Quidditch try-outs were headache building. Harry closed his eyes. He just wanted to be back in Slytherin's study, curled up in a couch with Link. If Hooper complained one more time he'd curse him – and Ron. Oh, Ron was nowhere near as good as he'd tried to sound like.
"What do you think?" Angelina asked.
Harry turned to her. He shook his head. "Hooper is a good player but his personality sucks and Frobisher isn't reliable enough. She shouldn't be here. Weasley's descent but he can get problems with nerves. It really is up to you," he said.
Angelina nodded. "And the Seekers?"
"Ginevra is a good player with some practice she could go far," Harry said. "Only problem is that it's her OWL year next year. But I doubt she's got as many things going on as I do. She'll probably keep playing." He thought for a moment. "If you train her good enough she could make a good Captain next year if Kate doesn't want the job."
Angelina chuckled. "You're probably right," she said with a sigh. "I think I'll go for the two Weasleys. Ginevra is good and her brother will hopefully improve."
Link looked up as Harry walked into Slytherin's library. The raven looked exhausted his hair was standing on end and he was dragging his feet.
"Tough day?" the blond asked.
Harry looked up and nodded tiredly. He didn't respond but walked up to the couch Link was sitting on and collapsed.
The blond reached out and pulled his lover closer. "Hey," he whispered in the smaller teen's ear as he started running his hands down the raven's back. Harry had showered before he came back and his hair was wet.
"Mmmmh."
Link laughed warmly. "Feels good, huh?"
"Mmmh, love you. Don't stop," Harry mumbled into the blonde's shirt.
Link smiled and shifted so he could reach further down. He rubbed his hands over shoulder blades, down along the spine and back up again. He leaned his head forward and brushed his cheek against raven hair.
Harry shifted and pressed his lips against the blonde's throat.
Link felt the raven's hands travel up his body and settle around his neck. He smirked and as his hands travelled down this time he squeezed the perfect ass beneath his palms. Harry moaned in his ear. The blond chuckled and pulled the smaller teen up to sit in his lap. He looked up into swirling emerald orbs and let his hands travel to rest on firm thighs.
Harry gave him a mischievous smile and bent down pressing their lips together. A tongue swept out over the blonde's lip asking for permission to enter. Link opened his mouth and ran his tongue against the raven's in greeting. His hand travelled up and squeezed the smaller teen's shoulders.
As the blond pulled away for air he could feel the hems of his shirt being lifted. The offending fabric ended up on the floor and was soon followed by the raven's own shirt. Link hummed as he trailed kissed down the expanse of skin exposed to him.
"Hmmm… Link," Harry mumbled against the blonde's ear. "Let's take this to the bed shall we."
"Mmmm, sure," Link responded and grabbed a hold of the smaller teen. He stood up and carried his lover into the bedroom.
Harry bounced as he landed on the bed. He glared at Link.
The blond just smirked.
"Well, come over here," the raven said impatiently.
Link chuckled and pounced.
He ran his hands down the raven's sides slowly as he ravished the velvet mouth. Harry moaned into the kiss but he wasn't about to let the blond have all the fun. He wrapped his legs around the larger teen and flipped them over.
"Humph."
Harry ran his tongue over Link's chest stopping at a nipple. The blond groaned his hands buried themselves in soft raven locks. He wanted more. The raven's hands worked on the blonde's zipper numbly as he kissed his way down to the belly button dipping his tongue into the nook. Link buckled into the touch making Harry smirk just before he pulled the pants off taking the underwear with them. The clothes ended up on the floor with a thump. Harry reached out and ran his finger over the freed member before him. The blond buckled into the touch with a groan. "Harry," he whined.
The raven chuckled before lowering himself down over the hard cock running his tongue over the head lapping up the pre-cum. "Mmmm jumy," he whispered huskily. Link breathed in sharply as Harry took his member into his mouth and sucked on it hungrily. The fingers holding onto raven locks tightened as the raven bobbed his head up and down.
