. Dean reluctantly lets me go so I can get ready.
"Shouldn't take me too long...I have a pretty good idea of what I'm picking out." I remark.
"No rush." He shrugs.
I nod and grab everything I need before heading into the bathroom to get ready. As usual, while I'm getting ready in the bathroom, he's in the room getting ready himself. And he just simply changes into a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He lays his leather jacket on the bed and then just relaxes while waiting for me. Once I was ready, I come out of the bathroom and put my other clothes and everything else back with my things. Dean whistles playfully.
"Like always." I grin.
"Because you're beautiful."
"I know I am."
"Good." He chuckles.
"And I only dress to impress for you."
"I always appreciate it."
"You're welcome."
Dean gets up and puts his shoes and coat on.
"Shall we?" He asks.
"Yup." I agree, putting on my own jacket.
"After you."
I leave the room first with Dean following behind me.
"Just have to wait for the others. Unless you wanted to meet them there and we get a taxi again."
"Up to you." He shrugs.
"Maybe it would be a good idea, so that we can save a table for us."
"Very true." He concedes.
"I'll get it." I say as I grab my phone and call for a cab while we're just stepping out of the elevator.
Dean guides me outside and it doesn't take too long for a cab to pull up. After we get inside of the cab, we tell him where to go and then we head off. When we do get there, Dean pays the cab driver and then we head inside and find a table that we all could sit at.
"This is perfect." I say, sitting down.
"Yeah. Do you want something to drink?" Dean asks.
"Sure." I nod.
"Anything in particular?"
"Surprise me."
"Alright." He chuckles, kissing me quickly before heading over to the bar.
While I'm sitting there and waiting, I take my phone out to text Cara, saying that we're already here and we have a table saved. She tells me they're running a little behind but they'll be there soon.
"Okay, so they'e saved a table for us." She remarks.
"Oh that's good." Seth says, watching while she finishes putting her hair up.
She quickly does her makeup and gets her jewelry before looking at shoes. She sets out a pair of glitter heels and a pair of black boots and bites her lip indecisively.
"Need help?"
"Mmhmm. Boots or heels?" I motion to the shoes on the floor after he comes up behind me.
"Hmm...well you do like the sparkles..."
"Heels it is." She giggle quietly.
She then grabs those and slips those on before grabbing a jacket. She makes sure she has everything she needs before meeting Seth at the door.
"You do look amazing." He grins.
"You look good too." She smiles, reaching out to swat his butt playfully.
"Well...only the best for you."
"Much appreciated and all mine." She giggles.
"Yes, all yours."
"Let's go lover boy, we're already late since you were being grabby and didn't want to let me get dressed." She says.
"Oops?"
"Yeah oops."
"After you."
She walks out first and he follows. She grabs his hand and laces their fingers together. Once they were downstairs, they made their way out to the car and got in, before heading off. They get to the bar and it takes a minute before they locate Dean and I.
"Sorry we're late. Someone was being grabby and didn't want to let me up." She says as they reach the table.
"That explains it."
"Mmhmm." She agrees.
Seth grins sheepishly.
"Any reason why he was grabby and didn't want to let you up?" I snicker.
"Not really." She says amusedly.
"Just one of those days." Dean remarks.
"Yup, pretty much." She agrees with a laugh.
"He would know. He didn't really wanna get up after the day we had today." I laugh.
"Oh how alike they are." She giggles.
"Right?"
"Boys."
"Would you like anything to drink?" Seth asks you.
"Sure. You know what I like."
He nods and he goes to the bar to get his drink and hers.
"So, did you invite anyone to come along tonight?" I ask.
"Nattie." She shrugs.
"Ah. I invited Naomi, but she's just gonna make sure she's not needed for SmackDown first. And I think Ro's gonna come...most likely with Jimmy and Jey."
"Oh boy." She laughs.
"Should be fun."
"Oh yes."
"And you know if the girls can come, they're gonna try and get us up there for the karaoke."
"I know. I don't know if I'm looking forward to that."
"I'm sure they'll understand if you don't want to."
"Yeah but you know they'll guilt trip."
"True, well we'll have to see what happens."
She nods. Seth returns with their drinks and she kisses his cheek as a thank you.
"So, any hilarious drunk people start trying to sing yet?"
"Nah, I don't think they're drunk enough yet." Dean snickers.
"I think it's gonna take a while." I add.
"Oh darn." She laughs.
"So what did you do today?"
"Went go karting and rock climbing. You?"
"Bowling and paintballing. He thought the pins, the ball, paintballs and gun were conspiring against him."
Seth and her laugh.
"But they were!" Dean insists, which makes us laugh more.
"He ended up covered in pink splotches." I grin in amusement.
"Awesome." Cara high fives me.
"I have a picture too."
"Ooh, do share."
I go into my phone and come up to the picture, showing them.
"Oh wow, you really nailed him good." Seth laughs.
"It was easy to get him when he was yelling at his paintball gun." I laugh.
"I bet." Cara snickers.
"She just got lucky." Dean mumbles.
"Sure she did." Seth smirks.
"I just have perfect aim."
