Sonic, Shadow, Amy, and Silver were still in the elevator as Sonic was stretching his arms, trying his best to stay in shape as Shadow was reading another book, with Amy and Silver playing cards.
"You know, if only we had a giant generic monster of the week to break us out of here," Sonic remarked as he placed his hands on his hips, closing his eyes as he shook his head. "It would be much better than rotting in here."
Shadow scoffed as he flipped through the pages of his book, glancing at Sonic. "Who do you honestly expect to show up and rescue us, Godzilla? He's busy with his new movie."
Sonic blinked as he tilted his head to the right. "Godzilla has a new movie?" He remarked in shock, being quite surprised.
Silver gasped as he focused his attention on Sonic. "Dude, you didn't know at all? Did you miss all the hubbub?"
Sonic rolled his eyes as he folded his arms. "Well excuse me for having a life rolling around at the speed of sound. I don't slow down like you slowpokes."
"Shush!" Amy snarled as she turned her head at Sonic, glaring at him. "I'm trying to get the advantage with a royal flush!"
Silence as Amy Rose's stomach gurgled, with Amy's eyes widening up as the other three male hedgehogs glanced at each other, then turning to Amy.
"Oh... maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the 'f' word..." Amy whimpered as she gulped, sweating a bit nervously. "I forgot we've been in here for a while..."
"...Just play the damn game." Silver remarked as he rolled his right hand around, trying to get Amy's mind off the particular subject as Sonic kept on stretching his arms, with Shadow continuing to read his book.
Meanwhile, Godzilla himself was attacking Spagonia during the nighttime, with the humans running in fear as Godzilla was easily destroying the Dark Gaia monsters that were popping up all over the Rooftop Run.