Link panted lightly under the ministrations but he wanted something more tonight. As Harry let go off his cock with a plop, he grabbed a hold of the smaller teen and flipped them over. "Let's get rid off these shall we," he said hoarsely and grabbed the hem of the raven's pants. He pulled them off roughly briefs and all. He hummed at the sight before him before he captured rosy lips in a slow gentle kiss. Hands travelled down and spread legs wide. There was a click as the cap of a bottle opened. Then cold slick fingers were circling Harry's opening.
Link pulled away from the kiss. Questioning sapphire-blue met burning emerald-green. The raven nodded. Then he gasped as a finger made its way into his tight opening. "Mmh, Link … more… don't tease," he managed to get out between moans and whimpers. The blond smiled softly at his lover. "Impatient are we?" he asked before he went down for another kiss. A second finger was added to the first and Link stretch the tight warm cavern slowly. His cock throbbed with need. He wanted nothing more than being buried deep inside that tight heat. A third finger was added to the others.
Harry buckled making the digits go in further. "Ahhh." Link's fingers had brushed against his prostate. His fingers were digging into the soft sheets beneath him as he buckled once more. "Link," he whimpered. The blond kissed his lover as he pulled his fingers out. His heart was racing they never gone this far before. Harry whined at empty feeling his hands searching for his lover but he had enough awareness to send off a spell that would make certain he wasn't hurt to badly.
"Shhh, love. I've got something much better than that," Link said as he positioned himself between the raven's spread legs. The legs moved and wrapped around his waist. "If you don't fuck me soon I'm gonna do it myself," Harry said his eyes were almost black with lust. Link smiled as he stole a kiss before he lined himself up with the tight opening.
Harry clenched his teeth at the intrusion. It was uncomfortable. Soft lips pressed against his chest, and he took a calming breath trying to relax his tens muscles. The raven gasped as Link moved deeper into him. 'So full," he thought.
Link almost stopped as he saw tears running down his lover cheeks but Harry wouldn't let him. The legs around his waist tightened and pulled him closer. Harry shifted. It was hot. Link really wanted to move but the look on the raven's face stopped him. He leaned forward and captured rosy lips in searing kiss.
"You can move now," Harry said after a while. He eased his grip on the blond. Link breathed in to steady himself. The raven's hands found their way to the blonde's biceps as the teen's cock moved slowly in and out off him in short strokes.
The speed picked up and Harry started meeting Link's trusts with his own. He moaned loudly. "Yesss," Link hissed. "Scream for me." The raven let out another loud moan. His grip on Link's arms tightened and his heels dug into the mattress. "Fuck," he breathed. "So tight love," Link groaned. "Feels so good around me."
"Link… faster… aah." Nimble fingers dug into the sheets as Harry buckled. The blond sped up. Their sweaty bodies moved together in a dance so natural that it didn't need instructions. Bodies moving against each other. Kisses stolen. Link reach in between them and started stroking Harry's cock in time with his thrusts. The raven locked eyes with his lover. There were no words to describe the way he felt for the blond. Lips settled over his before he had a chance to tell Link he was close. Then his world exploded. His vision turned black and all he could do was feel. Feel as his muscles constricted. Feel as Link's seed filled his tight channel.
"I Love You," Link whispered.
"I Love You too," Harry whispered now exhausted from the day's activities.
Dear Snuffles,
I am going to start this letter by apologising for disappearing
on you this summer. I had previous commitments to uphold
and did not appreciate being kidnaped from number four
Privet Drive without warning.
That said I have had an interesting time back here at
Hogwarts. We have a new Defence Against the Dark Arts
teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge, and if you cross her
she is not unlike you mother I must say.
Classes go on as usual and we're all doing fine. I hope
this letter finds you in good health.

Harry looked down at the note again. 'Why am I supposed to be here?' he wondered. He knew that Sirius had sent the note but what was the ex-convict going to do? Link was sitting next to him but the rune bracelet he'd created earlier in the year kept people from noticing the blond. The bracelet had two settings one mild and one strong the strong one kept Link from being noticed at all and the milder setting allowed people to see and speak to him but they would be unable to recall any of it after they stopped talking to him. It was still there they just couldn't focus on it. Ron and Hermione were there as well. They were doing homework.
"Harry," Link whispered. The raven turned his head. "There is a face in the fireplace." The blond motioned to the fire. Harry blinked and looked over at the fireplace. It looked perfectly normal to him. The yellow flames licked at the stone. Then the fire shifted and a face became visible for a few seconds.
