They were in the office of the warehouse, drinking while the boss watched the screen that had several angles of their prisoner. The four of them were glad they caught the shinobi but then again he refused to be broken even at the threat of death. Savillo, their punisher and torturer, entered the room as he wiped his hands on a rag. He was muscled and tall with black hair cut close to his scalp.
"What's our progress?" Boss growled.
"It's still at a standstill. He won't talk or open his eyes," Savillo huffed. "This guy has been all over the place, a lot of scars on him, and he even has a Gan'u stone around his neck."
"Break him, make him talk. Either way we will kill the leaf ninja when we are done."
"Yes sir," Savillo grinned and left again.
Everyone focused on the screens and started laughing drunkily as they watched the masked man be hurt and forced to make sounds of pain. Tsuko and Batsu were too drunk to do anything else but Kabuki was barely buzzed. There was a growl from outside the office and he frowned.
"You hear something?" Kabuki asked.
"Yeah, sounded like an animal in the warehouse," the Tsuko laughed. "Probably chasing after those damn rats again."
"Yeah probably," he agreed but felt unsettled. Another cry came from their captive and the door slammed open making everyone flinch while Tsuko and Batsu fell from their seats with a hard thump. "Holy shit..."
A young woman stood in the door, a sword in each hand and she radiated with anger. She stepped into the room and boss stepped forward to meet her.
"You are trespassing, young lady," he spoke calmly.
"And you are all going to die," her voice was like ice and her eyes narrowed as another cry came from the screen.
"And why would that be?" Boss tilted his head unfazed.
"Besides the fact that you captured one of the Leaf's better shinobi, nobody steals one of my companions let alone my husband," she growled before suddenly appearing behind the boss and shoved a sword through his back and grinned at the other three. "I do not tolerate stupid people very well."
"Why you...?!" Batsu and Tsuko stumbled to their feet and drew kunai.
"Really?" The woman's arms dropped to her sides and she stared at the two men completely amused. "You are going to attack a pregnant jounin of the leaf while drunk? You must be completely brain dead."
"You little..." Both fell to the ground as water swirled around their necks and they passed out from lack of air.
"Now then, am I going to have to kill you too or are you going to take me to him?" She turned to face Kabuki as she pointed to the screens. "You don't seem as stupid like your friends."
"If you are pregnant then why did you come?" Kabuki asked as he got to his feet slowly.
"I will not let my child come into this world and grow up without her father," she growled as she raised one of her blades. "What is your answer?"
"I won't take you," he spoke calmly and watched as her eyes narrow in anger. "I'm not stupid, nor am I amazingly smart but right now you are the enemy and I have an oath to my people."
"It gives a gang no right to kidnap people just because they are not from the same village and were taught differently," she hissed.
"No it doesn't, I can't excuse what my boss started but he had his reasons and if I took you then the gang would kill me as mercilessly as you killed boss."
"You would deserve it, all of you."
"Then finish it here and now," he spoke opening his arms away from him to give her a clear shot of his chest. "At least give me a more honorable death rather than betray my people."
"You asked for it, don't you dare come back and haunt me for your choice," she muttered as she walked to him and raised her sword to his chest and he felt the top dig in.
"Daddy, can we go get...?" The young lady turned her head and froze seeing the kid who stood in the doorway. "Pretty lady, what are you doing with daddy?"
"He has taken my husband and..."
"No, don't," kabuko spoke quietly just for her. "Don't tell him..."
"You brought this on your family yourself by joining this stupid gang," she growled, not even trying to hide the anger.
"Daddy... Did you take her child's daddy?" The boy walked into the room, fear in his eyes as he looked around the room.
"Your uncle did."
"P-pretty lady...?" He looked around and stared at the dead bodies around him.
"I don't mess around kid, it's not even about the fact that he is my husband, it's the fact that this gang had the balls to capture one of the highest ranked shinobi of the Leaf. That could easily start a war then that creates more deaths."
"Pretty lady, please don't kill daddy..."
She turned to face Kabuki as she kept her blade at his chest. "Don't think I won't do it just because the brat is here. I am a Chimera and the strongest of all of them before they were all killed. I don't give mercy when I'm angry. All you got to do is tell me where he is or I'll go through every person in this village to find him."
"Daddy, just tell her!" The boy was in tears as he stood near the door in hysterics. "Isn't your job as my daddy more important than some man from another village? You can't be my daddy if your dead!"
"Should listen to him, he is wiser than you. Let's try this again," Sorra shrugged as she stepped back and pointed to the screen as another distorted cry came from the speakers. "Where is my husband?"
"In the basement," he whispered as he sagged against the wall and slid to the floor as she pulled her blade away.
"Off your ass, your taking me there. Is rather not have to hunt you down if you gave me the wrong information," she snapped as she grabbed his arm and pulled him back up easily.
"Unyo, come here," Kabuki spoke quickly and he picked up his son as the woman motioned for him to lead the way down the stairs.
"I wouldn't have pressed to take the kid. He's seen enough blood but that's not my choice," she spoke as if she hadn't just been threatening him with death.
"And yet a minute ago you were wanting to kill me in front of him."
"I'll admit it, right now I'm a hormonal bitch," she shrugged. "Told ya I don't do mercy when I'm angry but I'm not angry now that I didn't have to kill you for information."
"Would you have really killed the entire village for your husband?" Kabuki asked.
"Yes, we have had hard times considering he used to be my sensei, but neither of us gave up and I don't plan to start now," she replied calmly and he blinked in surprise.
"A taboo relationship..."
"So what?" A cry echoed through the stairwell and the woman pushed past them and dashed down quicker than a pregnant woman should have. "You bastard!"
Kabuki covered his sons ears as he slowly continued down the steps. There was sounds of metal clashing against each other as well as a few grunts. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw the woman shove her sword into his chest but there was a dagger in her thigh showing that the fight wasn't as easy as killing boss. She ripped the dagger out and dashed to the prisoner and tried to unstrap his bindings as she let out several sobs.
"S-Sorra...?" The prisoner's lips were cracked and bleeding from abuse.
"Damnit Kashi, I can't leave you alone, can I?" She sobbed, giving up on undoing the bindings. "I can't loose you, not again..."
"W-what are you doing here? Tsunade said you could be do any week..."
"Idiot, no matter what she said, I had to come find you. I had several shinobi with me but we lost track of each other in the village. Will you help me get him down?"
"Sure," kabuki nodded and put Unyo down before coming over and undoing straps carefully as she held him up. He wrapped an arm under his shoulder and touched her shoulder "I got him."
"Thank you," she smiled as tears continued to stream down her cheeks.
"Daddy lets get him home and let mommy help him..."
"I have a medic on my team," Sorra spoke quickly. "I better get him out of the village before the rest of your gang decides to show up. Kashi, can you stand?"
"Yes..." Kabuki slowly let him use his own strength and he stayed standing.
"I'm sorry, but this is necessary," Sorra spoke before stabbing a small needle in Unyo's arm and one in his as well. "Your good people just mixed in with the wrong crowd. Hopefully this helps you stay alive."
"Thank you," Kabuki nodded as he caught his son as he passed out from the tranquilizer and sat on the ground before he fell.
"Let's go home Kashi," she smiled as she put an arm around his waist and they walked out.
