Epilogue
Lux sang softly to her daughter as she rocked her gently in her arms. It was another late night and it seemed for the third night in a row Amelia was deciding not to sleep. It was also the third night in a row that Jax's had been gone with the club. The headed down to meet with another charter to have a larger club meeting. Even though Jackson was finally able to get the club out of guns, she always still worried for him whenever he was away. Amelia let out another soft grunt as she slowly fell asleep. Lux let out a silent prayer before moving to place her down into her bassinet.
After kissing the top of her daughters head and wishing her a goodnight, she headed down the hallway and checked in on Tommy. With a soft sigh, Lux walked further down the hallway and sat down in the living room, turning on the TV for background music as she grabbed her phone checking it once more. She smiled when she saw one text message from Jackson; Home soon. I miss you like crazy baby. I can't wait to see you. She smiled softly and set her phone back down before turning towards the TV.
Only a few hours passed before the sound of the keys in the lock woke her and Jackson walked through the door. He smiled the moment he saw her before quickly walking across the living room and taking her into his arms. She laughed softly, still slightly asleep, as he carried her back towards their room.
"Waiting up for me Mrs. Teller?" He smiled down towards her.
"You know that I am." She yawned softly and rested her hand against his chest before he laid her down across the bed.
Slowly he began to strip her clothes slowly, leaving her in only her boy-shorts and tank top. She moaned softly and moved to rest up on her elbows and watched as her husband walked around their bedroom as he took off his clothes.
"How'd everything go?" She spoke softly as she watched him. "The rest of the charter gonna back you on getting away from the Irish?"
"For the most part" Jax's moved towards the bed, spreading Lux's legs slowly as he moved to hover over her. "Those that aren't with the new line of direction know they either have to come to terms, or leave."
Jax bent his head and kissed her lips softly, his hands slowly moving along her sides, and her legs wrapping around his waist.
"You're doing so much good Jax, I'm proud of you, taking the steps that you need to in order to be safer" Lux smiled before kissing his lips softly again.
"Feels so good to hear you say that, I want to be a good man for you and our kids."
"Jackson," Lux whispered and caressed his cheeks and looking up towards him. "You have been and always will be the best man for this family."
Jax let out a heavy sigh before moving to press his forehead against hers. "I have never loved someone as much as I love you, Lux."
"I love you too, Jackson. Forever."
Jackson wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to his side as he moved to lay on the bed. His hands moved against his back before kissing her forehead softly.
"I never knew my life could be this good, and it's all cause of you." Jackson kissed the top of her head, before grabbing her chin and turning it up towards him before kissing her deeply. "Thank you baby."
"Never have to thank me, you have done the same for me too."
Before Jax could make a move towards his wife, Amelia let out a loud cry from her bassinet, causing both of the parents to pull apart.
"How is it that our kids are the worst cock block with perfect timing." Lux chuckled softly as they slowly untangled from each other. "I got it baby,"
Lux bites her lip as she watches her husband leave their bedroom and disappear down the hall. She smiled as she heard him softly talking to Amelia, not making out the words, but knowing they were words of comfort. She sighed softly and moved to slowly stand up and walk towards the room till she was leaning against the door way. His back was turned to her, as he slowly rocked their daughter back to sleep. The first thought that came to her mind was the love that she had for her family. The second that she was lucky to have them and couldn't believe she was finally happy and with a man she loved more than anything.