"O.K. write that down," Hermione told Ron as she pushed his essay and a sheet covered in her own writing over to him, "then add this conclusion I've written for you."
"Hermione, you are honestly the most wonderful person I've ever met," Ron said weakly, "and if I'm ever rude to you again…"
"… I'll know you're back to normal," the brunette said. "Harry … Harry why are you down there?
"I saw Sirius' head in the fire," Harry said calmly from his position in front of the fireplace.
"Sirius' head?" Hermione repeated. "You mean like when he wanted to talk to you during the Triwizard Tournament? But he wouldn't do that now, it would be too… Sirius!" she gasped. Ron dropped his quill.
There in the middle of the dancing flames sat Sirius' head, long dark hair falling around his grinning face. "I was starting to think that you'd go to bed before everyone else had disappeared," he said. "I've been checking ever hour."
Harry shook his head. "You wanted to talk to me," he said getting straight to the point at the same time as Hermione exclaimed, "But Sirius what if you'd been seen?"
"Well, I think a girl…"
"Does it matter now?" Harry interrupted his godfather, "What did you want?"
"Well," Sirius gave his godson an unreadable look, "You had Molly in a state, disappearing like that. It really was irresponsible of you." Then his expression changed. "Where did you go? What did you do?" he asked excitedly. "How on earth did you get out without anyone noticing?"
Harry laughed and Hermione looked shocked. "Sirius!" she almost shouted.
Harry was glad that he'd placed a silence ward around them earlier. "Well, getting out was no problem you see Kreacher really likes me…"
"That little wretched toerag. Really Harry you shouldn't trust him," Sirius said his expression serious once more.
Ron laughed but Hermione looked upset. "Sirius," she said reproachfully. "Honestly, if you made a bit of an effort with Kreacher, I'm sure he'd respond. After all, you're the only member of his family he's got left, and Professor Dumbledore said…"
"So, what are Umbridge's lessons like?" Sirius interrupted. "Is she training you all to kill half-breads?"
"No, she isn't. Why would she?" Harry said ignoring Hermione's affronted look at being cut off in her defence of the house-elf for now.
"Apparently, she loathes part-humans. She drafted a bit of anti-werewolf legislation two years ago that makes it almost impossible for Remus to get a job. That and she campaigned to have merpeople rounded up and tagged last year, too." Sirius informed the teens.
Harry snorted. He wasn't the least bit surprised by new information. "No, she's not teaching us to kill half-breads. She's not letting us use magic at all actually," he said.
"All we do is read the stupid textbook," Ron said.
"Ah, well, that figures," Sirius said. "Our information from inside the ministry is that Fudge doesn't want you trained in combat."
Harry rolled his eyes. "Thinks Dumbledore is forming some sort of private army to use against the Ministry here, does he?" he said.
"Yes that would be it." Sirius head bobbed vigorously.
"That is the most stupid thing I've ever heard, including all the stuff that Luna Lovegood comes out with," Ron said. "Ouch, Harry what was that for?"
Harry had sent a stinging hex the redhead's way. His eyes were narrowed as he said, "You should be nice to Luna she knows far more than you'll ever understand."
Hermione ignoring the boys said, "So, we're being prevented from learning Defence Against the Dark Arts because Fudge is scared we'll use spells against the Ministry?" She looked furious.
"Yep," Sirius said. "Fudge thinks Dumbledore will stop at nothing to seize power. He's getting more paranoid about Dumbledore by the day. It's a matter of time before he has Dumbledore arrested on some trumped-up charge. When is your next Hogsmeade weekend by the way? I was thinking, I got away with the dog disguise at the station, so maybe I could use it to…"
"NO!" Hermione shouted startling her raven friend. "Sirius didn't you see the Daily Prophet?" she continued anxiously.
"Oh, that," Sirius said, grinning, "they're always guessing where I am, they haven't really got a clue…"
"Well, yes, that might be true but we think it's different this time," the brunette said. "We met Malfoy on the train and he said something which has us thinking that he knew it was you. His father, Lucius Malfoy, was on the platform that day as well. So don't come up here, whatever you do. If Malfoy recognises you again…"
"All right, all right I've got the point," Sirius said. He looked most displeased. "Just an idea, thought you might like to get together." He was looking straight at Harry now and the raven could see the small glimmer of hope in those sunken eyes. "I would," he said. "I just don't want you to get chucked back into Azkaban."