He sulks.
"You survived."
"Yeah yeah." He grumbles.
"We're out having fun right now. No being all grumbly."
Dean sticks his tongue out childishly.
"Tell us though, how was the go karts and rock climbing?"
"I kicked his butt in go karts but he beat me in rock climbing." She says.
"You only kicked my butt in go karts because I got spun out."
"Oh that was sooo funny." She tells us, giggling.
"Oh my god, what happened?" I laugh.
"He was trying to pass me and some kid spun him out and yelled that he spun Seth Rollins as he drove away."
"That's hilarious." I say as I crack up.
"Oh my god it was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing."
"There should've been video of that." Dean chuckles.
"You know, it wouldn't surprise me if there was." Cara giggles.
"Probably within the next few day something will pop up."
"Yup." She agrees.
"Then I'll be looking forward to seeing it."
"I'll keep watch and let you know." I say amusedly.
"Great."
Seth pouts a little and she laughs, kissing his cheek.
"You'll survive."
"He beat me every race we had at the rock climbing though." She says.
"Well there you go."
He looks proud at that statement and she giggles a little bit. After a bit, more people start showing up and first is Nattie and Naomi. Everybody says hi and of course us girls start chatting away. Dean and Seth only had each other to talk with, until Roman, Jimmy and Jey walked in.
"Thank god. Back up." Dean jokes.
"Heard that."
"Just kidding." He says to me with a cheesy grin.
"I hope so."
He gives me a cute look and all the girls laugh.
"He learned from the last time he said something he shouldn't have said." I explain to them.
"Ohhhh." Nattie and Naomi laugh.
"Yeah, never make that mistake again." Roman chuckles.
"They don't like the couch threat." Cara says amusedly.
"Don't think any guy does."
"Tis true."
We then proceed to tell the girls about the things we did today, including the funny parts of the day and everything. There's laughter and teasing all around. As the time goes by, some people do start to do karaoke, and most of them are good. But then there gets to be quite a few drunk people who try.
"Oh good lord." Cara puts her hand over her face as a drunk guy starts singing Justin Bieber.
"Only someone who's drunk would choose Justin Bieber. I think he just made him hate his music even more." I laugh.
"Uh yeah."
"Ohh make it stop."
The drunk guy ends up falling off the stage after a rather spectacular fail at a dance move.
"Oh my god, what a fail!"
"That fall was spectacular." Cara snickers.
"He'll have a lot more than just a little headache in the morning."
"Oh yeah. Some nice painful bruises."
"That's what he gets."
"Idiots."
"So glad you guys could come out tonight though. Not too often we get to spend time together."
"Yeah, totally. This is fun."
"Need to do this more often for sure, where we can just unwind from work."
"Definitely. It'd be fun." Cara agrees.
"Maybe next time just us girls."
"Ooh that would be great."
"Yeah, they can do their own guy thing, and we can do our own girl thing."
"Heck yeah." We high five.
"And they'll most certainly survive the time away from us." I say loud enough for them to hear, because we know they were paying attention somewhat.
"What about us?" Dean asks.
"Oh, nothing."
"Oh come on, tell us!"
"We were just talking about how we should do this again, except you do your guy thing and we do our girl thing."
"Ohhhh." They all say.
"And the fact that you and Colby will be able to survive that time without us." I say about Cara and I.
"I guess." Dean says dramatically.
"See what I deal with? Oh so dramatic." I laugh as I tell the girls.
Nattie and Naomi laugh, Cara just looks amused.
"I see someone's grown very much attached to you. It's cute." Nattie adds.
"Not cute." Dean makes a face.
"So you say now." I say amusedly.
He sticks his tongue out childishly.
"Just trying to act all tough in front of the guys." Cara laughs.
Dean scoffs but all the girls just grin knowingly.
"Well you know this kind of situation is what got him in trouble last week with me."
"Ooooh." They say when he winces.
"But...I'll let it slide this time."
He looks relieved.
"But basically what happened last week was that I kind of caught him saying that he wasn't whipped."
The girls laugh and the guys look just shake their heads.
"Learned the hard way to not let that happen again."
"I bet."
After a while and a few drinks or so later, next thing I knew, Dean had moved from the table and he was looking through the book for the karaoke.
"Uh-oh." Cara nudges me, snickering.
"He must be feeling like he can do much better than the people who've been trying and failing already."
"He probably could. These people are pretty awful." Cara remarks.
"And all those people didn't even really know their songs."
"Barely."
"This should be good though."
"Definitely." Cara snickers.
It takes a while, but he does finally decide on a song, and once the music does start and it happens to be White Wedding by Billy Idol.
"Oh jeez."
Cara laughs and pulls out her phone.
"I'm so recording this."
"And then don't tell him you recorded it." I laugh.
"I don't care if he knows." I say amusedly.
"It's blackmail."
"True."
"Mwahahaha."
"I think Colby and Ro have the same idea." I snicker, as I point out that they have their phones out as well.
"Triple blackmail, woo!"
