The View from the Seventh Floor
As dusk gathered around the edges of Paris, they wandered back to the Le Lux Hôtel, lips sticky from almond macaroon indulgence. The lobby, really the whole hotel, was a study in combining 18th century palace opulence with contemporary comfort.
Elaine stepped out on the private terrace, so high it seemed to brush the stars. Her gaze swept from Notre Dame down the gleaming Seine to the Eiffel Tower's glowing shape.
Severus had discarded his cane by the suite's entrance and passed through the open balcony door, elegant wine glasses in one hand and bottle in the other.
Almond, #74
Elaine's Le Lux Hôtel experience is based on the Le Meurice & the room that inspired me goes for between €1100 & €1310 a night in June.