A piece of paper went through the flames. There was a pause in which Sirius grabbed the piece of paper. Then he looked out off the fire at Harry, a crease between his sunken eyes. "You're less like your father than I thought," he said finally, a definite coolness in his voice. "The risk would've been what made it fun for James."
Behind Harry Link snorted. The blond knew that it was bluff but that was still a low blow for an orphan like Harry. The man was lucky it was just bluff.
"Look…" the raven did his best to sound remorseful.
"Well. I'd better be going, I can hear Kreacher coming down the stairs," Sirius said. "I'll write to tell you a time I can make it back into the fire, then, shall I? If you can stand to risk it?" There was a tiny pop, and the place where Sirius' head had been was flickering flames once more.
…
Sirius looked down at the piece of paper in his hand.
Meet me by the Shrieking Shack first weekend in October. We can talk properly then.
Shadow
He smiled at the note but couldn't help but wonder why his godson didn't let his friends know they were going to meet. It didn't really matter to him, though, as long as he got to meet Harry again.
…
Harry leaned into Link's warmth. They were still sitting in the Gryffindor common room. Ron and Hermione had gone to bed.
"So you introduce me to him then I take it," the blond said as he ran his finger through the long raven hair before him.
"Yeah, I was thinking that. I thought maybe we should show him our animal forms too," the raven said. He placed his head in the blonde's lap sighing contently.
"Bed time," Link said.
"Mmmmh."
Harry was walking next to Link. The wind blowing on this somewhat chilly October morning was wiping his hair about. He hadn't felt like putting it up that morning something he was regretting now. Sighing he placed his hand over the top of his hair and magiced it into a high ponytail. 'Much better,' he though.
They'd left early that morning just so they could avoid Ron and Hermione. The two Gryffindors had asked the raven to lead a Defence study group of sorts a couple of weeks ago. Harry wasn't interested though. He had far too much on his plate as it was with the twins and his own school work and let's not forget the Hogwarts' wards. He was getting something of them, something really dangerous but with the state of the wards he couldn't pinpoint it. He could understand why she wanted him to lead the group but they would just have to make do without him.
The two teens made their way up to the Shrieking Shack. The big black dog was nowhere to be seen which wasn't strange since it was still early. Harry was hoping he'd come soon though because things would be easier the fewer people there was around.
"Don't worry my little Shadow," Link said with a smile. He wrapped his arms around the smaller teen loosely.
Harry leaned back into the blonde's warmth not that he was cold but it felt nice anyway. "I'm not really worried you know. It's just that…" he didn't know how to explain it. Sirius mattered to him maybe not as much as Salazar and Nathaniel but he did matter. He didn't want the dog animagus to be disappointed in him but he knew that if Sirius was he'd still do things his way. He hoped that his godfather would support them. That he would accept them.
"Here he comes," Link said after a while.
Harry looked up. The blond was right. There on the grass plain stretching out behind the Shack was a black shape. It was moving fast coming towards them. Harry freed himself from the blonds grip and stood up. The blond smiled at his lover and then he shifted to his wolf form. Harry scratched between the wolf's ears fondly. "Feels good doesn't it, Azure?" he said. The wolf whined in response bumping his head against the raven's hand.
"Hey Padfoot," Harry said as the big black shaggy dog came up to them. He reached out with his unoccupied hand and the dog licked at it enthusiastically. "We're going this way," he said and led the two canines around the small village. He was heading to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. They needed privacy and that was one of the few ways to get it.
Harry sat down with his back against a tree. Azure lay down next to him and placed his large head in his lap. The raven gave the dog a pointed look. "You know we can't talk if you're a dog right," he said.
The dog looked sheepishly at him for a moment before shifting back to the somewhat ragged looking human. "Sorry 'bout that," Sirius said. "So tell me what has been going on."
…
… Harry started by telling Sirius about that summer.
… Then the true story began.
