The group stopped to catch their breaths. It only took them a few minutes before noticing more Demons and Devils coming their way. The group groaned, until the Digidestined remembered one important detail;
Their Digimons can evolve again!
Kari and TK both grabbed their Digivices and cried simultaneously, "AWAKEN!"
Both Tailmon and Patamon were engulfed in light, causing them to grow taller until they were in the shape of armored Humans with wings. When the light died down, both Tailmon and Patamon have fully Digivolved respectively into their Mega forms; Ophanimon and Seraphimon.
"ARMOR UP!" Cody cried. Armadimon was engulfed in light, Digivolving him into one of his Armored Forms; Digmon.
Mimi's and Joe's Digimons were the last to Digivolve into their respective Ultimate Forms; Lillymon and Zudomon.
The others were surprised at the sight of the newly Digivolved Digimons. When the Demons and Devils attacked, the Digimons retaliated. Zudomon and Digmon smashed the ground, creating a ring of rocks to trap Satan's Followers. As the Prisoners were too busy breaking out, they didn't notice Lillymon flying around them, adorning each and one of them with Flower Wreaths. This caused them to mellow down for a bit. Of course, they didn't trap all of the Followers...
While the Magicians watched, Sadie couldn't help but feel, jealous. And agitated with herself! If she had her Magic, she could have easily trapped those Dark Followers so that she and her friends could make a clean get-away. Sure the others lost their Magic as well, but she feels like the weakest and most useless!
"Let's go!" Seraphimon cried as he grabbed TK. Once all of Satan's Followers were incapacitated, the Digimons grabbed their respective partners and led them to safety.
The group ran until they stopped in front of a fork in the road; three separate tunnels. But which ones to take?
Suddenly, something struck the ground near their feet. The next thing they knew, they were coughing up dust from the explosion.
"This way!" Zudomon cried, pointing to the center tunnel.
The others tried their best to follow his lead, but the dust was making it difficult to see. Eventually, they regained their vision and found themselves in another area.
Joe sighed in relief before turning to check on the others, "Everyone okay?"
To his complete shock, only the Digidestined and Digimons were with him. The Magicians were nowhere to be seen!
Carter wiped the dust out of his eyes, allowing him to sigh in relief; Atleast his Team are all toge...
Wait... Where's Sadie?!
Not only was the group separated, but Sadie as well!
Will her Bad Luck ever run out? Now she lost her Brother and her Friends! Hopefully, she won't run into any Demons/Devils!
She ran around, hoping to find the rest of the group, but failed every time. She finally stopped, and cursed; She couldv'e had used a spell to teleport to the others, but NO! Stupid, bloody Devil!
"You were always the stubborn one."
That voice...
"You never hesitated to charge into the Battlefield. The most, rash of the Seven." She went on, "Now look at you; Having to depend on your brother once again for protection."
"Shut up ISIS!" Sadie snapped, clutching her head.
"I can help you regain what you have lost." Isis offers, "But only if you..."
"No!" Sadie refused, "I know how you work, Isis. I'm not falling for any of your tricks, AGAIN!"
From the day the Egyptian goddess possessed her, she knew there was something, bloody about her. And if manipulating the Egyptian Sun god Ra into abdicating his throne to her husband Osiris wasn't bad enough, she was also in league with The Devil!
The goddess then appeared before her. At first she looked annoyed, then she calmly said, "Very well. I guess you don't mind if The Devil finishes his meal."
This caught Sadie by surprise, "What?"
"Oh please. That Magic of yours is what he calls 'Appetizer' in the Dark Side of where he comes from." Isis went on, her voice and gaze turning, dark, "What he really wants, is the Full Course."
"NO!" Enraged, Sadie attempted to pounce at the goddess but was held back by a Shadow.
"Its a shame really." Isis mocked, "The 'Most Powerful' of The Seven, powerless to stop us. So, care to tell an all-powerful goddess on what you're planning to do Sadie?"
Sadie didn't say anything. She just glared at the goddess with all her hate.
"What, are, you, PLANNING TO DO?!" Isis pressed on further.
Sadie wanted to scream, but something was holding her back. If only she wasn't so careless. If only she wasn't so reckless. If only she still had her Magic with her!
Isis could see the Former Magician being engulfed in her own despair, and disappointment. So, much, DARKNESS!
SHE CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!
As Isis' eyes turned bloody red, Sadie's scream echoed within the walls of the Castle.
Satan was reading a book when he heard Sadie's scream. Ah that beautiful, murderous scream.
"At long last; the hunter has found his treasure. But it came with a price..."
Neo and the others had just finished beating up the last Demon when they heard Sadie's cry. And it sounded... dark.
They have to hurry. If they're lucky... the others might be able to fix it before they do.
TK and the others ran across the corridors in search of their missing friends. For some reason, they found themselves almost falling into a deep chasm separating their path from the safer side. Kari would have fallen into the darkness bellow them if TK hadn't saved her.
The group decided to get to the other side by using their Flying Digimons. This meant that Zudomon and Digmon had to devolve back into their Rookie Forms.
Once they landed safely on the other side, TK and Kari noticed they were still holding unto each other and quickly separated in embarrassment. Of course, the others noticed.
"Guys!"
The moment was interrupted by the arrival of the Magicians minus Sadie.
"Have you seen Sadie?" Carter asks worriedly.
Before anyone could answer, several Hieroglyphic symbols appeared on the walls. They glowed momentarily before exploding.
Luckily for everyone, the Digimons shielded them by huddling together. When the dust settles, they separated, only to gawk in disbelief at the one who set the trap.
"Sadie?"
