Chapter 36

With Inuyasha and friends

When they got to where they heard the screams come from they saw an unconscious man on the ground. Kagome approached him and gasped. "It's Koga." He didn't seem to be injured in any way, shape, or form. He just fainted. "Since when does Koga faint? …" she looked around for the two girls. "And where are Lily and Puss?"

"Their sent leads this way." Inuyasha said pointing in a direction opposite of the way to camp.

"Ok. Miroku could go with Inuyasha to find them?" Kagome asked as she put Koga's head in her lap. They set off to find them almost immediately.

"I should have seen this coming. Dammit!" detective said running her hands through her hair.

"Seen what coming? What are you talking about?" Sango asked.

"They're all deathly afraid of wolves." She sighed. "Every time they see one scream and run is all that is going through their mind."

"You said all. Do you mean the other two are the same?" Kagome asked from Koga's side.

"Yeah. Sometimes they scream so loud they knock the demon out. Then they still run away."

"Is there any way to prevent that from happening?" Sango asked. Everyone was thinking the same thing. 'That sounds really annoying'.

"Well, there is one wolf they aren't scared of. He has been with them since the beginning." She said with a thoughtful look.

"How do you know all this?" Kagome asked getting suspicious.

"Let's just say… I have my sources." She said with an evil smirk.

With girls

They had been running at full speed for a while yet they didn't slow down. They were running out of pure fear. Tears formed long streaks down their cheeks blurring their path. It blurred the path so much they didn't see the hot spring that was in front of them… or the rock that they tripped over.

With Kristen's group

When they arrived at the hot spring the boys were disappointed… well, Wolf was. The spring was cut almost completely in half by large rocks. "I should have known it was too good to be true." Wolf murmured hanging his head.

They went to their respective sides and prepared to bathe. Before they could finish or even step into the water two blurs, one white and the other more like a shadow, fell into the spring on the boy's side.

Lily and Puss popped back up to the surface almost immediately. "Di-…Did we lose them?" Lily asked coughing trying to catch her breath.

"I thin-… think so." Puss said also coughing. They dragged themselves out the water and finally noticed the two boys starring at them. "Oh. Hello." She said panting. "Sorry for interrupting your bath."

They stood there not saying a word. Fox was blushing like mad trying to keep his eyes on her face. Wolf on the other hand… was doing the exact opposite. He looked them up and down over and over.

The way they were laying was too much for him. Lily was on her back propped up on her elbows with one leg bent. Puss wasn't in any better position. She was on her belly also propped up on her elbows. Both girls' clothes were ripped where the fabric got snagged during their run through the forest. Having just came out of the water the clothes clung to them and were almost see through, especially Puss' clothing which was white.

"Are you guys alright over here? Who are you talking to?" three heads turned toward Rapunzel as she walked from the other side of the large rocks. Wolf was still gawking trying to engrave the picture of them into his mind. 'I might- No, I will never get to see this again. Gotta save this memory.'

The two girls gasped. "Nana."

"Nana?" Fox asked confused.

"Fox?" Kristen called as peeked out at them.

"Kristen?" Lily called.

"Fox?" Puss said as she turned toward the two boys.

"Puss be nice." Rapunzel said.

"Puss?" Wolf said chuckling.

"Wolf, shut up." Kristen scolded.

"Wolf? Talk about not living up to your name." Lily said snidely.

"Lily." Rapunzel said in a motherly tone.

"Sorry Nana." Lily said hanging her head.

"Lily?" Kristen said. Lily looked over at her and her eyes widened.

"I knew it. You are alive." Lily yelled pointing at Kristen. Said girl just looked completely lost. "I told you, Puss! For once I was right and you were wrong. And Nana is alive too. You said there was no way, but she's right here. So you can take your words and shove them right up-"

Rapunzel cleared her throat gaining Lily's attention. "We get it. You're glad to see us. Now, please clam down."

"Sorry Nana. I'm just so happy." She wrapped the small girl into a big hug. "It's been so long since we've seen you." She whispered into her hair.

"Don't be so dramatic. It's only been a week or two." Nana said returning the hug with a smile. 'I never noticed how long it's been since someone hugged me. Feels nice.' The feeling soon ended when Lily suddenly pulled away.

"What are you talking about? It's been 10 years." She had a look of worry on her face. This bit of information only caused Rapunzel to have a confused look settle on her features.

"Whaa…?" She said slowly trying to comprehend what was being said to her.

"We will talk about this later. Kristen." Lily turned toward a seriously confused girl. "Where have you been for the past year?"

"How do you know my name?"

"You don't remember her?" Puss asked

"No. I don't know you two." The girl were shocked. They had been there since she was born, well Lily was.

"Do you know who this is?" Puss asked pointing to Rapunzel.

"Of course." They took a sigh of relief until "Her name is Rapunzel and she's helping us find someone."

"Dammit. What happened to you?"

With Inuyasha and monk

They had been running for a while trying to catch up to the two scared girls. "How can two people go so far in so little time?" Inuyasha groaned

"The power of fear should never be underestimated." Miroku answered as they slowed down.

"At least we almost caught up with them. And they finally stopped running." Inuyasha said as he continued to lead the way.

By the time they got there Lily and Puss were on the ground looking like they were shocked. Not even noticing who else was at the spring Inuyasha started to speak. "There you are! What the hell did you run for?" He said in his usual rude tone.

Once he finished talking the other people at the spring looked at the two newcomers. Before anyone could do anything Kristen run straight at Inuyasha and kicked him in the shin.

"The hell?!" he turned toward the little girl and flinched when he saw her face. 'The devil came back!' "When the hell did you get here?"

"Hello to you too, Dog-boy." Kristen said rudely.