… It was a long one to tell.
…
By the end of it Sirius was staring at his godson – part in horror and part in amazement. "You did all that?" he said in awe.
Harry nodded. "Yeah me and Link did," he said.
"You're Salazar Slytherin's son?"
"Yeah,"
"And this Link… You love him?"
"Yes I do."
"But he's stuck in that… High Rule isn't he?"
Harry smiled at his godfather. "You really think that father wouldn't find a way back here, huh?" His smile broke out in a full blasted grin. The big sand coloured wolf stood up and shook his head slowly. The body shifted from canine to human. Link wore a shit-eating grin were he stood before the stunned ex-con. The blond flipped down next to his lover. He grabbed the raven and moved him over to sit between his legs.
"So I guess he's not stuck in High Rule then," Sirius said when his voice would cooperate once more.
Harry shook his head. "No he's been here since I left this summer. The only good thing about getting that court meeting and having the location changed. Link could sniff me out pretty easily."
Sirius nodded. Then he looked down. "So … If you hadn't promised those twins … would you've stayed?" he asked.
"Yes we would have stayed Siri," Harry said. He moved away from Link and sat down in front of his godfather. "We're family right. The Winters they mean a lot to me but so do you." He grabbed Sirius upper arm with one hand before moving in to hug the man. "I can't however hope that things were different because then I might never have met Link. But we won't be telling just anyone the whole true story. Most people don't need to know."
"Ron and Hermione?" Sirius looked at the raven questioningly.
"They don't know but Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom do and Cedric Diggory did know…" Harry trailed off.
Link moved up to him and wrapped his arms around the smaller teen – offering his silent support. "Before you ask Luna knew before Harry told her and Neville was told after he'd met me. That and the Winters family knows as well. They've known since Harry was ten," Link said his protective tone obvious.
Sirius raised his arms in surrender. "I'm not angry he told others before me calm down," he said. "I'm glad he's got people he can trust. I… I am surprised that he hasn't told Ron and Hermione I guess but it's his choice and…"
"Can you please stop talking about me like I'm not here," Harry said annoyed.
"Sorry," Sirius said sheepishly.
Harry rolled his eyes. He stood up and walked up to the tree edge. "We should leave soon," he told Link. "We've promised Emelle and Erenigh a tour of the Chamber of Secrets today."
"Yeah, sure can't be late for an outing to the lair of a big evil monster," Sirius said with a cheeky smile on his face.
"Salmissra isn't evil Sirius she's there to protect the school," Harry said. "She won't hurt anyone unless I ask her to."
"Oh, goody my godson has a giant poisonous pet," Sirius said.
"Eh, you rather I had a small one?" Harry said. He held his arm out and Zant slithered his way out to his open palm. "This is my familiar, Zant. He's the most dangerous snake on this planet."
Sirius looked like he was about to faint for a moment before he steadied himself and took a step forward. "Hello Zant," he said and reached out with a hand that was shaking slightly. The snake liked at the fingers and hissed. The fingers were yanked back.
"He says hello dog-man," Harry said with a smirk. "He would never hurt you isn't that right Zant?"
"No master not unless he tries to hurt you," the snake replied.
"Yeah sure that's great," Sirius said nervously. "Well I guess I'd better be going. I'll see you again soon." He gave Harry a hug mindful not to let his eyes of the snake which had curled up around his godson's shoulders.
"Sure see you soon," Harry said before he shifted in his stead soon stood a big black wolf. The blond smirked at the surprised look on the ragged man's face before he shifted as well. The sandy wolf stood taller than his raven friend.
"Shadow," Sirius whispered. "You're an animagus."
The wolf barked.
Sirius face broke out in a wide grin. He walked forward and ran his finger down the wolf's head. "You never seize to amaze me," he said. A black dog stood in his place a few second later. He barked once and then he ran off. There was a lot on his mind. His godson was nowhere near what he'd thought he was.
…
In the meantime Link and Harry were running towards the school. There was little in the Forbidden Forest that could hurt the two wolves – especially since Harry could access his elemental magic no matter what form he was in.
They stopped just before the forest edge and shifted back.
"Well, well, what do we have here?"
The two teens turned around slowly. Ready for a fight if need be.