Despite him being a bit drunk, he was better than everyone else who went up before him. But all of us are still highly amused, trying not to laugh. He then goes for a big finish, almost trips but catches himself, before the song ends and he comes back to the tables. The phones have been hurriedly put away and now we're all just snickering quietly. Cara buries her head against Seth, laughing silently.
"Wiped the floor with everyone else." Dean remarks as he sits.
"That's not hard." Cara giggles.
"The rest of them just picked the wrong songs to sing." I add.
"Some just sound awful." She shakes her head.
"Exactly."
Dean grabs me and pulls me onto his lap randomly. Cara stifles a laugh at the look on my face.
"Never close enough for you am I?"
"Nope." He chuckles.
"Despite me having my own spot to sit in."
"This is better."
"Of course it is."
Seth nods in agreement with Dean while Cara just looks amused.
"I would look out, 'cause you might be next." I say to her, looking between her and Seth.
"This is true. I'm a little surprised it hasn't happened yet." She remarks.
"Guarantee it'll be when you're not expecting it."
"It usually is."
After a while of sitting there, that does indeed happen. And she squeaks when it does. I laugh as she smacks Seth's chest.
"Gotcha." He chuckles.
"Butthead."
"Love you too."
"Doofus." She sighs with an amused smile before giving him a kiss.
"Awww." The girls grin.
She blushes a little and hides against Seth.
"You two are cute also."
"Thanks." Seth chuckles, rubbing her back.
"We get that a lot." She adds.
"There's plenty of haters though. This one posted a picture of us without my knowledge and I almost thought some of them were going to set twitter ablaze or something." She says as she shits back up, the blush gone from her face.
"Oh yeah, you'll get a lot of those."
"You don't deserve him, you're ugly, you're fat, you bitch he's mine, you should still be with Wade." She recites some of the stuff, rolling her eyes.
"See, they don't know what goes on behind the scenes, so they don't even know how things really were with Wade." I remark.
"No but that doesn't stop them from saying it."
"Nothing stops the haters."
"Nope."
"It's the same way with us, except since we're not public with our relationship, people are just assuming things. We too had a few pictures pop up on Twitter of us today." I say about Dean and myself.
"That was us until doofus posted that picture." I swat Seth.
"I'm sorry, but you were too cute to not take a picture and post it."
"Awww." All the girls gush.
She turns red.
"I knew what I was getting ourselves into when I posted it, don't worry."
"The only ones that bother me are the ones that think you should be with him and not me." Seth adds.
"Right."
"They're not getting their wish. Ever." She shrugs, kissing Seth's cheek.
"Never ever."
"See, they're so cute that they could rot your teeth out." Nattie tells Naomi.
"Well at least I've been taking good care of her, so you have nothing to worry about."
"Very true. Just keep it that way and we won't have any problems." Nattie points her finger at him.
"You have my word."
"Good. This goes for you too." She looks at Dean.
"Ah, you don't have to worry about me. I've got it all under control."
"Good."
"Despite him being just a tad drunk, I know he means it." I laugh.
We all laugh.
"Hey now. I'm not... drink... drunk." Dean protests.
This makes us laugh harder.
"You totally are. You're lucky we took a cab here."
"He's going to have a hangover tomorrow." Cara says amusedly.
"Thank god we don't have to go to work."
"Yeah totally."
"I do have experience with dealing with him when he's like this. So I know what to do."
"That's good at least."
"And that's why you've been one...one of my best friends." Dean adds.
"Awww." Cara teases.
"Though that is true, I think we should cut you off from the drinks now." I laugh.
"You're no...fun." He complains.
"So you always say when I decide to cut you off."
Dean just pouts.
"That's not gonna work this time. Trying to help you so you don't have too bad of a hangover tomorrow."
"Damn."
Then he just sighs before burying his face in my neck.
"You'll live." You pat his shoulder.
As the night went on, the karaoke didn't get any better after Dean had gone up. It got worse. We all decided to stay there for about another hour or so before deciding to call it a night and head back to the hotel.
"Need any help with him?" Seth asks me.
"I think I got him. Don't mind us taking the ride back to the hotel with you do you? Who knows how long it'll take for a taxi to show up and I'd rather not hold him up that long." I say the last part amusedly.
"It's not a problem at all." He chuckles.
When we reach the car, Seth unlocks it and then I get Dean into the back seat, with a bit of a struggle but he managed to get in. I followed, as Cara and Seth got into the front.
"Well that was certainly an interesting night." I say amusedly while Seth drives to the hotel.
"I know right?"
"The only disappointing thing was that you didn't get up and sing." Seth says to her.
"Maybe next time." She laughs.
"I hope so."
She pats his arm and giggles.
"But if not at least when it's just us."
"I think I could do that." She agrees.
"That way it's only me listening."
"Mmhmm, true."
"As I found out over the holidays, you do have a great voice. I'd love to hear it more."
"I'll try." She kisses his cheek.
"Good."
Once we reach the hotel, Seth and her help me get Dean to our room. We walk into the room once we reach it and just let him fall onto the bed.
"Thanks for the help. You two have a good night."
"You're welcome. You too."
I nod before hugging them both, before they walk out of the room and head to their own.
